A/N: Hey guys we're back and here we follow Luigi through his first solo quest and it'll follow an old-time classic game boy game.
'Mario, where am I?' Luigi's voice asked as the battle in the Mushroom Kingdom appeared in his mind reminding him of their fight with Bowser. Luigi groans 'Damn it I knew we shouldn't have gotten involved in this mess. Rather we should have never went down that pipe. '
"Are you saying you were okay with the people of the Mushroom Kingdom suffering? Or you were okay with that huge army that came to invade New York?" asked a voice that was similar to Luigi's.
'No not like that it's just' Luigi tried to think of an argument but whatever he wanted to say died in his subconscious.
"Listen I know it's scary and difficult but you have to pull through like I did."
'What do you mean?'
"It doesn't matter just pick yourself up your brother is already starting his quest."
Luigi struggles as he opens his eyes slowly. The vision is rather blurry with colours mushing against one another, after a few seconds Luigi's vision unblurs and the colours no longer mush. He sat up on his bed stretching his arms "Your finally awake" shouted a woman's voice causing Luigi to look on the side seeing an adult woman whom seems middle aged, she has long brown hair that stops a few inches away from the end of her neck and blue eyes. Her attire consists of an orange dress that has stitches all around it and black shoes "If you didn't, I would have finally convinced my husband to throw you out."
"See I told you he'll be fine with our help" said a man's voice. The man was also middle aged he has matching brown hair being short and messy with a matching moustache and beard, his eyes were also blue. His attire consists of a torn orange shirt, torn blue pants and black shoes "He just needed good nursing."
"Yeah, but what will it do for us?" the woman asked sarcastically.
"It doesn't have to be about us we can just help someone and who knows maybe it'll put a smile on someone's face."
"The only face that needs a smile right now is mine!" the woman shouted angrily.
Luigi puts on a nervous smile as he waves his hands "Um guys let's all calm down for a second."
"I CAN'T CALM DOWN!" shouted the woman angrily " NOT WITH THIS SHITTY SITUATION WE'RE IN!"
"Um Orchid please don't take it out on him, he's a simple man" her male companion begged.
Orchid turned around "Douglas how can you be calm about our situation? Aren't you worried about our daughter and our Kingdom? You-" she tried to continue but tears formed in her eyes as she fallen on her knees and started sobbing loudly.
The man named Douglas sighed as he sat down patting her back as she lets her tears out. Luigi gulped down awkwardly while his expression was that of confusion "Um we really got ourselves in a weird situation, right Mario? It kind of reminds me when our parents had fights."
No response is heard as silence greeted Luigi along with the couples noises. Luigi turns around "Mario?" he doesn't see another bed, a hammock that can act like a bed or even his very own brother.
"Orchid please calm down, I know it's hard but be strong for Daisy" Douglas tried to calm her down as she continued sobbing.
"Um excuse me" Luigi spoke getting Douglas's attention.
"Yes?"
"Sorry to bother but where's Mario?"
Douglas shakes his head "Your no bother after all your someone in dare need, but who is Mario?"
"Mario my brother he wears clothing similar to mine except it's red, he's also short and fat, he was with me" Luigi described his brother to the couple.
"Um sorry Mr?" Douglas apologized before asking for the man's name.
"Luigi."
"Mr. Luigi but there was no one with you" Douglas broke it down to the plumber.
"WHAT?" Luigi freaked out as he asked, "Are you sure?" Douglas simply nodded confirming the answer.
"Oh no could he be dead?" Luigi asked getting ready to freak out.
Douglas attempted to calm the man down but a loud noise was heard from outside, getting the trio's attention as they went outside the cottage.
Outside
The yellow golden sand covered the vast dessert that surrounded the village, in the middle of the village a Toad merchant was being harassed by a Gao(Mario enemy) while two Shy guys were overlooking the harassment. "Now Mr. Merchant you would do well to surrender that bag" one of the Shy guys said.
"Please I'm begging you I make my living with this and I'm not dealing with shady stuff" the Toad begged.
"No shady stuff?" the other Shy guy asked sarcastically as he whistled to the Gao making him grab the bag with its teeth tearing it to shreds revealing many power ups "Then what do you call this? I believe Lord Morton Koopa Jr.'s laws were simple no power ups are allowed to be traded among the regular public."
"Damn he's a goner" said a young man whispering.
