Mal cried out as she was thrown back into her cell her body bruised and bloody as she tried to stand but only fell back to the floor. Suddenly she felt a pair of strong but gentle hands picking her up and laying her on the bed, she looked over and saw Hades looking worriedly down on her.
"How long are you going to let them beat on you" Hades asked worriedly "Just because you're a demigod doesn't make you invincible, even Demigods have a weakness" he said softly.
"I will let this happen until I am allowed to see Evie, she needs to know I don't hate her" Mal said softly as she painfully shifted on the bed. "Besides I want Evil Queen to think she's winning but the only thing she's breaking is herself"
"Mally, this is dangerous…you're the Queen of Auradon, you need to be careful" Hades said firmly
Mal was about to remark when she felt a rumbling outside of the cell they were in, "whats going on" she asked before limping to the door thankful there was a window to see out, but what she saw she wished she hadn't "Are those..Titans" she said with wide eyes "Evil Queen is releasing the Titans into Auradon!" Mal exclaimed as she tried to get the door open catching a glimpse of Evie she shouted for her best friend only to be ignored.
"This is all wrong… Mom is helping Evil queen, Evie is helping her mother.. the titans are loose this can't get worse" Mal said as she teared up.
Suddenly Evil Queen appeared at the door with Evie, "Evie…take your prisoners to the observatory, I want them to watch my plan be unleashed" Evil Queen sneered.
Evie hesitated and looked at Mal, the hurt in her eyes evident as she grabbed Mal's arm "I'm Sorry" she said softly before dragging both Mal and Hades to the observatory. Mal cried out as she was thrown into a chair and strapped down. She watched as Hades put up a fight but ultimately was overpowered and strapped to the chair as well.
Mal looked at her best friend with tears in her eyes "Evie.. don't do this, you don't have to listen to her.. We aren't our parents remember"
Evie glanced at her mother then to Mal before shaking her head and turning away.
"Wheres My mother! I demand to see her" Mal shouted angrily her anger masking the pain as she looked at Evil Queen. Suddenly the ground started to shake again thats when she saw her mother in her dragon form screeching in pain, thats when Mal noticed the iron collar on her mothers neck "Stop it your hurting her!" she shouted as she pulled on the straps that were holding her down.
Evil Queen laughed maniacally before looking at Mal "You've lost.. you've finally lost" she sneered before walking over to the young woman. "The Titans will destroy your home and Evie will finally destroy your mother, then we will deal with you and your father" she smirked before looking at her daughter "Evie do it" she demanded.
Evie bit her lip and shook her head slightly "I..I can't..please mother don't make me" she pleaded only to be faced with a hand connecting with her cheek causing her to stumble slightly. She looked at Mal with fear and sadness in her eyes before looking at Maleficent, Walking over to the dragon she grabbed a potion and shot it into the dragon's mouth. A Large cloud of purple smoke filled the room leaving a now mortal Maleficent on the ground.
Mal watched this with wide eyes " ! Help us do something!" she shouted before gasping when she heard the sounds of moaning coming from a large hole in the ground.
"Oh No… don't do this! She needs her mother!" Hades shouted angrily "Evie don't! please think about what your doing!" he snapped.
" happening? Dad.. what is she going to do to my mother" Mal asked with wide eyes as she watched Evie drag Maleficent towards the hole.
"Your mother is Mortal now.. that hole is where all the souls are kept once in there it takes a god to get someone out, the only known god to do that was hercules.
Mal's eyes grew wider as she struggled "Evie! No! Please don't do this! Leave her alone please!"
Evie bit her lip hard and teared up, "I'm sorry Mal.. but its time you learn a lesson" she said before shoving Maleficent into the Abyss.
"NO!" Mal screamed as she watched her mother fall into the hole shaking her head as she sobbed feeling nothing but anger in her heart "I..I hate you…You killed my mother! I hate you Evie!" she screamed.
Evie gasped hearing the reaction from Mal, her heart breaking as she looked at her "M..Mal..please.. 't say that"
Mal was about to respond before crying out in pain as her head was pulled back by EVil Queen, "Let me go! Let me go you monsters!" she shouted through her tears. Feeling her magic boiling inside of her as she broke free of the straps, a cloud of purple smoke surrounding her as she flew upwards in her dragon form.
"Get her!" Evil Queen Demanded to her daughter and minions, "Poor Mal lost her mother, her best friend and now she's going to lose her entire kingdom" she smirked.
Mal screeched and lunged for Evil Queen only to be caught in a net causing her to fall to the ground looking up she saw Evie holding the side of the net Causing her to look away. She couldn't believe the utter betrayal Evie was showing right now, she felt her heart starting to harden against her best friend.
Mal was placed into a cage and shook her head as she shifted back to her human form again, Her eyes staring at the giant monitors showing the titans making their way to Auradon and heading straight for the Castle, she had no fight left her kingdom was in danger, her best friend was lost probably for good and her mother was dead. Her only hope now was that her father could get them out of this, but as she looked at her father she could see they were definitely in trouble.
