TIMESKIP-NEXT DAY
Josh's POV
School again today. Honestly, it's so boring. OH! Also, there's been a new development in the cases of the freaks. They aren't just mutated lizards or bulls. They can be smarter, and more humanoid. Cinema security cameras caught footage of a human-girl like creature making towers of something fly up around her, to protect herself from the lizard thing. She was probably working with it anyway.
Timeskip- 1 hour later
I rushed into homeroom, quickly knotting my tie. I rubbed sleep out of my eyes and sneezed.
"Bless you" someone muttered.
Percy and the rest of his friends are chatting at the back of class. I felt kind of bad for Leo. The poor kid was surrounded by couples and he was alone. Oh, no, wait. A girl had come up and started flirting with him. Leo leant forward on the desk and smirked before flirting back, with just as much intensity. I saw Hazel narrow her eyes at the girl, but she caught herself and turned back to her boyfriend. Odd
Leo's POV
So, I did a thing. It did not work. Story of my life. This girl came up to me in homeroom today and started flirting with me. I knew Hazel was watching, so I cozied up to the girl. I was trying to make Hazel jealous, but it did not work. She just carried on talking to Frank. The girl was cute though, so I carried on talking to her. I threw in a bit of Spanish for added effect. I mean, at least a pretty girl talked to me.
Frank's POV
I really wish Leo would stop flirting in Spanish. Does he even know the effect he has on me? He is just so cute. Hang on. Back up a second. Did I just call Leo cute? He is an attractive person sure, but there are absolutely no un-platonic feelings between us two. I am totally, completely, 100% straight. Obviously. The school bell rang, so we need to go to first lesson. We had English first. Bye!