"No, we really need that Fire flower" cried a woman in a whispered manner.
The trio saw this with varying expressions Luigi's was concern mixed with fear, Orchid's was boredom and Douglas's was subtle anger. 'Oh no Dark army soldiers are here too? I need to hide or else they'll get me' Luigi thought fearfully as his body was shaking out of fear and biting at his very own fingers. Douglas without warning started approaching the scene making Luigi concerned "Wait come back they'll kill you."
"Let him" said Orchid causing Luigi to turn to her "You can't call him back for this's his duty."
Luigi was confused by her comment as he watched on with concern, Douglas had reached the scuffle the Shy guys noticed his presence as they give him dirty looks "What do you want you scrawny puke?"
Douglas without warning kneeled to them "Please have mercy on this merchant for it was me who requested that Fire flower. Because this village has been suffering cold nights and they need the power of a Fire flower to keep them alive, they won't hurt anyone for they are not trained soldiers."
The Shy guys look at him as they laugh "You think you can talk you way out of this? Even though you're a peace maker the fact that you're the one who requested the power ups makes this an attempted rebellion on Morton Koopa Jr.'s rule."
"Indeed, Emperor or I should say former Emperor" the other Shy guy said.
"What? Why did they call him that?" Luigi asked.
Orchid sighed as she spoke "He's the rightful ruler of this land called the Sarasaland empire and I'm his Empress."
Luigi looked at her with a surprised look on his eyes "Really? Then why are you guys here? Shouldn't you be fighting against the Dark army as they took control over this land?"
"We can't because they have seized everything from us" Orchid grimly answered as she looks down with tears falling from her eyes "Not to mention our beloved Daisy is their hostage."
Luigi looked down as his hat casted a shadow on his eyes, he clutches his fists as he turns around at the scuffle's direction. He walks slowly towards the group getting Orchid's attention "What are you doing?"
"I'm repaying the kindness he showed me" Luigi simply answered, he approached the group getting the Shy guys attention.
"Who is this now?" the first Shy guy asked bothered.
"You leave these people alone or I'll wreck you" Luigi threatened.
The Shy guys looked at him momentarily before breaking down in laughter "You're really out of your mind, aren't you?"
Luigi simply picks a Fire flower up, alerting them as the second Shy guy turns to the Gao "Attack him!"
The Gao roared as it breathed fire at Luigi's direction as it directly hit him, causing Douglas, Orchid and the village inhabitants to scream in terror. The fire hit Luigi directly but suddenly it turns green getting the Dark army confused as the green fire attacks them head on burning them, the smoke where the Gao's fire hit subsides as Luigi stood in his fire form getting gasps from everyone. The first Shy guy sits down showing fear "Who are you?"
"I'm Luigi Mario the younger twin of the Mario brothers" Luigi answered.
"What? Impossible Lord Bowser got rid of you guys" the second Shy guy cried out as he sat up "You're just a pretender!" he yelled as he got up charging at Luigi, the green plumber didn't move as he simply generated a green fire ball on his palm as he threw it at the Shy guy making him yell out from the burning pain, the other Shy guy looks at Luigi with fear as he turns to the Gao.
"What are you waiting for? Attack!" the Gao roared as it started running at Luigi jumping up with fire in its mouth, Luigi crouched down opening his palm generating green fire as he jumped up the two met mid-air as the fires collided.
A blinding flash shined causing everyone to look away, until it subsided Luigi and the Gao landed on opposite directions. The two stood in their places as the Gao suddenly whimpered as it had fallen to the side, the Shy guys see the angry looking Luigi as they scream and run away.
The people of the village stood silently as they started to cheer for their hero "Luigi! Luigi! Luigi!"
After the celebration was over Luigi returned to the cottage with Douglas and Orchid as they sat down on the table. "Please Sir Luigi allow me to thank you once more on behalf of the villagers" Douglas said with gratitude.
"No, it's alright after all I did what I should have done" Luigi replied nervously despite the fact he enjoyed this popularity.
Orchid looks at Luigi with a questioning gaze "Say Luigi how can you absorb power ups?"
Luigi turned to her as he scratches the back of his head nervously "I honestly don't know myself" the answer had made the couple fall back on their backs anime style before getting up immediately.
"You mean you lived your entire life in this world not knowing about this?" Orchid asked with confusion as some of her rage also made it to her voice.
