April Marigold Shannon and her older brother Spencer live close to Demi Carmelita. Both Demi April met at the start of their first year of high school. They started off as the closest of friends but soon one night would change everything. This is the story of when Demi & April shared their first kiss.

April & Spencer's House

March 26th, 1999

Demi was staying over at the Shannon's place for a sleepover, they had a blast as they watched movies, had some delicious food and played some fun games on the Smega Exodus, Sony PlayStation Minwendu 84. When it came for the 2 to go upstairs to go to bed, they started telling stories to one another.

"The End." Said the young April, finishing her story to 17-year-old Demi.

"Wow, that was a fantastic story." Demi said in amazement.

The two started making some small talk until something just came to Demi's head that made her feel a little embarrassed.

"What's wrong? Are you missing your sister?" Asked April.

"No, not really." Replied the shy Demi, "It's just that, we have been friends since the start of high school, and I think that there's no other thing to say but."

"What is it?" April was starting to wonder what Demi was going to say.

"I. I. I think I'm in love with you." The young Latina fox answered.

This made April shocked, she never knew that her own friend would have a crush on her. Demi looked down like if April wouldn't be too happy to hear what she just said but then felt a hand go on her shoulder.

"You really mean it." April said. "As I love you too. You're the only person that I've known, and you are the most beautiful, kind and most thoughtful person I ever met."

Demi looked at April and the 2 began to lean towards one another, their eye's we focused on each other's and then.

The fox and wolf kissed each other on the lips. Demi would not believe that she would share her first kiss with her lifelong friend. April soon got up and walked out the door to tell her brother the news of her not only getting her first kiss but also that both her and Demi have come out of the closet. Spencer was shocked at first, but then he felt happy for his little sister, the two shared a hug and soon April went upstairs to tell Demi that her brother is happy to hear the news. The two were so happy that on Sunday, Demi told Carmelita the news when she got back to their guardian's home.

Back in 2015, April told the story to William about how her and Demi came out and shared their first kiss.

Now for the time of when Demi April first met in high school, well that would be a story for another time.

Demi is purposely designed to be the opposite of Carmelita. From major details like Demi having black hair, having a rounder body shape and having a peppy personality to minor one's like her beauty mark being on the right side of her face and having an outie belly button.

The idea of making Demi a lesbian was made why back when I created her back in August of 2017. Before all that, April & Spencer weren't even created yet so Demi's lover was going to be a secret.

Demi was named after famous singer Demi Levato. While I was in the town of Newcastle, Co Down I saw a shoe shop with an advertisement for sketchers with Demi Levato promoting them.
