Agent Venom: Agent Venom reporting for duty! Ran into my brother, Anti-Venom, while containing a symbiote outbreak caused by my son, Carnage. Brock and I worked together to defeat him and take his Chaos Emerald, but right after that is when I heard the bad news. Weiss has been kidnapped by Eggman Nega! This HAS to be my fault, and I'll do anything if it means saving her.

Issue 16: Total Mayhem (Part 1)- The Lethal Legion

SHIELD Helicarrier, New Vale City

"Electro? Whiplash? Blastaar? Metal Sonic 3.0? They're ALL working for Eggman Nega?" questioned Peter, discussing recent events with his team, Ruby, Nick Fury, and Eggman in the command deck of the Helicarrier.

Ruby nods with a serious face, "Yeah. They called themselves the 'Lethal Legion'. After they ambushed me and Weiss, they took her and left THIS with me." She throws a card to Peter, "They wanted me to give it to you."

Peter and his team look at the card as a holographic message from Eggman Nega shows up. "Sonic the Hedgehog. Spider-Man. Agent Venom." He greets each of them with eerie politeness, "If you want me to return the Heiress, you must give me the four Chaos Emeralds that you have collected. Take your buddies, Tails, Silver, and the younger Spider-Man, and meet me at my Meteor Base in space. If anyone else accompanies you, I will trap Mobiant Earth in a temporal void. You have one hour to comply." He expresses his ultimatum before the recording ends.

BGM-Mega Man Zero 3 OST-Prismatic (Telos Ver.)

"Heh. He's pretty cocky. Still doesn't explain why he went after Weiss of all people." Sonic scoffs with his arms folded.

"Doesn't matter!" retorted Agent Venom, sounding slightly angry, "She's in trouble and needs our help NOW!"

"It's most definitely a trap. I know Nega! He WON'T honor his agreement." Silver stated.

"We're still going." Peter responded, much to the psychic's surprise.

"Spider-Man?!" retorted Silver.

"Since Nega went to the trouble of telling us where Weiss is, I think we should thank him personally." Peter replied.

"You read my mind." smirks Sonic, pointing at his favorite webslinger. He then turns to face his old nemesis, "Eggman. Have you found out EXACTLY where his Meteor Base is?"

"Just before you boarded the Helicarrier." replied Eggman, interacting with a computer terminal to project a holographic map and the location of the Meteor Base, "It's here, hidden deep with a large asteroid field in outer space, not too far from the planet. I'm sending the coordinates to a SHIELD jet capable of space travel."

"Course, since the X-Tornado doesn't have enough room to traverse everyone in space, especially when we have to come back with Weiss." Tails remarked.

"Fury, I'm gonna need you to hand me the Chaos Emerald SHIELD have." said Peter, gesturing to the SHIELD Director to hand him their Chaos Emerald.

Fury takes out his red Chaos Emerald from his pocket and hands it to the wallcrawler, "Hope you have a plan."

"It's a work-in-progress." Peter quipped.

"But just in case." Fury takes several bomb-looking gadgets from a table and throws them to Venom, "Hold these. They're called Time Bombs, developed by Howard Stark when he was studying Solaris. When thrown, they create a sphere of quantum energy that slows down anything inside it aside the user."

"Thanks, sir. I won't let you down!" said Venom, saluting to his boss.

"We should get going! Time is literally running out!" quips Miles, walking towards the hanger deck alongside Tails, Silver, and Venom.

Before they leave, Sonic and Peter face Ruby one last time before their mission into space. "Good luck out there." said Ruby, sincerely staring at her best friends.

Peter nods, "Thanks. And we'll come home with Weiss. That's a promise."

"Don't blink. We'll be back to annoy Ice Queen together in no time." Sonic jokes with a confident smile, cheering up the huntress. Ruby smiles and embraces a hug with the hedgehog and spider, before they had enough and let go of each other. Ruby smilingly waves goodbye to Sonic and Peter, as the duo catch up with their friends at the hanger deck.

