Akame slowly opened her eyes and looked to Kurome, her eyes were open and she was watching her sleep still holding onto her hand
"Morning." Akame said with a smile
"Good morning." Kurome greeted sitting up slowly looking around the room she saw Akame first and foremost, her eyes then turned to the other two occupants, being a blond girl and a girl with black and red hair, they were leaning next to each other, the blond girl was sleeping with a smile and the other seemed to be having a nightmare
"Who are they?"
"Our cousins." Akame answered earning a hum from Kurome, looking around she let out a sigh
"I need a new weapon." she said standing up from the bed
"I took the one that White Fang member was using, the one that damaged you, but Blake told me that man can summon it to him once a day using his semblance." Akame explained standing up from her seat and gestured for Kurome to follow her, exiting into the camp they watched the faunus run around working hard to break down camp, near the edge of camp stood two people, Blake and Sienna Khan
"Again I am very sorry for what Adam has done to you and the White Fang." Sienna said with a bow, Blake let out a sigh
"As I said, you don't need to worry about it. We're here to help... well... most of us, I cant stick around I have to go with my team." she said then sighed "I honestly wish I could stay... but... well... I am a little scared of what Ruby might do." she added lowering her voice into a whisper
"I can understand that." Sienna commented "Something about her just... screams for us that she is dangerous." she explained looking over to the tent catching the two girls
"We need a Katana." Akame said causing Blake and Sienna to share a look
"Wh-"
"So we can fight." Kurome answered with a sigh, she was clearly irritated by all the questions people kept throwing their way, they just wanted to fight and die, to get it over with at this point
"I know that you two have differenc-" Blake began but stopped when Akame rested Murasame on her shoulder, she didn't even notice Akame draw the blade
"Just. Do. It." she ordered coldly causing Blake to take a few steps back and look around a bit
"Give me... a few minutes." she quickly said walking away quickly
"Does she do that often?" Sienna asked looking to them, both shrugged
"Hey you two- oh shit." Qrows voice came as he turned to walk away
"Qrow." Sienna said surprise in her voice as he slowly turned back to face them
"Hey!... Sienna it's... good... to see you." he greeted awkwardly earning a raised eyebrow from Akame
"Father what is your relation to this woman?" Kurome asked with a smile, she knew exactly what she did
"'Father' is it? So who is the lucky... 'lady'?" Sienna asked her voice was sickeningly sweet and carried plenty of anger in it
"Um... well"
"He is our adoptive father." Akame clarified earning a nod from Sienna, her smile seemed cold and angry still
"So what is your relationship to her?" Akame asked as Kurome watched with a blank look on her face
"Me and Sienna... had... a... fling?" Qrow awkwardly answered
"Try again." Sienna ordered causing him to speak again
"One nig-" he began
"If you finish that I will break your dick off and feed it to you." she spoke her tone becoming more dangerous
"We dated for a few months... then she found that I was a human and-"
"We dated for almost two years, then you found out I was in the White Fang and broke things off... With. A. Note." she said in anger grabbing him by his collar "I would have been mildly okay, if you had done it honestly but no~ you wanted to run out and-"
why does this keep happening around her? Akame questioned, she had no idea why but every time she is involved with older men and woman they seemed to have been in a rocky relationship
"Does this happen often?" Kurome asked blankly watching the argument, Akame just let out a sigh
"Around me... yes... for some reason." she answered watching as Sienna raised her fist while Qrow was rapidly speaking trying to keep her from striking him

Leone searched around the building, no one was home like she hoped but she wasn't ready to give up yet, climbing into the training grounds she found that they have been used quite a bit, walking up a flight of stairs into the main room she found it empty, but the doors around the room seemed to lead into bedrooms, walking into the first room she found that it had building materials scattered all around, and it had red and black clothing hanging on the closet, the cape of which seemed to have been cut to shreds. Entering the next room it was clean and had white clothes hanging in its closet, the one difference was a red scarf that was lying on the desk, it had a small note on it that said 'from Ruby' on it
the next set of rooms were easier to search, the first one being Akames' and the next one being empty but the bed was being used, walking to the farthest room from all the others she pulled open the door and inhaled, it smelled just like Qrow.
