Smackdown on fox...

Michelle was sitting backstage in her locker room with an ice pack on her back when Alexa bliss came into her locker room with a smile on her face as she sat down next to Michelle and said to her, "hey Michelle, it's good to have you back on Smackdown and I'm so glad you managed to beat Nia Jax last week to earn a spot at WWE SummerSlam." and Michelle smiled back at Alexa as she replied,

"Thanks Alexa it feels good to be back now I'm not suspended anymore and it will feel even better when I go to WWE SummerSlam and reclaim my life as a two time Smackdown women's champion and I don't care if I have to wear this ice pack now until SummerSlam I am getting my life back!"

Then Drew Mcintyre came into Michelle's locker room as he said with a smile on his face, "My, someone is fired up for SummerSlam, but welcome back by the way Michelle how is your shoulder?" and Michelle gave Drew a hug as she replied,

"My shoulder feels much better now thank you Drew after I had my surgery, and I know I shouldn't be trying to pull off moves like I did to Nia Jax last week but I had to test my shoulder and I would say it held up pretty good seeing as now I will be going to SummerSlam to face Charlotte flair and Ronda Rousey for the vacant Smackdown women's championship."

And Drew returned the hug to Michelle as he replied, "Well, I mean look at guys like Seth Rollins, he blew out his knee trying to hit a sunset flip powerbomb but he can still hit a bucklebomb with the rest of them, and the way I see it what you did last week with that top rope powerbomb was just you showing the WWE universe that you are back and more dangerous than ever because the crowd were going nuts during your match with Nia last week and by the way teddy asked me to tell you that tonight is a Mixed tag match between me and you against Finn balor and Bayley."

Michelle then smiled at Drew as she replied, "Well, I look forward to teaming with you again tonight Drew even though I look like a mouse standing next to you but I can't wait to get my hands on what my mother would say in that world class scumbag in Finn balor because he betrayed my dad when he was in NXT, but I'm gonna find Bayley and tell her the news." before she left her locker room to find Bayley leaving Drew chuckling in her locker room.

Then Michelle found Bayley in catering and walked up to her and gave her a hug as she said to her, "Hey Bayley, Drew just told me we will be facing each other tonight in a Mixed tag team match when you team with Finn balor while I team with Drew Mcintyre!" then Bayley returned the hug to Michelle as she replied,

"I know, I can't wait to face you tonight even though we are in embassy kingdom together but that doesn't mean me and Finn will go easy on you." and Michelle smiled at Bayley as she said,

"I know Bayley, and I wouldn't have it any other way because I want to face you at your best and prove to myself I can beat you at your best that's if Drew hasn't kicked Finn's head into the fifth row with a claymore kick."

Later...

Michelle was waiting in gorilla position with her partner Drew Mcintyre as Drew turned to Michelle and said to her, "Are you ok Michelle? I mean with you facing Bayley tonight because I know you guys are good friends, but I don't plan on going easy on Finn, especially after he betrayed your dad when he was in NXT." then Michelle gave Drew a hug as she replied with a smile on her face,

"I'll be fine Drew, besides me and Christie are close with each other but that didn't stop us from trying to destroy each over my Smackdown women's championship when I was the champion, so I hope Bayley doesn't hold anything back against us tonight because I want to prove to myself I can beat her at her best!"

Then final straw started playing in the arena as Michelle gave a quick smile to Drew as she said, "I'll see you out there, partner." before she walked out on stage to a thunderous crowd reaction as Greg Hamilton said,

"Ladies and gentlemen the following contest is a Mixed tag team match introducing first from Tampa Florida representing embassy kingdom she is the queen of Friday nights MICHELLE KYOSHI CASS!" and Michael Cole said on commentary while Michelle was making her way to the ring,

"Last week Michelle overcame a tough opponent in Nia Jax to earn her ticket to WWE's biggest party of the summer at SummerSlam where she will face Charlotte flair and the baddest woman on the planet Rowdy Ronda Rousey for the vacant WWE Smackdown women's championship."

Drew Mcintyre's theme gallantry then played in the arena as Greg Hamilton said, "And introducing her partner from Ayr Scotland, weighing in at 265 pounds DREW MCINTYRE!" and Drew walked out on stage to huge cheers from the crowd as Tazz said on commentary while Drew was making his way to the ring,

"Yeah and tonight could be a chance for Michelle and Drew Mcintyre to get some momentum heading into WWE SummerSlam which is a couple of weeks away!" and Corey graves said on commentary,

"You know, I'm still shocked that Michelle was actually able to lift Nia Jax last week to earn her spot at SummerSlam but i guess crazier things have happened in the past."