"Um actually I'm not from here as I'm not from this world" Luigi answered.
"What?" both asked surprised.
"I'll tell you now so please calm down" Luigi answered as he began his tale.
Sarasaland palace
The throne of the Emperor was currently being occupied by non-other than Morton Koopa Jr. the big mouthed Koopaling was laying down on it having a comfortable look on his face "ah I can get used to this" he mused to himself as he was ready for a nap. Suddenly the doors were slammed open alerting the Koopaling as he freaked out and fallen down on the floor "Damn it."
"Apologies Lord Morton" the red Koopa troopa began as he watched the Koopaling readjusts his position on the throne.
"This better be important to disturb my nap" the Koopaling seethed.
"It is Lord Morton" the Koopa revealed, Morton gestured for the Koopa to continue "Ahem our scouts in Birabuto Kingdom had reported the finding of Luigi Mario."
Morton shot up from his seat "WHAT?"
"It is true for he was able to absorb the Fire flower and even defeated a Gao swiftly."
"Get rid of him now! Sent out a squad of killers out for him" Morton ordered.
"Um Lord Morton while this's a good idea but shouldn't we contact Lord Kamek?"
"No, we don't have time and well we got an Empire consisting of four Kingdoms here and he's just one Mario brother."
"Yes, I'll sent word to the Birabuto Kingdom now."
Back to Luigi
Luigi finished telling his story to the couple as they absorbed the information "I can't believe it you actually fought Bowser?" Orchid asked to which Luigi nervously nodded to.
Orchid looked down as she slowly approached Luigi "Um Mrs. Orchid?" he asked confused he got his answer as the woman suddenly began choking him while shaking back and forth.
"You could have defeated Bowser and finished this whole mess instead you fucking lost and we're still in this mess because you and your brother wasted a very good chance!" Orchid yelled as she continued chocking Luigi while Douglas tries to stop her.
Luigi fallen flat on his ass as his head spins with dizziness before he shakes his head "Thanks for your hospitality but I need to leave."
"Leave!" the couple yelled out surprised.
"Yeah, I need to find Mario and quick" Luigi revealed.
"Sir Luigi while I understand your eager to find your brother we really need your help here" Douglas spoke trying to negotiate with Luigi "You have the blood of the legendary Marco in your veins, a blood that that can help us get Sarasaland back."
Luigi gulps down fearfully "Um listen I understand you guys are in trouble but even though I'm supposedly related to some legendary guy I'm just one guy I can't go against an entire Empire."
The couple were about to convince Luigi more but another noise is heard, quickly the trio rushed outside being greeted by a pack of Gao's who looked ready to kill. One in particular stood out the most being the leader whom is a gigantic Gao with a meaner look than the others, he roared "Where is Luigi Mario?"
Luigi was struck by fear as he backed off, but the Gao glared at him as in a moment he jumped up tackling Luigi down to the ground making the plumber scream out in fear. "Yes, it's you Luigi you match the description we were given a tall man with a moustache wearing green clothing and blue overalls. I'm the governor of this Kingdom King Totomesu and I'll burn you to ash."
Everyone shook in fear but Douglas glared as he approached the duo, Totomesu looks at the former Emperor whom keeps his glare "King Totomesu we meet again traitor."
Totomesu chuckles "Ha rich hearing that from you weakling."
"Weakling?" Douglas asked "I remember a time when you wanted to defeat me in a battle, you were a beloved governor why? Why did you join the Dark army?"
Totomesu laughs loudly "Do you really need to ask that? Bowser is strong and soon he'll conquer the entire globe he's far stronger than you and unlike you he isn't held back by feelings."
Luigi watched the interaction between the duo as he attempted to escape only to be bitten by a Gao who snuck behind him, Luigi yells out in pain as he holds his ass running around trying to lessen his pain, Douglas and Totomesu look at Luigi with disappointed looks "Sir Luigi I can't believe you, you were actually attempting to escape."
Totomesu didn't look pleased as he gritted his teeth in anger "Are you really one of the Mario bros? Because of you are then I'm disappointed, I personally came here to fight you after hearing about that legendary battle you had with King Bowser and hearing that half of the bros is here made me excited but it appears I either overestimated you or you're the weakling" he spat in disgust "Well in that case your of no threat" he looks at his pack "Attack the village for it's transgressions against Lord Morton Koopa Jr."