Entering the room she began to look around at everything for a sign of where they were, finding his scroll lying on the desk she opened it and began to scroll through messages the first conversation in the list was with Leonardo... she just remembered that she forgot to deliver the message of an incoming attack to him... oh well... she then slid it into her top and began to leave the building in search of a way up to Haven, Qrows' scroll might help with that

"Are you sure you wanna do this?" Qrow asked as he rolled his jaw and watched as the two equipped themselves, Akame was making sure her bracers were tightened and Kurome was testing her blade swinging a few times she then sheathed it and looked over to Qrow
"I do not understand how you can attack your own sister so violently then stand against us doing the same." Kurome said causing him to sigh
"Because you two have a choice now, you aren't being effected by your drugs anymore right? So you have no reason to rush into this." he explained with a shrug
"I am still slowing down... without someone to heal my body like Raven did, I'll eventually become too weak to move. This is for the best." she answered testing the blades grip before sheathing it. Akame pulled Due Process from her belt and held it out to Qrow, who took it with a sigh
"Fine... do you want someone to witness what's about to happen? Or would you two rather be alone?" Qrow asked as they began to walk away towards the woods
"Alone." Akame answered as they entered the foliage, taking his flask from his coat he began to drink quite a bit as he walked in the opposite direction, anxiety overflowing in his heart, but there was nothing he could do, if he tried to get in the way Akame and Kurome would beat him until he couldn't, and asking has already failed so all he can do now is let events play out... hopefully they go well and they both don't end up dying from this.

Ruby opened her eyes and let out a sigh, another nightmare had plagued her and she felt like she had gotten no sleep last night so that was great... standing she began towards the flap of the tent
"Ruby?" Yangs' voice came from behind her, turning around she watched her sister stand "Thanks... last night helped me quite a bit." Yang thanked as she began to fiddle with her mechanical hand which emitted some noises
"No problem... it helped me too." Ruby said as she exited the tent in search of Ozpin, making her way to the tent he was resting in she found Oscar staring at the relic
"It's weird right?" he asked as Ruby sat down in the chair next to him
"It is... do you mind if I speak with Ozpin? I know you aren't a fan of not controlling yourself but I have a lot of questions to ask and I'd rather not have to go through translation." Ruby asked carefully, after what she saw in the lamp she began to think about everything she had done up until now and realized that she had been very... Esdeath.
"I get it... whatever you saw in this thing... it probably needs explaining." Oscar said then flashed green after releasing the relic causing it to float in place
"So what did you see?" Ozpin asked causing Ruby to sigh
"I killed everyone I know and love for Esdeath... we ended up ruling the world as bloodthirsty tyrants." Ruby answered earning a slow nod from Ozpin
"I didn't think this would have been a possibility. If I had... I probably would have told you what the relic does." he said matter-of-factly earning a sigh from Ruby
"I saw me... she said that you have lied to me more than once... is that true?" Ruby asked causing Ozpin to raise an eyebrow
"There are many things that I have withheld, but nothing that I have lied about." he answered causing Ruby to nod slowly
"Okay, I can live with that... but how do I stop that future?... isn't it... you know, set in stone?" Ruby asked a bit of desperation leaking from her voice
"Of course not. The relic of knowledge, will show you every single possibility and parade it as truth. But it does have one saving grace in being that it has a... curator of sorts, she will only come when called, and will only answer three questions every fifty years."
"But if she gives you every possible answer how do you determine which is true?" Ruby asked scratching the side of her head, Ozpin let out a quick laugh
"She is the one who sorts that out, she sees everything that has happened up until that point and shows you the best way to deal with any given situation from the head space that you are in... thus why I cant use it... my head space is nonexistent, so it would just double up on Oscar causing major damage to his mind." Ozpin explained earning a nod from Ruby
"So does that mean the future I saw was because I was furious?"
"No, at that point in time, if you had held onto your anger, or at a later point if you lash out in rage at your friends it may end up being the future that we will one day know." he said folding his hands "All the lamp itself does is show you the possibilities of the current reality you live." he finished looking over to the object with a grim look on his face
"Okay but why does it float?" Ruby then asked also staring at the object
"I have no idea." he said with a shrug
"Oh... have you though about asking it?"
