As both Jack and Yuna continued to race around the track, some purple clouds started to gather above the stadium and Leo looked up at the sky and said, "Oh man, I don't think the forecast called for creepy purple clouds." And Yanagi looked worried as he said,

"Oh no, it's a sign that the crimson dragon will appear."

Meanwhile in Godwin's office, Godwin said to Lazar, "Look Lazar, soon the crimson dragon will appear and we can try to harness its power." And Lazar smiled at Godwin as he replied,

"It certainly seems like things are going just as you have predicted sir, but we still don't know who the fifth signer is."

Godwin smirked a little at Lazar as he said, "It's alright Lazar, I already know who the fifth signer is." And Lazar looked at Godwin and said,

"That's good then sir." before he then realised what Godwin meant as he quickly added, "Wait what? You know who the fifth signer is? Tell me and I will have a team right away."

But Godwin shook his head as he said, "It's quite alright Lazar, I will handle the fifth signer."

Back on the track, Jack Atlas said, "It's my move Yuna, and I'll show you why I am the king!" before he then added, "I draw! First I'll activate the trap card sneaky explosives! during each of my standby phases you take 500 points of damage for each monster I control. Then I'll set a monster face down. Battle! Red dragon archfiend! Attack Lunalight blue cat with absolute power!"

And Yuna groaned in pain as she lost some life points, before she then said, "It's not over yet Jack! I still have plenty of duel left in me!" And Jack smiled at Yuna as he replied,

"Let's see if you still have that attitude after my next turn! I end my turn. You better make this turn count Yuna because next turn I will finish you!"

Yuna then said, "It's my turn, I draw!" and Yuna carefully looked at her cards in her hand before she added, "First I'll play the speed spell Speed storm from my hand! As long as I have 2 or more speed counters I can deal you 1000 points of damage to your life points!" And Jack groaned a little in pain as he lost some life points before Yuna then continued, "Next, I'll change Panther dancer to defense mode! (DEF 2500) Then I end my turn."

Suddenly there was a loud roar in the stadium as the Crimson dragon appeared, and Jack smiled as he said, "It's about time you showed up, Crimson dragon, watch as I prove that I am worthy of your power!" And Yuna looked a little worried as she sad to Jack,

"Jack, things are getting dangerous. We should stop before someone gets hurt!"

And Jack looked at Yuna as he said, "Come on Yuna, you're telling me you got this far and that we should stop? Don't you have any guts for when the going gets tough!" Before Jack then added, "This duel isn't over yet! It's my turn, and I intend to finish you!"

But just as Jack was about to make his move, Godwin stood in his office as he said, "Now with the power as the fifth signer, let me show you your future!" And a weird light filled the stadium, both Luna and Yusei gripped their arms in pain, and Akiza also gripped her arm in pain, Jack's arm also began to glow and they found themselves dueling on a light bridge as Yuna looked around a little in confusion before she said to Jack,

"Where are we?"

Jack just simply replied, "Beats me, but it still doesn't change the fact I will end you this turn. first my trap card Sneaky explosives! You take 1000 points of damage since I control two monsters." But Yuna was ready as she countered,

"I don't think so Jack! I activate my trap card, Trap Jammer! This negates your trap card and destroys it so my life points are safe!"

And Jack smiled as he said, "Your life points may be safe for now, but your field isn't! Battle! Red dragon Archfiend! Attack Yuna's panther dancer with absolute power!" But again Yuna was prepared as she countered,

"Not so fast! I activate the trap card Negate attack! This card negates your monster's attack and ends the battle phase, so my Panther dancer is safe and sound."

Jack then let out a huff as he said, "You may have survived this turn Yuna, but I will make sure that your next turn will be your last. I end my turn."

Both Yuna and Jack then rode up what looked to be a temple of some kind with some people standing around it, and Yuna could see they all had a mark on their arm just like Jack as she said to him, "Jack, these people have a mark just like you." And Jack simply replied,

"Of course, Godwin said the mark of the Crimson dragon had been around for hundreds of generations, but did you forget? It's your move Yuna, I'd make it count if I were you."

Yusei, Akiza and Luna were floating above Yuna and Jack and they could see the Satellite, before Yusei gasped as they saw a mark appearing over the whole Satellite. Before Yuna said, "It's my turn, I draw!" She then carefully looked at her cards in her hand before she added, "From my hand I activate the spell card Lunalight perfume! This card allows me to special summon Lunalight monster from my graveyard, welcome back Lunalight Blue cat!"

Then Yuna continued, "Blue cat's effect activates! When it's special summoned I can double the ATK of one of my Lunalight monsters on my field, I choose Panther dancer! (ATK 5600) And Jack looked a little surprised as he said,

"5600 ATK?"

