Personal notes on Pokémon and The event

[So… I have to put a small disclaimer here, since I wrote that a long time ago, things might be now considered as wrong / irrelevant. I put it anyway since I thought it was interesting to take a look back on what we knew or thought only 4 days after The event.

Official informations :

These are the information I could gather from reliable sources. (personal notes are between brackets)

- About 30% of the world population turned into Pokémon at 4h37PM UTC, while in France it is around 22%, and 18% in Alsace,

- After some test, it has been observed that DNA has completely changed for transformed people, and is different between species,

- The Pokémon Company have not been held responsible for this,

- Pokémon are still entirely aware and remember their life before, they are still the same as individuals, even though some changes in character are observed to be closer to their species behavior. (confirmed for Octave),

- All Pokémon can understand each other, even if they didn't speak the same language before and still can understand human speech, but humans can't understand Pokémon speech, with rare exceptions, like for some telepath Pokémon (or like Clara's case I guess),

- After transformation, you quickly gain full control of your new body even if its completely different, it took from a few hours to two days in some extreme cases,

- All Pokémon seems to be oviparous, pregnant women who transformed quickly laid Pokémon eggs,

- Mating seems to be possible, no official law has been made for now, but "Human x Pokemon" have to be considered as Zoophilia under any circumstances. Fertilization with two members of a same species is probably possible but has not been officially observed yet, and we don't know for egg groups (to be honest I'm not sure that I want to know),

- Moves can be learned, they are for now forbidden if they can create destruction at every scale. Otherwise they can be used as long as it is for a legal usage. (yes it does considerably reduce the list of unforbidden moves).

Theories and personal observations :

Everything here are things that are not official (yet), but that seems to be correct (in my opinion), it is therefore to be taken with precautions.

- All Pokémon seems to have a higher resistance and a better regeneration than Humans or their animal counterpart,

- Even if taste was altered, they seems to be more tolerant to unusual food for their animal counterpart,

- Types advantages seems to be a thing like in the original games,

- Pokémon datas seems to be coherent with what we can see in 7th gen (so for example, Cleffa should be a fairy type),

- Rumors of legendaries Pokémon have shown all across the Internet, but there is actually no evidences that they are a thing,

- Evolution has not been officially recorded for now, so I have no idea if it is a thing,

- Pokemon are the best thing in the world oh my gosh why is everyone screwing everything by fighting each other I just can't stand neither understand it I have to break something right now so I'm gonna end this on this long sentence without even punctuate it at all because na