"I feel like it would be a waste of a question." he said with another shrug
"Fair... I guess... I'm gonna go for a walk, and try to clear my head." Ruby said leaving the two with their thoughts
"Miss Rose, might I recommend talking with your uncle and sister, they could give you some valuable insight on your... situation." he offered as she pushed the flap of the tent open
"I might... you rest up... and enjoy the knowledge of a floating lamp." Ruby said as she exited, after a few moments Ozpin reached out and grabbed the relic
"I thought you couldn't do that?" Oscars voice echoed in his head
"I did say that... but there are somethings that we need to know, and Ruby and her team cant be trusted to know how to activate this object. If Esdeath were to learn of this... we will have so many more problems than I think we would be able to deal with so it is better to keep this information 'close to the chest' as Qrow would say." he said and held his breath for a few seconds "Jinn." he finally spoke

Qrow sat and stared off into space, every voice in his head were screaming for him to go and stop the two girls from killing each other, but he promised them he wouldn't interfere with their battle if Kurome got some rest, he had hopped that they would give up on fighting if they spent some time together but all it did was delay... with a heavy sigh he covered his eyes
"Are you feeling okay?" Siennas' voice came from behind him, with a dry laugh he spoke
"'Course... my daughter is about to fight her sister to the death. I'm doing just fine." He answered with dry sarcasm
"I was being serious." she said sitting down next to him
"So was I." he snarked again as he felt her hand rest on his shoulder
"It's okay to worry, but if you're willing to apologize for leaving me with a note I'd be willing to give you a second shot." she said actually causing Qrow to start laughing
"Is that seriously what this is about?" he laughed pushing her hand off his shoulder "By the gods you are a dick."
"Well it got you to smile so it's not all bad." she laughed out before dropping her own and spoke coldly "But I was being serious. Apologize for that."
"Fine, fine... I'm sommm... I'm sorrrm..." He struggled "Weird I cant seem to say it."
"Oh that's easy, if you cant say it, prove it." she ordered grabbing him by the scruff of his neck, and pulled them closer, this time Qrows' smile vanished entirely
"I cant do that either." he said his tone dropping into a serious one, leaning back she spoke again
"So there is someone else... who is she?" she asked with a growl "Because I want to know who was able to keep you tied down."
"She was, admittedly, very similar to you." he said trying to pull away but she held his neck tighter
"A name." she ordered causing him to roll his eyes
"Leone. Okay, her name was Leone." he said causing her to nod
"Well..." was all she said as she drew her scroll and pressed a few buttons on it "You owe me, an apology now."
"Why?"
"I just sent a woman with that same name our coordinates. Once she arrives you can tell me if she is the woman that you knew." Sienna said placing her scroll back into her pocket "Now about that apology?"
"I'm sorry." he said causing Sienna to laugh
"No, no, no, price went up." she said with smirk "I want a favor."
"If it is who I hope it is, I will pay any price you set." Qrow quickly said ignoring his gut telling him that was a bad idea
"I'll hold you to that." She said with a grin causing him to sigh
"I feel that I'll regret this."
"Probably but that's the price you're paying." she said with a shrug as she walked away, with a sigh Qrow drew his flask and drank, with a sigh he began to fiddle with the cap rolling it in his hand, the grooves along the rim that made it easier to twist were warn and some had shrunk into little more than markings

With a sigh Leone walked into Haven, after crossing the police lines she began to search, the whole place was a wreck and if it was a wreck, Qrow was probably somewhere around here, placing her hands on her hips she entered the main building she sighed no one and nothing. Most of the police had stayed out of the building, when she asked they said it was because a huntress told them she and her squad were going to take care of it, when asked for a description he said black and red hair with silver eyes, a hum drew her attention sliding her hand into her pocket she drew her scroll and read the text from Sienna, they were coordinates, switching to her map she began to move in the direction that the coordinates that she sent

Weiss stared off into the woods, Blake had joined her a while ago but neither of them had tried to start conversation, it was peaceful... for the most part. Drawing her scroll Weiss began to read the news
"Nothing about the White Fang is on here... I guess it was covered up." Weiss said and began to read deeper
"Check and see if it says anything on Lionheart." Blake ordered as she stared at the red blade in her hand
"Nothing so far... why are you carrying that around?" Weiss said after a few moments of reading
"Because when it vanishes I con get a glimpse into where Adam is, then we could strike." Blake answered, Adam had the ability to summon his blade to him if it were ever to separate from him, but it did require quite a bit of Aura so he couldn't use the ability all willy-nilly
"Smart, what is his semblance anyways?"
