July 1st dear diary I didn't write last month as we were so so busy with classes workshops Sam and Jake's high school graduation and more. Jake and Sam are going to school at San Diego state in the fall they will commute from home. We all had such a fun month and really enjoyed our adventures. We found out in the middle of June that Reggie is having a boy and Madeline is having a girl. They are having a joint shower later this month and Madeline has asked me to be in the room with her along with mom her mom Marie and aunt Helen. Ian will wait outside since he doesn't like as he calls it yukky stuff like blood. She had asked Reggie but she said no thanks. We also started the summer garden last month and its growing very very nicely we will have so many fresh veggies and fruits this fall and winter. I am signing off mom needs help hanging the laundry out to dry as she currently is in a cast after breaking her wrist and 3 fingers.
July 2nd dear diary we spent today packing for a week at the beach to celebrate Elsie and Luke turning 12 tomorrow and the 4th yes he is a firecracker baby. We all needed new swim clothes and a few other items. I will write when we get back from that trip and a trip to see Ellen's friend Ann get Married. Tty the 12th diary
July 12th dear diary we arrived home late last night from an amazing amazing trip while we were gone Elsie turned 12 and she is away for the rest of the month visiting her friends in New York as her big gift. We spent today doing a huge monthly shopping trip and getting supplies for school starting next month. We had lunch with a friend of dads who is visiting for a few weeks for work. We then went and picked Ellen and Daniel back up from the airport as they had stayed to visit friends for an extra week. We are having an awesome summer so far its been busy and both boys are now talking a little they can say mama dada Elsie my name and Ellen. We all love working out here in the country as its peaceful and very quiet so we can get a lot done. Mom will get her cast off tomorrow so that's a good thing but it looks like Clara may be going into one depending on what we find out she smashed her fingers in the barn door last night. Signing off I am over stimulated and getting a headache so need to rest and relax tty tomorrow.
July 13th dear diary we spent today at various appointments Clara did break 2 fingers but instead of a cast they braced her. My doctor upped my migraine meds and also started me on meds to deal with some girl stuff issues. We all had dentist appointments and are all doing good in that department. We had lunch at the diner and went to see a movie before going home and swimming the afternoon away. Well I am signing off need to wash my hair and have ,mom put my ear drops in.
July 20th dear diary sorry for not writing in a week we took another min trip to New York and Washington DC. It was a ton of fun and we all really really enjoyed being together as a family we saw so much fun stuff. I am signing off as mom wants me to pack for our next adventure to Japan and that I will write when we get back sorry for not writing very much diary.
September 1st dear diary we have been home for 3 days and are finally feeling less jet lagged. We had such an amazing adventure and learned so much I will be right back mom needs me I am back Madeline is in early labor. Mom just went to call her mom and aunt Helen who will bring Marie. We are all situated in the bathroom at her and Ian's she is only slightly dilated and dad just left to get her mom from the airport . It has now been several hours and she is nearly ready to push will write after the babies here. It is now 11:30 and 30 Minutes ago baby Olivia Grace was born she looks like her mommy with her daddies chin and ears. She weighs 6 pounds even and is 15 inches long. It was so neat to watch her come into the world and see her daddy hold her for the 1st time. Well I am going to sign off and get ready for bed as it late and I have work tomorrow and also a meeting to plan mine and Susie's sweet 16.
September 2nd dear diary we all went and visited Madeline Ian and baby Olivia this morning and Gwen was in love she like Clara is a baby whisperer. We then headed to work or school before meeting for a sweet 16 planning meeting. I forgot to mention this last night but bay Olivia was born on what would have been her great grandpas 105th birthday so that's really really special. His name was Oliver so she is named the girl version of his name which is so special. For our sweet 16 we decided on a very special formal dance party at a local ballroom dance school. Elsie is in charge of the cake while Phil and Kate will make all the food at the Bistro his dad opened when we were 6. well I need to work on some home work so will write tomorrow.
September 3rd dear diary today was a full school day and we all got a lot done on several projects. Susie Zack Chucky and I left half way through to meet Susie's sister at her studio to design our dresses and the boys suits. My dress is so pretty its a lavender and lilac checkered velvet with a halter top and matching jacket it also has a fitted bodice and very long skirt. Susie's is the same style but done in shades of pink. The guys will wear shirts and jackets in the colors of the dresses and black pants ties and suspenders. We also met Kate and Phil for a menu discussion. We decided on a buffet style pasta bar with choice of sauces toppings and breads. For our cake Elsie is making a huge 16 out of half vanilla and half chocolate cupcakes with opposite butter creams so chocolate on the vanilla and vanilla on the chocolate. They will be topped with purple and yellow sprinkles and glitter. I am signing off to read I just started Rascal by Sterling North its cute so far.
September 6th dear diary sorry about not writing I ended up with a sinus infection and an ear ache so took 2 days off. Reggie had her son Raymond Daniel at 5:55 this morning on what would have been his grandmas 60th birthday. He weighs 8 pounds even is 18 inches long and looks like his Daddy but with his mommies eye color and ears. We got to see him this afternoon hes adorable and sweet. There parents came in late yesterday as she went in to labor yesterday morning. I am signing off till the 10th as we are all helping with the new babies for a couple days.
September 10th dear diary at 11:25 this morning I officially turned sweet 16 and mom took all us older girls including Elsie Theresa and the others near there age to the spa. We really really enjoyed it a lot. Then Susie's sister and mom took us all out for a light lunch and some shopping it was fun. We then headed to set up for our party and relax as it was going to be a very very fun and long night. We all danced the night away and learned several new dances which were fun. Her big ticket item is that she and Alicia are going to Paris fashion week this spring. Mine is a special rocking chair that was handed down to each first born daughter in my moms family since the time of my great great great great grandmother so I am the 6th generation to use this sewing chair the only new thing about it is the cushions that the mother of each women makes. Zack bought me a very very beautiful diamond Eeyore necklace and earring set. We also got stuff for our hop chests clothes and other fun stuff my sisters worked together to make me a new cover for my baby blanket as its kind of falling apart. They snuck in and borrowed it for 2 weeks and I thought I lost it. They also chipped in to get baby teddy fixed as good as new. Signing off its after midnight and I am exhausted and wound up really really bad.
September 30th dear diary we spent the last several days dealing with some family stuff I am not really allowed to discuss but I will and can say someone did something really really bad to one of Dads nieces and we had to deal with it until his oldest sister could come get them as she is single and can't have babies she will be a great mom to the 4 of them. Its been a bad crazy time dealing with it and we were all worried and scared for faith everything will be ok but she is super anxious right now. I will write tomorrow we are going to dinner before they all leave for there new home in Arizona.
