Herro everyone! It's been a big week so I've finally managed to find the time to post this. Thankyou for your messages and reviews.

When Sam woke up, his hands were still Blaine's, his body was still Blaine's. What the hell? Had his powers worn off? He couldn't explain himself to Kurt looking like this. Well, he had to do something, he couldn't leave Kurt to think he was actually Blaine. Sam just had to bite the bullet.

So, Sam slunk down the stairs, dressed in the only set of clothes he owned that would fit him with every intention of explaining himself to Kurt. Instead, what he found was Burt sitting at the breakfast bar eating an unappetising bowl of bran.

"Morning kid." He said without any look of shock. He flipped a page in his motorbike catalogue while he hovered his spoon to feed himself. "Before you say anything, you don't owe me an explanation. It's your life, and don't worry about Sam, I'm not going to kick him out on the streets. I know he would be worried about that sort of thing."

"Burt, it's me." Sam said, he figured there was no point in lying to Burt as well. "It's Sam."

"Sam what are you doing as Blaine?"

"I got stuck. I think my powers are wearing off."

"I knew a flying motorbike was too good to be true." Burt tucked away his magazine.

"Where is Kurt?"

"Gone to school already. Wanted to get there early for some reason."

"I better get going." Sam dashed to the door.

"Wait, how long am I going to have powers for, kid?" Burt called, but the door was already closed behind him.

Sam ran all the way to school which was a little difficult considering his legs were shorter than he was used to. He made it to school. He had to find Kurt, or Blaine, or somebody that could help. Instead, the first person he found was Unique. She was sitting on a bench outside of school and waved him over.

"Blaine, come here, I have heaps to tell you. Sugar bought me a whole new wardrobe. Look at this bling!" Unique shimmied her chest, letting her new necklace sparkle. She also had matching earrings. Was that a new denim jacket?

"I'm not Blaine. It's me Sam. I'm stuck."

"What?"

"I'm stuck as Blaine." now that Sam said it out loud, he began to panic.

"Sit down child, what were you doing as Blaine in the first place? You weren't up to no good, were you? Because that crosses some lines superheros shouldn't cross."

"No, no, nothing like that, I mean Kurt kissed me but that was it, that's why I need to find him, to tell him that he's got the wrong guy."

"Eww, sorry, there better not be any Kam or Surt in this story, the names don't even sound right, like some sort of rejected smurf. Besides, there's no room left on the walls for more posters."

"Unique, just relax, I'm never kissing Kurt ever again. Wait, what posters?"

"Oh, right, you haven't been inside yet."

"What's inside?"

"One problem at a time. Now, put your hands out."

"Why?"

"Well, if you really have run out of superpowers then I won't be able to use mine. It will at least tell me if you can't change back or won't change back." Unique and Sam held hands. Unique rolled her shoulders back, making her new necklace shimmer in the light, then the necklace disappeared and then Unique changed into Sam. Sam was staring at himself.

"So, looks like it's the latter." Unique said, poising herself as best she could as Sam. Sam was staring at himself now. "So, are you going to tell me why you are Blaine? I mean, if you were jerking off as Blaine, we need to set some guidelines at our next team meeting."

"No, no, no, why does everyone assume that!"

"Sam, why do you think you are stuck as Blaine."

"I don't know."

"Why don't you start with the basics, what were you doing when you turned into Blaine."

"Exercising."

"Sure, that's what you call it."

"I was running!"

"And what were you thinking about when you were running?"

"Blaine."

"What about him?"

"Just him. Like, how he is my best friend, and how I am sure I've screwed it all up, and I just want to… Ok it's really distracting to talk to myself."

"Well, this is the face you need to talk to." Unique insisted. "Start from the beginning."

"It started as… I was Kurt for a while and Blaine and I…"

"Did things."

"Ah, yeah, and then we did things when I was me, like me-me. And then Kurt came home and Blaine and Kurt, well then they kissed, and I just can't stop thinking about him and then, well, now I'm stuck."

"You started as Kurt because you wanted to be closer to Blaine. And now that Kurt is here, the only way to be closer to Blaine is to be Blaine himself."

"I ah, never thought of it like that."