Later at the Meteor Base Zone…

BGM-Sonic Rivals OST-Meteor Base Zone: Act 1

The SHIELD jet lands on a landing pad at the asteroid field outside of the doctor's top-secret complex. The hatch of the jet opens for the heroes as they carefully walk out of it, with Peter and Miles wearing spacesuits that allows them to breathe in space. "There it is! The Meteor Base!" noted Tails, staring at the doctor's complex in the distance.

"Looks just the same as the last Meteor Base I blew up." quips Sonic, recalling one of his adventures involved him and his rivals stopping Eggman Nega at a Meteor Base.

"Then take point and we'll follow." Peter ordered.

Sonic smirks, "Just try and keep up." He races off through the canyons of the asteroid field, with his friends rushing to keep up with him. Badniks are on their path and shoot at the heroes, but their efforts were in vain as Sonic boosts through them at the speed of sound. Tails smashes an Egg SWAT as Silver blows away an Eggrobo, while the Spiders and Venom destroy an army of Egg Pawns with rapidfire web bullets.

"Keep up the momentum! We're nearing the base!" said Sonic, easily avoiding a laser blast from an Egg Pawn Manager's gun and smashing it.

"And once we do enter the base, then what? We're going to give Nega the Chaos Emeralds, 'cause I seem to recall that's what he needs to complete his time machine and reset the timeline?" quips Miles, yanking away a Solid Pawn's shield before kicking through it.

"We know that. We just gotta play it smart and destroy his machine before he can use it. I'm still wondering why he kidnapped Weiss in the first place." Peter replied while swinging through the asteroid field.

'It has to be because of me. It MUST be!' said Agent Venom, blaming himself in his thoughts, 'This is revenge for me stealing the Chaos Emerald from him. He…must have figured out my secret identity, and is using Weiss as a hostage to bait me in handing him the remaining Emeralds. What have I done? I've put her, my family, and the entire planet in mortal danger!' He grunts angrily at himself.

"Venom?" Silver said to get his attention back on their mission, "Stay focused! We're almost there!"

Suddenly, Peter senses imminent danger incoming, "Silver, look out!" and watches the hedgehog get blasted to the ground by a lightning bolt.

"'Bout time you losers showed up! Now the whole world will have a front row seat of me frying each of you into bacon!" mocked Electro, grinning alongside the rest of the Lethal Legion as they confront the heroes.

Enraged and slightly losing control of his symbiote, Agent Venom uses his hands and tendrils to point all of his guns at the villains, "Where is Weiss Schnee?!" He demanded while a jawed mouth forms on his mask.

"Hey, that's my line." Peter joked.

"She is safe with the doctor, unlike you are with us." taunted Blastaar, firing a concussive blast that sends Venom flying across the asteroid field.

BGM-Sonic Lost World OST-Boss Rushes

Blastaar's attack instigated an all-out battle between the heroes and the Lethal Legion. Spider-Man pummels Whiplash with punches and kicks before he was forced to duck from his electric whips. Whiplash smacks the webhead onto a floating asteroid. Peter swiftly recovers and bounces off other asteroids to dodge his whips. "You've never been a challenge to me OR Iron Man, Whippy. Why did Nega bother hiring you for his little team?" mocks Peter, firing web bullets at the criminal.

"For the opportunity to upgrade my armor with his future technology." retorts Whiplash, grabbing an asteroid with his whips to throw at Peter, knocking him out of the air to be ensnared, electrocuted, and then slammed down by the whips.

"Armor that is still MOSTLY based on Iron Man technology! Technology that I've studied in my downtime!" quips Tails, flying near Whiplash and holding his Miles Electric. He hacks into his armor and shuts off his power supply, leaving him vulnerable to a finishing blow from Spider-Man.

"Sucks to be you!" Peter quips while defeating Whiplash with a devastating, webstriking uppercut.

