Jaune woke up and yawned, looking around the cabin he shared with JNPR slowly. When he went to the mirror in the cabin's bathroom he looked up at the window hovering over his head.

[Jaune Arc The Gamer - LV 10]

Jaune squinted at the mirror. Whether it was his instinct or being accustomed to the Gamer power, something told him, the Abyss was right behind the mirror. Jaune pressed his finger to the mirror and before he knew it his hand slipped through into the Abyss.

Jaune stood up with help from a nearby stool and stepped into the Abyss.

"Whoa!" Jaune said as he fell onto some...grass?

Jaune stood up and looked around, he was in a sort of home. A quaint but pretty looking house complete with a swimming pool and a patio was where Jaune fell out into the Abyss. Jaune looked around, the house was sitting in the middle of a vast field of seemingly infinite grass. Jaune walked toward the house.

'Just what is this place?' Jaune thought as he approached the front door.

There was a small plaque next to the dark wooden door: The Gamer's home.

"Hello?" he asked when he entered it.

No response.

Jaune opened the front door and walked inside. The home was extremely clean, not to mention luxuriously simple but empty. There was a small armor rack by the kitchen island holding up a green armor set. Jaune approached it and was about to touch it when something else caught his eye.

In the bookshelf by the fireplace there was a hardcover blue book labeled: The Gamer's Guide.

Curious, Jaune grabbed it and flipped two pages ahead.

The Gamer's Guide. By Han Jihan.

Jaune turned the page over.

Chapter One: An Introduction.

The strangest thing has happened to you if you're here. Somehow, you've been given the Gamer power. Luckily, it is the most powerful thing you will ever encounter, unluckily, it also has some downsides. First, you're probably wondering who I am and what this book is doing in this house, and the home itself.

Well, my name is Han Jihan, and I've been the original Gamer for quite some time, or at least I think I am for how knowledgeable I've become about the ability. The Gamer is an extremely versatile power that manipulates the time, energy, and matter of the world around you. Needless to say, the Gamer is not of your universe, nor mine. The Abyss is an amalgamation of the fourth dimension, the abstract, and the unexplainable. The Gamer is simply a string that connects every different universe together to access the Abyss.

And no, you will not ever encounter any other Gamers in the Abyss. Despite my greatest efforts, the only extreme leaps I've made with the Gamer is creating this accessible guide. Otherwise, nothing, it is impossible to experience your Abyss outside of your own.

Every Gamer encounters a different version of the Abyss. While I can't give you any advice based on your universe I can give you an in depth guide to using the Gamer ability and the many skills and abilities it may offer.

First things first you need to understand how Mana works. However Mana is manifested in your world the Gamer will have access to it, whether in its purest form or other variations. Secondly, you're going to want to remove the most annoying default setting of the Gamer, which is your auto enter on Protected Spaces. To fix this, simply say 'Option' and set Dungeon Entry to 'Manual.'

"Option." Jaune said after reading this.

A settings menu appeared and Jaune saw the Dungeon Entry option listed in the right hand corner of the screen.

[Dungeon Entry: On]

Jaune changed it to 'Off' and continued reading.

The Gamer manipulates Mana in various ways. First, it lets you create defensive and offensive skills that increase in power with levels. The Mana shield is made after you reach a high enough level with Mana Affinity and Mana Bolt. You can also create Spinning mana attacks later, as well as other Mana abilities you have yet to discover.

The Gamer's greatest attribute is its ability to speed up the process in which you learn and master things. For instance I improved my Mana Regeneration and Jogging skills to the point where I can run faster than most people can see and have enough stamina to hit like a freight train and not get tired. However, it took a tremendous amount of time, and would've taken far more without the Gamer.

The Gamer also controls how you access the Abyss. While some Dungeons, or Protected Spaces, spawn randomly, the Abyss itself is an ever shifting maze of rooms, each one offering better rewards and stronger enemies the more you progress. I have yet to reach the Abyss' end after years of exploring it, but note that it is possibly infinite in length and may even have an end that is meant to be unreachable.

Which brings me to your home. The Home is only accessed after level 10 and a chance encounter with a Mirror of Power. If you were lucky enough to find one, the home serves as a good resting place for you after completing quests, dungeons, and training in your free time. It's complete with a swimming pool and training room to practice various skills that raise your LUK, DEX, STR, and STA stats among others.

Before I finish this section you're probably wondering how to explain this ability to others. People around you will likely notice your exponential improvement in things like studying, physical ability, and intelligence. Among other things, they can notice you suddenly disappearing from a room to come back sweating after a split second popping into the Abyss, having Telekinetic and other magical powers. The best way to explain your power is to hide it, use your regular skills around others and only use your Abilities when alone or in the Abyss.

Finally, don't be afraid. The Abyss is a strange place I have yet to fully wrap my head around, but Gamer's Mind will make sure that you will always process things logically and rationally. Another thing too, the Gamer has many abilities that will both amaze and shock you, be prepared.

Jaune put the book away in his inventory. He'd definitely need it later. According to the table of contents, there were a myriad of things Jaune had yet to uncover about the Gamer power. Jaune saw the notification that popped up after reading.

[After intense learning, you have gained +1 to WIS and INT!]

Jaune turned to the armor set and touched it.

[Samurai Armor - Received after collecting Katana from Abyss Knight. Change color? Y/N]

Jaune pressed his finger to 'Yes.'

[Choose Option: Green]

Jaune selected White.

[Equip Armor? Y/N]

Jaune pressed 'Yes.'

Jaune instantly gained his new White Armor as his usual outfit was stored in his inventory. Jaune opened the inventory option and pressed the chest piece on his icon's torso.

[Samurai Armor: +5% Resistance to Physical Damage, +5% Resistance to Magical Damage. +15% Damage using Katana and Samurai Weapons. +20% HP and AP gain.]

After reading up on his usual armor, the Samurai Armor was clearly better and Jaune decided to go with it on his next Abyss escapades. Jaune said, "Option." and read the inscription at the bottom of it.

[Leave Home? Y/N]

Jaune pressed 'Yes' and slipped out of the mirror to enter the cabin's bathroom again.