The Gao's roared as they began chasing the villagers and destroy their homes, Douglas and Orchid look at Totomesu with rage "How could you do this?" Orchid yelled "I may be able to understand you reasoning for seeking the strong but you were never like this."
"Indeed" Douglas agreed "What happened to the kind ruler who saw everyone as equals?"
Totomesu laughed loudly "Equals? Please these stupid humans are inferior species to us the mighty Gao's."
Luigi looks around him seeing the fear and chaos, he was scared and escaping sounded more attractive than before. Thus he turned around ready to go but the screams of terror behind him stopped him, he tried to silence them but they keep screaming 'No, I can't I'm just one man, I need to find Mario he would know what to do.'
"So, you just running away?" asked the voice that spoke to Luigi before causing the plumber to look around for it's source "Can you look at yourself in the morning after this?"
"They'll be fine I just need to find Mario and then-"
"What made you confident they'll be alright let alone alive after this" the voice interrupted Luigi to scold him "I told you before you need to pull through even cowards like you can save lives."
Luigi sighed as he turned back, the couple continued their verbal battle against Totomesu until "Enough!" they turned around seeing Luigi looking pissed.
Totomesu chuckles "Eh your still here? I thought you ran away chicken."
Luigi looked up glaring at Totomesu's eyes "Stop this attack now! Or I'll force you."
Totomesu looks at Luigi for a moment before laughing "You think you can defeat me? Don't think just because you suddenly turned one eighty you can even stand up to me."
"You cam for the Mario brother and he's in front of you so stop this attack, I'll not repeat myself" Luigi said in a low threatening tone.
"Okay" he roars loudly as the Gao's stop attacking the village and began to circle Totomesu and Luigi "Let's have a fight."
Luigi breathed in deeply as a memory of a younger him and Mario stood on a barricade cheering which only hardened Luigi.
The two stood in front of one another before Totomesu roared as he jumped up sharpening his claws as he attempts to tackle Luigi to the ground. The green plumber jumped to the side as Totomesu landed on his feet, he then ran towards Luigi as the plumber again jumped upwards before the Sphinx tackled him. Luigi lands on Totomesu's head giving him an axe kick making Totomesu roar in anger as he covers his head from the pain, Luigi capitalizes on this as he rushes towards Totomesu charging up a kick only for the Sphinx to draw his claws hacking at the leg making Luigi cry out from the pain as he falls on his back clutching his scratched leg in pain. Totomesu smirks as he breathes out fire towards Luigi "LUIGI" the people yell out for the plumber to get out of the way, their cries reached Luigi as he turned around avoiding being burned.
Totomesu laughs as he looks at Luigi getting up despite his struggle "Incredible this's what I expect from a Mario bro, but I'm still stronger than you" he roared jumping up attempting another tackle Luigi thought about jumping but his injured leg wouldn't allow him so he decided to take a risk, he crouched down as he breathed in pulling his fist back.
"Idiot what are you doing?" Orchid yelled "Get the hell out of the way."
Luigi ignored her, Totomesu was just about to tackle Luigi only for the Mario bro to launch his fist directly at the Sphinx's jaw making Totomesu fly up as he had fallen down on his back-losing conciseness.
The people were silenced as they watched what had accrued seeing the Gao King fall down on his back. The Gao's looked angry as they were about to attack Luigi but stopped as they roared in pain holding their heads as they too lost conciseness.
Luigi looks rather confused at what had happened "Um something wrong with them?"
The people look as confused as Luigi, suddenly grunts are heard as Totomesu gets up scaring everyone as he looks around "What happened? Where am I?" he notices Luigi and the villagers turning back slightly confusing him further "Who are you green man? Hey why is everyone scared of me?"
Douglas approached the Sphinx carefully "Totomesu what are you saying all of a sudden?"
Totomesu kneels before Douglas "Your Majesty what's going on?"
Orchid approaches the Sphinx "You seriously need to ask that? You attacked this village after joining the Dark army."
"W-what?" Totomesu asked confused, as the other Gao's woke up being as confused as their King.
"I can explain" Luigi said getting the Gao's attention. After a while Luigi's leg has been treated while Totomesu and the Gao's were told about what happened.
"Damn it" Totomesu cursed "I can't believe I was in league with the Dark army they more than likely brain washed me along with the Gao's I'll never forgive them for using us as their puppets."