"When I looked in the mirror, for a long time I saw a stranger. I knew who I was on the inside, but my outside, just didn't match. But you, it's like you're the opposite, it's like you don't know who you are on the inside, so your swapping your outsides to try and find who you are in the inside so you can be with the person you like. Do you understand what I am trying to say?"

"I think so."

"So, let's try this." Unique still held Sam's hands and held them tight. "Deep breath in. Who is Sam Evans?"

"Ahh, he's me."

"Hmm, and what does he look like?"

"He has blond hair, he's tall. Everyone talks about his mouth."

"No, no, don't talk about everyone else, only you."

"Blaine liked my lips."

"Ah, ah, no, no Blaine just you. Do you like your lips?"

"They're ok, I guess. I like my smile better."

"Good, then focus on that. What else do you like about yourself?"

"I'm good at drawing, and art."

"I didn't know you did art."

"Top of my class. I like drawing comics too."

"See that's something only you can do."

"Yeah, I suppose."

"That's good, that's awesome."

"I do like making macaroni art."

"Mackerwhat?"

"Macaroni art, it's like you colour the different macaroni and make pictures, I'm trying to branch out and use clay as well and I've been making these little monster models and-"

"Sam open your eyes." Unique said. He did and looked down, he was Sam again.

"Oh, thank god." Unique looked chuffed with herself returning to her normal body.

"Don't you ever say I don't do anything around here."

"I ah, think I should clear things up with Kurt now."

"Yeah you better, while you had your eyes closed, he saw us holding hands, I mean me as you and you as Blaine."

"What? You didn't tell me?"

"I had to get you back to you! If I interrupted you, you would still be stuck as Blaine."

"Right, yeah, ah, thankyou Unique."

"Your welcome!" Unique called as Sam ran away in a t-shirt that looked way too tight for him and jeans that showed his ankles now that he had returned to his normal height.

What Sam wasn't expecting was the chaos that hit him in the face as soon as he opened McKinley high school doors. Literally, hit him. The piece of paper flew off the wall and into his face.

"What the…"

BREAKING NEWS

Superpowers aren't the only thing that's going around McKinley high school. Turns out McKinley has a case of the love triangles. Just when you thought there couldn't possibly be any more Glee combinations turns out there is a couple that slipped right under the radar. That's right, it's Blam! (Sam and Blaine, for those not up to date with the lingo) The dynamic duo that started this superhero craze started something else too *wink, wink*.

But close sources to the matter suggest that Kurt also wants Blaine back. So where does that leave our resident Blond Chameleons, Sam? What will Nightbird do?

So, people of McKinley, are you team Blam? Or team Klaine?

"Sam!" Sam looked up to fin Tina running towards him.

"No, no Tina, go away LA-LA-LA-LA!" Sam stuck his fingers in his ears.

"Sam, LISTEN TO ME!" Tina screamed so lout that Sam had no choice but to listen to it. He removed his fingers from his ears.

"Do you realise what this means?" Tina asked, holding up the papers that were pinned all around the school.

"Yes, that Jacob has access to superpowers. He is literally selling superpowers."

"Not that, idiot, you and Blaine. Jacob outed you to the entire school!"

"Tina, I hardly think anyone cares about my sexuality when there are superpowers for sale. What do you care anyway, I thought you were on the supervillains team now?"

"We have a bigger problem on our hands, do you really think anyone in this school wants Jacob Israel to be top dog? No, we need to work together to get that stupid suit out of his hands."

"He's charging $100 for superpowers. Granted it's a bargain, but nobody here has that sort of money. It's a public school, Stoner Brett couldn't even afford pencils."

"No, he could, he just sharpened down then tried to smoke the pencil shavings all of final year."

"And why is that?"

"… Because he couldn't afford anything else."

"Exactly, nobody has $100 just lying around."

"FREE MONEY!" Sugar screamed from down the corridor. She was saddled upon a dappled pony who sullenly trudged down the school corridor with an expression that was worn by most of the teachers here; defeated. Sugar was adorned with jewelled and a long pink fluffy cape that swept the floor. Her pony had golden hooves and a diamond bridle.

