I'm sorry it took so long for me to update. I had family over and I had to focus on school. Anyway, we will get deeper into Aang's and Katara's relationship in the next couple of chatpers. Enjoy!
I don't own ATLA or anything else in this story. Don't sue me.
Aang was the first to wake up, he was always an early riser. It was 7:20 and once he opened his eyes he saw that he was spooning his girlfriend. "I thought I fell asleep while being a little spoon? We must have changed positions during our sleep," He thought with a smile. He thought about waking up Katara, but he remembered how she hates mornings, so he decided against it. He spent the next 20 minutes enjoying his girlfriend's warmth and comfort. Once it was 7:40 am, he got up slowly and made sure not to wake up Katara. Once he was out of bed, he walked out of her room and went to the bathroom to brush his teeth. After he was finished he walked out of the bathroom and smelled pancakes. He went to the kitchen and found Gran cooking.
"Good morning, Gran! The pancakes smell delicious," He said with an upbeat attitude. He stood next to her and looked at the pancakes.
"Morning, Aang. breakfast won't be ready until another half hour. Do you usually wake up at this time?" Gran said with a warm smile.
"Yeah, I'm a morning person, but I can tell Katara isn't," He said with a chuckle, earning a laugh from Gran.
"That's right. Sokka and Hakoda are the same, they got it from my husband," She informed.
"Oh, what is your husband's name?" Aang asked curiously.
"Pakku, he passed away a few years ago," Gran said in a sad tone.
"I'm sorry to hear that," Aang said in a soft voice.
"It's okay, I know he's with me in spirit," She replied.
"The monks said that death isn't the end. Their spirit lives in our hearts and they'll always be with us," Aang said. Gran stopped cooking and looked up to him.
"You're very wise for your age. How old are you?" She asked with a warm smile.
"I'm turning 16 this Saturday," He replied.
"Really? We have to do something," Gran said with more excitement.
"Katara said she wanted a party here. I like big celebrations, but not for me," He replied.
"We can definitely have a party here. We can invite Katara's friend group and that's it," Gran said while she returned to cooking again.
"We call ourselves the Gaang. Sokka came up with it," He said with a little laugh.
"That sounds like Sokka, but why Gaang?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Gang and Aang. It made sense." He said, earning a chuckle from Gran.
"Oh, that's clever. So what do you like to do for your birthday parties?" She asked.
"Umm, well I've really never celebrated my birthday, but I love to dance, play games, and just have fun." He responded.
"Great! Hakoda and I will get working on it," She said.
"I appreciate it, but you don't have to spend so much time and effort on my birthday," He said with a smile.
"Nonsense, in this family we celebrate! You're family too," She reminded him.
"Thank you so much, I'll get out of your hair. I need to meditate anyway," He said as he turned around.
"Meditate? You do that?" Gran asked curiously.
"Yeah, it clears my mind and I can find peace," He said.
"Well, you should make Sokka and Katara meditate. Those kids bicker and fight so much it makes me want to strangle them," She joked, earning a laugh from Aang.
"I'll try my best," He replied, he turned around and went to Katara's room. She changed positions during her sleep. He saw her eyes closed and her mouth slightly opened. He found it funny and really cute. "I have to take a picture of this and tease her later," He thought while taking out his phone and took a picture of her. Once he finished, he chuckled at the picture and put it back in his pocket. He then sat down on the floor and meditated. After 20 minutes, Katara began to stir. She rubbed her eyes and saw that her boyfriend was no longer in bed. She pouted and thought, "I forgot Aang is a morning person," She sat up and stretched. Once she finished she saw her boyfriend sitting on the floor with his knuckles touching. His back was leaning on her bed.
"Aang? Why are you sitting on the floor?" She asked with confusion. He didn't respond and it worried her. She got up and crouched in front of him.
"Aang? Are you okay?" She asked while placing her hand on his knee. Aang slowly opened his eyes and smiled.
"Good morning, I was just meditating," He said, earning a raised eyebrow from his girlfriend.
"Meditating? Why?" She asked curiously.
"It clears my mind. Anyway you look beautiful," He said truthfully. She blushed and began to play with her hair nervously.
"I must look like a mess. My hair is always messy in the morning," She said with a blush still on her face.
"It is, but I still think you're beautiful." He replied, making Katara's blush even redder.
