Click, Clack, Click, Clack, Click, Clack, Click, Clack. Those were the devastating sounds of Severus Snape as he moved toward the group of people. He had a look of contempt on his face, especially since over half the people in the room were or once we're Gryffindor students. That didn't matter, should it? If Karlito explained the situation, then maybe Snape would listen.

As Karlito opened his lips, a hand smacked his face. Karlito flipped back and landed on the crook of his neck. He thought he heard a snap, but he was alright, so that didn't matter right now. "Look, Snape-" Karlito had to dodge another blow. "Shut it, before a cut you open. How dare you associate with filthy traitors and...mudblood scum! Now, I'll clump you in with them when they see the Dementor's Kiss!"

"Say what? You wouldn't do that to these poor kids, would you, Severus?" "Lupin...not glad at all to see your alive. I wish I had done the job myself!" "Oh, sure you do. I believe you. But now isn't the time to hatch old rivalries. Listen, we have him. Peter Pettigrew. The man who really killed James and Lily." The way he said Harry's mother's name, made all of the students shiver. Was there something there?

Hermione smiled and cracked a little joke. "Snape could've been your father, Harry." Before that joke could register, Snape raised his wand menacingly. "Sempertatus!" A huge cut appeared on Hermione's face. She tried to wipe it, but it leaked significantly. Karlito took out his wand. "Tamper." The gash was plugged with a small lining. "That should work until we get out of here." "The only time you'll get out of here is by death." That was Snape.

Karlito stood up and readied his wand. "You've got a big mouth for a guy with miniature balls." "What did you say?" "Oh, nothing, but McGonagall told me you wanted to bone her, but you could barely get it up! And when she kissed you on the lips, you nutted immediately!" "That...that is a lie! Secrum!" It took a moment before Harry realized Karlito was stalling. Everyone crawled to behind Snape and etched towards the door.

"No! It's the truth! Even Flitwick said you tried to bone a mannequin!" "Liar! Die, nitwit!" By then, everyone was at the exit. With a wave of his wand, Severus was knocked out and tied up by Sirius. They had already ropped up Pettigrew. They dragged outside, only to see Dementors swirling everywhere, no doubt looking for them. Hermione was sweating machine gun bullets. "Where do we go from here?" "We can't attract attention, not with these monsters around. They'll kill us for hurting Severus. We're outlaws."

Remus hung his head. "Sorry for dragging you into this." Harry and Karlito laughed, while Ron smiled slight and shook his head. Hermione gave a cheerful smile. "It's ok. Harry and Karlito were born for this life, and Ron is down to go anywhere. I am drug along."

"Really now?" "Yep. Now, does anyone have an idea?" "Yeah, but we have to knock him out." Karlito pointed to Pettigrew. Before the rat man could struggle, Karlito kicked his head. The man lolled, and he fell asleep. Just to make sure, Karlito checked him, then bounded him tighter. We can't have anything happening--get down!" At the last second, an Dementor swooped through. It had its fangs and claws out and managed to grab Sirius.

"No!" Karlito manged to grab hold of the man's ankle at the last second, and Harry grabbed onto his.

"Damnit! Harry, hang on! Ron, Hermione, take Remus and Pettigrew to McGonagall. Prove Sirius' innocence! Don't fail him!" They nodded and darted through the night. Karlito watched as the Dementor carried them higher and higher. The air got cold and nearly choked him. Karlito could feel all the warmth leave his body. Harry shuddered, and Karlito could feel his hand slipping. The Dementor only kept going higher and higher, to a tower besides the Hufflepuff one. It was the highest in the castle.

"Harry!" "What? I'm so sleepy...let...let me rest..." Karlito had to make a choice. Would he dive after Harry if he fell? Would he hang on and defend Sirius? Was he really like his Grandfather? No, right? Before he could think about it, Harry's grip slack and he was about to fall. Karlito reached out his arm and caught his leg. But, he still had Sirius' leg, who was attached to the Dementor, who now had almost three hundred pounds of person on his legs.

