Ruby-

It's the day. I talked to Yang as she said that she would have an outfit for me to wear on my bed after lunch. The movie is at three so we're gonna head out at two. Damion made lunch, it was a soup he called ramen noodles. While it was delicious, I couldn't help but worry. I went into my room to put the clothes Yang had set out for, but I wasn't expecting this.

"Yang!" I yelled.

"Yeah Rubes?" she said walking in.

"What are these?" I asked gesturing at the clothes I was wearing. I wore a yellow crop top that showed my belly, a red jacket, and black leggings.

"I was gonna wait until your birthday, but now seemed more appropriate," she said with a smile. "You look good in them, that's for sure."

"Really?"

"Yes, you are still my adorable little gay sister," she said before closing the door.

I looked at myself in the mirror and thought that I guess I did look good, but I still thought that I looked like a fish out of water. I went down and Blake was wearing a red skirt, a purple shirt, and a black shaw. When I saw her my mind just went blank.

"Hey Ruby, you look nice," she said.

"Thanks, um you too," I said breaking the trance that I was in.

"Have fun you two, I'll keep Yang in check," Damion said from the couch watching some forging show.

"Shut it," I heard Yang say from the chair. "Just don't get too frisky with my sister."

"Let's go," Blake said, offering me her arm. I took her hand and we walked out.

A few seconds later and I felt a change in my grip. I looked down to see that our fingers were interlaced again. I leaned my head on her shoulder as we walked. When we entered the movie theater I saw Uncle Qrow at the snack bar. We gave Mary our tickets and went over and then I realized that I was still holding her hand.

"Hey kiddo, what would you like?" he asked in a tone that surprised me. I then realized that his scroll was on the counter and a message from Yang. He was being nice on purpose.

"A large popcorn Qrow," Blake said. "Also I would like a large coke."

"I would also like a large coke," I said.

"Sure thing," he said. I watched as he added extra butter and salt even though we didn't pay for it. Our larges were also rang up as mediums.

"Enjoy the movie," he said with a wink.

"Thanks uncle Qrow," I said as we entered the actual theater. It was empty except for the two of us. When the movie started no one else came in.

"I guess it's just the two of us," Blake said looking over at me. Because the theater wasn't very big, they just had couches and recliners, we took one of the smaller couches. "So, what movie are we watching?"

"It's a ninja one," I said.

"Oh, nice."

We then sat in silence as the movie went on. It was about a ninja who fell in love with a warrior from an enemy group. There was a point when the two were about to be killed by their tribes when a golden dragon took the warrior, and a black wolf took the ninja and brought them to a place where they built a great kingdom. At the point when it looked like the ninja was about to be stabbed I hid my face into Blake's side as she placed a hand on my head.

"That was a good movie," Blake said as the credits rolled.

"Yeah, let's go," I said.

"Hey, um wanna get dinner while we're out?"

"Sure." We exited the theater and Qrow looked over at us.

"How'd you like the movie?"

"It was good," I said.

"Good, glad you enjoyed it. Have a nice day," he said as we left.

"I didn't think he would be there," Blake said.

"Yeah, I forgot that he was paying off a debt he owed," I said.

"Well, let's just be glad that he isn't at the restaurant."

"Yeah."

We went to the only true restaurant and I got a salad and Blake got a fish soup. While we were walking back I stopped right before we got to the door of the house.

"Hey Ruby, everything ok?" Blake asked me.

"Yeah, I just wanted to do this before we went in," I said as I grabbed her face and pressed my lips against hers.

Blake-

….

What just happened? Ruby stopped before we got to the door of her house and now she's kissing me?

She pulled away and looked at the ground saying, "I'm sorry if it was bad."

"No, it-it wasn't. It was just surprising," I said as I broke away from the trance. I then heard a small noise. I listened to what sounded like two people talking, I then heard our names and realized that Yang and Damion probably just saw that. "Let's just go in," I said.

"Yeah."

We walked in and not only were Yang and Damion in the living room with the tv on, but Qrow was also there.

Hey, if it isn't the two lovebirds, how are you?" he asked.

"Good," Ruby said.

"So, what did you do after you left the theater? I got a message from an old friend of mine who says you were by the hotel," he said with a raised brow.

"We were at the restaurant," I explained.

"All right, just checking," he said chuckling.

"So, do anything on the way back?" Yang asked.

"No," Ruby said.

"Are you sure?"

