You all maybe wondering why this chapter was soo quick compared to my normal updates. Well, see it as a sorry for the long update from the last one, so this might be a bit rushed. Anyway, hope y'all like this chapter and here we gooo!
"The Vytal Festival!" Weiss exclaimed in excitement as her team walked up behind her.
"Oh this is absolutely wonderful!"
"I don't think I've ever seen you smile this much Weiss." Ruby admitted with a her hand on her hips. "It's kinda weirding me out..."
Weiss was about to retort as a two people walked in.
"oh, you should see when it's christmas, her smile could rival mine, or the grimch, when we do our christmas tradition." Sans says as he walked up to the group with Carnes behind him.
"Wait..." Ruby turns to the comedian. "She has a Christmas Tradition?!" Sans nods in a sign of yes. "yup, let's just say she si-"
"UP UP UP! Nope! None of that!" Weiss interrupted her brother, before he went further on what he said. "aww... sis, you're really embarrassed about that?"
"No! I just don't want to talk about it!" She clears her throat. "Anyway, I'm glad that you have made it, Sans, and Carnes as well." The heiress added with a smile.
In response, the two nodded. "Of course, you told us so." Carnes says with a chuckle. "yep."
The heiress sheepishly smiled. "Y-Yes! I want you two to experience this as well! Along with my team, of course!" She raises her finger to the sky. The group just looked at her with a raised brow.
"Like I said, you smiling this much, is kinda weirding me out." The black haired teen with red tips admitted.
Weiss turns to the younger teen. "How could you not smile? A festival dedicated to the cultures of the world!" She continues with a smile. "There will be dances, parades, a tournament! Oh the amount of planning, and Organization that goes into this event is simply breath taking." She finished as they started to walk into the festival.
Yang sighs as she crossed her arms. "You really know how to take a good thing, and make it sound boring." The blonde brawler said as they walked.
"Quiet you."
*Hrrrr*
A boat's horn erupted in the distance as they got into the docks.
"Remind me again, why we're all spending our Friday afternoon visitng the stupid docks?" Yang asked the heiress.
Ruby plugs her nose as she got a whiff of raw fish. "Ugh, they smell like fish."
She turns to Sans, who was just standing behind them with his mask on. "Do you have an extra mask on you?"
"nope."
"This really smells." Carnes admits as he covers lower face with his scarf. Sans just shrugs at him.
"meh."
"I've heard that students visitng from Vacuo will be arriving by ship today." Weiss says as they looked at a ship, before turning to the group. "And as a representative of Beacon." She places a hand on her chest. "I feel as though it is my solemn duty to welcome then to this fine kingdom." She explains, before she walks off, her friends follow her.
"She wants to spy on them, so she'll have the upper hand in the tournament." Blake summed up it as her brother chuckles.
"of course."
"Ah!" Seemly attacked by Blake's accusation, the girl in question turned to bow wearing teen. "You can't prove that!"
"that just proves it, sis."
"Shut it, Sans!"
"Woah."
The group walked over to Ruby, to get a better view. They turned to where Ruby was staring at. It was a shop, the entrance was covered in police tape.
"Let's check it out." The leader of Team RWBY says as she walks to the crime scene with the others behind her.
"What happened here?" Ruby asked the detective as they got close to the police tape.
"Robbery." The first detective continues. "Second dust to be hit this week." He explains as he turns, and walks into the store. "This place is turning into a jungle."
"Ah, that's terrible." Yang says as she looks around the area.
"They left all the money again."
"Huh?"
"hmm?"
The two leaders turned to the detectives. "Yeah just doesn't make a lick o' sense. Who needs that much Dust?" The first detective asked his fellow detective. "I dunno, ya know what I mean?
"You thinking The uh, White Fang?"
"Ya, I'm thinking we don't get paid enough."
They heard their conversation. They looked at them with a frown.
"Hmph. The White Fang." They turned to the heiress. "What an awful bunch of degenerates."
"What's your problem?" Blake asked, a little irritated at the white haired teen's attitude.