"Thanks, you're lucky, you don't have to worry about your hair." She said with a smile.
"That's true, you excited to go ice skating?" He asked.
"Yeah, when do you want to go?" She replied while turning around to lean back on her boyfriend. Aang spread his legs and let Katara's back lean on his chest and body. He wrapped his arms around her waist. Katara melted into his arms and gave a happy sigh.
"Maybe around 6:00 pm. Does your dad have work today?" Aang questioned.
"No, why?" She asked while resting the back of her head on his right shoulder.
"We could do some yard work today. Since this Saturday we are having a party." He answered.
"Wait, you were going to do yard work on your birthday?" She asked, baffled that he offered her dad to work on his yard on his birthday.
"Yeah, those shoes were really expensive and it was my first day off at the time," He answered like no big deal.
"You need to be more selfish, Aang," She said with a smile. She took out her phone to check the weather.
"What do you mean?" He asked, a bit confused.
"You're always doing stuff for others. Don't get me wrong, I love it, but working on your birthday? You're too nice!" She pointed out while going to her weather app, she saw that it was going to be 98 degrees and frowned.
"Maybe," He shrugged, "but it's who I am," He replied.
"Yeah, it's not really a bad thing. I love that you're nice." She said with a smile.
"Thanks, I love you too," He said while peppering kisses on her head. She giggled and melted into his affection.
"It's going to be 98 degrees out, are you sure you want to work?" She asked.
"Yeah, I'll be fine, don't worry," He responded.
"Kids! Breakfast is ready!" Gran yelled. Katara and Aang looked at each other and smiled. They got up to see pancakes, bacon, eggs, sausage, and hashbrowns. Sokka and Hakoda were about to dive into their food while the lovers sat down.
"This is amazing!" Aang said, ready to eat.
"I know! I wish Gran could stay here forever!" Sokka said before taking a bite of food. Gran joined them and smiled warmly.
"Thank you," Gran said to both of them.
"Why don't you live here? I think it'll be great for the kids," Hakoda pointed out.
"There's not an extra room," Gran responded while Katara took a sip of her water.
"Sokka and Katara could share a room," Hakoda replied, causing Katara to spit out her water all over her boyfriend.
"Ahhh!" Aang yelled, flinching.
"Sorry, Aang!" She said while waterbending the water off of him and bending it into the sink. Everyone else burst out into laughter.
"There's no way I'm sharing a room with Sokka!" Katara argued.
"Why not?" Hakoda replied.
"He stinks! And he's messy! Not to mention annoying!" She fired back, earning a laugh from Aang.
"Hey! I'm not that bad!" Sokka argued.
"Yes, you are!" Katara yelled.
"Katara, calm down. If you don't want to share a room with Sokka, that's okay," Hakoda said. Katara relaxed and sighed.
"Thank goodness. I would go insane," She said, earning a laugh from everyone, but her brother.
"Love you too, sis," Sokka said, a bit hurt.
"Sorry, Sokka. I love you, big bro." She said, a bit guilty she said mean things about her brother. Sokka nodded his head and returned to eating.
"Anway, Hakoda, I was thinking we could do some yard work today," Aang said.
"Oh yeah, we need to fix the sprinkler system. Because a certain someone broke the pipes," He said while looking at his daughter. Katara blushed out of embarrassment. "Curse my temper," She thought.
"Who broke them?" Aang asked curiously.
"Miss anger issues over here," Sokka said while pointing with his elbow. He said this jab at her because he was still hurt his sister called him stinky and annoying.
"I don't have anger issues!" She yelled, feeling the anger grow inside her.
"Sokka, apologize to your sister now," Gran said in a motherly voice. Sokka sighed in defeat and looked at his sister.
"Sorry, sis." He said in a low voice.
"I accept your apology," She replied, a bit smug.
"You know, Gyatso told me that if a waterbender is able to bend water violently when angry, then they are a powerful bender. I think once you become a master, you'll be a force to be reckoned with." Aang pointed out. Everyone looked at Aang with a raised eyebrow.
"Really? I can't wait to be a master!" Katara said with excitement, earning a laugh from everyone.
"Master Katara? That does sound nice," Hakoda said.
"It does, doesn't it? Once I become a master, I can finally beat you up!" Katara told her brother.
"Whatever, you're still my little sis, I can pin you down whenever," Sokka replied.
