Chapter 10
Damn, Brian…
Felix's point of view.
"Hey, mum and dad. Fallon and I are entering in a surfing tournament which is our school versing others. We won't be back until later tonight since we'll be at tryouts. Love ya." I say with the happiest tone I could muster, causing Fallon to glance at me curiously.
I snarl at Fallon, but quickly stop when our mum starts talking on the other side of the phone line.
"Really!? That's amazing! Oh, I knew you two boys would finally get along. Have fun!" And with that said, our mum hung up on us just like that..
"Looks like she got the wrong idea.." I mumble to myself while putting my phone into my shorts' pocket.
If you're wondering where Fallon and I got the shorts from— Brian's house is the answer. Frankly, he had some spares that he ever so kindly shared.
Sapphire on the other hand was happy wearing her pink skirt and white crop top, while ever so happily planning on being a cheerleader for Fallon.
The thought made me grimace, but then again— I had my boy Brian, so we're even.
"Welcome all students from Leon's press college to our first tryout session!" A young man called from a light brown deck that was placed on the sand like a stage. He was wearing a yellow and red top that said 'lifeguard' on it.
"Oh, good. My saviour has arrived..." I whisper to myself quietly, but Fallon manages to hear me as a grin forms on his red lips.
"Glad you're already close to surrendering." He replies just a quietly in hopes that the lifeguard won't hear us talking when he's talking.
"You two boys at the back." The lifeguard gestures to Fallon and me, as I gulp, and Fallon looks like he's a frozen solid statue since he never gets into trouble.
"You two look perfect for a trial." He praises with a smug grin, allowing me the moment to nervously laugh.
"What? Us? Nah, you've got it all wrong—"
"Let's go." The lifeguard calls while handing Fallon a yellow board and me a lime-green one.
Fallon fumbles to hold the board, face planting into the sand in which I laugh out loud like a maniac to.
But throughout my laughs, Fallon tackles me down onto the sand— making me drop the board and us now wrestle in our bare-chested glory.
He throws me down to the ground, so I wrestle his arms away from my face with my hands so that he couldn't slap me.
But instead, he gets off of me allowing me the moment to get up, tackle him down, and sit on him with style.
And by style— I mean laying on top of him with all my weight— having him groaning.
The lifeguard is who knows where at the moment. All I know is everyone is almost cheering, "Fight! Fight! Fight!" At this point, which has me smirking.
I unexpectedly get off of Fallon, causing him to relax with relief— but then I grab him by his ankle and drag him on the sand all the way to the waves— having his head dunked into the water.
I let go off his ankle, running back onto the warm, sunny sandy beach at supersonic speed.
I hear a groan occur from behind me, and a whole lot of splashing too.
I glance over my shoulder to see Fallon splashing like a magikarp, flailing all the water and sand from out of his black hair.
Everyone laughs in amusement, including me.
This is why nerds don't surf.
"Well, that was unexpected..." The lifeguard says from behind me, shocking my very soul into place.
"Fallon!" Sapphire screams with her pink Pom, poms flying all over the place in mid-air as she shakes them furiously.
"Get up, Fallon! Gosh, boy." She huffs angrily, but somehow she sparked some determination from inside my brother. As he jolts right out of the cold water, waltzing over here with a murderous look flashing about in his eyes.
"You think that was funny!?" Fallon threatens, shoving me at my chest harshly to the point of me falling back, landing my ass on the sand.
I look up from where I'm sitting on the sand— levelled out with his crotch— up into his glaring, soulless blue eyes.
"Oh, cool off." I say bitterly while getting up from off the sand, brushing the remaining minerals off my green shorts.
"I just did!" He shouts, causing all the students to laugh.
"You two have a rivalry going on, eh?" The lifeguard wonders with a hand on his hip, and a glint to his grey eyes.
The both of us look away from each other causing him to laugh.
"Come on, boys. Now is the time to learn to surf." He calmly says while picking up the green and yellow board from off the sand, handing them back to Fallon and me.
Fallon tries dragging his board along the sand this time so that he doesn't face plant again.
Surprisingly, it worked. Despite the deep board trails that were along the sand now though...
"Alright, boys. For today's trial, I would like the both of you to float on your board— or better said— get on it." The lifeguard informs while showing us a demonstration.
I laugh in response with a grin on my lips.
"That's easy!" I shout while pushing off from the sand bank so that I could float my board into the less shallow waters, no longer letting my feet touch surface.
I heave my body onto the board— my cock on an uncomfortable angle when trying to climb from the corner of the board upwards— and then, POW!
The board gets pushed up from a wave, smacking right bang in my chin and corner of my mouth.
I groan in pain, wiping at my lip which luckily had no blood.
"A+ for effort." Fallon snickers from where he's laying afloat on his board with ease.
"Oh, but Fallon— you're the A grade student, not Felix!" Fallon mimics in an innocent girl's voice— most likely being his 'oh, so pretty' Sapphire.
"I swear on your ball sack, Fallon. I will be the reason why you DON'T HAVE KIDS!" I hiss aggressively, with my jaw hurting like fuck.