Then Bayley's theme turn it down played in the arena as Greg Hamilton said, "and introducing their opponents first, from san Jose California representing embassy kingdom BAYLEY!" and Bayley walked out on stage to huge cheers from the crowd and Michael Cole said on commentary while Bayley was making her way to the ring,

"We know a couple of weeks ago Bayley came to make the save for Michelle who of course was the Smackdown women's champion at the time when she was attacked by charlotte flair and I understand that Bayley and Michelle are good friends with each other backstage and that Michelle actually asked Bayley to join embassy kingdom do you think this match will affect their friendship at all partner?"

Tazz then said on commentary, "No I don't think this match will have any impact on the friendship between Michelle and Bayley here tonight, because we all thought the same when Michelle was defending her Smackdown women's championship against her girlfriend Christie hemme and they tried to destroy each other and I think the same will happen tonight because I think Michelle has something she wants to prove to herself." then Finn balor's theme played in the arena and Greg Hamilton said,

"And introducing her partner, from Bray county Ireland FINN BALOR!" and Finn walked out on stage to a sea of boos from the crowd and Michael Cole said on commentary while Finn balor made his way to the ring,

"And here comes Finn balor who many now would consider to be the cold heart of NXT after he turned his back on Michelle's father WWE hall of famer Jacob Cass, when it looked like Finn was going to team up with Jacob against the undisputed era until Finn unleashed a vicious attack on Jacob."

Then the referee checked both teams before he called for the bell to ring and the match to start and Finn balor and Drew Mcintyre circled around each other for a few minutes before Finn tagged Bayley into the match forcing Drew to tag Michelle in and Michelle went right after Finn balor knocking off the apron with a forearm before she turned around into a clothesline from Bayley knocking her down to the mat as Michael Cole said on commentary, "And as you saw right there ladies and gentlemen Michelle went right after Finn balor who clearly hasn't forgotten what that man did to her father but her inexperience cost her as she walked right into a clothesline from Bayley."

And Tazz said on commentary, "I wouldn't call it inexperience Cole, as I would say Michelle picked her spot attacking Finn when he had his eye off the ball but she forgot about Bayley which something you don't want to do in a tag team match." then Michelle got back to her feet and connected with a clothesline of her own on Bayley knocking her down to the mat before she followed it up with a flurry of left and right hands causing Bayley to back up into a corner as she desperately tried to cover up as Michael Cole said on commentary,

"And here come the strikes from Michelle that we have seen in the past as she forces Bayley up into a corner here."

Halfway through the match Drew Mcintyre connected with a belly to belly suplex on Finn balor sending him crashing down to the mat across the ring and Michelle came into the ring and ran off the ropes and hit a suicide dive on Bayley on the outside of the ring and Corey graves said on commentary, "Wow, what offence we are witnessing from both these teams as Michelle just took out Bayley on the outside with a suicide dive!" and Michael Cole said on commentary,

"I'll have to agree Corey, this definitely has been a competitive match so far and you gotta wonder how much more these teams have left."

And the end of the match came when all four of them were in the middle of the ring trading blows with each other before Finn balor hit a slingblade on Drew Mcintyre and Michelle hit a slingblade of her own on Finn balor and followed it up with a basement dropkick before Bayley then connected with a Bayley to belly suplex on Michelle causing her to roll to the outside and Bayley followed after her leaving Finn and Drew in the middle of the ring, before Drew backed up in a corner begging for Finn to get to his feet before he chanted, "3..2..1" before he charged out of the corner and connected with a claymore kick turning Finn balor inside out before he went for the pin as the referee made the count "1.." "2.." "3.." and the bell rang and the match was over as Greg Hamilton said, "Ladies and gentlemen here are your winners the queen of Friday nights Michelle Kyoshi Cass and DREW MCINTYRE!"

Backstage...

Michelle got backstage with Drew Mcintyre after their match and gave each other a hi five as Michelle said to Drew with a smile on her face, "That was awesome, and that claymore kick you gave to Finn was insane and we both got some well needed momentum heading into WWE SummerSlam!" then Drew had a smile on his face as he replied,

"yeah that was awesome teaming with you again even if it was just for tonight Michelle, and I really liked the spot when I threw you into Bayley and Finn on the outside."

Then Alexa bliss and Nikki cross came over to them and said, "Hey guys, that was an awesome match out there and we can't wait to watch Michelle's match at WWE SummerSlam where she tries to reclaim her WWE Smackdown women's championship!" then Michelle's expression changed a little to a more serious one as she said to everyone,

"Actually guys, there was something I had been meaning to tell you and that is before WWE SummerSlam I'm gonna ask for mine and Christie's release, and don't get me wrong I loved working here but this is something I had been thinking about for a long time ever since I was suspended and I had surgery on my left shoulder."