Before Yuna then said, "But I think I will trade my Panther dancer for something that has a little more fire power, because I activate Lunalight fusion! I fuse my Panther dancer with my Lunalight Blue cat and the Lunalight Black sheep in my hand in order to fusion summon a new monster! Give a warm welcome to the feline who wields the strongest blade! I fusion summon Lunalight Leo dancer! (ATK 3500)" A purple glow then appeared around Yuna as she added, "And with the arrival of my Leo dancer Jack, this duel is over! I have three reasons why I cannot afford to lose 1. Find the person responsible for the Arcadia incident 2. Get my revenge on those who have caused me pain and suffering 3. Find the person who told me to never give up and repay them. Battle! Leo dancer attacks Red dragon Archfiend! Roaring slash!

And Jack groaned a little in pain as he lost some life points, before he said, "Nice move Yuna, but I'm afraid you have no more monsters who can attack me!" But Yuna countered,

"My battle phase isn't over Jack! Because Leo dancer can make a second attack!"

Jack looked shocked as he said, "What?" And Yuna smiled as she said, "Go Leo dancer! Take us home with Roaring slash!"

After the duel was over, Jack crashed onto the track and Yuna put the breaks on her duel runner and taking a few deep breaths before she removed her helmet and ran over to Jack as she said, "Jack! are you ok?" And Jack looked up at Yuna as he weakly replied,

"You got what you wanted Yuna, you're the new champion!"

Before he then lost consciousness as some medical staff soon rushed over to him, meanwhile the MC in the stadium broke the silence as he said, "She has done it folks, we have a new champion and the newly crowned queen YUNA WINDROSE!" And a few spotlights shined on Yuna as some of the crowd cheered her but a few of them also booed her as well.

Meanwhile in Godwin's office, Lazar panicked as he said, "Jack lost! What do we do now sir? Is it ok that Jack lost?" And Godwin smiled as he calmly replied,

"It doesn't matter who won and who lost, the important thing as all of the signers have been gathered."

Yuna was still a little in shock after hearing that she won and was the new champion, before the others soon ran over to her as Leo said, "Yuna! That was awesome! You're the fortune cup champion! Everyone is calling you the queen of turbo duels!" and Yanagi pointed at the group of incoming reporters before he said,

"I'm afraid we have bigger things to worry about right now, if we don't leave soon then Yuna will have to face her toughest enemy yet. The media!"

Then Yusei nodded his head as he said, "I agree, let's get out of here guys!" And as the media knocked over the barricade and started rushing on to the track, Yuna ran with the others out of the stadium and into a underground tunnel. And Luna was walking next to Yuna as she said to her,

"I-I don't know how, but I saw you and Jack dueling, and Yusei and Akiza were there too. And...I also saw the Satellite being destroyed. What was that we saw?"

And Yuna looked back at Luna, unsure herself about what she saw in that light, so she replied, "Really? Honestly I'm not sure what we saw in that light, but if what we saw is true then I get the feeling something bad will happen and soon."

Meanwhile...

Some people wearing black robes were sitting around a table with a few candles lit on it, when one of them said, "So, it looks like Godwin has assembled his signers, I think it's time we made our move. Let's see if these signers have what it takes to battle the shadows. Ha Ha Ha!" before he then added, "Our web is already woven, and is deep with many threads."

The others around the table then all let out a laugh of their own, before one of them then said, "All we need to do now is wait, it won't be long before we catch ourselves a fly."

Later...

Yuna and the others were busy staying inside some type of abandoned building, Yanagi drew a picture of the Crimson dragon on some paper on a table before he said to the others, "Now I'm no artist but the Crimson dragon looks something like this." And Yuna and the others looked at the picture before Yuna gasped in shock as she said,

"Look, the head looks like the same one Yusei has on his arm."

Then Leo looked at the picture as he said, "Yeah, you're right, and the claw thingy here looks like the same one Yuna has." Before Yanagi smiled and said,

"Well, it is said that the wings, head, claws and tail of the Crimson dragon was split into five separate parts and has been given to many different signers for many generations."

Suddenly, Luna fainted and Leo caught his sister and everyone else looked concerned before Yuna said to everyone, "Luna is probably exhausted, she should get some rest, it's been a rough day for all of us." And while Leo and his sister were getting some rest along with Yanagi and Spike, Yusei walked over to Yuna who was looking out of a window as he asked her,

"Remember anything about your past yet Yuna?"

And Yuna smiled a little at Yusei as she replied, "I've only managed to remember one thing about my past so far, and that is I used to be in some kind of band because I found a guitar in my garage in the stadium and it felt familiar to me as if I had played something like that before, but nothing else yet." And Yusei smiled a little back at Yuna as he said,

"Well, at least some of your memories are coming back to you Yuna, I'm sure that the rest of your memories will come back to you eventually."

Yuna then let out a little yawn before she said, "Yeah, I hope you're right Yusei, anyway I better get some rest as it's been a long day." And as Yuna went to get some rest, Yusei saw someone standing outside with a mark on his arm that was glowing, so he decided to follow him. But when the figure saw Yusei, they began to run and Yusei chased after them as he called out, "Hey, stop running! are you the fifth signer?"