The lifeguard was watching us from afar, so luckily he couldn't hear our conversations— or at least we think he can't...
"And I swear on your gay ass that your little boyfriend will give you anal as a sweet present for you doing this." Fallon retorts with an all-knowing wink, having me clench the board that looks like an oversized dick tightly.
"Fallon—"
"Oh, but wouldn't you rather it down the throat, Felix? That way, or course— you can be a submissive boy..."
"Fallon!" I scream angrily, gripping on my board with anger and heaving myself onto it with success.
I turn my board around with my hand, kicking a massive wave of water into Fallon's face like a jet.
Whines could be heard from behind me, so I grin to myself, sitting my feet in the water to relax.
I look over my shoulder, spying on a drenched Fallon with water dripping from in the bangs of his black hair.
He goes to splash me this time, but it was at that moment that a wave came for us like a tsunami and lifted both our boards up with force to the point of us being higher than the beach level.
Him and I clench onto our boards tightly while screaming like uttered psychos.
"FUCK, FUCK, FUCK YOU FALLON!" I scream while my board lifts into the air, a massive wave splashing over my naked torso with its blistering cold shivers and blue relish.
Fallon screams back in fright, "I'M JUST A NERD! I DON'T DESERVE THIS!" Before his head gets dunked under the wave too.
On the second dunk of water that goes over my head, I open my clenched shut eyes and see the orange coral that's below the water's surface, filled with green seaweed all along the floor of the ocean.
It was so beautiful...especially with the dark blue mixed with light blue jet bubbles that flowed from around the wave we're riding.
Before I knew it, my head was above water again, allowing me the moment to breath.
But another gasp was heard, and that other gasp was Fallon.
"Bro, this is crazy as fuck!" Fallon screams, with water dripping off from his shark tooth necklace and down his collarbone.
I grin in return to what he just said. "For you to swear, it really must be," I state with a wink.
He frowns in return, but when the wave dunks downwards, we both scream again like on a roller coaster ride that's going down at tops speed.
The only difference here is— we know there ain't a stop button...
"Ah, fuck!" I scream while bear hugging my board as we're now riding on the top of the wave. "I'm on top of the world!" I scream in dismissal to my growing fear.
"Where the fuck is the lifeguard!?" Fallon cries out in panic as our boards ride against the top of the wave to the point of almost floating; edging us to stand so we can properly surf.
"Who knows and who cares! More like— it's time to surf, baby!" I scream mainly to myself with the thought of Brian in my head with a proud smile.
I clench on the neck of the board, standing my feet on the back of the board in a crouch.
When I have my balance, I stand up with my arms out trying to touch nothing in particular.
I move one foot to the back of the board, and one to the front.
In the process, I take a deep breath while keeping my thoughts balanced with the flow of the wave.
The calming melody consumes me over time, and before I know it—
"I'm surfing!" I shout with enthusiasm, doing my best to maintain balance at the same time.
Claps could be heard from all the way at the beach, and it was only then did I realise how far away from the beach we were.
The view was incredible! It felt like I was hiking but on a less stable surface.
The yellow contrast of the sun sparkling its glows on the aqua water was glorious.
The shimmers and ripples that got shown were also ever so appealing to the eye.
The fresh air out here made airing out your house seem cheap.
And of course, the palm trees that were hung over as shaded spots on the beach couldn't have looked any more stunning than what it did now.
"Felix, the wave is calming down!" Fallon calls out much calmer than earlier before when we were both screaming.
I look down with amazement as I watched the wave lower itself down into the depths of the ocean that was already beneath it.
After a few more seconds, Fallon, and I both got dropped down into the water that had always been there.
The tides had calmed down dramatically, so I crouched back down into a laying flat position since I couldn't surf without a wave.
Fallon and I had a paddle race all the way back to the beach in attempt to claim the last bit of dignity we had left after all that screaming.
When we arrived, we found our missing lifeguard who was sitting beneath a palm tree with a glass of orange juice with a pink umbrella in it with ice.
He raises the glass in the air towards Fallon and I with a grin, like a toast of gratitude.
"Well, done boys. You did excellent for your first time! And congratulations to Felix for surfing in the count of one session." He nods his head in respect, allowing everyone the moment to start clapping.
I blush unwillingly to all the attention, while having a darkened shadow next to me towards me getting all the attention for once.
You already know who that was..
"Whoo! Yeah, Felix!" Brian shouts from at the top of his lungs, snatching the pink Pom, poms off of Sapphire to shake them furiously in the air while jumping up and down when he saw me.
I cover my face with one hand— especially when the crowd started going, "Ooo—" to Brian and my intimacy levels.
Sapphire let's Brian have the Pom, poms for now as she comes dashing to Fallon and me, instantly latching her lips onto Fallon's with desperation as she crashes her body into his bare chest.
The lifeguard whistles in return to the sudden action before mumbling a, "Damn, hadn't seen that one coming." In which I flash him a thumbs up, but before I knew it— Brian has crashed into me with all of his joy, knocking me down to the sand with his lips pressed onto mine.
The crowd's, "Ooos," get so much louder as everyone has a show to remember.
Damn, Brian...
