I took my brother to the only place I could think of. Home.
The area around us was in ruins. Even the ruins were in ruins. The place had never been explored and we were the only ones of this current time standing in its mist. Pentti looked around and remembered this place. He hated it with a passion. We stood where the palace once stood.
"Why did you bring us here? Do you have any idea how much I hated this place?" Pentti stated.
"I know you hated, but this was my home. The only place I felt safe until you took it all away from me," I stated, as I shrugged him away.
I turned around and looked at the sand all over the place.
"This was a paradise Pentti! It was perfect," I said, "Until you decided you wanted more."
"More, I deserved more! We deserved more! Our father limited us, he never even taught us what it was to be a God," Pentti stated.
"Maybe because he did want to put that burden on us. Maybe he wanted us to live a normal life here," I exclaimed.
"Normal? Iltani, we are far from normal. Even those Saiyans are far from normal! They shouldn't even be on this planet!" Pentti stated.
"Who are you to say who can and cannot be on this planet? You are not the keeper of Earth," I stated.
"No, I am your keeper," he stated, as he grasped my arms again, "We belong together sister. Don't you see it? That is the only way we can be at our most powerful."
"I don't want to be powerful. I don't even want to be a God of any kind, but I am," I replied.
"You will be powerful, only if you are by my side. Iltani, accept the fact that we are destined for each other. We are the ones to make this place an everlasting paradise," he said, as he pulled me closer and grabbed me by the waist.
"Pentti, let go of me!" I stated as I tried to shrug him off.
"We must be married! We must become one! It's the only way," he stated.
"For what Pentti? Why do you want this so much, but I don't? You know my thoughts about this, and I am disgusted by the thoughts you have of me. I know you think perversions of me. I will not be a part of this," I stated.
"If you won't be a part of it, then I will force you," he stated, as he grabbed my neck and pressed his lips to mine.
I managed to tangle my leg around his and kick him off his feet. I spat out the spit of a kiss he forced upon me. He bolted to his feet and I began to fight him. I swung kicks and punches at him in a way he never has seen.
"You have been training," he stated, "Good, this is going to be fun."
"I don't know how it is that I can defend myself with no experience, but I am not going to waste this defense by allowing you to have your way," I stated.
"I am the strongest here sister, no use fighting me," he stated as he swung a few kicks.
I grew enraged with his quick moves and feared he would manage to outdo me. I force my hands together and pushed it right toward him as a force came out of my body and collected into my hands and out as it pushed toward him. He was struck by this force and he flew a great distance away.
"I am not giving up! I won't let you get your way," I stated.
"What the fuck? How did she do that? She held no training whatsoever, unless," Pentti thought.
"You were on his planet, weren't you?" Pentti questioned.
"Who are you talking about?" I asked as I stood guarding myself.
"Lord Beerus," Pentti stated.
Suddenly I saw a flash of memory as I stood before Whis and Lord Beerus. They were happy to see me and help me. I was training with them. I then returned into reality, as my brother was then barreling toward me. He caught me off my guard and struck me in the gut.
"Aah!" I exclaimed.
"I don't want to hurt you sister, but if I must in order to get my way, then I will," Pentti stated, as he spoke into my ear.
I toppled back and held my gut, as my eyes then turned white. Pentti smiled as his eyes turned black.
"Fine, let's do this," Pentti stated.
"I'm not going with you. I'd rather die," I stated.
"Oh, I won't let you die," Pentti stated, "Not until I get what I want."
I raised my energy and let out tons of energy blasts right at him, but he swatted them away like flies and zoomed right toward me. I turned and kicked him upon his back, but he then grabbed my leg and slammed me to the ground. I couldn't fight him. He was much stronger and much faster than I was, but I wasn't giving up. I couldn't.
We continued fighting making more of a ruin of what was left of our home. Craters now were left around the grounds and sand flew all over the place from our impacts into the ground. I built up whatever energy I had left and thought about all the pain he gave me in my life. My mother, Yanzu, and our father, he killed them, and he would kill more even now to get me to do what he wanted. I didn't want it to get to that point. I was feeling drained, yet a God can go on for eternity, why was I drained so quickly?
"I thought Gods can fight for eternity, why, am I so drained already?" I questioned.
"Because you just have woken up, and haven't really tested the waters of your powers," Pentti stated.
