"Who's your contact, Liv?" Elliot asked.

"I am," said a voice from behind them. The group turned towards the voice. There stood a very familiar blonde woman in a suit.

"Alex?" Elliot uttered in surprise.

Alex smiled and explained, "For the past eight years, I've been helping battered women escape from their abusers. The system is flawed, as you know, and in cases where the abuser is allowed back on the streets, I take the victims somewhere safe and help them acquire new identities."

"Is that even legal?" Elliot quipped.

Alex shrugged. "I'm not an ADA anymore. I can do what you guys can't."

"And she's also in the best position to keep your family safe," Olivia added.

"Ok. So what's the plan?" questioned Maureen.

"I know of a place. I'll meet you at the warehouse on 7th street at midnight. From there, I'll take you to the safe house. No one will know where you are other than me. Not even Olivia and her squad. It's safer that way. Olivia will contact me when it's safe for you to return," Alex answered."

"We'll make sure y'all get to the warehouse in one piece," Fin assured the Stablers.

At 11:30 PM, The Stablers were secretly brought to the station by their protection detail. From there, they were taken out the back way and driven to the warehouse in unmarked cars.

Alex had a big van that could hold the entire Stabler family safely, and she had it parked inside the warehouse. Olivia hugged every member of the family and before Elliot stepped into the van, She whispered, "We'll get 'em, El. I promise."

"I'll take good care of them, Liv. You have my word. They'll be safe. You just concentrate on getting the perps and bringing Elliot and his family home," Alex told her friend as she climbed into the van.

"Thank you," Olivia mouthed.

The squad waved them off and then waited a few extra minutes before driving out the back way and returning to the precinct. They dug up as much as they could for the next two hours before going home for some sleep.

The next day, Kat and Fin Flew to Kansas to visit Rodriques in Levenworth.

"Who are you?" demanded Rodrigues, when he saw Fin and Kat.

"We're from NYPD. I'm Sergeant Tutuoala this is Officer Kat Tamin. We have reason to believe your Nephew, Alfredo Perez was responsible for a rape and murder in New York as well as making threats against an FBI agent and his family."

"I don't know nothing about that. I haven't spoken to Alfredo in months. I assumed he'd gotten himself busted," Rodrigues stated with a shrug.

Kat stepped forward. "He's in the wind. We were hoping you could shed some light on where he might be."

Rodrigues smirked. "If I did know, I wouldn't tell you. Those so-called victims probably had it coming."

The druglord suddenly found himself slammed up against the wall by an extremely angry SVU sergeant.

"Wipe that smirk off your face, now, Asshole, before I do it for you!"

"You can't do anything to me. I'll report you to the warden," Rodrigues squeaked out.

"Oh yeah? Who do ya think he'll believe? The druglord doing life, or the Sergeant?" Fin shot back.

"Ok! Ok! I'll give you what you want. Just put me down!" a nervous Rodriques pleaded.

"We want names. Who works for you that isn't in the lock-up? How many contacts do you have?" Kat questioned.

"Fine. I have plenty. I'll just call on more if you catch these guys."

Kat got right in the prisoner's face. "Not if you're in the Super Max wing."

"You wouldn't!" whined Rodrigues.

"Watch us," retorted Fin.

"Now give us those names," Kat ordered menacingly.

Twenty minutes later, Fin and Kat had the list of thirty names and were ready to return to New York.

When they got back to the precinct, they ran checks on every single one of them and got their locations. The next day, they were all brought in for questioning, and all of them were indicted. Unfortunately, Alfredo Perez's location was still unknown.

Then, a couple of days later, Kat found a lead.

"He appeared on the security cam at a bank in Queens. I just called and was told he comes in regularly but he hasn't been there in about a week. They gave me a current address for him that's different from the one we had."

"Amanda you and Kat go. I'll get Carisi to get a search warrant," Olivia ordered.

An hour later, the search warrant came through and Kat and Amanda headed to Alfredo's apartment. When they received no answer to their knocks, they forced open the door and searched the house.

"Clear!" Amanda called after a few moments.

"Clear!" Kat copied from the other end of the house.

Amanda called in CSU and started looking around. After getting what they needed, the apartment was sealed and everyone headed back to the precinct, disappointed that they hadn't found Alfredo."

"Keep digging. There was recently purchased food at his apartment. He couldn't have gone far," Fin told the other detectives.

A few days later, Olivia received a tip leading them to Gramacy park.

"What've we got?" She asked the uni at the scene once the SVU squad arrived.

"A dead man, about forty. Looks like whoever did him in got him really good with a serrated knife."

"Was he sexually assaulted?"

"No. No signs of sexual trauma. This was personal though. This was over-kill," Warner answered as Olivia approached.

"Why was I called, then?" inquired Olivia

Warner stood up and let Olivia closer so the SVU captain could see the body. "Because the dead man is connected to your case. It's Alfredo Perez."
