Later, as everyone ate dinner.

"So, Raven, now that you're no longer bound to destiny, what are your plans for after school?" asked Grimhild.

"I still plan to take over as Queen, it's the only part of my destiny that I wish to keep," said Raven.

"So, I take it that that means you no longer wish to marry that idiot Dexter Charming," said Milton who had been inside when the girls arrived at the school.

"It's not nice to call him an idiot, Grandpa; but yes, and truthfully I never wanted to marry him in the first place," said Raven, taking Apple by surprise.

"You've never liked any boys after all," said Grimhild as she took a bite of her food. This caused Raven to drop her fork as a panicked expression grew on her face.

"I just hope that you let me meet the girl you like one of these days," said Grimhild who had not noticed Raven's change in demeanor.

"Raven," said Apple as she sat next to her with a shocked expression. Without a word, Raven took off out of the room.

"Raven, wait!" said Apple as she took off after her.

"Did Ms. Queen not know about Raven being gay?" asked a worried Grimhild as she just stared at the door.

"No, and you just outed your own daughter," said Milton as he shook his head. Meanwhile, Apple had chased Raven into the garden.

"How many times am I going to have to chase after you?" asked Apple.

"Why did you?" asked Raven without facing her.

"Because we need to talk," said Apple.

"You think I'm weird now, right, you're disgusted by me since we're roommates, right?" asked Raven, her voice cracking as she was on the verge of crying.

"First off, I would never think any of that about you, and secondly, I'm gay too, Raven," said Apple. This caused Raven to look at her finally, tears streaking her cheeks.