"Free money for everyone!" Sugar threw a wad of bills in the air to fall around her. The students fell around her feet. "Oh, it feels so great to do charity work!" Sugar threw more bills into the air like it was confetti.

"Sugar, no!" Sam and Tina raced up to her and her depressed horse. They saw now why it was depressed (apart from the obvious reasons) Sugar had glued a sparkly pink paper cone into his forehead.

"Sugar, stop throwing money away?"

"Why?" She asked, halting her steed. "I don't need my money anymore now that I can buy anything I want. Well, except for a unicorn." She motioned down to her pony, "But I managed to make Cornelius appear. I think he needs some counselling though; he looks so sad all the time."

"Might have something to do with the horn stuck to his head." Tina said, ripping off the stupid horn and throwing it on the floor.

"Sugar, read this." Sam thrust the newsletter at Sugar. She read it.

"O.M.G! You and Blaine!"

"What?"

"I am totally all for the Blam, where do I cast my vote?"

"Sugar, forget about that, you are missing the point. The superpowers! If you give them money, they will go buy superpowers. We must stop Jacob. We have to work with the supervillains. Do you think you can get the team together and call an emergency meeting?"

"Yeah sure, I can totally do that. But isn't that your job?"

"I have to go find Kurt and… sort something out."

"I'll go convince the villains to join."

"No." Sugar said, "You can't go make people do what you want them to do. You need to use your powers responsibly."

"Look who's talking?" Tina countered, gesturing to a very depressed Cornelius.

Something told Sam that the two of them together would work just fine.

So, Sam left Sugar and Tina in charge of recruiting the heroes and villains. He needed to find Kurt.

Sam never made it to Kurt. He was halted by the sound a stifled sniffle coming from an empty classroom. He would recognise those sobs anywhere, he had to endure them every lunch break when the Klaine cheating fiasco went down. There was Blaine sitting in the back of the classroom, on the floor, hugging his knees. Sam crept inside and locked the classroom door behind him.

"Blaine?"

"Sam, go away."

"No. Let me say something first." Sam mustered up the courage in one big breath. He marched to the back of the classroom and stood in front of Blaine. He did his best not to look at him, avoiding eye contact and focusing on the tacky solar system hanging above his head.

"As your friend, I'm happy for you. I know you love Kurt and if that's what makes you happy then as your friend, I have to support you. I think you are making a mistake though. I think that it's going to make you miserable again and I don't want to see that."

Sam dropped to his knees and forced himself to make eye contact with the sniffling Blaine. His nose was red from rubbing it and there were dark bags under his eyes. He looked like he just needed a hug.

"Blaine, please don't let Kurt stop us from being friends."

"Why would he stop us from being friends?" Blaine's eyebrows furrowed, missing something.

"You were kissing him last night. I assumed that you were back together."

"He sneak-attack kissed me."

"You have ninja reflexes."

"Oh… maybe they are wearing off."

"So… you aren't going to back to Kurt?" Sam sat up against the wall besides Blaine.

"I don't know what I'm doing. Kurt always talks about true love and what if he is my true love? What if things don't work out and I lose my best friend? No matter what, which ever I choose, I'm going to lose the other."

"Hey, hey, hey." Sam wrapped Blaine up in his arms, rocking him a little. "Do you think the Avengers broke up? No, they just got their own movie deals but when it came to defeating Thanos, they all came together in the end. Think of it as like your own movie and when you need me, I'll be right by your side."

"Your saying that we need a multiplanetary warlord to bring us back together?"

"No, nothing that drastic, I hope. Ok, so I'm really bad at analogies but the point is, I'm your friend, I think it would be a dumb idea to go back to Kurt, but if that's what you want then…" Sam didn't finish the sentence, he just held Blaine a little tighter and breathed in the oily sweet scent of hair. There was the smell of Blaine somewhere beneath that hair gel. The nape of Blaine's neck was exposed, and Sam wanted to just press kisses all down it.

"I don't know what I want. The thought of returning to the way things were with Kurt makes me feel a little sick. You know? That feeling of waiting in front of your laptop. Being so dependent on your phone to buzz with one simple message to make your day? That's not how I want to spend the rest of my year. But then, I know at the other end of that phone call is Kurt, it's still Kurt."

