Things were running pretty smoothly currently. So everything was quiet. Then a minicon signal was detected. "Where is the signal coming from?" Lisa asked. Lisa was Noah's little sister.
"Looks like it's in South America," Knockout said.
"Yes it looks like it's right here," Red alert said pointing.
"That's the Amazon Rainforest," Lightstar said.
"Yes it is, and there is the Amazon river," Diantha said.
"Yes it's the world's rainforest," Noah said.
"Rainforest?" Hot shot asked.
"It's a kind of forest know for it's large amount rain fall during certain times of the year, there are two different types of rainforest temperate and tropical." Noah said.
"Yes and the Amazon is a tropical rainforest, there are many native humans living there, over 40,000 plant species, 2.5 million bug species, 3,000 species of fish, 1,500 species of birds, 450 species of reptile, 427 species of amphibian and 427 species of mammals," Lightstar said.
"That is great deal of life in one place," Demolishor said.
"It is, and it's a very lovely place too," Lightstar said.
They warped to the rainforest. "Okay we must walk from here," Lightstar said.
"What about the trees shouldn't we knock them out of the way?" Cyclonus asked.
"No, these trees and plants are alive, just like every human, animal and transformer, so we best leave them alone after all many animals call these trees home," Noah said.
"I will take a spy from above to see if I can find the minicon," Jetfire said.
"Go for it," Lightstar said.
Jetfire took a look. "Wow, you blokes and shelias won't believe it but many of these trees are really tall!" Jetfire said.
"Of course some trees in the amazon can reach about 300 feet." Diantha said.
"Crikey there are a lot of different birds way up here at the top, and I see this really big bird, it's kind of gray, and it's looks like one of them birds of prey," Jetfire said.
"That's a harpy eagle," Lightstar said. "You are in the emergent layer of the rainforest," she said.
"Layer?" Side swipe asked.
"Think of the rain forest like a cake, at the very top is the emergent layer, next is the canopy, then the understory, and finally the forest floor," Lightstar said.
"Yes and each layer is full life," Diantha said.
"That means the minicon can be in any one of these layers," Red alert said.
"True we better start searching," Optimus said. "All the fliers must check out the emergent layer and the canopy layers." he said.
"I agree to that, we will check the understory," Megatron said.
"Us humans will check the forest floor with some of the minicons," Noah said.
"Good let's start looking," Knockout said.
They started their search. "I see something," Lightstar said. "It's a harpy eagle it's stuck in a hunter's trap," she said. Then Lightstar got it free from it. "There you go," she said.
"Good work," Zoomzoom said.
The harpy eagle began to fly around.
"What does it want?" Cloudcover said.
"I think it wants us to follow," Starscream said.
"Okay we'll follow you," Lightstar said. The other bots and cons were fighting the droids.
"Be careful don't set the forest on fire," Diantha said.
"We will be careful," Optimus said.
The eagle was still leading the fliers somewhere. "Okay hang on we're coming," Lightstar said. Then they saw it. It was the minicon. The eagle landed.
"It helped us," Thundercracker said.
"I think it did so because Lightstar was kind enough to free it from the trap," Jetfire said.
Lightstar pulled the minicon out. "Optimus Prime, and Megatron we got the minicon," she said. After the driods retreated they saw the minicon panel but it wouldn't wake up.
"Something is odd about this," Lightstar said.
"I'll say, but we will figure it out soon," Red alert said.
Then minicon was now in the base being held in a special tray. "The minicon will wake up soon I believe," Demolisher said.
"Yes but only time will tell," Red alert said.