"My problem?" Weiss turns to the black haired teen. "I simply don't care for the criminally insane." The heires explains with a wave of her hand at the girl's face as she looks away.
"woah, that's a bit much, don't ya think?"
Before Weiss could respond to what her brother said. "The White Fang is hardly a bunch of psychopaths." The bow wearing teen says at the heiress. "They're a collection of misguided faunuses." She crossed her hands in irritation.
"Misguided?!" Weiss exclaimed in shock. "They want to wipe humanity off the face of the planet!" She retorted.
"So then they're very misguided." Blake turns away from the heiress. "Either way, it doesn't explain why would they rob a Dust shop in the middle of downtown Vale."
"Hmm." They turned to their leader. "Blake's got a point."
"yeah, they maybe misguided as you say. they aren't crazy enough to rob a dust shop, with all these people here." Sans added as he looks around. "that would be a hindrance to their plan on equality." Blake nods, agreeing with the white haired teen's statement.
"Yeah, besides, the police never caught that Torchwick guy I ran into a few months ago..." Ruby looks at the store as her friends did as well. "Maybe it was him."
"He might be crazy enough to rob one here, according to news lately." Carnes says with a nod of his head.
"That still doesn't change the fact that The White Fang are a bunch of scum." Weiss rudely says with a cross of her arms. "Those faunuses only know how to lie, cheat, and steal." She lets go of her arms as Blake glares at her.
"woah, that's a bit much, don't ya think?" She turns to her brother. "what about velvet? she doesn't do those things."
"That's because you helped her before, that doesnt you know on what she does on her free time." Weiss retorted.
"i've talked with her team before, and they have said, she doesn't do anything other than being a shy person, and doing her work." Sans shot back at his sister, now a bit irritated at his sister's behaviour. "Well... She might've paid them to say that!"
"no, she wouldn't have, you've seen on how she reacts to stuff. you should know better."
The heiress thinks for a moment at her brother said. Before sighing. "Okay... There might be a tiny bit of faunuses, that don't do those things." She admits as her brother smiled behind his mask. "But that doesn't change that most faunuses are scum."
"That's not necessarily true." Yang says.
Before anyone could respond, they heard a shout of. "Hey! Stop that faunus!"
They turned to see a boat, they ran to near the shore as they saw a someone running away from two people on the ship. Before getting on the side of the boat.
The person in question was a teen boy, who wore a white jacket, that was buttoned up, he had no shirt, revealing his muscular physique, a blue pants, that had a chain hanging off it, yellow, and black shoes. He also wore a black fingerless gloves with a red wrist bracer over it. Also a yellow monkey tail on his behind.
"Thanks for a ride, guys! Hehe." He thanked the crew as he jumps off, and lands onto the pier. He gets up quickly, before running away, then jumping up.
"You no good stowaway!" One of the crew mates yelled at the faunus.
The faunus in question was hanged off a lamp post with his tail wrapped around it. He also held a banana.
"Hey! A no good stowaway would have been caught!" He shouted back at the crew mates as he peeled off the banana. "I'm a great stowaway."
He moves his head as a rock was thrown at him. He looked down, and saw the two detectives from before. "Hey, Get down from there this instant."
In response the faunus throws the banana peel onto the detective's face. The detective growls as the faunus gets on top of the lamp pole. Laughing at himself, before jumping off, rolling onto the ground, getting up, and then running away.
The two man started to chase after the faunus.
The faunus rans up to the stairs as he got close, the group could see his blond hair, and blue eyes. He ran past the group, but not before staring at Blake, then winking at her as he ran off.
The two detectives from before run after the blonde.
The group just stares at the three people running off.
"Well, Weiss, you wanted to see the competition." Yang says, before she continues. "And there it goes."
Weiss raised a finger, and pointed at the three figures running away. "Quick! We have to observe him!"
"wow, stalker much?"
"Quiet you!"
Weiss proceeds to run after the three as Yang follows her, then Ruby.
Blake just stared, awestruck on what just happened. Before quickly adjusting herself, and runs off to her team.