Meanwhile, Miles is alone battling the sinister Electro near power generators. "Glad my suit's insulated, otherwise this'd be a lot more painful!" quips Miles, as Electro tackles him through several asteroids and sends him flying through space. Miles quickly grabs a broken piece of an asteroid and throws it at Electro, then quickly webzips to kick the piece right onto him, but Electro resists and struggles against him. The living lightning bolt pushes back both Miles and the asteroid piece, blasting them away.

"Go back to school, kid. You're out of your league!" mocked Electro, hovering in the air and charging an energy bolt in his cupped hands, then fires it at the young hero.

"Aww, is Electro afraid of getting beat by an itsy bitsy spider?" quips Miles, dodging the lightning bolt with a web zip and countering with web shots to bind Electro in midair, "The Electro of my universe was never able to live down the beatdown!" He webstrikes the energy villain towards a generator.

Electro growls angrily at his foe, hovering over the generator as he absorbs its energy to boost his powers. "Not smart to make fun of your elders, punk!" He fires a deadly onslaught of energy blasts and lightning bolts that covered most of the battlefield. Miles manages to dodge most of his attacks with the full usage of his Spider-Senses and reflexes, while only getting slightly hit twice by his energy while swinging towards him.

"And I'm not afraid to hit an old man while he's recharging his batteries." Miles fires web bullets at the generator, blowing it up and disorienting Electro. "AND you're not the only one who can generate electricity!" quips Miles, knocking out the villain with a super-charged Venom Punch that packs enough force to smash him into the ground, ensuing a large crater upon impact.

Nearby, Sonic and Metal Sonic 3.0 are clashing at speeds so fast that they only appear as blurs. Amidst their clash of Homing Attacks, Metal Sonic morphs his left arm into a cannon and fires a lightning-fast barrage of plasma blasts at Sonic. "Oooh, an arm cannon. Metal Sonic 1.0 doesn't have that." quips Sonic, quickly running away from the blasts. Metal decides to switch it up, flying pass Sonic while firing a grappling hook to ensnare him, "Or that!"

With Sonic caught in his grappling hook, Future Metal Sonic takes a moment to fly around the asteroid field and smack him on everything that looks painful. From slamming him to the ground to smacking him through Badniks. Then he decides to smash him through a large floating asteroid, letting go of the dazed hedgehog as he and the rubble falls down towards a lava pit. Sonic shakes his head to recover and notice that he's about to fall into the lava. "WHOA!" He exclaims in shock and fear. He notices that he's falling alongside the pieces of the asteroid and gets an idea. Quickly, he bounces off the rubble and out of the pit, jumping over a surprised Metal Sonic.

"Hate jumping into a pool without someone trying it out for me!" quips Sonic, delivering a brutal axe kick that damages Metal's circuitry and sends him flying down towards the lava pit. And for good measure, Sonic smashes him down faster with a spinning stomp, bouncing off his head to safety while watching his robotic clone crash into the lava, sinking to its destruction. "In the past or future, there can be only ONE Sonic!" He quipped with a victorious smile.

Only one member of the Lethal Legion is left, and that is King Blastaar fighting the combined forces of Silver and Agent Venom. "TAKE THIS!" shouted Silver, using his psychokinesis to hurl down a large asteroid at the Baluurian. The Living Bomb-Burst easily blasts through the asteroid, blasting the hedgehog in the process. But this gave Venom the chance to webstrike Blastaar, bouncing off his chest while webbing his eyes, and his feet down. With those two well-placed webshots, Flash keeps his target still while unfolding six clips into him.

With a furious roar while enduring his bullets, Blastaar rips the webbing off his eyes and blasts down Venom. Then, the alien king notices Silver meteoring down several more asteroids at him. The alien king flies towards the hedgehog, passing and destroying the meteors along his path before grabbing the scared Silver's entire body and brutally slamming him to the ground.

"Your mind is strong, but the rest of your being will EASILY crumble beneath my heel!" taunts Blastaar, nearly stomping Silver to death if he wasn't yanked away by Flash.