"Easy old friend we just got you back" Douglas tried to calm Totomesu.
"No! it's not just me but Dragonzamasu, Hiyoihoi and Biokinton are also brainwashed like me, we must save them and Princess Daisy."
"Daisy!" Orchid cried out as she approached the Gao leader "How's Daisy? Where is she?"
"She's fine or I would like to think that, she's imprisoned inside the dungeon and would be forcibly married to Morton Koopa Jr. to finalize the Dark Kingdom's control over Sarasaland."
Orchid looks down as she covers her face "No my beloved Daisy" she starts crying for her daughter.
Luigi looks at Totomesu "Can you get the other three Kings back to normal?"
Totomesu shakes his head "No, they must be defeated like I was but it won't easy since unlike me who likes a good challenge, they are more conserved in their palaces letting their underlings do the work. Not to mention we don't have much time since the wedding will be held in about three days."
Luigi sits down thinking 'From what I understand Totomesu and the other three are responsible for the four territories that make Sarasaland along with Douglas's territory. It's quite a powerful nation but the Dark Kingdom found ways to infiltrate it and turn the rulers of the four territories into minions we could get them back by defeating them but as Totomesu said they aren't easily provoked meaning we have to start wars with them but we only have this territory while they have four not to mention we don't have much time. Unless' Luigi looks at Totomesu "Um Totomesu are you invited to the wedding?"
"Yes" he answered.
"What are you-" Orchid was about to yell at Luigi but Douglas stopped her.
"Then let's attend it" Luigi revealed.
"Um excuse me?" Totomesu asked.
"I said let's attend this wedding and stop it by defeating Morton Koopa Jr. meanwhile we can also fight the other Kings and get them back to our side."
Totomesu, Douglas and Orchid took thinking posses as they nodded to one another "Yes, this appears to be our best option" Douglas spoke "I have to say you have quite a good mind Sir Luigi."
Luigi scratches the back of his head nervously "Thanks it wasn't really a complicated plan to come up with."
"Stop you idiocy and let's get to work" Orchid said as they all nodded and began to plan their next move.
Day of the wedding, Sarasaland main palace
The palace's plaza was filled with the inhabitants of the 5 Kingdom built Empire as they are attending the wedding between Morton Koopa Jr. of the Dark Kingdom and Princess Daisy of Sarasaland. The beings ranged from the Yurarin and their leader Dragonzamasu, the Tokotoko and their leader Hiyoihoi and finally the Pionpai whom their leader didn't resemble them being a giant cloud named Biokinton. Finally, the Gao's arrived as they drag around the wedding cake that was put close to the platform where the couple is supposed to give vows to one another.
Inside one room of the palace Morton Koopa is being dressed by tailors as he has a groan on his face "Do I really have to get married?"
"Lord Morton it won't be an actual marriage" the Magikoopa assured him "It'll just be long enough for us to fuse Sarasaland into the Dark Kingdom."
"But I don't wanna, why can't Dad do this instead? I mean he's already planning on marrying the Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom like he can just make her a second wife" Morton argued.
"Um it's a bit hard to explain this to a youngster but you'll understand one day" the Magikoopa left it at that making Morton sigh more.
Meanwhile in another room a young beautiful woman was sulking she has long silky brown hair and blue eyes, her dress was a pearl white wedding dress. She looked at herself in the mirror defeated as she let's out a sigh "Princess it's time" said a Goomba making the woman sigh again as she's dragged.
In the platform Morton Koopa stood with a mourn on his face wishing he could be anywhere but here, soon the piano is played as the wedding attendees stood up welcoming the bride to be. The bride was being led by a Chargin chuck until they reached the platform where she stood a few inches away from the Koopaling, the Magikoopa coughed gaining attention to himself "Dearly beloved we are gathered here today to overview the union of Morton Koopa Jr. Prince of the Dark Kingdom and Daisy Princess of Sarasaland" he introduced the couple to be while also revealing the identity of the bride, he continued his proceedings until he reached the line "If there are any objections speak now or hold your peace."
"We object" a group shouted getting the attendees attention coming from the Gao's making the brainwashed inhabitants as well as the Dark army confused as the cake explodes revealing Douglas, Orchid and Luigi soon the Gao's and the humans with them opened the presents they brought being nets that captured the Dark army as well as the brainwashed inhabitants of Sarasaland.