Carnes started to run after them, but not before turning to his teammate, who was walking off to the complete opposite direction on where the were going.
"Hey! Wrong way!" He shouted at his teammate.
"i got a shortcut! i'll catch up!"
The gray haired teen shook his head, knowing that Sans will likely follow on his word. "All right!" He shouted before running off.
Sans chuckles as he walks away.
With Team RWBY
The four girls tried to catch up with the two humans, and one faunus.
As Weiss ran up the corner, she bumps into someone, unintentionally knocking the person, and her down.
Her friends caught up with her as the heiress stared up. The faunus that was being chased quickly jumped off to another direction.
"No! He got away!" Weiss cried out as she knew they wouldn't be able to catch up with the blond faunus.
"Uhhh..." Weiss turns to Yang. "Weiss...?"
Yang points to the girl, that she knocked over. The glyph wielder trailed the blonde's finger, then staring at the person, she knocked over. Awake, smiling, and staring at her.
"Euh!" Weiss quickly got up from the person.
"Salutations!" The girl greeted as she was still on the floor.
The girl seem to be near the ages of the team, she had short orange hair with green eyes. She wore a white shoulder blouse with frill detailed trim, and frill flared cuffs. A short gray pinafore dress with green lines dots on her clothing. There was also black and light green collar around her neck, a pair of black pants that seem to be attached to black shoes, that she wore. The pants have a single green stripe up the sides.
"Umm... Hello." Ruby said, a bit confused on the events that transpired.
"Are you... Okay?" The blonde asked the ginger.
"I'm wonderful. Thanks for asking."
The four teens look at each other for a moment, before turning back at the downed girl.
"Do you... Wanna get up?"
The girl seem to think for a moment, before nodding. "Yes." She quickly gets straight up as the group takes a step back.
"My name is Penny." The girl named Penny introduced herself. "It's a pleasure to meet you!"
"Hi Penny." Ruby greeted. "I'm Ruby."
"I'm Weiss."
"Blake."
"Are you sure you didn't hit your head?" Yang asked, Blake quickly jabs her side. The blonde stares at the black haired teen for a second, before understanding on why she did that. "Oh, I'm Yang."
"It's a pleasure to meet you!"
"You already said that."
"So, I did!" The ginger nodded.
"Well, sorry for running into you." Weiss apologized as they turned to walk away.
"Hey!" They saw Carnes quickly rounding the corner. "Did you gals catch up with the-" He was cut off as he ran past them, and running into Penny.
The two fall down onto the ground. Carnes groaned as he got into a sitting position. "Why do I feel like I ran into something metal wall?" He mutters as he got up.
He looked down at the downed girl, before seemly to reconized her. "Wait... Penny?" He asked as he stared at the girl.
"Oh! Captain Wendigis! It's a pleasure on meeting you again! How's the arm?" Penny asked as she was on the floor again.
"Penny, get up. And please don't call me that, just call Carnes." Carnes instructed the girl.
"All right!" She quickly got up again.
"Wait, you know her?" Ruby asked, a bit out of loop.
"Yes, her father was the one that made my arm." Carnes explained as the younger girl's eyes seem to sparkle. "You mean her father made your robotic arm?!"
"Yep." He nodded as he turned to the girl. "Please, down ask her any questions, she probably doesn't know anything about that anyway." He said to the black haired girl with red tips, who groans in response.
Carnes sighed as he turned back to the ginger. "Why are you here? Plus alone? I believe your father wouldn't allow this." He says.
"Well... I just went on explori-"
"Enough dilly dalling, we need to catch up with that faunus!" Weiss interrupted their conversation. Knowing that faunus is getting away, and she knew that they might not catch him while they talked with the girl.
The gray haired teen sighed, but nodded. "All right. He turns Penny. "You be careful."
"Of course!"
They turned to leave, but not before some said their goodbyes.
"Sorry for running into you, but farewell."
"Take care, friend."
They walked off, and turned the corner, leaving Penny with her thoughts.
The group walked onto the road, while looking around for the faunus.
"She was... Weird." Yang commented as Ruby was asking the captain questions after questions.
