Chapter 10

Later Regina asked Adam and Laura to go and get them some food as they were working on costumes all day. So they gave them their orders, and they went to get them. They were talking and drinking sodas. "So, this idiot tried to get into your mind and met up with G Pa Yi?" Said Laura.

"Yep," he smirked. "And got 'Instant Hell Murdered'."

"Serves him right. Yi, don't play." Just then a couple of thugs got in front of them with guns pointed at them.

"Wallets, Phones, and Jewelry!" Said one of them. "NOW!" Adam just looked at them.

"Shoot!" He said, one of them pointed his gun at Laura. She just looked at him.

"Really?" She said, but before anyone could do anything, someone leaped down on top of the guys. He was a young man, bald, in a white tank top, black cargo pants, and boots. He was almost as tall as Adam and just as buffed.

"Now I know you ain't trying to mug my best friends are you?" He said, the muggers just looked at him and one was about to point his gun at the hero when Laura grabbed his arm forcing him to drop the gun. Adam stomped his knee, making the mugger scream out in pain. Then the guy decked him with a quick right and tied both to a light post.

"They never learn," said Laura.

"Good to see you two," the guy said. "Meet you at the house."

"Oh yeah, we have to talk anyway." Said Adam, with that they went their separate ways.

(Williams Manor)

Adam and Laura had returned with dinner. They took a break and started to eat, the girls were making comments about their outfits. "I love your new outfit, Train." Said Maria.

"Thanks." He said it was a black bodysuit, with a white vest, with black tribal designs starting at the chest going over the shoulders, a sleeveless zipped hoodie with the front of a locomotive on the back, gauntlets, boots, and a blood-red gaiter. He was looking at it on a mannequin, "hmm. What do you think Mom?" Regina looked at the uniform and tears fell from her eyes.

"It's wonderful honey." She said. The others looked great as well. Everyone was putting the finishing touches on their costumes. That was when there was someone at the door. It was the guy that had saved Adam and Laura. Only this time he was dressed in a T-shirt, jeans, boots, an overcoat, and a head rag.

"Hey, Train." He said, they slapped hands. Adam pulled him in for a hug and they did a Wakandian Salute. (Crossing their arms on their chest)

"Good to see you, 'Caboose'." He said, 'Caboose's real name was Jason Jordan (I just like the name), Regina saw him and had gone over to hug her godson.

"Hey auntie," he said, as she hugged him. Then Jessica had gone over to him and hugged him as well.

"Let me introduce you to my wives." Said Adam.

"Wives? As in plural?"

"Yep," the girls looked over to them and they were in shock. Ayla was giddy and blood was coming from her nose.

"JEEZ, TRAIN! EVERY GUY YOU KNOW A FREAKING HUNK?" She said, the guys laughed.

"You eat yet?" Asked Adam.

"You willing to feed me?"

"I did make a stop, got your favorite." Adam handed Jason a bag. In it were tacos and burritos.

"Thanks man," he sees what they were doing. "X-Mas Kon?"

"Yep," said Jess. "Train did my costume."

"Who you going as 'Lil' J'?"

"DJ Jingle."

"DJ Jingle?" he pointed to Adam. "Your character."

"Yeah, I didn't know she wanted to go as her."

"And everyone else?"

"I'll go out and say it. We're going as your characters."

"What?"

"Yeah, let me introduce you." He went to Kathi first, "this is Kathi Mera, she's going as Amphi, the 'Sea's Wife'." Kathi's hair was tied back in a ponytail. She was in a T-shirt and jeans, working on a gold and black bodysuit, and snacking on some shrimp.

"Nice to meet you." She said, "Adam what do you think?" They looked at the costume.

"What do you think Caboose?"

"Can I see your measuring tape?" He asked her.

"Sure," she handed it to him.

"Stand up," she did and he measured her. Kathi's hips were a little small. He hmmed, then he measured her chest. "You know how to pick them, Train." Then got her height, "she's perfect." Kathi blushed, "let in the hips in the bodysuit."

"Really?"

"They're too wide by an inch."

"I told you, you're thinner than you think you are." Said Adam, Kathi nodded. "Hey, we're fine." He grabbed her hands, "how many times do I have to say it? All of you are freaking gorgeous! I'm not saying that, because I'm entitled." He elbowed Jason, "right 'Uce'?"

"Yeah, wouldn't be surprised you found her in the 'Moulon Rogue'." They looked at him, "You Didn't?" Adam nodded.

"I was a dancer there." She said.

"I repeat, you know how to pick them 'Uce'." Adam chuckled, then they went to Alix. She was working on a costume it was of a ninja skater, her outfit was a red, gold, blue and white bodysuit, with gold knee and elbow pads. The skates were also gold and looked to be fast.

"What do you think Train?" She asked, they looked at the costume.

"It's good looking," he said. "This is Jason, one of my closest friends and creator of the characters."

"Nice to meet you." She said.

"You too." Said Jason.

"What do you think 'Uce'?"

"It's perfect, I like it."

"This is Alix Kubdel."

"So, he's the one that created these characters?" She said.

"Yep."

"Well, I think this is a good idea, talking to him." Then they went over to Ayla, her outfit was getting an upgrade.

She looked like a cowgirl biker, "Adam are you almost done with my guitar?" Adam had pulled out a white and gold guitar.

"What you think?" He said, Ayla grabbed and hugged him tightly.

"Thank you, Adam!" She said.

"Okay, this is Jason."

"He created her?"

"Yep," said Jason. "I like what you did to her costume. The guitar is a nice touch 'Uce'."

"That's what I thought." Said Adam, "anyway this is Ayla Cesare."

"Nice to meet you." Finally, they went to Maria and Laura, they were both working on the same outfit. A white tank top, cargo pants and boots.

"Well," she said. "I'm done. What do you think?" Adam looked at the costume and smiled.

"That tank top's a sports bra," he said. "Isn't it?" Maria nodded.

"Going to show off your abs?" Asked Jason.

"Yep," she blushed. "And my cleavage."

"You are a little bigger." Said Adam. "This is Marinette Dupain-Cheng. Maria, this is Jason Jordan."

"How you doing?" He said, as he brought his hand to shake hers.

"I'm fine, nice to meet you Jason."

"Let me see yours, 'Uce'." Said Jason, Adam shrugged and showed his outfit. "Much better."

"So you think we're ready?"

"Yeah."

"Aren't you going to X-mas Kon?" Asked Maria.

"Yeah, me and Adam are going to be part of the panel." Adam was shocked.

"Wait, I didn't know this." Jason handed him the letter.

"Okay, I'll join the panel. Who's all going to be there?"

"Just some writers and artists."

"Want me to dress up?"

"If you want, I'm doing it."

"Alright, I might have a new outfit for X-Mas Kon anyway." They looked at Adam.

"NEW OUTFIT?"

"Yeah."

"What is it?" Said Maria.

"He's not going to tell." Said Jason, Laura nodded.

"We've known him a little longer than you Maria." She said.

"I'll tell ya this," said Adam. "It's how you think I'd be."

"We'll have to wait and see." Said Regina.