Luigi points his finger at Morton "This wedding is finished."
Daisy felt happiness for the first time seeing her parents as well as Totomesu being back to normal 'Mom, Dad everyone I'm so glad but who is this guy?'
"Who are you?" Morton asked as if he read Daisy's mind.
Luigi holds the tip of his hat as he smirks "I'm Luigi Mario."
"What? How are you alive? Totomesu-" Morton asked as he was to explain until it dawned on him, he looks over to the Sphinx-like creature "You broke free?"
"Aye and it was partially thanks for my desire for challenge and mostly to this man Luigi Mario" Totomesu answered "I got a bone to pick with you treating me and my fellow Gao's as puppets."
Morton smirks as he gets his wand out "Finally something better than a wedding, like what's the reason for me to get ma-"
"Ahem" the Magikoopa coughed "Lord Morton we were passed that an umpteenth times already and we must proceed to ensure the Dark Kingdom's glory" he brought out his own wand as the nets burst to flames "Stop this resistance!" he ordered as he used a magic circle to float himself and the couple.
"Yes master" the brainwashed inhabitants of Sarasaland said at the same time as a group of zombies.
Luigi looked scared as Hiyoihoi threw a giant rock towards his direction only for the rock to be engulfed by flames from Totomesu "Sir Luigi we got this, go and stop the wedding."
Luigi nodded as he began his chase jumping up on the castle to get to the floating trio.
Totomesu turned around as he jumped back from being crushed by Hiyoihoi, as he breathed a fire ball burning the giant rock like monster as he screams in pain, Totomesu jumps up ready to tackle Hiyoihoi but chickens hit him making him fall, he looks up seeing Biokinton launching chickens at him as he avoids them which makes him open for a rock throw from Hiyoihoi. Totomesu falls yelling out in pain Biokinton was about to launch more chickens but they were shot by sword slashes, Totomesu smirks seeing Douglas with his trusty sword drawn as he slashes again hitting Biokinton making the cloud yell out in pain.
Hiyoihoi gets another rock ready to throw at Douglas but Totomesu launches a fireball at him making the golem scream "We're even" Totomesu said smirking at Douglas whom simply smirks back.
Dragonzamasu was being attacked by Orchid whom launches her missiles at the seahorse making it angry as it shoots fireballs in retaliation which are avoided easily by Orchid since he and his people are basically inside tanks limiting their mobility. Meanwhile the Gao's and Humans were dealing with the lesser fry's.
Luigi meanwhile continued jumping on top of the castle as he finally jumps up on top of the circle ready to axe kick the Magikoopa, the Magikoopa gets angry as he uses his wand to create a force field around them, he looks back to the couple "Now let's continue were we left off do you Daisy-" he was interrupted as Luigi's axe kick shattered the force field while his foot dug deeply on the Magikoopa's head making him pass out.
Daisy and Morton screamed loudly as they were falling down the former closed her eyes from the terror she may be a tough girl but even she knows she'll more than definitely die if she had fallen from this height but suddenly something dives down catching Daisy in its arms bridal style as it successfully lands on its feet, Daisy opens her eyes slowly seeing Luigi being her saviour "Are okay Princess?"
"I'm okay, you can put me down now."
"Yeah sorry" Luigi nervously apologized as he put the Princess down, a huge shockwave is heard alerting the duo seeing Morton Koopa get out of his shell.
"Take this" he yelled out sending projectiles from the wand at Luigi only for them to be nullified confusing Morton "How?" he asked which gave Luigi the window to jump up and land on Morton's head making him gasp "How yo-" he attempted to ask again only for Luigi to punch him making him back off, Luigi pulled his fist back as he launched a perfectly timed jump punch launching Morton upwards knocking him out cold.
Daisy witnesses this with widened eyes until she noticed some sort of sparkles around Luigi that disappeared, Luigi looks around his body as he pinches himself "Aw, few good thing the Starman power up lasted this long for me to win" he commented praising his luck.
"Wow" Daisy said looking at the plumber.
"Daisy oh Daisy" Orchid came crying hugging Daisy sobbing "Oh are you alright? Did these scums of the Dark Kingdom touch you in a bad way?"
Daisy struggles to speak but managed to get herself some room "Mom I'm okay really, I'm a tough girl."