"So, when did you meet her?! Why did she call you captain?! How did her father made your arm?! Did he made your weapons too?! Can I meet her father?! If so, when can I meet her father?!"
Carnes sighed as he simply answers her weapons.
"First, I met her when I was at her father one time. Second, she calls me that, because of what I look when I met her. Third, I don't know the answer to that. Fourth, no, I made them myself, barring my arm, of course. Fourth, I don't know. Sixth, I don't know also."
Those last two made Ruby groan. "Really?"
Carnes simply nods. "Yes."
"Now. Where did that Faunus riffraff run off to?" The heiress looks around. "And where is my brother?"
She stops as the group stops also. Suddenly Penny was infront of them.
"What did you call me?" She asked as she stares at the group.
Weiss turns to back to where the ginger once was, then infront of her. She points back, then to Penny, back, and forth.
"Oh, I'm really sorry, I definitely didn't think you heard me." Yang apologized, a little unnerved on how the ginger got infront of them.
"No, not you..." Penny walks past the group, then got infront of Ruby. "You!"
Penny leans onto the girl as she leans back.
"Me?"
"I-I don't know, I, what? I, um , uh-"
"You called me friend." Carnes just stared at her as he sighs. "Am I really your friend?"
"Uummm..." Ruby leans her head to look at her friends, Blake sways her hands back, and forth as a sign of no. Weiss moves her hand back to back as a sign of also no. Yang waves her hand as a sign of no also. She looks at her side, and saw Carnes crossing his hands, before sighing, then nodding a yes.
"Y-Yeah." She looks back at the ginger. "Sure! Why not?"
Her teammates looked at her surprised, then falling down as the captain chuckles at their reactions.
Penny smiles as she raises her hands to the air. "Ahaha! Sen-sational!" She exclaimed as she started to babble. "We can paint our nails, and try on clothes, and talk about cute boys!"
"Ooh, is this what it was like when you met me?" Ruby asked Weiss as she gets up, and dusts her self off.
"No, she seems far more coordinated."
"Was that suppose to be an insult, or a compliment?" Carnes asked the heiress, who simply ignores him.
"well, seems like i'm missing the party." They leaned to the side, and saw Sans walking over to. Them with a half eaten hotdog in his hand, that was drenched in ketchup.
"Sans! Where were you?!" Weiss yelled at her brother as he got closer. "i went to grab a bite." He explains. He then got infront of her. "you want some?" He presented the drenched half eaten hotdog.
She recoiled in disgust. "Eww... No."
The comedian chuckles. "suit yourself." He bites into the hotdog, before eating the whole thing. He turns around, and stared at Penny. "heya, the name's sans, who are you?" He presented his hand for a handshake.
"Oh, my name is Penn-"
*Ptttttthhhhhhhpt...*
A fart sound erupted. "Oh, did you let out a fart?" Penny asked as they let go of each other's hand.
"me? why can't it be you?"
"Oh! I didn't really eat anything."
Sans chuckles at her answer, he showed his palm to her, revealing a deflated pink whoopie cushion. "you anti-ed my joke, huh. hehehe, nice." He winked.
She just winked back. Sans just chuckled at that.
"Soo, what are you doing in Vale?" Yang asked the ginger.
"I'm here to fight in the tournament."
"Wait..." Weiss looks Penny with crossed arms. "You're fighting in the tournament?"
Penny simply turns to her. "I'm combat ready!" She exclaimed with a salute.
"Forgive me, but you hardly look the part."
"Says the girl wearing a dress." Blake commented as Sans nods, agreeing what she said.
"It's a combat skirt." Ruby quickly got next to Weiss with crossed arms as well. "Yeah!" The heiress then gave her leader a low five, to which she kindly accepted it.
"your skirts basically is stylish enough to make it look like a dress. so, your combat skirts looks like a dress." Sans commented as he takes Blake's side. Who nods in approval.
"Who's side are you on?"
"the right side, weiss."
Weiss just growls as she shakes her head, before realising something. "Wait a minute."