"You would kill your sister for your foolish desires?" I added.
"I would never kill you sister, just weaken you enough to get what I want," Pentti smirked.
"So, you would force your way upon a weak person?" I questioned, "Such a vile thing to do."
"It's all I know to do," Pentti smiled.
"And you gloat about it," I stated as I finally stood tall, "Fine, let me die and you will never get what you so desire."
Pentti looked at me and saw that I held a piece of broken pottery in my hand.
"Sister, what are you doing?" Pentti questioned.
"You won't stop," I said, "You keep coming back like a nasty disease, destroying everything in its way. You have destroyed our home, our family."
The tears began to fall from my eyes, as I felt the pain all over again from my past. My hand held the broken piece of pottery tight, that my hand began to bleed.
"Iltani, I will stop fighting you," he stated, "But do not do what I think you plan to do."
"Why shouldn't I? You ruined everything. You destroyed everything," I stated as the tears rolled down my face, "You destroyed me Pentti!"
His heart began to ache at what I said to him.
"I have not destroyed you, sister, I am merely trying to wake you up," Pentti stated.
"No, you won't be waking me up. You won't get me to think like you," I stated, "I am done trying to reason with you. I'd rather end this before any mistakes are made."
Pentti slowly approached his sister as he attempted to convince her not to take her life.
"This is all your fault Pentti," I cried, as I slowly placed the broken pottery to my neck, "You caused all of this."
"Iltani," Pentti said, "No."
Somehow in the distance, someone was watching and quickly reacted. A blast came and hit Pentti out of nowhere knocking him out. I held the pottery to my neck and looked at Pentti. I didn't see him stand up or move. My eyes then went toward the direction the blast came from. I saw someone in the distance with spiked hair, and he looked mad. Again, he had a familiar appearance, but I didn't know who he was. He then vanished and appeared in front of me.
"You can drop it now Iltani, he isn't going to hurt you anymore," stated the person.
"Who are you?" I asked.
He looked to me and smiled.
"An old friend," he replied with a smile.
Suddenly Vegeta, Trunks and Goten arrived at my location.
"Iltani!" Goten stated.
He saw that I still held the broken pottery to my neck, and quickly stood in front of me.
"Iltani, please don't do this," Goten said.
"Why shouldn't I? If I die now, Pentti won't get what he wants from me. This fight would be over," I replied.
"You need to live," Goten said.
"No," I cried, "I can't live this way. I can't live anymore."
I pressed the pottery hard to my neck and drew blood.
"I'm sorry," I whispered, as I was about to slice my neck open.
Goten grabbed my hand and broke the piece I held into smaller pieces. My hand opened, releasing the pieces I held.
"No, what have you done?" I stated as I tried to reach for another piece of pottery.
Goten pulled me up and hugged me tightly.
"I can't let you do this," Goten said.
"You don't understand," I cried, as I tried to pull away.
"Goten, take her home," said the one that knocked Pentti out.
"Kakarot, what are you doing here?" Vegeta questioned.
"I followed their energy here," Goku replied, "I knew there was trouble. By the time I got to Capsule Corp, she disappeared with Pentti. I quickly tagged their energies and found them. She put up a good fight against him, but he is still stronger than her."
"What are we going to do with him?" Trunks asked.
"I'll take care of him," Goku replied.
"What are you waiting for Goten? Get her out of here," Vegeta exclaimed.
"Father," Trunks said, "I can help."
"No, you go with him to make sure she is safe," Vegeta stated.
"I can help," Trunks stated.
"Vegeta is right. Go with Goten. They are going to need you too," Goku added.
"Fine, I'll be available if you need me," Trunks said.
Trunks flew off as Goten then grabbed me and began to fly off with me.
Goku and Vegeta, waiting for Pentti to come to.
"Get up already," Goku shouted, "I know you're not unconscious. It's going to take more than a mere energy blast to knock you out."
Pentti opened his eyes and smirked.
"I guess you can tell," Pentti smirked, as he floated up from the ground and looked right to the two Saiyans.
"This isn't Lord Beerus's planet, this is our planet, and we won't let you get away with whatever you wish," Goku stated.
"I have been getting away with all I ever wished for over millennia. No one is going to stop me now," Pentti stated.
