George, Higgins and Pendrick finally made their way to the station house. Myers hadn't made the journey easy but at least now they had reached the station. Higgins had swore to himself he wouldn't be back until the next morning but was now back and didn't feel too happy about it!
They sat Myers down as they sat down across from him. Pendrick got Myers a cup of water hoping he wouldn't be too mad about being struck over the head.
"Thanks." Myers said.
"What are you doing here then myers?" George asked as Pendrick sat down in an almost interrogation line in front of Myers.
"Can't tell you. Matter of…"
"National secrecy." Higgins and George rolled their eyes as said this in unison.
Myers rolled this off as he took a sip from the cup. George hadn't got enough patience for this tonight.
"Our detective is in hospital Myers. You could at least tell us if that is involved." George hissed.
"Might be." Myers shrugged.
"I can see why you find him annoying." Pendrick whispered to Higgins.
Higgins held back laughter. Myers gave him a stare but Higgins took no notice of this. It was nice to have someone finally on their side about Myers.
"Look, I'm sorry about Murdoch." Myers put his hands up, even though the three other men knew this wasn't sincere.
"But?" Higgins asked.
"I've got a job to do and this has been nice but…" Myers tried to get up but was quickly stopped by Pendrick.
"Tell us or you're not leaving." Pendrick crossed his arms.
Higgins and George were a bit surprised at this but followed Pendricks movement and crossed their own arms. Myers looked at the men in front of him. He wasn't going to get past them without a fight and could tell from the headache he had, that wasn't a fight he was going to win.
"Fine. This is national secrecy." Myers reminded them.
"I get it. Now tell us." Higgins snapped. George wasn't expecting this as Higgins was usually the more calm out of the two of them.

"Where am I?" Murdoch asked Sam, taking in his surroundings.
"You're in hospital." Sam reminded him.
"Oh that explains the pain I have in my chest." Murdoch groaned.
"Is it bad?" Sam asked worriedly.
"I have had worse."
Sam wanted to probe this further but left it open as Murdoch probably wouldn't want to discuss it right now. She just rolled her eyes and carried on talking.
"Everyone's asking after you." Sam changed the subject.
"I bet they're not. I bet they just ask out of duty."
"Maybe you don't know them as well as you think."
"Maybe."
Murdoch coughed. Sam really wanted to help but Murdoch waved her off. She couldn't do anything right now apart from talk and that's all he wanted her to do.
"How's Crabtree and Higgins? I'm sure they're already on the case." Murdoch joked.
"I don't know. They said they were going home last time I checked." Sam chuckled.
"Home?!"
"That's what I thought but they wanted to do so."
"I'm sure they'll be talking over it tomorrow."
"I think everyone will."
Before the two could say anything else, the nurse re-appeared at the door. She closed the door quietly behind her but it was clear it was time for Sam to go.
"I'll come back tomorrow."
"You'd better!" Murdoch chuckled.
Sam chuckled and stood up. She waved goodbye to Murdoch and left the room. Julia was waiting for her outside. Sam kept back crying as she wanted to stay strong. This usually was easy for Sam but it seemed harder this time. Julia soon noticed this and brought her daughter in for a hug.
"He's going to be fine." Julia whispered, putting her chin on Sam's head.
Sam nodded slightly. Julia brought Sam away from the room. They then made their way home.
"Maybe I should go back to the station." Sam said as they passed the street.
"No way. You have enough time tomorrow." Julia told her.
"But mum…" Sam tried to persuade Julia.
"No." Julia stayed firm.
Sam gave in. maybe it would be nice to have some rest. After a day like today she needed it even if she didn't agree with it. Even though Julia didn't allow Sam in the station house, they still had to walk past it on their way home.
"Why's the light on?" Sam asked, stopping.
"Don't worry. I'm sure it's the inspector working late." Julia tried to walk on.
"He's gone on holiday." Sam told her.
"Well I'm sure it's someone forgetting to turn it off."
"Mum please can we check it out." Sam pleaded.
Julia looked down at her watch. It was getting late and she was working early tomorrow but Sam wasn't going to give up. Julia sighed and nodded her head.
"Thanks mum." Sam said with a smile.
Julia watched Sam go in and then on her way home. Sam walked through the doors she knew all too well. She then heard familiar voices coming from the bullpen. However, there was one voice she didn't recognise.
"So there. That's why I'm here." Myers finished.
"You don't say!" George's voice sounded.
Sam made her quietly and slowly into the bullpen. She didn't want to disturb the conversation. She didn't until she stepped on a pen which made her slip.
"Who's there?" Higgins called out.
"I told you we were being watched." Myers hissed.
"Don't be stupid. James go and have a look." George told Pendrick.
Pendrick stood slowly. He didn't want to get involved in another fight tonight. He made his way to where the sound had come from and looked down.
"Sam!" Pendrick sighed with relief.
Sam got up and dusted herself off. She hated making a fool of herself. She then walked into the light of the bullpen.
"What are you doing here?" Higgins asked with a smile.
"I saw the light. Wondered what it was." Sam straightened her suit.
"What? On your own?" George looked around.
"No mum's gone home. I think she's working early tomorrow."
Sam soon noticed Myers staring at her. George followed her eyes and soon shook his head.
"Sam, this is Terrance Myers. Myers this is Sam Murdoch." George introduced them.
"Pleasure." Sam nodded.
"Wait Murdoch?" Myers asked, surprised.
"She's Dr Ogden's and detective Murdoch's daughter." Higgins answered.
Myers could soon see the resemblance. Sam had Julia's eyes and face with Murdoch's intelligence and wit. Myers crossed his arms once again.
"What's he doing here?" Sam finally asked.
Higgins, George and Pendrick looked at each other. Could they tell Sam what Myers had told them? Was she trusted? What were they thinking?! Of course she was! Was she?
