It was november and our concert was just in a week's time. Me and Mio were figuring out the setlist for our concert.
"What song should we open with" I asked
"Probably something with a lot of energy" Mio responded "How about 'Curry Nochi Rice'?"
"'Curry Nochi Rice' huh? That would require a lot of energy from Ritsu to start us off" I remarked
At that moment Nodoka walked in "Hello guys" she said politely
"Hey there" I replied "Is there an issue?"
"I don't think Ritsu filled up the form to request stage time" Nodoka said calmly
At that moment Ritsu and Yui walked in
"Hey gu-" she was interrupted by Mio giving her a knock on the head "What was that for"
"Did you know, you have to fill a form to request stage time for the festival" said Mio " Can we still fill the form" Mio asked Nodoka while turning around to face her
"I might need to make a few adjustments but it is possible"
"Hey Kawamura, stay here with this box in your hand" Ritsu ordered me
After half an hour I heard running and a lot of panting, Sawako-sensei had walked in and was looking for the box, little did she know that it was in my possession.
"Are you looking for this?" said Ritsu with a smirk while holding the picture
"Give it back to me" said Sawako-sensei while lunging for the photo
"Ooh I will but" said Ritsu
The word but etched a look of sheer horror on the face of Sawako-sensei
"But you have to become the advisor of our club," said Ritsu, basically blackmailing her to become the club advisor. "Man Ritsu sure is persuasive" I thought to myself
"I will become your advisor but please don't release those pictures" Sawako-sensei said
"I've decided on the set-list now all we need to decide what does each band member will do" i concluded "We have decided on the instrumentation but not on the vocals" I concluded
"Who wants to volunteer to do vocals" said Ritsu looking between Mugi and Yui
"Let's have Yui do it then" said Ritsu after a moment of deliberation
While Yui picked up her guitar and tried to sing she could not
"What do we do now?" I asked Ritsu
"Don't worry,I'll teach her how to sing and play at the same time" said Sawako-sensei
After half an hour we heard knocking on the door and let them both in
"Well then time to see you shine Yui" I said
The moment she started singing I heard a raspy voice instead of Yui's voice
"What happened?" I asked
"I pushed her too hard while practicing and thus she lost her voice" said Sawako-sensei while both of them were trying to act innocent
"Acting Innocent will not get you both out of this" Mio reprimanded both of them "What do we do now?"
"Why don't you step in as vocalist for this concert" I said "I can fill in as a backing vocalist for Yui"
"N-N-No, I have stage fright" Mio said while cowering
"Come on you and I wrote the music this will be good" I persuaded
"Fine I'll do it but you are acting as the Mc for the concert" she said
"No biggie" I responded
And with that we were ready for our first ever concert
