The Package Deal: Susan is a package deal for Caspian.

It was a few days after the Christmas. The environment was still cold and snow could be seen like a beautiful white blanket all over the place. Narnians were still enjoying the happy and joyful season.

Many Telmarins were making a fuss over the cold; but other habits have started to change. There were many Telmarins now lived in Narnia peacefully and everyone was very happy with the changes that were happening around them. People loved the five royals and respected them. Even though some had doubts when it came to two nations, people took chances and started to have faith in the five rulers and of course Aslan. No one had seen the Great Lion for some time now, yet they knew that he was looking after them by giving wisdom to their great rulers.

There were two lovers in the castle garden, chatting about everything and nothing. Caspian and Susan have become inseparable. Their bond is becoming stronger than ever before with each day passed. Everyone was waiting for the good news to be heard from their royal couple, but two lovers were not in a hurry for anything. According to Aslan they had all the time in the world, hence they liked to enjoy their time together. From the day one, their relationship has changed. First they were foes, who later fought side by side to bring peace to Narnia, then they became good friends and now they are lovers; who are enjoying their picnic.

"I love our time together!" Susan said while taking a bite from the sandwich she took from the picnic basket.

"We rarely spend time together now. Did you know that I had to beg Ed to take the turn in today's meeting?" She stated. Caspian smiled in return and held her hand.

"Well, I never thanked you for your generous idea my Queen! If not I would be bored to death by now. I wonder if Edmund is still alive or if he is thinking of the most painful way to kill me right now." Caspian said in horror.

Susan laughed. "Oh stop it. My brother loves you" she said.

"Yes ,that I know. But, spending awful time in council meeting can change people mind you know" Caspian said looking at Susan who gave a small smile.

"Hmm" she responded.

"I am alright with it you know. I already knew about the sarcastic brother that I am going to live with. It is in the package after all." Caspian said.

"Ah ha" Susan said. "Wait what? What package?" the young queen asked.

"The package" he replied.

"Exactly what package are we talking about?" She asked again.

Caspian ginned. This time he got a deathly glare from his lovely queen, well if you can call it a deathly glare, more like a glare, but with full of love."

"My Queen when I met you and your siblings. You were like a package deal….." He said when Susan started to argue with Caspian.

"The package! You know I would love to hear about this package of mine" She said in a playful tone.

"Yes package!you love me, so I also started to love you. That is one"

"Hmm, I am listening" Susan said.

"Then your beauty, you are known to be the most beautiful woman since Golden age, so that's the second thing. Your skills; you are the best archer in Narnia which I learnt the hard way." He smiled yet continued. "Your status; you are one of the Narnian rulers, like most eligible bachelorette, apart from Lucy of course when she comes to the age. Also, your family; I am an orphan, so your family is added bonus. And the most important thing is the assets!" he said grinning and pointing his eyes to her figure.

Susan gave him a blank stare. After a few second she realised what he really meant by assets. She punched his gut.

"CASPIAN!" she said while blushing like a tomato.

He smiles at her and pulls her into him, but she is pushes him away. Then she gives up let him pull her to his chest. Susan loved how he acts when he was around her, he never insults her nor he never makes her uncomfortable. She knew how much Caspian loved her, as much as she loved him. The his features changed to a serious look.

"You know I lived my entire childhood as an orphan. After my parents were gone I was under the care of my Uncle, who never had time for me. Professor was the only guardian who was there for me. But, there was always something missing. Family bond; I never had the chance to fight with my siblings, get scared while my father shared scary bedtime stories, never had the chance to defend my sisters from bullying. That was until I met your siblings."

Susan gave a watery smiled and he continued.

"Now I have the chance to argue with Edmund to have the best sword and try to beat Peter so that I can be a better fighter than him. Then, look after Lucy to become the best elder brother among the three. I got to experience what a real family is. I have heard how Peter and Edmund threw all your suitors during the your time of ruling and now I get to take part in chasing all mad unsuitable suitors Lucy will be meeting. Of course I would give my full support to the one Lucy choses when she comes to the age. Until then I will protect her just like I protect you my Queen." Caspia said while giving a quick peck on her lips.

"And you my queen; you are the other half that I was missing. Reason for my existence is you. I would not be the man today if it wasn't for you or your family. Your love gives me strength to keep going even during the hard times. When you were all gone back to England, your memories and the love helped me to survive. I hoped and prayed for a family and that family was you and your siblings. Who are now my family My Queen" Caspian finished his story. Susan smiled at him and notices his face taking playfulness.

Susan knew what was going to happen. She quickly got up her feet and started to run around while Caspian chased her to ticker her. Castle guards and a few Narnian were looking at the two lovers who were acting like children. They all were happy to see the happiness in the castle and in their land. Finally, Caspian grabbed her by the waist and both fell on the ground he started to tickle her until she was out of breath. Then the struggling stopped both were leaning forward and started to kiss. "I love you My Queen" he says while kissing her again.

"I too love you Caspian. Even though you only love my assets" She smiled.

The picnic is long forgotten as the couple were too busy making out in the garden.
