As Michael's appointment time gets closer he was almost bouncing in his cell, "Papi, calm down." Sucre scolds from his bunk, "Sorry, I just need to see her."
"Scofield, let's go." He follows Lewis to the infirmary; when they get there, Lewis mumbles something about needing to get something and leaves Michael alone in the waiting area.
"Morning Mr. Scofield," Katie greets him, "you can head in, Dr. Tancredi won't be too long." He nods and smiles at her before walking into the exam room and moves to look out the window. He smiles when he hears the door open and turns to face her. His smile quickly fades when he notices how exhausted and pale she looks, "What's wrong?" he asks in way of greeting, "Is, uh, is everything okay?" he glances quickly to her stomach before moving away from the window.
"Everything's fine Michael," She sees the concern in his eyes and lowers her voice, "morning sickness has kicked in this morning and it is kicking my ass, that's all." He nods slightly, quickly glancing at the door before giving her a quick peck on the cheek; she smiles sweetly at him before continuing, "Are you okay? Cleary it didn't go as planned last night."
Michael sighs, "No, it certainly didn't. They replaced the corroded pipe and we couldn't get through. I failed. I failed Lincoln. I failed you. I failed our baby." He whispers the last part and both of their stomach's flutter; before he can continue his spiral she grabs his hands.
"You listen to me Michael Scofield and you listen well," He looks from their intertwined hands to her face, noticing the fierce determination behind her eyes, "you have failed no one. You hear me? No one. Lincoln doesn't blame you, he knows how hard you have tried to help him and you certainly haven't failed me or the baby, Lincoln loves you Michael and so do we." She places his hands on her stomach, driving her point home, she see a flutter of a smile on his face.
"You're going to be such a great mom." He tells her softly and she blushes, "Especially with stern pep talks like that." They both chuckle, glad the mood has lightened, "You talked to Linc?"
"Yeah, he's okay. I told him about us, well, partly, he sort of figured it out. He's happy for you Michael. He's happy for us.
"Did you tell him about the baby?"
"No, I thought you could do that when you get him out of here." Michael drops his head, staring at the floor until Sara lifts his chin back up to look at her, "and you will do that Michael. Is there any other way you can get into this room?"
"Yes, but it's dangerous. I need to get through the pipes to the psych ward and then through the infirmary door, which isn't going to happen without setting off alarms."
"Take my key."
"No, Sara. They'll know someone gave us a key. I won't put you in the firing line like that. It's too risky for you."
"Why would anyone think I gave you my keys when I lost them at lunch?" She answers with a mischievous glint in her eye, "I'll just report it to Pope the night of so he won't have time to call anyone to change the locks or get me a new set. He'll be forced to call a locksmith the next day but by then it'll be too late."
"It's too risky Sara. Although I'm impressed with the amount of thought you have put into this." He smirks at her.
"Well there isn't much else I have been able to think about. I love you Michael and I want you out of here and with me. I do have one condition though."
"Anything."
"You keep T-Bag in these walls. Handcuff him, knock him out, blind him, whatever you have to do, I don't care. He does not leave."
"Done. God I love you." He pulls her to him for a quick kiss before she calls Lewis, while she does this Michael revises the plan, going over everything in his head. When Sara hangs up the phone he says, "One week? 7pm?"
"Done. I'll make sure I lose my keys and I'll have my phone number and address written down for you." He looks at her, shocked, "Are you sure?"
"I told you Michael, I want you with me." She gives him a shy smile before Lewis comes in to escort him back to him cell.