"Katara, being a master doesn't mean beating people up. It's a way to interact with the world. Plus, some waterbenders can heal! Isn't that awesome?" Aang pointed out. Everyone was surprised because they forgot their goofy Aang was a master.
"I guess, but I don't want to heal, I want to fight!" Katara said with excitement, earning a chuckle from everyone.
"Sweetie, you have a fire inside you that burns bright." Gran pointed out, making her granddaughter blush a little.
"That's one of the reasons I love you," Aang said while kissing his girlfriend on the cheek.
"Ugh," Sokka groaned.
"I love you, too," Katara replied. Everyone finished their breakfast and Gran collected the plates and cups.
"Let's go right now, Aang. In the afternoon it'll get hot," Hakoda ordered, Aang nodded and got up.
"I'll be in the living room," Katara said while kissing her boyfriend on the cheek, causing him to blush.
"Okay," He replied. Hakoda and Aang went to the garage to get some shovels and a pickaxe. After they collected their tools, they went to the backyard.
"These pipes bursted after Katara got mad at Sokka for something. We need to dig them up and replace them. I ordered some pipes that are waterbending proof. They should arrive by Sunday," Hakoda said while handing him a pickaxe.
"Okay, seems simple enough." Aang took the pickaxe and began working. When he first hit the ground with the pickaxe, he noticed how tough the ground was.
"Man, the ground is tough in Ba Sing Se," Aang pointed out, earning a chuckle from his girlfriend's dad.
"It sure is. Are you sure you want to do this? I can force Sokka to do it," Hakoda offered.
"I want to do this. Those shoes were expensive and I have to pay you back somehow," Aang replied. Hakoda nodded and saw his daughter's boyfriend strike the ground over and over again. He wished he had another pickaxe so he could help Aang, but he didn't. The plan was; when Aang finished loosening up the dirt, Hakoda would use the shovel and dig out the dirt. After ten minutes, Aang was able to reach the pipe.
"There it is," Aang said while wiping the sweat off of his forehead. Hakoda nodded and began shoveling the dirt out. After he was finished he put the shovel down and sighed.
"This is going to be a lot of work. We have to replace all the pipes and there's about 40 feet worth of them." Hakoda said. Aang looked down and saw dirt on his shirt.
"That's okay, do you have a work shirt and some shorts? I don't want to get this shirt dirty and it's too hot for sweats," Aang asked.
"Yeah, I'll be right back," Hakoda said. After a couple of minutes, Hakoda returned with only shorts.
"Where's the shirt?" Aang asked curiously.
"Just take off your shirt, it's too hot anyway. Plus you'll be doing the hard work, so you need to stay cool," Hakoda said. Aang nodded and took the shorts. He went inside and headed for the bathroom to change. Once he was finished he walked out with shorts on and shirtless. Katara saw him walk back outside and blushed. "He's going to work shirtless? I have to spy on him," She thought while getting up from the couch and peeking through the window.
"Alright, let's do this," Aang said while grabbing the pickaxe and getting to work. Aang hit the ground over and over and over again. He followed the pipes and he kept going until he needed a break, which would be for a while. "Damn, Aang has one hell of a work ethic!" Hakoda thought to himself. Katara saw her boyfriend work and blushed furiously. She saw his sweat glistening his body. His muscles working and veins popping out. She saw his built back work hard to break the ground. "Oh...my...goodness. That hot guy is my boyfriend! Holy crap, his muscles are insane! Ugh! I just want to pounce on him and have my way with him!" She thought, still blushing. "Wait! I'm not ready for sex!... What is this feeling? I feel like I want to have sex right now! But I'm not ready! I barely had my first kiss yesterday!" She thought again. For the next hour, she saw her hot boyfriend work tirelessly.
Hakoda glanced at the window and saw his daughter move out of the way quickly. "Is Katara spying on us?" He thought. An evil grin grew on his face.
"Hey, Aang. Let's take a break." He said. Aang nodded and dropped the pickaxe. They went to the back porch. Aang sat down while Hakoda went inside.
"Sweetie? Will you get some water for us?" Hakoda asked. Katara was still blushing and nodded. Hakoda went back outside while his daughter went to get some water. Once she got the water she went outside and handed her dad and boyfriend the glass.
