After the battle that Ashley has against Josette, she and her Espeon we're walking back inside of the Pokémon Center to look for Ash, Brock and Dawn. Ashley looked over to noticed them were contacting a older woman with fair complexion with blue eyes and hair styled into a bob with a red hair clip, and she wore a white, long-sleeved shirt on the screen as she was holding a gray feline Pokémon with a slender physique. It has a crescent-shaped head with two white-tipped ears in her arms. "Ash, Ashley, Brock, please watch out for her. Dawn will probably cause a lot of problems down the road but..."
Ashley slightly chuckled under her breath as she realized that is Dawn's mother and started speaking in her usual cheerful attitude. "Don't worry about Dawn at all, she's not causing any problems." Espeon nodded of agreement.
Dawn stared at the screen once more and started speaking in a calmer tone. "Stop it. I'll be fine." Dawn looked at screen, smiling at her mother.
Dawn's mother started speaking in her usual cheerful attitude as she was waving at them. "When you say you'll be fine, that when you're the least fine. Both of you, don't forget that, okay? Well then, everyone. Have a great journey. Ash and Ashley, good luck with your Gym matches." Then the screen turned black.
Dawn looked down on the ground with an embarrassment and started muttering under her breath. "Geez, Mom..." Ashley slightly chuckled under her breath.
Then Nurse Joy walked over towards Ashley and the others as she started explained, with a gentle smile. "By the way, Ash and Ashley. Have you finished your registration for Sinnoh League yet?"
Ash began panicking a little while his twin sister Ashley was taking a deep breath. "Oh! I forgot!" Ash exclaimed as he was completely forgotten to register the Pokémon League.
Dawn blinked her eyes a few times as she was getting confused about something and started speaking in a calmer tone. "Registration..."
Nurse Joy took both Ashley and Ash's Pokédex then she put it in the slot and began registration for the both of them. "If you want to challenge one of the League, you need to register in the region in question." Nurse Joy explaining as she was working on the computer. "Ash and Ashley from Pallet Town. Here. The registration is complete." Nurse Joy took out the Pokédex from the computer slot as she gave it back to them.
Ashley and Ash took their Pokeball out of Nurse Joy's hand. "Thank you very much!" Ash exclaimed smiling as his twin sister Ashley was nodding her head.
"Can you register for Pokémon Contest here, too?" Dawn asked curiously at Nurse Joy.Ashley gave her new traveling friend Dawn a small smile on her face.
"You can do it any Contest Hall. You can get a Contest Pass there, too." Nurse Joy explaining to the blue hair trainer, with a warm smile on her face.
Ashley glanced at the moment as she was still thinking about is her battle against Josette not that long ago. "Her Sylevon is really the strongestPokémon and knowing something like the Kalos Region they probably have some strong trainers." Ashley muttered under her breath, as she was pecking through the window screen to noticed Josette chatting to a young girl, who has violet eyes and waist-length blonde albino hair in which she has a purple pin to hold her bangs. She wears a purple long-sleeved vest with fuchsia lines at the end of the sleeves and white buttons along with matching white handkerchief with the buttons attached to the collar of her vest. She wears a simple, deep purple skirt with a fuchsia line that surrounds the whole garment and she wears a pair of dark purple knee-length boots with purple stripes to create contrast with her boots, and compliment her skirt. The rim of her soles are dark purple, while the soles of her boots are black, with a small heel on her boots. Finally she has an some kind of weird earring that's glistening rainbow orb.
Ashley narrowly down to her eye brows to noticed that younger girl's Abosl was wearing some kind of weird necklace. "Ashley!" Ashley snapped out of her thoughts as she turned her direction towards Brock. "Are you alright, it's seem that you were spacing out!" Brock replied giving the young trainer a concerned look on his face.
Ashley blinked her eyes a few times as she placed her hand against her chest. "Yeah, I'm alright Brock! I'm just thinking about something." Ashley exclaimed, smiling at the former Gym Leader.
Brock blinked his eyes a few times as he was getting concerned for his long time traveling friend. Brock has been traveling with Ashley and her twin brother Ash for a long time now within somewhere the last three region. He knows that Ashley was hiding something, for awhile now. Ashley took a deep breath and started speaking in a calmer tone. "Brock, I know you're concerned aboutme right now. Don't worry I'm fine, nothing to worry about!"
Ashley turned her direction to noticed that Nando arrived at the Pokémon Center. "Oh?Dawn." Nando responded with a gentle smile on his face.
Dawn widen her eyes in total shocked as she saw Nando once again and started speaking in her usual cheerful attitude. "Nando!" Ashley slowly waved at Nando with a small smile on her face.
