Staring into the blue flames of the eerie forge he pondered what the underworld's lord had requested. He has been assigned to craft a new weapon for the young ronin. He had yet to be given a request so he had no clue of what form blade create. His creation had to perfect if he only knew what type of blade to make. His thoughts were cut short at a puff of blue smoke from behind him.

"How's the crafting going Mr. Blacksmith?" Hades asked

"I seem to hit a bit of a snag, I don't what type of blade to craft," Flint mumbled

The villain clicked his tongue throwing his arm over the craftsman's shoulder. In a puff of smoke various materials appeared around the forge. He could work with these sure but they still didn't stolve his issue. With another wave of his hand the young warrior appeared with a look of confusion on his features. Casually the warrior rested against the wall behind him taking in his surrounding. Lazily he began to fiddle with sword on his hip.

"So what's goin' on boss?" The ronin questioned

" Lupis be a pal and tell your new friend here about your perfect weapon." Hades muttered with a weak wave

The warrior froze eyes going wide his going blank at the inquiry. He hadn't expected this question, the thought of his dream weapon never crossed his mind. Slowly he tried to process the question his eyes clenched shut. He pictured a weapon similar like that of his teacher. With sudden strike on inspiration he rushed to a nearby designing table. In a blur of motion he started sketch the weapon of his dreams. Once he finished he slammed the pencil down turning to Flint raising a brow curiously.

"Think you can make that blacksmith?" Lupus asked smirking

Flint relaxed against the table studying the blueprint a slight smile forming. It looked rather simple with the blade of a cutlass and a curved handle. The blade seemed appeared to be coming from the mouth of a hound taking the appearance of a flame. The eyes were made from a green gemstone that glowed according to his description. A plan forming he grabbed a piece of metal pointing it at the ronin with a grin.

"Easily." Flint announced

With a snarl Elrena stabbed her blade into grass beneath her feet. Glaring at the aged wizard in front of her she twitched in frustration. Blowing a smoke ring the wizard turned teacher raised a brow. As he blew another smoke ring a fresh target appeared taking the form of the dancer nobody. He watched his pupil snatch up her blade leaping at the enemy. Hitting the target with a series slashes Elrena bounced off it before throwing her blade. Her weapon rushed through the opponent like a spear finishing it off.

"I keep telling you old man fighting is the easy part!" Elrena snapped flipping to the ground

"I can't help you inprove if you don't explain where you're having trouble child." Merlin chided

Landing beside the wizard Elrena dropped to her knees. Face twisted in confusion she faced the ground not wanting to look up. Digging her fingers into the soil she couldn't find the right words to explain herself. At the feel of a hand on her head she flinched before looking up at the wizard. He wore a knowing smile as he slowly nodded as if agreeing to something she had yet to say.

"You wish to strengthen your bond with the light?" he inquired

"Yes." she replied with her own nod -
A dark corridor formed within Yen Sid's study as a cloaked figure appeared. The figure worn a loose cloak in a matching shade of blue as the grandmaster. Perching on the edge of the desk they pulled their hood down revealing inky black hair. Smoky grey eyes studied the master a calm smile on his face. Slowly the Master removed his hat rubbing his forehead closing his eyes in thought.

"I take it your visit to Ansem the Wise went well?" Yen Sid asked

"It went well but his news wasn't good." The visitor muttered pushing his hair back

"Care to explain Walt?" Yen Sid asked tilting his head slightly

"According to their research mages are disappearing from every world." Walt whispered with a deep frown

Slowly the words sunk in for Yen Sid, only one thing that needed that much magic. That being was one of the first heartless to come to the realm of light. The first artificial heartless known simply as, The Horned King. A power being strong enough in the darkness his mere presence could corrupt you. If he had fallen shown himself they were going to be in deep trouble.