"Thank you, Katara," Aang said before chugging the glass of water. Katara couldn't help but look at his chiseled abs. He was sweaty, which just made his body shiny. "Wow… just...wow," She thought. Aang finished the water and handed the glass back to her. However, she didn't grab it, which confused Aang.
"Katara? Are you okay?" He asked, he then realized she was staring at his body. He blushed furiously and let out a nervous laugh.
"Oh! I-I'm sorry. I'll j-just… get that out of your way," She said while quickly grabbing the glass and rushing back inside. Hakoda began laughing hysterically.
"Man, that was too funny! You know she was staring at you the whole time you were working," Hakoda said, making Aang blush even harder.
"R-really?" He asked, quite flattered that his girlfriend loved his body.
"Yup, did you see her face? It looks like yours right now," Hakoda teased, making Aang's blush even redder.
"I-I didn't realize," He said nervously. Hakoda let out another laugh and got up.
"Okay, let's get this over with," He said. Aang nodded and went back to work. Katara wasted no time to return to the window and watch her boyfriend, "Why won't this feeling go away? Is this normal? I'm pretty sure this is normal. I bet Aang got excited a few times while we were cuddling." Katara thought to herself. "When is the right time to have sex? A week into the relationship? A month? A year? I wish I had some advice." She thought. Another hour went by and Aang and Hakoda finally finished exposing all of the pipes.
"Good work, Aang. This Sunday we just have to install the new pipes and we're finished." Hakoda said. Aang nodded and wiped the sweat off of his forehead.
"What time is it?" He asked. Hakoda looked at his watch.
"Almost one." He answered.
"I think I'm going to head home. I'll pick up Katara around 5:00 to go ice skating," He replied.
"That's fine, I want her home by nine. Got it?" He said in a stern voice.
"I won't be late, I promise" He responded. Hakoda smiled and they went inside. He saw Katara watching T.V.
"I'm going to go home and get ready. I'll pick you up around 5" He told her. Katara nodded and walked up to her boyfriend.
"I'll miss you," She said with a blush, trying not to look at his muscles.
"I'll miss you too," He replied while leaning down for a kiss. She stood up on her tippy toes and kissed him on the lips. After a few seconds, they pulled back.
"I love you," Aang said with a smile.
"I love you, too. Text me when you get home," Katara ordered.
"Okay, bye," He said while grabbing his stuff and walked towards the door.
"Bye," She replied. Watching him leave. Once she saw she heard the front door close. She flopped back down on the couch. Hakoda was sitting on his lazy boy and smirked.
"Did you enjoy the show?" He teased, making his daughter blush.
"W-what? I don't know what you're talking about," She lied, earning a chuckle from her dad.
"I saw you spying on us. You were gawking at him," He teased again.
"Dad! No, I wasn't! I just wanted to make sure he doesn't get hurt," She lied again.
"Suuureee, sweetie," He said sarcastically. Katara turned her head and crossed her arms.
"I'm telling the truth," She lied again, but with confidence.
"Sweetie, it's okay to find your boyfriend attractive." He reassured.
"I know," She simply responded dryly. Hakoda took the hint.
"You know, he has a really good work ethic," He said, changing the subject.
"He does huh? That's good. Another thing I love about him," She said with a smile and turned her head to look at her dad.
"You and Sokka should learn from him." He said.
"What? I understand Sokka, but me? I have a great work ethic," She argued.
"I guess, but if Sokka worked with me outside today, he would complain so much that my ears would start bleeding," He joked, earning a laugh from his daughter.
"I can see that happening," She replied with a yawn.
"I'm going to take a quick nap," She said while getting up. Hakoda chuckled at the irony.
"Good work ethic huh?" He teased, earning an eye roll.
"Shut up," She said with a faint smile. Hakoda chuckled and saw his daughter retreat back to her room. Once Katara entered her room, she noticed Aang's hoodie on her chair. "He must have forgotten it." She thought. She walked up to her chair and picked up his hoodie. "Might as well put it on" She thought before she wore Aang's hoodie, she sniffed his scent. "He smells like… peaches. It smells good," She thought. After she was done, she put on the hoodie and smiled. "Man this thing is huge on me. It goes halfway down my thigh," She thought while flopping on her bed. She closed her eyes and heard her phone go off.