"Lord Beerus isn't here to stop us either," Vegeta stated.
"You two are a waste of time," Pentti stated, "I will find my sister and I will accomplish what the prophecy says. I will be the strongest God in all existence, even stronger than Lord Beerus himself."
"We won't let you do that," Goku stated.
"It's going to take more than that to stop us," Vegeta stated.
Deep down, Vegeta knew he couldn't beat Pentti, and he wasn't sure Goku could either, but he wasn't going to let Pentti think he can do whatever he wished, so long as Vegeta had breath in his lungs he would do whatever it took to stop Pentti.
"What are you going to do to stop me?" Pentti questioned, "Beat me up? Ha, I'm a God, I can kill you with blink of an eye."
"Then do it," Goku stated, "You're all talk and no bark. I've dealt with plenty like you. When it comes right down to it, they never had what it takes to take me down."
"You really think you can beat, a God?" Pentti questioned.
"Not sure I can beat a God yet, but I'm sure I can beat you," Goku smirked.
"Kakarot, you sure we can beat him?" Vegeta questioned.
"We have to," Goku said, "For Iltani."
"Right," Vegeta stated as he stood in his fighting stance.
"So, you want to protect my sister from me? Well, she doesn't need protection from her own brother. She needs protection from all of you. You really don't know what can happen if she doesn't join me? The prophecy says if she doesn't, she will die," Pentti stated, "I don't intend on letting her die."
"You're lying," Vegeta stated, "Prophecy doesn't say she will die! She will die if she joins you."
"She will intend to kill herself, but if we stop you now, that won't happen," Goku added.
"You really think that is her prophecy. It's a lie. I saw her future; it was shown to me. I need to have her as my wife to protect her," Pentti stated.
"What kind of protection is that? Marrying your own sister, to protect her from a prophecy. Ridiculous," Vegeta added.
"Seems like he's distracting our thoughts from something. What are you trying to do Pentti?" Goku questioned.
"All you are doing is talking," Vegeta stated, "Why don't we get on with the fight already?"
Vegeta then bolted toward Pentti and ignored Goku's request.
"Vegeta, wait!" Goku exclaimed.
Pentti stood there waiting for Vegeta to attack him. Just as Vegeta got close enough, Pentti vanished and attacked Goku. Goku didn't notice this attack and was caught off his guard. Vegeta flew towards Pentti again, as Pentti then kicked Vegeta into the air, and flew up to keep kicking him even higher. Goku then flew up to help Vegeta, but then Pentti let out a blast attack to Goku and to Vegeta and the same time. They both screamed from Pentti's strike and fell hard to the ground.
"Still think you can take me on monkeys?" Pentti questioned, "I haven't even built up my power, and neither of you can get me."
Vegeta bolted back up as he then turned Super Saiyan Blue. Goku looked up and saw Vegeta again bolting toward Pentti.
"Dammit, Vegeta!" Goku exclaimed and again flew off as he too turned Super Saiyan Blue.
"The blue hair again," Pentti smirked, "You won't catch up to me this time."
Pentti's eyes turned black and he let out an invisible energy force, again, slamming the two Saiyans to the ground and shutting their power down.
"I am a GOD! You can't defeat me!" Pentti stated.
"You sure about that?" Goku questioned, as he turned Super Saiyan Blue and stood ready to throw his strongest blast.
The Kamehameha.
Vegeta got up and built up his strength again and turned Super Saiyan Blue as well. He too prepared to send his strongest blast. The Galick Gun Attack.
The two Saiyans stood distances apart but prepared their attacks. Pentti smirked at them and stood still with his eyes blackened.
"Ka-me," Goku exclaimed, "Ha-me."
"Galick," Vegeta exclaimed.
"Ha!" Goku yelled as he let out his signature move.
"Gun!" Vegeta exclaimed as he released his attack.
Both energy blasts struck Pentti, leaving smoke everywhere. Once the smoke cleared, they realized their strongest attacks did nothing to Pentti, as they both stood shocked and worried about how to take him down.
"Now is my turn," Pentti stated as he let out a loud shout.
His energy rose to a point that he only wanted to bring fear upon these two Saiyans. It wasn't his complete power as he of course held back, but it was still strong.
Pentti then let out a blast with one hand and struck the two Saiyans unconscious.
