A week later, at 6:30 in the morning, I was up reading to myself the same book that I rented with Ki. So far what I've heard about our baby is that, for one, it's a boy, and two, it'll be born in 5-7 months. What is unknown, is wether or not the baby will have yellow or green fur.

After hearing all that, the baby's name is Adam Thorndyke-Upton.

After reviewing what I've read, I got my clothes on and went to Ki. "Ki, wake up," I whispered.

Ki woke. "What is it?" she asked.

"Well, I got more information last night from Tails," I answered. "For one, he told me that the baby is male, which means his full name is Adam Thorndyke-Upton as we've agreed."

Ki looked confused.

"We've agreed on that a week ago," I said.

"Oh," she replied. "I did forget. Is it morning already?"

"Yes," I said. "Get up and find something to wear for today, so we can eat."

Ki got up and got her long nice purple dress on. Then she got her shoes and gloves on as well, but she had some trouble with her gloves.

"Let me give you some advise," I said. "You might want to keep those gloves on your hands while you sleep like I do. That way, it'll be easier to get ready every morning."

"Okay, G.K., I will," Ki told me.

We went to eat breakfast. At the table, we saw that Cream is already there. We were waiting on five others. "Got more information for your baby coming?" Cream asked.

"First, we know it's a boy," I answered. "Ki and I already agreed on Adam Thorndyke-Upton as his name."

"Have you two been learning how to take care if children?" Chuck asked. "I understand the circumstances of the baby, so you both can still keep him."

"Yes, grandpa, both of us have been," Ki answered.

Then we began to eat. During the time, I heard others come down. The only one looking at both of us with a 'really' look is Knuckles. I know he obviously disaproves with the behavior of both me and Ki.

"This isn't echidna behavior," he told us. "Not healthy to be wearing anything all over the fur."

"Knuckles," I said as I stood up. "You, Ki, Sonic and I, have been past this, more than once."

"Come on. You guys wouldn't be wearing any less than I am," Knuckles insisted. "Or Sonic, or Tails."

"We need to talk," I said. "It's true that me and Ki need to get used to being who we are, but what we need is some help."

"I am helping..."

"No you aren't. When you were at your home, did you strip others your kind naked when they were wearing clothes?"

"In Angel Island, well, you're right. I saw some others wear something. I knew they were comfortable that way."

"Well then, an echidna wouldn't make another uncomfortable at all."

"I know that."

"That is why I bought Ki more clothes. I made sure it was right fit for her size. I knew she's comfortable wearing clothes like I am. Right Ki?"

Ki nodded in agreement.

"Okay, you guys win," Knuckles said. "Just keep each of you comfortable, okay?"

Then everything was settled as I got back to eating. During the time, I got a flashback of myself a few years ago, when I first met Ki around a couple years back. It was her uncle who set up a blind date between me and her when my mom took me to work. I also remembered that in a couple of weeks, we fell in love with each other.

After Ki and I got done eating, I asked, "Ki, would you like to go to the backyard and sit?"

"Sure, why not," Ki answered.

We both went outside, to sit near the pool. When we sat, I said, "Ki, we've been together for about a couple of years. I was wondering..."

"What is it?" asked Ki.

"Ki, I was wondering if, when we're both 18, would you marry me?"

"I would love to marry you."

Then we gave each other a kiss.