Nando slowly closed his eyes and started speaking in a calmer tone. "We meet again." Nando began walking over to the front desk as Nurse Joy was holding his Budew.
"Nando, Budew is in perfect health again." Nurse Joy responded smiling as she slowly placed Budew lightly on the front desk.
"Thank you very much." Nando exclaimed with a gentle smile on his face as he was picking up his Budew off the front desk.
Dawn stared into Nando's eyes and started speaking in her usual cheerful attitude. "Nando, are you staying here, too?"
"No. I have something to think about. Now then, everyone. Have a good night." Nando exclaimed as he was holding his Budew tightly and began walking towards the entrance.
Ash blinked his eyes a few times in confusion and started speaking in a calmer tone. " 'Something to think about'?" Ashley was biting her lower lip tightly as she watched Nando leaving the Pokémon Center.
"Nando seems interested in both Gyms and Contest. He doesn't know which to choose." Nurse Joy explaining to them after they've watched him already gone.
"Then he should go for Gyms! He's got such a strong Budew?" Ash exulted, pumping his fist in the air in delight.Ashley tries her best not to hold in her laughter.
"No, Contest! The performance battle with Budew was amazing!" Dawn exulted, pumping her fits in the air in delight. Ashley began face palming herself as she watched her twin brother Ash and new traveling friend Dawn having another argument but this time of what Nando should choose.
Ash clenched his fits speaking through gritted teeth. "Then let's have Nando decide right now!" Ashley continued face palming herself multiple times.
Dawn clenched her fits speaking through gritted teeth. "Fine with me!" Then both of them started running off after Nando to ask.
"Great! Here we go again couldn't they just let Nando choose what he want to do!" Ashley exclaimed as she was clenching her fits tightly and getting very frustrated at the both of them.
Brock blinked his eyes a few times in confusion. "It can't be helped." Brock responded as he quickly turned his direction towards Nurse Joy with a flirty look on his face. "Now then, Nurse Joy! Until we meet again! Excuse me!" Brock exclaimed as he started running out of the Pokémon Center leaving Nurse Joy, Ashley and Espeon behind.
Ashley rolled her eyes in annoyance as she watched Brock leaving the Pokémon Center. "I guess we should go after them Espeon," Ashley muttered under her breath as they started following after them.
Then awhile later on when they were searching for Nando, during the night time. "He's not here." Ash responded as he was looking around for Nando once more.
"Where could Nando have gone?" Dawn exclaimed as she was looking around with a concerned look on her face, while Ashley noticed that Ash's Starly and her Ascella were flying towards them nearby the gray rock.
"Starly, did you find Nando?" Ash asked curiously as he watched his Starly shook her head in disappointment.
Ashley slowly took a deep breath as she turned towards Ascella with a small smile on her face. "I'm guessing you didn't find him." Ashley responded, placing her hand against Ascella's head.
"If we can't find after searching for so long, then..." Brock exclaimed as he was crossing his arms over his chest.
Ash took out his Pokeball from his pocket and started speaking in a calmer tone. "Thank you, Starly. Go head and rest." Ash returned his Starly back into the Pokeball. "It can't be helped. Let's sleep here." Ash responded as he was placing his Pokeball back into his pocket.
Dawn widen her eyes in shocked as she heard that they'd would be staying here tonight. "What? We're not returning to the Pokémon Center?" Dawn complaining.
Ash turned his direction towards Dawn with a serious look on his face and started speaking in a calmer tone. "If we start going back now, it'll be morning by the time we get there..."
Ashley glanced at them with a disappointment look on her face and started speaking in a lower tone. "You know none of this happen of you two didn't argue over silly things."
"Sheesh. Why do you always just run off like that without the consequences?" Brock scolding them, crossing his arms over his chest as they've watched Dawn and Ash feeling guilty.
Ashley slowly took a deep breath heavily as she noticed two other people were standing next to them. "Hey, hey! If you're looking for a place the night..." The woman giggled as she was holding her hands tightly.
"...feel free to stop at our inn." The man answered proudly as the two people pointed to the group of the inn. "It's right here!" They've responded proudly.
"There's an inn a place like this?" Ash responded confusedly as his twin sister, Ashley in the other hand was getting suspicious.
"We have delicious food and soft futons!" The woman exclaimed as she was rubbing her hands together.
"And not only that, to commemorate us just opening we're not going to charge you!" The man explaining smiling at the gang while Ashley was biting her lower lip tightly.
"In that cases, why don't we stay?" Brock exclaimed smiling at the two people, as Ashley in the other hand was getting more suspicious then ever.