"I don't think you are in love with Kurt."

"What?"

"You are in love with the memory of it, what it all felt like before. You like the idea of being with your first love." Sam said, hoping Blaine wouldn't pull away from his embrace. Blaine's forehead was resting on his shoulder, shaking his head back of forth in denial.

"Blaine, you knew that I was still me when I was Kurt. You still kissed me, did everything with me, but you knew that I wasn't Kurt. If you really wanted Kurt, the fantasy would have meant nothing. And then when I was really me? Come on, don't say you didn't enjoy that. We could have that every night if we wanted to. Well, not every night, not school nights, Burt insists on curfew on school nights. But isn't it-"

"Sam." Blaine breathed, lifting his head. They were so close they could feel each other's breath. Blaine tilted his head, so their foreheads touched. "You are waffling again."

"Sorry."

"Don't be." Blaine couldn't help himself, all it took was a slight change in angle and Blaine's lips were on Sam's. Sam moaned, partly from shock and partly from the rush of desire that ran from the pit of his stomach to his throat. He wanted Blaine so much, needed to prove to him how wonderful they could be together. Sam swept his tongue across Blaine's, then caught it between his lips and suckled it into his mouth. He stroked his hands behind Blaine's ears and cupped his jawline. Sam wanted to fall back and melt, letting Blaine straddle him. He wanted it so badly, to just fall on the floor and give himself to Blaine just one more time. So that is what he did. Sam sunk down to the floor and let Blaine follow atop of him. Their kiss slowed just a little, their lips opening and closing with every breath. Blaine's elbows were resting either side of Sam and his body hovered just above. Sam let his fingers draw gentle lines up and down Blaine's ribs. This could be their last kiss. Blaine could be using him again. After this Blaine could tell him he wanted to be with Kurt and then what would Sam do? just let him go?

Sam's breaking heart made him tug Blaine down so their bodies met completely. Blaine's hips dragged in between Sam's.

"Don't want to let you go." Sam breathed, feeling the intoxicating pressure of Blaine's body pressing on his cock. He just needed one of them to move, to grind and rock, he could just show Blaine that he could give him everything he needed.

"Then don't." Blaine begged. "You feel too good."

"Blaine, there's something I need to tell you." Sam gasped when Blaine's kiss trailed down to his neck. Sam let out a groan as Blaine began to suck gently.

"Tell me latter." Blaine said before resuming his hicky.

"But Blaine, I, I want to but…" Blaine stopped then, pulled away and sat up, still straddled on Sam. He looked down at the boy, blond hair flopped, his chest heaving and nipples showing through like they were painted on. Was that shirt unusually tight today?

"I have to confess something." Sam rested up on the palms of his hands. Blaine remained in his lap, nestled snuggly in it. It was like he didn't want to let go. Their chests and faces were so close.

"If you are talking about the newsletter, I already saw them this morning."

"No, not that. Last night Kurt kissed me."

"What?"

"He didn't know it was me, it's not his fault, he thought I was you."

"Why would he think that?"

"Because, well, because I turned into you. I didn't even realise I had done it until he kissed me. And ah, I didn't correct him, I just ran up into my room. So now he thinks you've chosen me. I was going to tell him but then I found you here." Sam waited for Blaine to say something, to slap him in the face, to do anything. Instead he found a gentle palm pressed to his cheek and giggles escape and dance between them. Blaine was laughing.

"You were me?" Blaine bit his lips.

"Yeah, I got stuck as you. I had to arrive at school as you, long story short, Unique helped me change back and now I'm dressed in a t-shirt I haven't been able to fit in since I was fourteen."

This made Blaine laugh even more and pinch Sam's very obvious nipples.

"Och!" Sam clasped his hands to his chest and fell backwards. Blaine fell atop of him, giggling into his chest.

"What is so funny!"

"So, ah, while you were me, did you ah…." Blaine gripped Sam's gunk and gave it a squeeze. Sam couldn't help but moan at the pressure.

"Why does everyone think that?" Sam batted Blaine's hand away.