"I'm home! I just realized I forgot my hoodie"
"Yea, I'm wearing it right now :)" She texted back. She fluffed up her hair and took a selfie. She made sure to look cute and get her good side.
"Really? How does it fit lol"
"Super baggy and huge"
"Are you calling me fat?" Aang teased.
"Lmao no, you're just tall, (Picture of selfie)" She sent him the picture of herself.
"It looks great on you! I just realized that we don't have many pictures of each other. I need something good as my background," Aang replied, "Goodness she's so beautiful." He thought
"We could fix that tonight. I only have one picture with you, but that was when we were just friends"
"Oh yeah, I remember. We were on appa. I only have one picture of you besides the one you sent me."
"Really? I don't remember taking any other pictures." She texted back. An evil grin grew on Aang's face. He sent her the picture he took of Katara while she was asleep.
"That's because you were asleep. (Picture of Katara sleeping)"
"Aang! Delete that now!" She texted back with a blush on her face.
"Haha! Why? You look so cute!"
"My mouth is open! It's embarrassing!"
"But you look beautiful!"
"I'm gonna get you back!" She responded with a huge smile on her face.
"Not fair!"
"How?!"
"Because you're beautiful! I'll look like a fool,"
"Hmmm, you can't charm your way out of this one, Aang!" She teased.
"Awww Katara! How about this. I keep the picture, but I won't show anyone,"
"Hmm deal. What are you gonna wear?"
"I don't know. The nicest clothes I have is that flannel and khakis,"
"You should wear that. You looked very handsome in it :)" She texted back, causing her boyfriend to blush.
"Thanks, I just have to iron it. What are you going to wear?"
"I'm not sure. Should I go for a dress?"
"Lol, Katara we're going ice skating,"
"I know you goofball lol, but I thought I could change into a dress after we skate. I'm gonna wear some skinny blue jeans and a jacket to go skating,"
"Ohhh okay. That makes sense. I think you should go with that,"
"I will. I should get ready now, I have to do my makeup and shower and stuff,"
"Okay, you don't have to wear makeup though,"
"I know, but I want to. Do you not want me to?" She texted back with a worried frown.
"No, no that's not what I meant. I just know that nothing can beat your natural beauty :)"
"Now my face is red Aang! Lol"
"Lol, I aim to please,"
"Goofball. Text me when you're here. I love you,"
"I will. I love you too," Aang replied before getting up from his bed and went to the bathroom. Katara let out a sigh of happiness and was about to get up before she got another text.
"Is everything okay Kat? U and Aang left early yesterday and u guys weren't here today,"
"Everything's fine now, but something horrible happened yesterday,"
"What?! What happened? Are you okay?"
"I'm fine now, thanks to Aang. Don't tell anyone, but yesterday Jet forced himself on me. Before he could go further Aang found us and slammed Jet on the ground" Katara replied, feeling a lot sadder now. Suki read the message and gasped, "That fucking bitch! What the fuck Jet!" She thought with rage.
"Oh my god, Katara! I'm coming over as soon as school ends! Do you want something to eat?" Suki questioned.
"You don't have to do that. I'm fine now," She half lied.
"You can't stop me! What Jet did is inexcusable! He's a pussy ass bitch!" Suki replied. Katara smiled and let out a small chuckle, "Suki's the best" She thought with her eyes watering.
"He is! Could you get me a snickers bar? And a Dr. Pepper?"
"Got it!" Suki replied. Katara had a faint smile on her face before getting up from her bed and heading to the living room.
"Hey Gran, I told Suki what happened and she's coming over after school with comfort food," Katara said while sitting down on the couch.
"That's good to hear. Remember sweetie, you're not alone. If you ever feel sad or angry about what happened, you can talk to me," Gran said in a warm voice.
"Thanks, Gran," She replied, they watched T.V together for the next 10 minutes until Katara fell asleep. Her nap was two hours long. She woke up feeling much better and ready to go ice skating. When she woke up she found her Gran reading her book.
"Welcome to the land of the living, sweetie," Gran teased, earning an eye roll from her granddaughter.
"It was a great nap, what time is it?" Katara asked
"3:30" Gran simply replied.
"Suki should be arriving soon," Katara said. 5 minutes later they heard a knock at the front door. Katara got up and answered it.
