I look at them as the drive off. I look at ma,
"Was that.."
"Yea that's the daughter you never told me you had."
I drop me head, "It's not like that."
"Then what is it like?'
I turn and look at the Saviors leader, "Me being young and stupid, making mistakes. Her mother told me she was pregnant. I may have been young but I was gonna be a dad I was happy. We got in a fight and next thing I knew she was telling me she killed my kid, that she didn't want to bring a kid into this world. So I left a few months later and found out she was lying, so I went to confront her. I was there when she was born."
"Why do I feel a but coming on?"
"She's not my kid, or at least I didn't think she was. I knew she was messing around behind my back so I couldn't be sure."
I explain them the whole thing and my side of the story. I still couldn't blame her for hating me. We all look at the road even after their gone. I start to chuckle,
"I'll tell you one thing, she's got that teller temper. She bout knocked me on my ass when just that shove."
I turn and look at John, "How and why did you swear her in?"
"It's not that I wanted to cause at the time I still ran off that rule females can't run with us." He chuckles, "She proved me wrong in that very quickly."
"I first met her around the age 6 or 7. Her mother was a regular around the club and I remember this little 6 year old walking around, not bother by these grown scary looking men. I saw her more over the years and begin talking to her and getting to know her. One thing lead to another and I started seeing her as my daughter, then Happy showed up. I remember when they first laid eyes on each other. It was that instant brother and sister relationship. I didn't know he was training her at all. She was sixteen when she first asked me to join I told her no. She kept asking for months, I finally told if she could out shoot Malcom, then she could join hell take his rank. Lets just say Malcom aint our best shot any more. That girl that just pulled off from here, has a heart of gold and loves everyone. She tries to see the good in everyone but they don't see it in her. She doesn't have many friends but the ones she does have she'd kill for. She's saved my life more times then I can count."
"How did she end up with you daughter?"
He smiled, "It was it was happy all over again. Lizzy came to live me bout the time Sara wanted to join. I remember sitting in the bar with her and as soon as Lizzy walked in she had her hooked. I remember Lizzy walking up to me and finally making eye contact with Sara. I would have normally shut that shit down but the look in their eyes. I knew they were made for each other. It took some convincing especially on Sara's part."
"Why."
"Lizzy's the boss's daughter, how would it look the first sworn in female hitting on the boss's daughter. I found it quite funny Lizzy would do things just to make Sara squirm. It finally all came to head when Lizzy got into a bad relationship. The guy hit her one time, it took the whole club to get her off him. The next day I walk in Lizzy is sitting in Sara's lap like it's nothing. They've been together ever since."