"Well, your only human." Blaine gestured to his body as if it were the most fabulous thing in the world. Sam rolled his eyes and covered his face with his hands.

"Oh, my god."

"I'm just saying, would not take offence if you had. I mean, if rolls were reversed…" Blaine raised an eyebrow.

"I want the real you Blaine." Sam said in all seriousness. "Not the impression of you. Are you mad at me?"

Blaine thought for a moment, his ear to Sam's chest, listening to the quickening pace of his heart in the silence.

"No." He said. "In fact, I think you made everything a lot easier for me."

"In what way?"

"Well, because if I wanted to be with Kurt, my first thought would have been to find him and tell him it was all a mistake. But, well, when you told me all I could think about was what would have happened that night if I had snuck back into your bedroom."

"Oh. So, you want to be with me?"

"I think so. It's easy with you, that's how it's meant to be right? I mean, Kurt and I have passion, like Romeo and Juliet style passion, and it feels good to feel that. But it has its ups and downs. But you and me? It's easy."

"Are you saying I'm easy?" Sam arched an eyebrow with a smirk, knowing very well this was not what Blaine meant.

"See, this is what I mean." Blaine said, tracing Sam's lips with a gentle smile. "it's just easy with you. let's not tell Kurt that it was you last night. Let's not over complicate things." Blaine bent down and nuzzled Sam's neck again. "No point in telling him he kissed his ex-boyfriend's new boyfriend."

"I wonder if Miss Pillsbury has a pamphlet for that."

Blaine tried to suckle Sam's neck again but ended up laughing instead.

"Sam."

"Hmm?"

"About that newsletter."

"Hmm?" Sam cradled Blaine in his arms. It wasn't particularly comfortable on the flood in the back of the classroom but neither boy cared.

"If Jacob is giving out powers, then he must have access to more green-slushy."

"Or your Nightbird suit."

"That's at your house."

"I didn't see it this morning, well, to be fair, I didn't really look, I would have assumed you would have taken it home with you."

"No, I forgot it."

"Hmm." Sam sighed, not wanting to think too hard when Blaine's body was draped over his. Instead he stared up at that dumb Styrofoam solar system and let his fingers trail up under Blaine's t-shirt.

"So… for the record, if you happened to change into me, would you have…."

"Oh my god, Sam! Don't make me say it."

"I just think relation ships start with being honest with each other. What's the first think you would have done?"

"Sam!"

"Do you have a full-length mirror in your house?"

"Sam, stop talking." Blaine shoved a hand over Sam's mouth. The boy stuck out his tongue and licked Blaine's palm until he had to let go. "Eww, gross."

"Your ninja skills are useless against my trouty mouth!" Sam cackled, before sitting up and pinning Blaine down underneath him. Blaine darted his hand out of Sam's grasp and wiped his slobbered hand across Sam's face.

"Yuck! I'm going to get you back for that Nightbird." Sam stuck his tongue in Blaine's ear.

"Sam! Stop!" Blaine tried to wriggle free, but Sam's body was not going to budge. They were both laughing. When their lips brushed together, they kissed and when Blaine's hands darted to tickle Sam, Sam would nip Blaine's ear or neck. It was easy between the two of them, their bodies giddy with a mix of wanting more and contented with cheeky playfulness. They both just wanted to escape the chaos around them and remember who they really were.

That was, until they were interrupted by a jangle of the doorhandle. Suddenly the door flew open and the entire superhero and villain team spilled into the room to find Blaine and Sam making out on the floor.

"What the hell!" Sam and Blaine sat up.

"I thought you locked the door?" Blaine whispered.

"I did."

"We have an emergency!" Unique said hauling a mystery student into the room. She was dressed in jeans, long boots, sweaters, mittens a balaclava and sunglasses. Every inch of them was covered. "This is the superhero headquarters after all."

"How did you unlock the door?" Sam asked, completely missing the point. Joe, Tina, Artie, Becky, Brittany were there. Kitty was too.

"I have my ways." Kitty said, putting bobby pins back into her hair. "Never mind that. We've got a problem."

Please, please, please tell me someone gets the Cornelius reference.