"Still it was pretty no scratch that really dangerous" Orchid argued as Daisy sighs, the mother and daughter soon dispute over the situation while Luigi looks from afar.
"They're at it again" Douglas's voice said as he appeared behind Luigi supporting a smile.
"What happened to the fight?"
Douglas chuckled "We won and the other three Kings are back to normal as well as the citizens long story short we won and kicked the Dark army out of Sarasaland."
"ho" Luigi let out as he brushed a bed of sweat that formed on his forehead "Glad this whole mess is over."
"Well not really even though we saved Sarasaland we still need to heal the damages" Douglas revealed.
"Oh, trust me this's way better than fighting bad guys for my own life" Luigi said.
A few days later inside the throne room of Sarasaland
The four Kings were gathered along with the guards, while Douglas and Orchid now dressed in their regal clothing sat on their thrones with Daisy being by their side wearing her orange dress. Luigi kneeled before them as Douglas got up "Bothers and sisters citizens of Sarasaland for a long time now we were under control from the Dark Kingdom as they stripped me and my wife from our titles, stripped the four Kings of their free will and finally attempted to strip my daughter our Princess of her life" Douglas said as he looked at Luigi "But it appears destiny hasn't given up on us for this man Luigi Mario came for our assistance and saved us as well as Sarasaland from doom" he gets up taking a medal "So, in honour of his efforts I hereby reward Luigi Mario with this medallion of honour and heroism please accept it."
The crowd clapped their hands as Luigi was given his medallion, the celebration is stopped when the doors slam pen revealing a soldier whom kneels "Forgive me but we have an urgent message."
The crowd gasped as they began whispering amongst themselves "Is it about the Dark Kingdom?"
"Yes and no" the soldier said, "We have received a call from the prince of the Bonneter Kingdom and a man named Mario Mario."
Luigi got up "Where is the phone?"
The soldier turned around as Luigi and Douglas followed him until they reached the video room where they saw Cappy and Mario, Luigi ran as he grabbed the microphone "MARIO!"
Mario covers his ears from the loud yell that created a feedback that also effected Cappy "Luigi please calm down."
Luigi smiles nervously "Yes, I'm sorry it's just I'm really glad to see you again."
"I know Luigi I'm glad to see you to" Mario said before asking "What are you doing here?"
"I found myself here and you weren't with me" Luigi revealed.
"Ahem I'm sorry to ruin this meeting between brothers but can I speak to Emperor Douglas?" Cappy asked.
Douglas approached taking the mike from Luigi "Yes, it's me I'm glad to hear from you Prince Cappy after all I heard that even though your Kingdom put on a great front you had fallen."
"Yes, the same with you rather me and Mario were on our way here to save Sarasaland since we're going to need that military prowess" Cappy revealed.
Douglas chuckled "Thank you and I really appreciate this honestly but thankfully Sir Luigi here saved us I mean no offense but I doubt you and Sir Mario could have came in time to stop the forceful wedding between Morton Koopa and my daughter."
"No ne taken for I too doubted since we heard about it but thankfully Luigi happened to be there to save the day" Cappy said.
Luigi looked at them "Alright then come Mario we can be together now."
"Um sorry Luigi but I can't come not yet" Mario said grimly causing Luigi to be sad.
"But why?"
"Luigi there are Kingdoms out there that need us and we must cover a lot more ground" Mario revealed.
"Yes, with Sarasaland by your side we would like you to free some neighbouring Kingdoms, that is if the Emperor doesn't mind of course?" Cappy ordered before asking.
"I don't mind for the Dark Kingdom's oppressions must stop so we'll split and most than likely meet you at the Mushroom Kingdom."
Luigi looks down scared "Luigi?"
Luigi looks up "Mario do we really have to remain separated? I'm scared without you being with me."
"Luigi I'm sorry, but you have proven yourself without me. So, be strong for a while longer and let's make a bro promise that we'll meet again in the Mushroom Kingdom."
Luigi sighs "I bro promise."
Mario smirked as he wished his brother luck. It'll be a bit longer before the brothers reunite.
A/N: Done, I can't tell you how much I feel like I copped Mario out during his first solo chapter compared to Luigi's. Anyway, Douglas and Orchid are oc's by me being Daisy's parents and the rulers of Sarasaland the former is named after a tree and the latter after a flower.