"Thank you!" They answered proudly as a random Meowth appeared out of nowhere, holding a weird looking capsule on his paws and started speaking in a softer tone. "Now then, we shall carry that Pikachu in this career cases for you."
"They're pretty thorough, aren't they?" Ash exclaimed as he was looking at his Pikachu with a smile on his face.
"Let's show you four and your Pikachu to your—." The wind suddenly whips up, causing the inn façade to collapse to the ground and removing Team Rocket's disguises. "Hey Meowth! Why did a simple gust of wind make it fall over?!" Jessie seething in hot white anger as she was holding her fits tightly.
"If was makeshift, it couldn't be helped." Meowth exclaimed as he was rubbing his head together.
Ashley crossed her arm over her chest as she watched Team Rocket began doing their motto and started speaking in a lower tone. "Why I'm not surprised you guys showed up and planning to kidnap my brother's Pikachu."
Dawn clenched her fits tightly as she was getting angry at Team Rocket and started scolding them. "You're after Pikachu again, aren't you?" Espeon give Meowth a death glared.
Jessie smirked at them as she was placing her hands against her hips and started speaking in a confident tone. "Of course!"
James took out his Pokeball from his pocket and started speaking in a calmer tone. "Go, Carnivine!" James was sending out a green Pokémon resembling a Venus flytrap and Its circular eyes have small pupils, and it has spiky teeth while Its stem is yellow with green spots, with red and green vines beneath with the appearance of tentacles, was biting James head. "No, no,no, Not me!" James was complaining in pain.
Ashley slowly took out her Pokédex from her bag and started scanning it.'Carnivine, the Bug Catcher Pokémon. It uses its sweet-smelling saliva to catch its prey.'Ashley was putting her Pokédex away back into the bag and started speaking in a softer tone, "I'm guessing they've have a new Pokémon."
Dawn took out her Pokeball from her pocket and started speaking in her usual cheerful attitude. "Leave this to me! Piplup, Bubble Beam!" Dawn was sending out her Piplup. Piplup opens its beak and releases a stream of blue bubbles but Carnivine literally eats it. "The Bubble Beam was..." Dawn muttered under her breath.
"Water type moves aren't very effective against Grass types like Carnivine!" Brock was explaining to the young trainer.
Ashley watched closely at James's Carnivine was about to attack Dawn's Piplup but all of sudden, a Budew intercepts, pushing Carnivine back and firing the yellow seeds, sending Team Rocket flying off. Ashley looked over her shoulder to noticed that Nando randomly showed up and started speaking in his usual cheerful attitude. "What a relief. This wonderful night was almost ruined. Is everyone all right?"
Ashley smiled a little as she was relief that Nando has stopped Team Rocket before the three of them would've kidnapped her twin brother's Pikachu. "The thing is, we're been searching for you, Nando."
"Me?" Nando exclaimed smiling at his four new friends, though he takes them back to his campsite. "Yes, It's true. I can't decide on which I really wish to do, Gyms or Contests." Nando explaining to them as he was holding his harp tightly.
"Budew's strength is definitely best suited for Gyms." Ash exclaimed as he was pumping his both fits together.
"Not at all. I think it's flashiness is best fit for Contest." Dawn explaining to him with a gentle smile on her face, as Ashley slowly took a deep breath, trying not to hold in her laughter.
"In order to enter the Sinnoh League, you must win Gym matches in various places, and collect eight badges. On the other hand to enter the Grand Festival, you must win Contest and collect five ribbons." Nando explaining with a gentle smile on his face as he was holding his harp.
Ash nodded of agreement as he was looking at Nando and started speaking in his usual cheerful attitude. "That's why I think it's worth going for the Gyms!"
"It's more worth it to go for the Contest!" Dawn exclaimed, as she was glaring at Ash, they began to argue once again.
"Now, now. If you make such a racket you won't be able to hear the song of the forest." Nando reminded them as they stopped arguing while Ashley started listening to some sounds of Pokémon in the night time.
Ashley felt amazed at the sound of the Pokémon singing into the melody as her Espeon was sleeping on her lap peacefully and started speaking in a softer tone. "It's sounds so beautiful."
"I never noticed that we could've been listening to such a wonderful song the whole time." Dawn exclaimed smiling as she was now getting used of listening to the sound of Pokémon.
Ash turned his direction towards Dawn with his smile on his face and started speaking in his usual cheerful attitude. "See? It's not that bad to spend the night outdoors, is it?"
"No. I'm sorry Ash. I've just been complaining this whole time. Things haven't been going all that well for me, so I've been sorta impatient." Dawn apologized as she was looking down on the ground.
