"Kirito do you see them?" Klein asks me as we both look into the distance, there are a couple of forms moving here and there but none of them get any closer.
"They've been spying on us for a while now" I answer Klein
"And you have been letting those two just use their powers like that" Klein says to me with a shocked voice.
"Relax between Yui and Gaara most people are too afraid to do anything, so there a good deterrent. Plus it's good to let the kids act like kids while they can" I answer Klein.
[Village Hidden in the Rain]
"Sir I'm here to report what our scouts have found"
"From the looks of it, the ambassadors that came here didn't lie, but didn't tell the whole truth either."
"The village hidden in the sand has relocated itself to the mountain and from what our scouts have reported they have begun to move people from the nearby lands where fighting is still ongoing or is too ruined to be of any use to anyone," the soldier says to Hanzo
"What about the Leaf?" Hanzo asks the soldier
"From what our scouts say, they've arrived where the sand village was but found nothing but ruins, however, they know where the mountain is and are currently watching it from afar" the soldier answers Hanzo
"..." Hanzo
"Prepare a list of things we could need, make it as ridiculous as possible, and send someone to our new friends. Make it seem like the average person eats twice as much as they normally do"
When the leaf attacks in retaliation for the sands failed invasion Aincrad will be too depleted of its resources and its defenses will be too weak to defend itself from us
Even if they do manage to have the resources needed to both give us what we asked for and successfully defend itself from the leaf. They will still consider the leaf as the aggressor and will either retaliate or try to strengthen the few alliances it already has.
[ Village Hidden by the Leaves ]
For a long moment, no one made any noise, not even as the rain began to fall on them, the attack lead by the combination of the Hidden Sound Village and the Hidden Sand Village killed a lot of people, but most importantly the Third Hokage.
The sound ninjas had run off and hidden like the rats they are and the sand ninjas had moved their entire population to an island somewhere inside the desert.
It just went to show the people of the hidden leaf that no matter how much they thought they knew about the world something new was always around the corner.
None of us even knew that the mountain existed inside of the Wind Nation.
I should be outside morning with everyone else, but instead, I'm here guarding this group of people.
Infiltration teams have already been sent out and only a couple of them have managed to come back alive.
"What do we know about the sand's new allies?" one of the elders asks the soldier in front of him.
"This is what we know so far"
"There are areas where the dead walk the streets, while they are weak they grow stronger the higher one goes into the mountain"
"Our infiltration teams have tried to seal and bring them here, but by the time they make it off the mountain the skeletons and corpses are gone."
"Most of the population of the mountain is living inside a large village at the base of the island, its believed that they do this because the mountain gets more and more dangerous as one goes deeper into the mountain"
There is a series of ruins inside the island, one of the teams entered one named floor boss, none of them survived" the soldier answered the councilors question before stepping back his role now fulfilled.
"What about this village of theirs?" another councilor aks the soldier who takes out a small pack of papers.
"It's guarded by three groups, people who call themselves players who wear strange armors, samurais and sand ninjas, the latter has just been integrated" the guard answers the councilor
Is there anything else we should know before we make our vote?" the counselor asks the guard.
"Our infiltration teams have reported that none of the creatures go near any of the settlements inside the island and that we should take their hesitation into consideration"
"Finally besides taking people into that mountain of theirs there is nothing else to report" the guard answers the councilors.
"We need to retaliate, or demand compensation for the sand villages attack, money will not be enough. I propose that the entire bloodline of their Hokage be exterminated for us to be even" one of the councilors says as the others agreeing to the woman's words
"This is ridiculous, the only people that can become Hokage in the sand village are members of the royal family, they will never accept those terms"
"We should consider the sands new allies," another councilor says to the group
"Whats to consider, they allied themselves with the enemy therefore they are the enemy" a man immediately answers
"True but from their movements, they are trying to make peace with their neighbors, and attacking them could make the other villages attack us in retaliation" the same man from before answers the counselor, it's obvious what the man is trying to do, but everyone else around him is hell-bent in getting revenge.
"Then it's settled we will begin preparations for our retaliation and we will only attack when our new Hokage has settled in his new role"
"Now onto other business, it seems that word about the sands new allies have spread and civilians are starting to head to the island," The councilor says before letting a cruel smile spread across his face.
"I say that if they want to be friends with as many people as possible, we should help them, in fact, we should help all of the people in the ruined lands to get to the island faster"
I can't believe what I'm hearing, all of those people are just looking for a safe place to live, a place away from all of the fighting going on.
"So you want to overwhelm them with the garbage of our world"
"Thereby dwindling their resources and military power, because all of them will be concentrated in keeping the new arrivals under control"
One councilor talks after another and I can't help but feel disgusted they know that if we attack innocent people will be caught in the crossfire.
The meeting has finally ended and the orders are being given, even as I leave the meeting hall, I notice that the rain hasn't stopped.
"We're sending innocent people to die, for no other reason than the fact that we think their lives are worth less than those that can afford to pay us"
I can already see the people that were given the orders to pay mercenaries to take everyone they can find and send them to the sand village's original location.
Normally we would send infiltration teams to arrive with the refuges\ pawns, but they aren't needed at the moment, we need as many people as possible to fen off any attacks that might come our way.
Another group has just left, this group will look for anyone that can and will cause problems, they are going to send them to the island and let them do what they do best.
Two more teams have just left one will look for survivors and send them to the island or the sand village and the other will spread the word about the mountain in the desert.
Two things will happen either the people in the mountain\ island will take those people in or they will die in the desert.