"Thought you could beat a God, now look at you. Disgusting," Pentti stated, as he lowered his power level and his eyes were normal again.
He looked down at the two Saiyans and said, "No one is going to stop me from getting to my sister. I will have her, and she will be my wife. Not you or anyone will stop me."
Pentti then vanished and returned to his mansion.
Goku and Vegeta finally opened their eyes, as they knew Pentti was gone. They got their beaten bodies off the ground and managed to get Capsule Corp. Bulma helped them with their wounds and asked about Iltani.
"I think she's ok," Goku replied, "I sent Goten to take her home."
"What? Chi-Chi is not going to be happy to see her son bringing a girl home," Bulma said.
Both Vegeta and Goku realized this could mean trouble, as they both flew off to Mount Paos.
Mount Paos
Goten was holding Iltani in his arms as he flew with her to his home and Trunks flying right behind them. They reached Mount Paos and Goten's home. He stood on the ground still holding Iltani close to him. Trunks landed and headed for the front door, and then looked back at Goten. I was crying in his arms. I was so afraid of my brother now. I knew I couldn't take him down alone, but I also knew that no one else could. Goten let me cry as he held me close. He refused to let me go and risk my making another attempt to kill myself. Chi-Chi heard us outside and opened the front door.
"Trunks, what are you doing here?" Chi-Chi asked as she then saw Goten behind him, with someone in his arms.
"Everything will be ok," Goten whispered to me, "I won't let anything happen to you."
"Goten who is this?" Chi-Chi asked.
"Mother, could you please make some tea to help Iltani calm down?" Goten asked.
"Who is Iltani? What is going on?" Chi-Chi asked.
"I don't need to calm down," I stated as I pushed Goten away.
Goten released me and kept an eye on me.
"I don't need looking after. I need to keep my brother from accomplishing his goals," I exclaimed.
"You need a plan," Goten said.
"I had a plan until you shattered it in my hand," I stated, exposing my still bleeding hand.
Trunks quickly removed his scarf and tied it up around my hand.
"Killing yourself won't solve anything. Your brother will find another way to get what he wants," Trunks added.
"What would you know? You don't know my brother like I do! He is transfixed on his desires. There is nothing else he sees but me," I stated.
"What a minute," Chi-Chi stated, "Isn't that?"
"Yes mother, it's her," Goten replied, as he knew what his mother was about to ask.
"Well, why is she here?" Chi-Chi questioned, "She killed those innocent people live on television. Even little children have seen what she did."
"What I did was a mistake, I didn't know who my foes were just yet. I saw everyone as a foe," I replied, "I know I can't take back what I did, but I can keep it from happening again, but as long as my brother is still in search of me, more will die."
"Then go with your brother! We don't want any of your trouble here," Chi-Chi exclaimed.
"Mother, she is trying to stay away from her brother. He is the bad guy," Goten added.
"Yea, he attacked us back at Capsule Corp," Trunks said, "Right now Father and Goku are fighting him and hopefully they get him to stop."
"He won't stop, not until I die, he won't stop," I stated.
"I won't let you die," Goten stated, "Now stop saying you are going to die because it won't happen."
They both looked at Goten surprised at his sudden outburst.
"My brother has no limits. I couldn't stop him. He has more experience in using his God abilities than I do. If your fathers cannot stop him, then no can. Period," I stated, "It's pointless to think otherwise."
"Let me at least take care of your wounds properly," Goten stated.
"Why do you want to help me so much? You rescued me this morning from those men. You helped me when my brother spoke to me via meditation. That's why I was having a hard time trying to catch my breath. You took my hand placed it to your chest and had me look to your eyes. You helped me to regain normal breathing patterns. You provided shelter and food. Why would you do all that, for a stranger that can kill you in an instant?" I questioned.
"It's much more than that, but now is not the time to talk about that. You need your wounds treated," Goten said, as he walked past me and into his home.
"You will never understand. By assisting me in any way, you have placed all your loved ones in danger," I added, "My brother will not stop. I have a feeling it's my fate to fall under him."
"You will not fall," Goten stated, as he then turned to look at me.
"What would you know? You do not know my brother," I stated.
"I just may have an idea of what he is like," Goten stated.
"You don't. He has never met any of you until now. My brother is a tyrant, unstoppable. Without my father around, no one can stop my brother," I stated.
