Ash and his friends have arrived in rise town and ash decided to partake in the pokemon marathon held there.He uses charizard and easily wins the competition.As ash got a pokemon egg as his reward team rocket came and tries to steal the egg but ash sends them flying with charizard's steel wing making a hole in their balloon.Then they leave the town with ash going to have a new pokemon soon.

Ash and his friends are currently in a pokemon center as there is raining outside and ash has given his egg to nurse joy for a check up.

"Ahh"screams nurse joy out of the check up room .Ash and his friends go there and see that team rocket is holding the egg while nurse joy and chansey are surrounded by team rocket's arbok and wheezing.As soon as they see the group they say their motto and tell their pokemon to attack but ash sends out mewtwo.Mewtwo grabs the egg from their hand and knocks out their pokemon.Then gary sends out blastoise as it sends them blasting off with hydro cannon.Then the egg hatches in ash's hand and a small blue elephant pokemon comes out.Its a phanpy.as soon as it sees ash it nuzzles itself to ash causing the females in the room to squeal.Ash gives phanpy to nurse joy for a check up and after the check up he tries to capture it in a normal pokeball but phanpy taps its head on ash's heavy ball and is sucked inside causing them to laugh at the baby pokemon's will of choosing its own pokeball.Then they continue on their journey.

The group sees a deliberd trapped in a cage so they go to release it but they are trapped by the rocket grunts.They demand ash and his friends to tell international police to release their boss but ash refuses and sends out mewtwo and saves the deliberd as well as knocks out the grunts.Then they call lance and he brings his g men and takes the grunts away.

Then they see a ninetails which is trapped in a house for 200 years,so they free it and it decides to travel the world on its own.

The trio go to mt.mortar where they meet a tyrogue who doesn't trust humans at first but as gary saves him he then trusts gary and decides to join him so gary captures him using his great ball.(A/N he sends it to professor's lab to spend time with other fighting types)

They are walking near the lake of rage when they hear a loud roar and see five gyarados roaring and also see some former members of team rocket."hey what are you doing"ash yells at them.

"can't you see we are going to use these gyarados to release our boss from the prison and even your mewtwo can't stand against their power,but we can't let you ruin our plan"one of the grunts said and then all the grunts released all of their pokemons.

Ash,Gary and leaf also released their pokemon.

"We will stop you,attack everyone"gary yells and their pokemons fight the grunts pokemon and defeat them.

"hmm..even if you defeated our pokemon we got time to control the gyarados,now hyper beam"the leader of the group said as the gyarados fired hyper beam.

"quick mewtwo protect"ash yelled and mewtwo made a blue barrier in front of them but as mewtwo had already fought so many pokemon so got a little damage.

"damn you,full power dragon breath"all the grunts yelled at the same time.

"charizard/blastoise/venusaur,let our hearts become one,mega evolve"ash,gary and leaf yelled at the same time and a binding came from their key stones and attached with the light from the mega stones of their pokemons and the power of mega evolution actted as a barrier and stopped the attacks and soon all the three mega evolved pokemon stood there.

"overheat,hydro cannon,solar beam"yelled ash,gary and leaf in unison and the three mega evolved pokemon fired the attacks on the gyarados freeing them from team rocket's control.

"we are defeated,retreat"commanded their commander and they were about to escape.

"oh no you don't,venusaur wrap them in your wine vhip"yelled leaf as venusaur held them with its wine vhip.Then ash called the G men over there and they took the grunts away.

Then ash and his friends went towards the gym.