And Drew gave Michelle a hug and said to her, "It's ok Michelle we understand your decision and we are truly gonna miss you, but if you feel that you need to leave with your girlfriend then we don't blame you." and Michelle returned the hug to Drew as she replied with a few tears in her eyes,

"I'm gonna miss you guys too because you guys are some of my closest friends, and I promise to stay in touch with you guys but this is something I need to do because I want to see what else is waiting for me outside of WWE and it's not fair on Christie if I leave and she is still here that's why I think we should leave together just like we came here together."

Alexa bliss then wiped some tears from Michelle's face as she said to her, "Listen to me Michelle, if you feel like you aren't happy here anymore then ask for yours and Christie's release and we know you will stay in touch with us and wherever you and Christie decide to go we will make sure to watch your matches because we know you will make a huge impact wherever you and Christie go as embassy kingdom."

Later...

Michelle walked into Vince McMahon's office and sat down in one of the chairs as he said to her, "So what can I do you for Michelle?" and Michelle took a deep breath before she replied,

"Thank you for your time sir, I know you are a very busy man but I came here because I want to ask for my release after WWE SummerSlam, but not just my release I am asking for my girlfriend Christie hemme's release as well." then Vince McMahon sat in his chair and leaned forward on his desk as he replied,

"Now I know there isn't much I can do to change your mind young lady because your father and your mother felt the same way you do now when their contracts were about to expire and they chose not to resign, but I will make sure you and your girlfriend get a good send off at WWE SummerSlam."

WWE summerslam...

Michael Cole said on commentary, "Welcome ladies and gentlemen to WWE's biggest party of the summer, welcome to SummerSlam! where tonight in our main event it will be a returning Michelle Kyoshi Cass as she takes on Charlotte flair and the baddest woman on the planet Rowdy Ronda Rousey in a triple threat match for the vacant WWE Smackdown women's championship."

Backstage...

Michelle was in her locker room backstage after she got changed into her purple and gold ring gear when her girlfriend Christie hemme came into her locker room and gave her a hug as she said, "I can't wait to watch you try and reclaim your championship you never lost tonight babe and I love the purple highlights in your hair too!" and Michelle turned to face her girlfriend Christie hemme after she put her purple and gold Jacket on and gave her a kiss on her lips as she replied,

"Yeah, tonight is a big night not just for me but for both of us baby, because I asked for our release after tonight and Alexa just told me that after my match tonight management is giving both of us some promo time to say our goodbyes."

And Christie gave Michelle a hug and returned the kiss on her lips as she said, "Aww, babe you didn't have to ask for my release, but I am grateful you did because we are a package deal wherever you go, I would go with you and to be honest it was tearing me apart being away from you on Raw and at least we can leave together just like we came here together." then Michelle took her girlfriends hands into her own as she replied,

"Yeah babe, how about you walk with me to gorilla position one final time?" and Christie smiled at her girlfriend Michelle as she said,

"Of course baby, it will be my pleasure." before they both then walked to gorilla position together ready for Michelle's match.

The main event...

It was time for the main event of WWE SummerSlam and Michelle was waiting in gorilla position with her girlfriend Christie hemme and she heard Greg Hamilton saying while Charlotte flair's theme was playing, "Ladies and gentlemen the following contest is a triple threat match scheduled for one fall and is for the WWE Smackdown women's championship introducing first, from the queen city CHARLOTTE FLAIR!" then Michelle heard Ronda Rousey's theme playing in the arena as Greg Hamilton said, "And from Riverside California the baddest woman on the planet ROWDY RONDA ROUSEY!"

Then Michelle heard her theme final straw playing in the arena and she took a deep breath before walking out on stage to a thunderous and deafening crowd reaction from the crowd as Greg Hamilton said, "And from Tampa Florida she is the queen of Friday nights MICHELLE KYOSHI CASS!" and Michael Cole said on commentary while Michelle was making her way to the ring,

"Listen to this place, what an ovation for Michelle Kyoshi Cass as she makes her in ring return here tonight as she has a chance to become a two time Smackdown women's champion if she can get past Charlotte and Ronda Rousey tonight."

And the referee checked all three women before he held up the championship and called for the bell to ring and the match to start and all three women circled around each other for a few minutes before Michelle went straight after Charlotte knocking her down to the mat with a clothesline before she then turned her attention to Ronda Rousey as they locked up in a collar and elbow tie up before they backed into a corner before Charlotte then got back to her feet and dragged Michelle off of Ronda and connected with some boots to her chest before Michelle grabbed Charlotte by her hair and slammed her down to the mat.