"Here you go, Kat," Suki said while handing her the Snickers bar and drink. Katara accepted it and turned around to lead her friend to the living room. Once they arrived Katara put her Dr. Pepper on the coffee table and sat down. Suki followed her with a worried face.
"How are you holding up?" Suki asked in a soft voice. Katara sighed and opened her snickers bar.
"I'm doing a lot better now." She replied while taking a bite of her snickers bar.
"That's good. What happened to Jet?" Suki asked, just saying his name felt like poison in her mouth.
"He got arrested and my dad is pressing charges," Katara replied.
"Good, serves that bitch right," She said with a smirk.
"Suki, language," Gran said in a motherly voice. "He is a bitch though," Gran thought to herself.
"Sorry, Gran," Suki replied, a bit guilty.
"Something awesome happened yesterday too," Katara said, trying to change her mood to a positive one.
"What happened?" Suki asked curiously.
"Aang told me he loves me! He's my boyfriend now!" Katara said with excitement. Suki's eyes lit up and she instantly brought her best friend into a hug. Katara returned the embrace.
"Really?! That's great news, Kat! Is this his hoodie?" Suki said while breaking the hug and looking at the hoodie Katara was wearing.
"Yeah, it is, and we're going ice skating today," She said with a smile.
"Nice! We have to make you look stunning, Kat! Let's get started now!" Suki said, barely containing her excitement. Katara giggled and got up.
"Let's go. I'll tell you everything," Katara said. Suki squeaked and got up. Gran chuckled at their excitement. "To be young and in love," She thought. The girls headed to Katara's room.
"You better tell me everything! So what did he say? Where did he say it? Was it romantic? Did he bring you flowers?" Suki said while they entered Katara's room. Katara giggled and opened her closet.
"One question at a time, Suki. It was romantic, he told me on my bed," Katara replied.
"What did he say?" Suki asked, dying to know.
"Well, let me start from the beginning. Yesterday morning Ty Lee asked out Aang. Right in front of me." Katara said while looking at her best friend.
"Really? I'm guessing he rejected her right?" Suki replied.
"Yeah, he said he was interested in someone else. After Ty Lee left I asked him who he was interested in. He dodged the question and told me that he will tell me once we go skating, but then the whole Jet thing happened so we decided to skate the next day. After everything calmed down, I asked him to hold me on my bed. We were talking for a bit and I finally mustered up the courage to ask him who he was interested in," Katara said while looking at her shirts.
"What did he say?" Suki replied curiously.
"He told me the girl he was interested in was sweet, caring, strong, brave, fun, and the most beautiful girl he's ever met. He also said she had the most beautiful blue eyes and tan skin," She said with a huge blush on her face.
"Oh my god! That is romantic! When did he say he loved you?" Suki asked curiously.
"He told me that he was not only interested in me, he also loves me," Katara answered, making her blush even redder.
"I'm so happy for you, Kat! You got a nice one," She teased.
"I know I do," She said proudly.
"Well, I guess I achieved my goal, and it only took a week. I'd thought it'd be a lot harder." Suki said with a smile.
"Why?" Katara simply asked.
"You are so picky, Kat! It's not an insult, don't get me wrong. You deserve someone like Aang," Suki said, causing her best friend to roll her eyes.
"I'm not that picky. I just wanted a boyfriend who likes me for me. That's all," Katara replied.
"That's true. So tell me more about Aang. Like more personal stuff," She said with a smirk. Katara blushed and went to close her door.
"Fine, but you better not tell anyone!" She threatened. Suki rolled her eyes.
"Kat, when have I ever broken your trust? We tell each other everything! I would tell you about Sok-" She was cut off by Katara.
"Don't tell me anything you do with my idiot brother, please." She said while flopping on her bed. Suki giggled and joined her.
"I won't, but tell me about Aang," Suki said, excited to hear the answer.
"Well, there isn't much to tell. We've been together since yesterday. The most we've done is kiss." She said, blushing at the memory of kissing her boyfriend.
"That's expected. You don't want to rush things," Suki advised.
"That's what I wanted advice about. This morning, Aang was helping my dad with yard work and he had his shirt off. He looked so sexy and hot, I just wanted to pounce on him and have my way with him," Katara said with a massive blush on her face. Suki giggled and the younger girl.
"That's normal. Are you ready for sex?" Suki asked curiously.