The Dementor dropped like a rock. The wind blew through their face, awakening Harry and Sirius. Karlito jumped on the back of the Dementor. Harry followed. The Dementor was gonna crash and burned, whether he liked it or not. 1000 meters...500 meters...100 meters...Slam!

The snowbank went up in shambles as the Dementor crashed. Karlito flew up and tumbled down a hill. Sirius landed on his left arm, which made a weird crack. Harry landed comfortable in dry snow. Karlito was so tired, but he couldn't sleep now. "Harry... where are you? Get up!" The boy had crawled over to Karlito. "Karlito...Sirius..." We got to go..." Harry slumped over. He didn't wake up. Sirius had crawled to Harry, but soon he fell asleep too. Karlito couldn't carry them, and he was too tired for a spell like that. Or any spell, for that matter.

Karlito didn't know what to do. He looked up and decided to find a way out. Before that, he had to decide what to do with the tens of Dementor's coming up the hill. They were muddled in a group. "Harry, Sirius, wake up...now!" Karlito tried to shake them, but they refused to wake. The Dementors got ever so closer. What should I do? Karlito thought. Suddenly, it came to him.

Could he do it? Maybe. Karlito raised his wand at the Dementors making a circle around them. "EXPECTO PATRONUM!" A light emitted from his wand. Karlito saw the silvery light develop into a figure.

"Is that a..Killer whale? They were Karlito's favorite animal, but they weren't on this side of the world. How? The whale soared high and came down. It drove away ten Dementors, but the others didn't budge. Karlito poured more power into the spell, but it didn't matter.

Karlito didn't want to die, but if that was what it took, he would protect the two people behind him.

"Expect Patronum!" The spell was activated, but Karlito didn't know what happened. He didn't do it, since his was already out. The deer and whale flew tighter together and rid away all the Dementors. They swept around until all of them had been driven away. As his Patronum disfused, Karlito only saw the outline of two males and a female as he fainted.

Karlito woke up in a comfortable bed. There was a lamp, and a bag of treats and candy. Karlito tried to get up, and did, but at the cost of his head. It started to pound as he made his way to Madam Promfrey's office. She came out, but not towards him. She brushed past him, chatting with a laughing Dumbledore. But she wasn't laughing. "How dare you let them leave? Damn you, Albus!"

"I know you're made...but..." "But, what?" "You'll just have to deal with it." Damn, wasn't that a little harsh? Especially for a man who prided himself on kindness. Just another thing he'd push to Hermione.

Karlito looked around for his friends. Only Ron was there, sleeping his knockers off. Dumbledore walked up to Karlito. He wanted to ignore him, but he would definitely have information on Harry. "Jackson Alexander..." "Beard man...…" "Hmm. It would seem you don't know where your friends are. Would you like me to tell you?" "Yeah, but I would also like for you to get a breath mint, so I guess we are at an impasse."

"Another corny joke. Tell me, what do you get when you add two plus two?" "Are you that senile? Four." "Great, so listen. When you don't do two things that add up, what happens?" "In my experience, you either get beat up, killed, or...explain, old man." "I have sent Harry and Hermione to the past with her Time Turner." "That's pretty apparent, but you mean to say that..." "Yes, I gave them the broken one...in accident. Could you imagine the the heartbreak of the Wizarding World is their amazing Boy Who Lived goes missing, and doesn't come back."

"Sheesh. You want Harry dead, to capitalize on his fame?" "No, of course not. You have a choice. Once Harry and Hermione save Sirius, (If they do) they'll be transported to his past, to the night of his parents murder. You'll have a choice. Kill Voldemort, you blood, or let Harry's parents die. Your choice."

"...That's easy." "Yes?" "I do both." "What?" "You'll see, old man." Karlito snatched the Time Turner. Of course he was bluffing, but Albus didn't need to now that. "When I come back, trust me, the world will be at peace." Karlito turned the timer and was swept into darkness.