"Let's get your wounds taken care of," Goten added and walked inside his home.
"Goten is right, you need to have your wounds taken care of. Come inside," Trunks said, as he let me go ahead of him.
I walked inside the home and it reminded me of many small cozy homes from my time. Yanzu's home for one. How I missed him. I sat at the table, as Goten brought over the first aid kit. His mother made me tea to help calm my nerves. Goten first took care of my hand. I felt a tingling feeling as he held my hand and bandaged it. What was this feeling?
I quickly turned my view away from him as he looked at me. Trunks explained everything to Chi-Chi from the moment I arrived at Capsule Corp with Goten, until now. Goten then began to treat the cut on my neck. I felt his hand touching me and I felt a warmth all over. Why did I keep feeling this way? I slowly looked to him, and he then inconspicuously looked back at me. Again, I saw Yanzu staring back at me. This time I didn't want to look away, as my eyes filled with tears. How could I be seeing Yanzu in him? He is not Yanzu at all. Completely different looking and even his eyes were different than Yanzu, but still I saw him there. It was like when Yanzu and I would share afternoons together. Goten gave me a small smile as he looked back at me.
"Try not to hurt yourself again," Goten whispered, but I heard Yanzu's voice.
"Yanzu," I whispered, accidentally.
"Uh," Goten stuttered.
Then I realized he wasn't Yanzu, and I pushed away from him.
"What is this you are doing to me? Who are you?" I questioned.
"I don't understand what you are asking me," Goten said.
"You look like someone I know, knew, when you look at me a certain way," I said, "how is that possible?"
"I'm sorry, I don't understand. I can't be someone you knew, we just met today," he said.
"Are you doing a trick on me? It isn't the first time I see this from you," I said, "Stop it! Stop doing it."
"I'm not doing anything," Goten said.
"Iltani, what's the matter?" Chi-Chi asked.
"I don't understand any of this," I stated, "I don't understand why just why you?"
"I think it's time you rested for a bit," Goten said, "You can rest in my room. I'll stay on the couch."
"I'm not exhausted," I stated.
"After everything you went through today, I think you do need a rest," Chi-Chi added.
"Yea, they're right Iltani, you should rest," Trunks added.
"Come, I'll take you to my room," Goten said, as he walked in the direction of his room.
I looked around and then I looked at Goten. I wanted to know why I kept seeing Yanzu in him. I knew it had to be a trick and I was going to make him stop it.
"Here, you can rest in here. If you need anything else just let me know," Goten said.
"There is one thing," I said, as I turned to look right at him.
"What is it?" he asked.
"Why? Why try to protect me?" I asked.
"It's the right thing to do," Goten replied.
"You knew where I was when I came to life. You pulled me into that vendor's place. You brought me to your friends, and didn't even fear that I could harm you, why is that?" I asked.
"I knew you wouldn't harm me," he said, "Let's just say, I saw something in you that made me believe you wouldn't hurt me in any way."
"You saw something in me?" I questioned.
"Yea," Goten replied.
"What did you see?" I asked.
"I saw," Goten stuttered, as he then remembered his dreams of me, "I saw a carefree girl trapped in a world she didn't belong in. Scared for her life, that everyone was out to get her."
"You saw that in me?" I asked.
"That, and," he said, as he approached me, "I saw something else."
"What?" I questioned, "What did you see?"
"I saw you," he replied.
I slowly stepped away and blushed.
"You, you saw me? I don't understand," I added, as I looked back to him.
Goten wanted so bad to just do what he has done in his dreams to me, and that was run away into the fields and be free. He wanted to tell me all about his dreams, but he knew I wasn't ready to hear them.
"I think you should rest now," Goten added, as he slowly stepped out of the room.
"Goten," I stated as I approached him.
He quickly turned around and walked back into his room. I quickly hugged him, as he then smiled and held me in his arms. I felt his heart beating rapidly in his chest, as even mine began to do the same.
"Thank you," I added.
"You're welcome," he smiled.
I looked up to him, as his eyes, looked right into me once more. Something was taking place at that moment, but then I pulled away quickly, ashamed of having been that close to him. I turned and walked toward the bed. Goten smiled and left his room. I turned to look back and saw him leave out of sight. I held a small smile upon my face and then rested upon his bed.