She walks over to the ginger. Before placing her hands on the girl's shoulders. "If you're here for the tournament, does that mean you know that monkey tailed... Rapscallion?"
"The who?"
Weiss brings out a crudely drawn picture of the monkey faunus from before. 'when did she drew that?'
"The filthy faunus from the boat!"
"Why do keep saying that?"
"Huh?" The two turns to see Blake walking over to Weiss. "Stop calling him a rapscallion. Stop calling him a degenerate. He's a person!"
"Oh, I'm sorry." She lets go Penny. "Would like me to stop referring to the trashcan as a trashcan?" She jestured to the trashcan next to them.
"weiss..."
"Or this lamp post as a lamp post?"
"weiss..."
"Stop it!" Blake exclaimed in anger as she was angry at Weiss' behaviour at this very moment.
"Stop what?" The heiress raises her hand in a form of a shrug. "He clearly broke the law. Give him time, he'll probably join up with those other faunuses in The White Fang."
"weiss..."
"What?" She turns to her brother. "Am I wrong?"
Blake clenched her fist in anger, she wanted to punch the girl in the face, but instead, she growls. "You ignorant little brat!" She shouted as she turns, before stomping away.
Weiss stares at her in shock, before looking down. But she looks back up, and glares at the black haired girl.
"How dare you talk to me like that! I am your teammate." She walks over to the girl.
"You are a judgemental little girl."
"What un the world makes you say that?"
"Uhh, I think we should go." Yang says as the two started to argue.
"The mere fact that you would sort that faunus boy with the terrorist group-"
"Where are we going?" Penny asked the blonde.
"-solely based on his species makes you just as much of a scoundrel as you believe him to be."
Carnes turns to Sans, he could feel that the comedian was practically frowning behind his smiling mask.
"You okay, bud?"
Sans sighs. "yeah, just disappointed."
Carnes nods, fully understanding on he mean.
"So, you admit it, The White Fang is just a radical group of terrorists."
"That's not what I meant, and you know it." The group diverted their eyes from the scene before them, except for Sans, who stares at the two, frowning behind his mask.
"Well... I think we should be going." The gray haired teen says, noticing the white haired boy's demeanour.
"yeah..." Sans turns to leave. "we do."
He starts to walk away. "nice for you gals to ask join y'all, but it's getting late. and we need to get going."
Yang, Ruby, and Penny nodded as Weiss, and Blake were still arguing.
"Then what do you mean?"
Sans walks away. Carnes turns to the group. "Welp, I, uh... Bye, Penny, don't get into trouble, I'm not getting in trouble just because you got into something bad." He points at the ginger, who nods.
"Of course!"
He waves at the group. "Bye."
"I meant, what I said last time, they are misguided faunuses."
"Bye."
"Bye."
"Farewell!"
The two arguing didn't even notice the two leaving.
Later
The screen shows Team RWBY's dorm room. Ruby, and Yang were uncomfortably standing in the middle of two still arguing.
"I don't understand why this is causing such a problem." Weiss admitted as they argued.
"That is the problem!"
Weiss stands up. "You're realizing, you're defending an organization that hates humanity, don't you?" She asked the black haired teen. "The faunuses of The White Fang are pure evil."
After finishing what she said, and crosses her arms. Blake stands up. "There's no such thing as pure evil!" She shouted. "Why do you think they hate humanity so much?"
"It's because of people like Cardin, people like you that force The White Fang to take such drastic measures!" She exclaimed. "At least your brother has some common sense! He actually tries to make peace with faunuses!"
"People like me?! And my brother has common sense?!"
"You're discriminatory!"
"I'm a victim!"
The two stared at each other for a moment.
"You want to know why I despise The White Fang?" Weiss walks over to the window. "Why I don't particularly trust any faunuses? Especially any faunuses near me, or my brother?"
"Then what about Velvet? Sans is around her, and you don't seem to mind."
"Well, it's because of Sans!" She quickly turned to Blake. "He helped her! And She hasn't done anything bad to him yet."
"So, you don't trust her, you're just waiting for her to do something bad to him?!"