Ash slowly took a deep breath and started speaking in a calmer tone. "No. I've been way too harsh, too." Ashley crossed her arms over her chest as she was proud of them for apologizing from before.
"Let's cooperate from here on out, okay?" Dawn exclaimed, looking back at Ash with a small smile on her face.
"Yeah. You know, the day Ashley and I started my journey from Pallet Town, We saw a Pokémon flying overhead, shining with colors of the rainbow. I'm sure that was Ho-Oh! I wonder where it's flying over right now." Ash spoke in his usual cheerful attitude as his twin sister Ashley was listening carefully.
"I saw something like that, too. I was at Lake Verity. There are a lot of Pokémon and mysteries we don't know anything about." Dawn started speaking in a gentle tone on her voice.
Nando plucks at his harp and started singing in a lighter tone. "You saw those hearts that can not be seen. The voice of the forest are singing and so Pokémon who won't show themselves...have made a twosome connect their feelings. This wonder can not be seem, yet we still see it. It's been a mysterious, mysterious night in the Pokémon world."
Ashley quickly got up from her seat as she was looking at Nando with much more confident and started speaking in a calmer tone. "Hey! Nando, let's have a battle!" Ashley clenched her fits tightly as she was still thinking about her lost against Josette.
"I'll happily accept." Nando responded in a gentle tone as he was still holding his harp.
Later the next morning, Ashley was facing the battle against Nando with Espeon on her side and started speaking in a calmer tone. "Okay, here I go, Nando!"
"I'm ready when you are." Nando spoke in a well manner tone as he has his Budew on his side.
Ashley clenched her fits tightly and started speaking in a confident tone. "Espeon, Quick Attack!" Espeon runs at a fast speed, with white energy appears on the trails.
"Budew, Bullet Seed." Nando responded in a gentle tone as his Budew firing the yellow seeds directly towards at Espeon. Espeon dodges and knocking out Budew with the attack. "Mega Drain." Budew replies with glows white, and it shoots a dark green beam energy while absorbing Espeon's.
Ashley clenched her fits tightly as she watched her Espeon getting knocked out, "Espeon you need to get up." Ashley muttered under her breath as her Espeon slowly got up from the ground. "Don't lose, Espeon, Swift!" Espeon opens its mouth and yellow stars shooting out of its opponent.
Ashley watched Nando's Budew was about to get up from the ground and began glowing white. "This is..." Nando exclaimed with a gentle smile on his face, as he watched his Budew evolving a three thorns on top of its head, and it has black eyes with long eyelashes, holds a rose in each of its hands, a red one in its right, and a blue one in its left. It revealed to be a Roselia.
Ashley remembers that Drew has a Roseila as well and started speaking in a softer tone. "Roselia! Budew was Roselia's pre-evolved form?" Ashley clenched her fits tightly.
"This has become more and more exciting, hasn't it? Roselia, Sunny Day!" Nando responded in a gentle tone as his Roselia's arms then raises its hands to the sky and it releasing two white beams from the orbs on its hands at the sun, making the sunlight brighter. "Continue with Solar Beam!" Roselia sticks its hands up in the air and a white energy ball collects in the flowers.
Ashley clenched her fits tightly as she looked at her Espeon and started speaking in a confidence tone. "Dodge it by jumping!" Espeon darts forward as the beam launches. "Now's your chance, Espeon! Iron Tail!" Espeon's entire tail glows white and knocking out Roselia.
Nando watched his Roselia getting knocked out by Espeon's Iron Tail attack and started speaking in a calmer tone. "Roselia!" Nando picks up his Roselia from the ground. "I guess this is it. It's our loss." Nando looked over his shoulder to noticed Ashley was petting Espeon's forehead. "Roselia, thanks for the hard work." Nando slowly took out the Pokeball from his pocket. "Rest well." Nando was returning his Roselia then he walked over to Ashley and the others. "Ash, Ashley, Dawn. Thank you very much. Thanks to you, I've finally made up my mind." Nando responded in a gentle tone.
"Are you going for the Sinnoh League?" Ash asked curiously as he was looking at Nando.
"The Grand Festival, right?" Dawn exclaimed as she was holding her hands together tightly.
"I'll go for both of them. My battles with both of you were so enjoyable...that I've lost need to narrow my objectives to one. Now then, let's meet again at a tournament somewhere." Nando responded in his usual gentle tone.
Ashley blinked her eyes a few times as she started to smile a little, "I guess he's going to be our rival." Ashley exclaimed as she was looking forward to do both gyms and contest once again.