"Stop picking on the little guy. I know I have!" quipped Flash, recalling his past as a bully to little nerds like Peter Parker.

"Bah! Your threats are as worthless as your life!" Blastaar violently blasts the soldier away, nearly killing him. "You have nothing in your arsenal that can stop King Blastaar!" He taunted.

"Maybe not stop, but I have something that CAN slow you down…" quips Flash, taking out a Time Bomb and throwing it at Blastaar, creating a sphere of energy that slows down the terrible alien to a crawl. Flash roars as he charges into the sphere and pummels the alien with everything that he has from his furious punches. He temporarily transforms into his monster form for an extra boost in power, to make sure that Blastaar will stay down after his vicious beating. "Silver! Send him flying!" said Flash, webbing the nearly unconscious Blastaar and throws him at the flying psychic hedgehog.

"With pleasure!" Silver telekinetically uses a large asteroid as a baseball bat, swinging it as hard as he can to smack Blastaar with enough force to send him flying out of the asteroid field, and out of their sights.

BGM End

Agent Venom shrinks down to his normal form while regrouping with his allies. "Good work, everybody. The Lethal Legion have just become the Beaten Baddies. Now let's go walk through the front door and say hi to ol' Eggy Neggy." Peter quips, as the heroes race towards the complex.

BGM-Sonic the Hedgehog 2 OST-Death Egg Zone

The heroes barge into the space station and race through a factory, passing by several giant vats of molten metal and some of Eggman Nega's most dangerous creations. They work together to destroy his strongest Badniks that were in their way, as they are in a hurry to save Weiss and the world from the doctor's diabolical schemes.

Soon, the heroes arrive inside a massive circular chamber with a large energy reactor in the back of the room. Contained inside that reactor is a giant, swirling ball of flames that appear to be Iblis, freed from its imprisonment inside the Sol Vessel. And circling around the heroes, above their heads, are containers embedded in the walls containing three of the seven Chaos Emeralds.

"Look, it's the Chaos Emeralds!" Peter noticed the three Chaos Emeralds.

"And inside that reactor! It must be Iblis!" Silver pointed out the flames.

"That's it?" questioned Flash, staring in awe at the Flames of Disaster.

BGM-Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) OST-Eggman Sends Sonic to the Future

"Took you long enough." said Eggman Nega, getting his enemies' attention while looking down at them from an upper viewing area.

"Well, we had to deal with your little guard dogs." Miles quipped.

"Where's Weiss?" Sonic demanded.

"My, aren't we impatient…" Nega grabs Weiss and holds her by his side.

"Guys!" shouted Weiss, helplessly wearing an inhibitor collar that shuts off her powers.

Sonic and his friends get ready to fight, but Nega gestures them to not move a muscle, "Whoa there, don't move. Now, the Chaos Emeralds…" Left with no choice, Sonic, Tails, Peter, and Miles take out their respective Chaos Emerald. "Place them there." Nega points to four capsules that rises from the ground while Weiss shakes her head.

The four heroes place their Emerald in their respective capsule, before they recede back into the ground. Now, all seven Chaos Emeralds are glowing inside the containers on the walls. "You have what you want, now let go of Weiss!" Venom demanded, glaring at the mad scientist.

Nega smiles evilly at the soldier, "Why are you so angry at ME? After all, you brought this upon yourself…Corporal Eugene Thompson." He sinisterly reveals Venom's secret identity to his friends and girlfriend.

"Say WHAT?!" shouted Peter, completely surprised by this reveal, and he's not the only one. Sonic, Tails, Miles, Weiss and Silver were taken aback in utter shock upon learning that Agent Venom's real identity is the disabled war hero, Flash Thompson.

"Flash…" muttered Weiss, stunned that her boyfriend is bonded to an evil alien symbiote and working with the government behind her back.