"Yes!"
"Why are you distrusting towards any faunuses?"
"Then let me tell you!"

Staring at the night sky. She takes a deep breath, before starting to explain. "It's because they've been at war with my family for years."
"War. As in actual bloodshed." She continues. "My grandfather's company has had a target painted across its back for as long as I can remember. And ever sinse I was a child, my brother, and I watched family friends disappear, board members executed, an entire train car full of Dust... Stolen." That... That made Blake look at the side for a moment, but quickly kept her eyes locked on the heiress.
"And everyday, my father would come home furious. Sans always tried to get between me, and my father. My mother wasn't around, she was barely around! My older sister... She was sometimes around, but father unintentionally moved her out by getting into an arguement on something, that I don't know what. And Sans... He was always there for me, he's the only thing that kept me going, the only light that I had left. He tried to make me happy, make me laugh, make me forget. even though with all his efforts, it still made for a very difficult childhood." She hits the table.
Ruby walks over, and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Weiss, I-"
"No!" She quickly turns to Blake, making Ruby's hand fall off.
Weiss walks over to Blake. "You want to know why I despise The White Fang?! It's because they're a bunch of liars! Thieves! And murderers!" She got into her face.
"Well, maybe we were just tired of being pushed around!"
That made Weiss step back from her.
Blake looks around at the stunned faces of her team. "...I..." She tried to explained, but it was it short as she didn't know on what to say.
She backs up, realizing on what she just said. She sprinted out of the door.
"Blake! Wait!"
Ruby ran at the door.
"Come back!"
(Stop Music)
The teens just stared at the opened door.
They then heard walking towards their door. "Blake?"
But no. Team SC walked to their door. "What happened?" Carnes asked. "We heard a shout, and Blake running out of the door."
"what's going on?" The two walked into the room. Noticing their stunned faces, and the lack of a certain bow wearing teen. Sans turned to Weiss.
"weiss, what did you do?"

She was shocked on what her brother asked. "Wha-What did I do?! I have n-"
"weiss, what did you do?" She stared at her brother.
"I done no-"
"Weiss Schnee!"
She stepped back a bit, this was the first time, she had never heard her brother say her full name with such... A tone like this before.
"As I asked before. What did you do?!"
"I..." Weiss was lost for words, she had never heard her brother talked to her like this before. "I..."
"Sa-" Ruby was cut off as a someone placed their hand was placed on her shoulder. She turns to see Carnes, who was the one that placed a hand on her shoulder, shook his head to sign for her to not interfere.
"Weiss, Weiss Schnee, tell me! What did you do?!"
"I..."
"Is this because of your grude on faunuses? Or even The White Fang?!" Weiss backed up from her brother. Sans didn't need her to answer, he knew judging by her stance, and expression. "I understand your grude on The White Fang, the only thing I don't understand is that why you hold a grudge on faunus kind?! They might be the ones that the ones that created The White Fang, but a good majority are not even affiliated with The White Fang!"
She didn't respond, he didn't need her to for an answer. Sans then sighed as he puts a hand on his face, he calmed himself down. Carnes walked over, and placed a hand on his shoulder.
The comedian looks at his teammate for a moment, before sighing once again.
"weiss." He said as in his normal voice. Making Weiss a little bit calmer.
"i cannot believe that i'm saying this, but."
He stares at her, directly to her eyes. "i'm actually pretty disappointed in you."
He placed his hand on his face, before bringing up his hood. "i need to clear my head..." He turns to leave, but.
"Sans, I-"
"don't... we'll, we'll talk tomorrow." He walks out of the room.
Weiss was about to go after him, but Carnes placed a hand infront of her. He shook his head no.
"I'll talk with him." He walks off, leaving the stunned team behind, alone with each other, and their thoughts.

Welp, finally got this finished, hope y'all like this. Sorry if you don't think Sans will act like this. I'll just say now. AU, it's probably a bad explanation on my bad writing. The next chapter will be the Volume one finale. Huh, I really come along way. Never really thought I would get here.