But the figure continued to run into what looked like a parking lot, and when Yusei finally caught up with the figure he said, "Who are you? If you're not the fifth signer then what do you want." And the figure finally spoke as they replied,

"I am a shadow drone, and my master says if you want the answers you seek then you will have to challenge me to a duel!"

And Yusei grit his teeth and readied his duel disk as he said, "Alright buddy, if it's a duel you want then it's a duel you'll get!" And the shadow drone laughed as a purple fiery ring surrounded them before he then replied,

"I'll go first, and from my hand I summon blizzard lizard in attack mode! (ATK 600) Then I'll set one card face down and end my turn."

Yusei then scowled at the shadow drone as he said, "It's my turn, I draw!" And Yusei carefully looked at the cards in his hand before he added, "I summon Speed warrior in attack mode! (ATK 900) Battle! Go, you have the green light Speed warrior, attack blizzard lizard with hyper sonic slash! And on the turn Speed warrior is summoned his attack is doubled! (ATK 1800)"

And the shadow drone groaned a little in pain as he lost some life points, before he said, "Blizzard lizard's effect activates! When blizzard lizard is destroyed by battle, you take 800 points of damage to your life points!" And Yusei groaned a little in pain as he lost some life points.

Meanwhile, Carley Carmine was busy driving along the road of New Domino City when her editor yelled her, "Carley! where the hell is my coffee? I asked you over an hour ago!" And Carley sheepishly replied,

"S-sorry sir, but I think I may have found a huge story!"

And Carley's editor said, "Interns don't find stories, they get my coffee and that's it! This story better be good or else you're fired!" And Carley sheepishly replied,

"I-I'm not even getting paid, but the story I am chasing is a conspiracy at the Fortune cup! Godwin has to be hiding something."

Then Carley's editor looked a little surprised as he said, "Godwin? Well if you can find some dirt on him then you might still have a job waiting for ya." And Carley smiled a little as she replied,

"Thank you sir, I won't let you down!"

Before Carley's machine in her car said, "Duel disk energy located." And Carley looked at the reading on the screen as she said, "That's strange, the reading normally isn't that high, I better check it out." Before she then began driving towards the source of the duel energy.

Back at the duel, the shadow drone said, "My turn, I draw! and from my hand I summon blizzard lizard in defense mode! (DEF 1800)" And Yusei looked a little shocked as he said,

"Another Blizzard lizard?"

Then the shadow drone smiled as he said, "That's right! And next I'll use the spell card Ice mirror! With this card, I can summon another Blizzard lizard to the field! Then I think I will set one card face down and end my turn."

And Yusei said, "It's my turn, I draw!" and Yusei carefully looked at the cards in his hand before he added, "I summon the tuner monster Junk synchron! (ATK 1300) Then my Junk synchron will give Speed warrior a little tune up, even the tiniest scrap has value I synchro summon Junk warrior! Then I activate the trap card graceful revival! This card allows me to special summon a level 2 or lower monster from my graveyard, welcome back Speed warrior!" Then Yusei continued, "Junk warrior's effect activates! it gains ATK equal to the ATK of all the level 2 or lower monsters on my field, the power of fellowship! (ATK 3200) Battle! Junk warrior, send his blizzard lizard to the scrap heap, Scrap fist!"

The shadow drone then said, "Thanks to blizzard lizard's effect, you take another 800 points of direct damage!" And Yusei groaned a little in pain before he said, "I'll set one card face down and end my turn."

Carley then made her way to where Yusei and the shadow drone were dueling, when she said to herself, "That's odd, why would Yusei take part in a underground duel?" Before she then got her camera from her bag and held it in front of her face as she said, "Umm this is Carley Carmine, reporting to you from some kind of parking lot, but the story I have is that umm the finalist in the Fortune cup Yusei is dueling some guy in his bathrobe?"

Then the shadow drone said, "It's my turn, and from my hand I summon the dark tuner catastrogue by tributing my blizzard lizard! but that's not all because next I activate the call of the haunted trap card and revive my blizzard lizard!" And Yusei looked a little shocked as he said,

"A dark tuner?"

And the shadow drone smiled as he said, "Now, I'll use blizzard lizard to make a dark synchro summon! I synchro summon negative 5 frozen fitzgerald! (ATK 2500)" And Yusei looked shocked as he said,

"A dark synchro monster? How am I going to beat that?"

A/N: Dark forces seem to be making their move in New Domino City, and Yuna is the new champion of New Domino City after defeating Jack Atlas in the Fortune cup, I know this chapter didn't have any moments between Yuna and Akiza but don't worry they will get their moment to shine. Will Yusei be defeated by this Shadow drone? Or will he get the answers he is looking for? Find out next time.