"No! I-I mean I know I'm not ready. I barely had my first kiss yesterday, but why do I feel like I want to have sex with him right now?" Katara confessed. Suki giggled and sighed.
"You're just horny Katara. That's perfectly normal. I think you should take it slow though. Make your first time special." Suki advised. Katara rolled her eyes.
"I know I'm horny. I'm not an innocent child who knows nothing about urges. What I am wondering though, is why is it so hard to control myself?" Katara replied, with a blush, causing Suki to giggle.
"It's just how it is, but trust me, you should wait until you're ready. Make your first time special," Suki said again, causing Katara to blush even harder. Katara nodded and looked at the ceiling.
"Have you guys tongue kissed yet?" Suki asked, making Katara blush. "Will I ever stop blushing?!" she thought.
"No. I have felt his abs though," She confessed, causing Suki to giggle again.
"Well, start with that. I'm not saying to do it now or in a week, but when you feel ready. Take baby steps. But I feel like you're going to be the one to initiate the first steps. Aang is too sweet and nice, especially after what Jet did to you. I bet he's scared to be more intimate with you," Suki pointed out. Katara raised her eyebrow, she didn't think about that.
"Well, I mean, I guess that's a good thing though. I was kinda worried he would try to pressure me into sex or something," Katara replied.
"You have nothing to worry about. Sokka told me he couldn't kill a cow in a video game," Suki said with a chuckle, earning a laugh from Katara.
"That's true. I guess I don't mind starting everything. I do have one question though," Katara said, already feeling a blush form on her face. Suki looked at her and waited for her to speak.
"Did it hurt?" Katara asked curiously.
"Did having sex for the first time hurt?" She said, trying to understand Katara's question. Katara nodded nervously and waited for Suki's answer.
"Yes, it did. But every girl is different. And it depends on the size." Suki said, feeling a bit embarrassed.
"Really? What… What if Aang is…" She trailed off, not wanting to finish the sentence.
"Too big? I don't know. I mean he's nearly 6'3. That could mean he has a big package." Suki said, trying to be confident. Katara's blush turned even redder and she buried her face in her pillow.
"I hope it's not too big. I don't want to die," She said, earning a laugh from her best friend.
"Don't worry, Kat! Just tell him to be slow and gentle at first. Then before you know it you'll be in heaven," Suki said with more confidence.
"Suki! Let's change the subject, I already know enough. Thank you though," She replied, trying to get rid of her blush.
"You're welcome," Suki said with a smirk.
"Help me get ready," Katara said while getting up. Suki nodded and followed her.
"So I was thinking of wearing a dress after we skate," Katara said while looking at her closing.
"That's a good idea," Suki replied. Katara grabbed one of her favorite dresses and showed Suki.
"What do you think of this one?" She asked. Suki grabbed it and her face lit up.
"This dress is perfect! You're gonna look so hot in this thing. I bet Aang will faint," She said while admiring the dress. It was a simple sundress that was light blue. Katara blushed and grabbed the dress.
"That's the plan. I'm going to take a shower. Can you help me do my makeup?" Katara asked while heading to her dresser to grab a pair of skinny jeans, underwear, socks, and a bra.
"Of course! I'll be in the living room," Suki replied. Katara nodded and left for the restroom. After 20 minutes she finished, brushed her teeth, put deodorant on, and covered her whole body with lotion. It was the secret to soft skin. After she finished she called Suki to come to her room and help her with her makeup. Once she arrived, Katara sat down on her chair and looked at her reflection in the mirror.
"I don't want anything too crazy. Just a light touch," Katara ordered. Suki nodded and went to work. She added a bit of eyeliner, mascara, and some lipstick.
"I don't think you need foundation. Your skin is flawless," Suki said, making Katara blush.
"But knowing me, I'm going to blush the whole time. You should put at least some," Katara pointed out.
"That's not fair. I bet Aang blushes too, but he can't wear makeup. Trust me, you'll be fine," Suki reassured. Katara nodded and got up.
"How does my hair look?" Katara asked.
"Perfect. You're the only one who can pull off hair loopies," Suki teased, causing her best friend to roll her eyes. She was about to protest that hair loopies are underrated and people should give it a chance until her phone went off. She took her phone out of her pocket and saw "My Goofball Boyfriend."
"I'm here!"
"Okay, I'll be out in a bit" She replied.