Halfway through the match Michelle was recovering on the outside of the ring while Ronda Rousey and Charlotte were battling it out with each other in the middle of the ring before Michelle slid into the ring with a steel chair and connected with a chair shot to the back of Charlotte and Charlotte screamed in agony before Michelle the connected with a chair shot to the gut of Ronda Rousey causing her to hunch over as she gasped for air before she was met with another chair shot to her back driving her down to the mat before Charlotte then hit a spear on Michelle knocking her down to the mat and knocking the chair out of her hands in the process as Corey graves said on commentary, "What a physical battle we have witnessed so far between these women and Charlotte could win the championship right here here's the cover "1.." "2.." wow, somehow Michelle found a way to kick out!"

Then both Charlotte and Michelle were working together momentarily as they had Ronda up for a powerbomb and were going to powerbomb her on the outside when Ronda turned it into a double armbar hanging over the top rope as both Michelle and Charlotte were screaming in agony before Michelle managed to break free and connected with a basement dropkick to Ronda causing her to break the hold as she crashed to the floor outside the ring before Michelle then hit a spear of her own on Charlotte as Michael Cole said on commentary, "And Michelle with a receipt from earlier paying tribute to her father Jacob Cass with a spear and here's a cover with the title on the line "1.." "2.." no Charlotte stays alive and this match continues."

And the end of the match came when Ronda Rousey and Charlotte were briefly working together as they took Michelle down to the mat with a double suplex before Ronda then threw Charlotte over shoulder with a judo throw and Charlotte landed hard on the mat before Ronda taunted the crowd and Michael Cole said on commentary, "And Rousey has entered fight mode!" before Michelle got back to her feet and stood behind Ronda Rousey before Ronda slowly turned around to face her and Michelle delivered a flurry of left and right hands causing Ronda to back up into a corner as Tazz said on commentary,

"Wow look at this from Michelle as she is matching Ronda strike for strike and I don't think we have ever seen Ronda try and cover up before like she is here against Michelle!" and Charlotte tried to drag Michelle off of Ronda Michelle turned around and gave Charlotte a flurry of left and right hands backing her up into a corner on the other side of the ring as Michael Cole said on commentary,

"And now Michelle is lighting up Charlotte with the left and right hands forcing her into a corner on the other side of the ring."

Then Michelle ran at Ronda on one side of the ring and connected with a dropkick in the corner before she got back to her feet and charged at Charlotte on the other side of the ring looking to hit a dropkick on her in the corner but Charlotte connected with another spear as Michael Cole said on commentary, "And Charlotte with another spear to Michelle now she is trying to lock in the figure four before bridging into the figure 8 and there it is the figure 8 will Michelle be forced to tap out here? If she does we will have a new Smackdown women's champion!"

Ronda Rousey then broke up the submission after Michelle was inches away from tapping out as Tazz said on commentary, "And Ronda was able to break the submission in time with a boot to the gut of Charlotte forcing her to break the hold as it looked like Michelle was seconds away from tapping out." before Ronda then rolled through with Charlotte up on her shoulders before planting her on the mat with piper's pit before she then grabbed a hold of one Charlotte's arms and applied an armbar and within seconds of Ronda applying the hold Charlotte was frantically tapping out and the referee called for the bell and the match was over.

And Greg Hamilton said, "Ladies and gentlemen here is your winner and the new WWE Smackdown women's champion the baddest woman on the planet ROWDY RONDA ROUSEY!" and the referee handed the championship to Ronda Rousey and she celebrated in the ring for a few minutes before she pulled Michelle up to her feet and embraced her in a hug and Michelle was frustrated she didn't win but at the same time she was happy knowing Charlotte wasn't the champion before Ronda said to her,

"This is your moment Michelle, I'll give you and your girlfriend a chance to say goodbye to the WWE universe." before she walked off with her championship over her shoulder leaving Michelle in the ring alone.

Michelle's girlfriend Christie then came down to the ring to join her girlfriend inside the ring as Michelle asked for a couple of microphones and handed one to her girlfriend and took a deep breath as she said on the mic, "Thank you everyone who was able to make it tonight, and I know a lot of you guys are upset I didn't win here tonight but that's ok because tonight...tonight was my last match in WWE and I hope all of you will stick with me on my journey wherever it may take me and my beautiful girlfriend next."

Then Christie hemme said on the mic, "Yeah we would both like to thank each and every one of you from the bottom of our hearts, and this isn't goodbye it's just see you later because never say never!" and the crowd started loudly chanting "Thank you Cass, Thank you Cass" as the show went off the air.