"Say it ain't so. You're Flash…You're…Venom?" questioned the stunned Peter, staring at his secretive best friend, who stares down in shame for hiding his secret from them.

Nega smiles wickedly, "I knew of his identity after our brief scuffle at the Savage Land. Kidnapping his girlfriend was the perfect plan to liberate the Chaos Emerald from SHIELD custody and bait you all to my secret base. You all were such wonderful lapdogs. Too bad this is goodbye!" He then presses a button on a control panel next to him.

Suddenly, the Spider-Senses of both Peter and Miles tingle and warns them of the immediate danger. With little time they have left, Peter pushes Agent Venom to safety, as Miles does the same for Silver, mere seconds before a pink force field generates from the ceiling, surrounding the Spiders, as well as Sonic and Tails.

"Huh!? Wha-!?" Tails remarks in total confusion of being entrapped in the forcefield.

"Wha!?" Sonic responded in shock as well.

"SPIDEY!" Venom tries punching the field from the other side, but gets knocked back.

"It's no use. It's too powerful for any of you to overcome. This is a system that distorts time and controls fate, the Solaris Prototype!" Nega introduces them to his time machine, which causes Weiss to gasp in shock. The futuristic doctor laughs and pulls a handle on a nearby control podium, "You shall end up…AT THE BOUNDARIES OF TIME!"

Suddenly, the Spider-Men, Sonic, and Tails are sucked upwards by the machine while each of them scream, "WHOOOOOOAH! AHHHHHHH!" The forcefield disappears along with the four heroes, leaving their friends in despair at what they just witnessed.

BGM End

"Sonic…Tails…Spider-Men…" said Silver, stunned in awe and despair while believing his friends were just killed.

"No…" Agent Venom collapses to his knees in total despair, angrily punching the ground while silently blaming himself for his idol and friends' apparent demise.

Weiss leans against the window in misery while Nega tells everyone, "Rest assured…They're not dead…yet. They're just been teleported by my glorious invention to a temporal void, one that they will never escape from."

BGM-Sonic Generations (3DS) OST-Boss: Big Arm

Suddenly, a platform appears beneath Nega in the viewing room and descends him through the floor to a mysterious room while he continues talking, "But I am glad that they sacrificed themselves to spare you two. I need to kill time while my machine powers to the maximum and is ready to DESTROY this timeline and remake it to my liking."

Then, rising within the chamber to face Agent Venom and Silver is a large, round semi-humanoid mech made of golden metal, with black stripes and a transparent piece of red glass on the chest, revealing gears inside it. The mech also has a head resembling Eggman Nega, and with a semi-circular appendage on top.

"Time is up, gentlemen! Your fates are sealed by the NEW MASTER OF TIME!" proclaimed Eggman Nega, laughing maniacally in his new Egg Chronos mech as it wields the stolen Chronoblade, confronting Silver and Agent Venom to a final battle that'll decide the fate of their whole timeline.

BGM-Sonic Adventure 2 OST-2-Player Select

KFX Here: The heroes are in a pickle now. Agent Venom's secret identity has been revealed, as he and Silver are the last line of defense to stop Eggman Nega from conquering all of time. The final battle begins next time, folks!

Dragen slayer: Cinder would have served NO purpose in the previous chapter. That chapter was establishing a new rivalry between Agent Venom and Anti-Venom. And Cinder is back at Central Francisco dealing with her own problems. She doesn't live in New Vale or dating Brock anymore.

superjoeyf721: At most, Knull will be subtly referenced in the remake. Sooner or later, I'll probably have an entire saga dedicated to Knull. And regarding a potential remake of Un-Gravitified Web? NEVER HAPPENING! I only remake stories that I personally feel are greatly flawed and would want to try again with better ideas. Un-Gravitified Web is literally the plot of Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, just with Spider-Man, Venom, and Cinder's group added into the mix. I have little issues with that story, especially since it's a story based on a racing game. Short story or not, I'm not wasting my time on that story since there is nothing for me to add or desperately want to change.