"Its... like Yangs but concentrated into his weapon. His body naturally produces a weapon that is best suited to him at that time. When we were younger he had a dagger, then a short sword, a broadsword for a while then it became a katana, after he had it like that for a few years he had a sheath made." Blake explained, she had already told Akame when she said that Kurome was going to use it in their fight but relented when she was informed that it would vanish
"You know, the Atlas military has been trying to figure that out for almost a decade right." Weiss said causing Blake to sigh
"Yeah... I know." Blake answered seemingly regretful of the conversation
"Blake how old are you? I mean actually. I turn twenty in... six months, and Yangs' birthday is in a few weeks, so how old are you?" Weiss asked
"I'm twenty, I'll be turning twenty-one next week." Blake answered "Why does it matter?"
"I just wanted to know, because most of the reports we have on Adam list his age as twenty-six to thirty, I wanted to know if we were in the ball park."
"He turned twenty-six last month... I think." Blake said folding her hands over the blade
"We were close... honestly I think we need to revamp the whole system. Our spy network is... very old fashion." Weiss said earning a nod from Blake
"You don't have to tell me... I was running circles around them before I learn anything from Akame."
"I'd believe it." Rubys voice came from behind them causing both of them to jump "What?" Ruby asked as Blake placed her hand over her heart
"You scared the shit out of me." Blake said as she pulled a cigar from her coat and lit it
"When did you start smoking?" Ruby asked causing Blake to blink a few times and look at the cigar, Blake just muttered to herself a bit then took a drag from the object
"A while ago." she finally answered "I don't have an addictive personality though." she added earning a nod from Weiss and Ruby
"Anyways, I wanted to ask you two... when we first met how did I act?" Ruby asked leaning on a pillar of ice that rose from the ground
"You were... sporadic, childish, easily distracted, but confident and honest." Weiss said
"You were innocents." Blake answered earning a nod from Ruby
"And what am I now?"
"Either scared or confusion." Blake answered as she held the cigar in her mouth
"Well... I cant say that you're wrong... I'm both of those things... and I wish things would be easier... what I saw when I held the lamp... I am sorry... I am so sorry for the actions I committed." Ruby began but closed her eyes before speaking again "I... betrayed and murdered the both of you... like... like some psychopath I took objects from you to keep as mementos..." Ruby explained causing Blake to place her hand on her shoulder
"I trust that you will know what is best for us, besides the future isn't set in stone." Blake reasoned "I know that some people are apprehensive about trusting, but I will trust you because unlike Esdeath, you are far more human." Blake said as Ruby reopened her eyes and smiled at her
"Thanks." Ruby muttered as she pulled Blake into a hug
"Wow, no 'thank you' for me?" Weiss commented crossing her arms, Ruby stared at her with a blank expression on her face before speaking
"You called me childish! Of course no 'thank yous' for you." Ruby said in a clearly sarcastic tone
"See that's what I mean! You asked us a valid question then when I answered it you didn't thank me."
"Well you were pretty rude about it." Blake reasoned with a shrug
"Shut up! You're a smoker!" Weiss pouted folding her arms and turning away from her
"Now you're being childish." Blake commented causing Weiss to huff
"I missed spending time like this." Ruby said folding her hands "I... wish... I didn't see the things I saw... I wish I didn't do the things that I've done... sometimes I just want to... stop." Ruby said with a sigh, Blake and Weiss shared looks before Blake spoke
"Well, look at it this way, if you aren't here... then who will lead us? We need you just as much as any team does." Blake said as she tossed the wasted cigar to the ground and stepped on it
"Thanks Blake, but I don't think you really need me." Ruby said with a sigh
"Well if that's not intensive enough, we need you to keep Esdeath in line." Weiss offered causing Rubys' expression to darken
"I think you have it backwards... I don't keep Esdeath in line... I keep her from destroying everything... in return I pay her everything... I don't know how long I can last like that." Ruby said darkly she stared at her hands then spoke again "That relic gives you quite a bit of vision... maybe..." she shook her head afterward and turned to leave
"You okay?" Weiss asked as Ruby began to walk away
"For now..." Ruby answered in a completely neutral tone
