Landon was tall and muscular he had dark green eyes and short sandy hair.
"Come here." He said smiling. They hugged. "It's been a really long time."
"Eleven years."
"Yeah."
"What are you doing back in The States?"
"I'm on vacation for two weeks." "I've never been to LA." "Are you on vacation to?"
"No, I live here."
"How's your family?"
"They're great." "Ann's getting married in a few months."
"That's great."
"How's your mom and your brother?"
"They're good." "Phillip has a wife and three daughters."
"You're an uncle?"
"Yes." "Are you married?"
"Single."
"Me to." "Do you have plans today?"
"No."
"Want to show me around LA?"
"Sure."
Alexandria spent the day showing Landon around LA. At around eight o' clock that night they were at a restaurant sitting down to dinner. Landon was filling Alexandria in on what he'd been up to. He was a record producer for some of the top British musical artists.
"Last year I got to meet Queen Elizabeth." Landon said.
"That's awesome."
"It was great." "I was so nervous."
"I'll bet."
"Do you meet a lot of famous actors?"
"Yeah I've met a lot." "I get nervous to."
"Who were you most nervous for?"
"George Clooney." "It was one of my first jobs when I met him."
Alexandria invited Landon back to her house.
"Wow, this is a nice place." He said.
"Thanks." Alexandria Skype ring went off. "Sorry."
"It's ok, take it."
"I won't be long." She pressed the button to connect and Ann popped up on the screen.
"Hi." Ann said. "I just wanted to check on you."
"I'm fine." "You'll never guess who I ran into today."
"Who?" She said expecting to see John.
Alexandria looked at Landon. "Come here." She said. Ann was shocked when Landon came into view of the camera.
"Hi Ann." Landon said. "Do you remember me?"
"Yes I do." Ann said. "Hi."
"Landon's vacationing in LA for a few weeks." Alexandria said.
"Cool." "Alexandria can we talk a second, in private."
"Sure." Alexandria went into her bedroom and shut the door. "What?"
"Alexandria don't."
"Don't what?"
"Do anything with Landon?"
"Why not?"
"You're still hurting over John." "Having sex with Landon won't make you feel better."
"I don't even know if we're gonna do that." "I'm not hurting over John."
"Bullshit to both things you said." "You are hurting over John and we both know why you brought Landon there."
"I know what I'm doing." "I have to go." "He's waiting for me." She disconnected.
When she went back out Landon was sitting at the piano bench playing some keys. She sat down next to him.
"This takes me back." She said.
"We spent so many hours at the piano in the auditorium."
"I know."
"The first time I kissed you was at the piano." He looked at her. "I should've stayed here with you." They kissed and went into the bedroom.
Afterwards he was holding her.
"Sorry if it was bad." Alexandria said. "It's been five years for me."
"You were great." "I still can't believe I'm here with you right now." "This was the last thing I was expecting."
"Me to."
"So since it's been five years, have there been a lot of people since me?"
"Three."
"I was so afraid of hurting you our first time."
"Well with my being a virgin it did hurt, I thought it was sweet you were so concerned." They kissed. "Wanna stay?"
"Yeah."
"Good." As Alexandria fell asleep that night something felt slightly off. The sex had been great and having Landon hold her while she fell asleep was wonderful, but something just wasn't right.