"Yang, I swear to Oum, I will cut your goddamn hair," Damion said.

"Come on Damion, let me have some fun," the blonde complained.

"No, now, after what happened earlier, Ruby you shower now, Blake I'll tell you when you can leave the room," he said.

"What?" I asked him.

"I want to talk to you in our room," he said, getting up.

"Alright."

"So, I guess it's time I tell you," he said sitting on his bed.

"What?"

"So, Qrow and Yang were both at the window. I went over to yell at them and we saw it."

"I guessed so, I heard you telling them to not do something," I said.

"Ok, just wanted to let you know, I think the water has stopped. I guess a quick shower," he said.

"I'll be in there for a bit," I said as I opened the door. I looked and at the entrance was Ruby who had her shorts on, but seemed to have forgotten her top in her room quickly turning into petals and disappearing into her room. "Nope," I said, closing the door.

"What?" he sighed.

"She forgot her top," I said.

"Well, I guess you're even," he said lying back on his bed.

"You are the worst," I said, copying him.

Damion-

Well, this is gonna be fun. We were all in the living room, Yang on the recliner, I was on the floor, Qrow took the other recliner, while Ruby was lying on the couch with her head on her new girlfriend's lap. We were watching tv when the front door opened and we looked to see Tai was back.

"Hey, what happened while I was gone?" He asked.

"Um not much, hey Qrow, can you help me with that?" I asked hoping he realized what I was getting at.

"Huh?"

"Yeah, I'll help too," Yang said, grabbing her uncle.

"Wait, what?" he said as we left.

We went into the kitchen and stayed in there listening to Ruby and Blake explain to Tai what had transpired between them. When they were done talking there was a moment of silence until Tai finally said something. We couldn't hear what it was but could tell that it must have gone well when Ruby told us we could go out again.

"So, how'd it go?" Yang asked.

"Well, I'm slightly surprised, but I think it'll be fine, but now I guess I should tell you who I met and are coming over tomorrow," Tai said, taking Yang's seat.

"Who?" Ruby asked. "I must know!"

"Well, I was surprised when she approached me, I guess Yang and I are too similar," he said laughing.

"Oh, if it's who I think it is I would understand," I said.

"Huh, who is it?" Blake asked.

"Well, the ice princess did say she would stop by at some point," I said.

"Dad, did you meet Weiss?!" Ruby asked.

"Yep, didn't expect the girl to just approach me and when she did I thought I was either going to get attacked, or ridiculed."

"Well, with Weiss either would be possible," Blake said.

"Ah, the ice queen's little sister," Qrow said. "Probably just like Winter."

"I don't think Winter would do most of the things we did," Yang said.

"Especially the clubbing," Blake added.

"What?" Tai asked.

"Don't worry, we never brought Ruby along," Yang said.

"Tai, remember that we did it too," Qrow said.

"I guess if Ruby never went it's fine," he sighed.

"So, who wants to play a game?" I asked. We then heard a low growl as we ran out to see Noble with what seems to be three packs of beowolves, and four alphas. "I guess it will have to wait."

Those who had weapons on them immediately went out, while Blake and Qrow had to grab theirs. I quickly took out Reaper and sliced into the first three I could reach. I heard a few shots and watched Yang shoot past me into a beowulf.

"Shadow Rose!" Ruby yelled at me. I then turned and we hooked our scythes together. I threw her at the farthest alpha and she pulled me with her, I then cut the grim at it's head and she did at its midsection.

"Cat and Wolf," Blake yelled as she came from the house. I then ran at the same beowulf she was and while she left a shadow behind, I held it in place with my tendrils. The clone exploded and the grim went still. After a few more minutes we took down the grim that had come up to the house.

"That was strange," Tai said.

"Yeah, almost like when my uncle's forge was attacked," I said remembering the night.

"Hey, you ok D-man?" Yang asked.

"Yeah," I said blinking a couple times.

"You sure, your face is very pale," Ruby said.

"Sorry, just remembering a few things."

"Let's go inside," Blake said, taking me by the shoulders.

"Want anything to drink?" Ruby asked.

"Tea, any herbal blend will be fine."

"You mentioned the attack before," Yang said. "What happened?"

"This would be something better told when we get back to Beacon. I'll tell you then."

"Ok, but just know we aren't pressuring you," Blake said.

"Thanks," I said.

"Here," Ruby said as she handed me a cup of tea.

I slowly drank it as everyone else talked and when I was done I went up to the room and went to sleep.
