*It's a little pass 10 hours into the 24 hour shift already,it started at 8AM and it was now around 5PM and the station had already went out on 3 medical calls and one small fire at a restaurant and there now back at the station sitting in the beanery* [Picking Up]
T:"Today has already been so stressful and we still have like 14 hours to go"he exaggerated
D:"Who's doing dinner tonight or are we just all going to starve"
M:"Dinner? Not me I'm going to take a nap until that alarm goes off again right here on this beanery table"
J:"Vic,Ben up for grabbers"
V&B:"NO!" they both said at the same time
D:"Damn so we are left to eating bread"
A:"I'm here you know how about I order in. Everything on me"
J:"Oh Andy, that's very nice but can we still put in money"
D:"Yea,it's a lot of us and I know that's a big bill"
A:"No, it's the least I can do"
*They all allowed Andy to pay for their meal later on and they all sat around the beanery table and decided to ask Andy about earlier that morning with the "visitor"*
M:"So um if you don't mind me asking, who was the visitor earlier"
A:"Umm..nobody in particular"
V:"C'mon Andy you were a little tensed in the aid car after you left Sullivan office"
A:"I'll explain another time" she was holding back her emotions at this point in time
J:"Does your husband know at least"
A:"Yes Jack he does know"
B:"Are you ok"
A:"Yes why,what's the problem"
T:"Andy your tense and you look like something is wrong"
A:"Nothing is wrong guys, like I said I'll explain me will you please"
{Andys POV}
I knew that the team was itching to know what happened earlier. They always want to know what happens especially when you get summoned to the office and come out looking terrible. I really wanted to tell them but I just couldn't. I didn't feel like listening to their opinions especially because of everything my dad did for us. I tensed up quickly and I felt like bursting with tears. I exited the beanery and ran down the stairs to Roberts office and closed the door and ran straight into his lap.
R:"Sweetheart what's the problem" he asked startled
A:"It's..just too much"
R:"What happened?"
A:"The team wants answers and I can't..I don't have it"
R:" 's ok I'm here ok"
*Andy bursted into tears when Robert held her tightly ensuring she was safe and she began shaking*
R:"Baby, your shaking can you breathe for me in and out"
A:"I-i can't"
R:"Ok I'm here don't worry take your time" he responded kissing her cheek
~Outside the office~
T:"What the hell happened to Andy" he whispered to his teammates who followed Andy out and was now observing the couple's interactions in the office
M:"I don't know but it must be bad"
V:"This feels really weird that we're just standing here"
D:"Honestly, I think she'll eventually tells us when she is ready"
J:"Ya lets go back and give them their space"
~Back to Surrera~
A:"Thanks babe. I feel better now"
R:"No problem. I have an idea how about I will follow you upstairs and I'll stand behind you and you can tell the team."
A:"Ok that's fine with me but please don't leave"
R:"I'm not leaving Andy. However I do now have my wife's tears all over my chest and I do have to change my shirt so your going have to get up" he said laughing
A:"Ok I'll let you change" she got up and kissed him
R:"Close the blinds the whole station is still here I know you don't want them seeing me"
A:"Very funny it's only your shirt,but if you insist"
~5 minutes later~
R:"Beanery in 2 minutes" he bellowed down the walkway
R:"Just know i'm right here and whatever you feel comfortable saying just say it" he whispered in her ear and she nodded in agreement
V&M:"Chief"
T:"Is everything alright?"
D:"Umm"
J:"Andy?"
B:"Ok"
R:"Please sit guys; there's something Andy wants to tell you guys..Please listen"
A:"Umm..so earlier I reacted the way I did coming out of the office because about a month ago when I went on leave for Roberts recovery I also made the discovery that my..um"
R:*moved his hands around Andys waist*
A:"Sorry I made the discovery that my mom was alive and that she never actually died after all of these years and earlier she came here looking for me and I didn't feel like talking because I had a job to do and so that's the reasoning"
A:"I'm sorry that I never got it out before but I just needed a minute"
M:"So what your saying is Elena is alive"
A:"Yes she is"
V:"Now that is something else"
D:"Did you get an explanation?"
A:"No I didn't and I don't know if I want one"
T:"Sorry for the pressure earlier"
A:"Don't worry guys i know y'all just wanted an explanation like always but I just needed a minute"
B:"Does Robert know?" he said gesturing to Robert who was still behind Andy
A:"Yes we discussed it earlier..Now if you'll excuse me I have to go do something"
AID CAR19
T:"I'll tag in for you"
A:"Thanks Travis"
*Travis and Vic went out on the call while the others cleaned the inside of the station. Andy left to her bunk where she ordered the stations dinner and decided to take a nap because her head was hurting from all her crying*
{Robert POV}
After everyone went their separate ways I looked Andy in this eye and I told her that I would always be here when needed and I gave her a kiss and went back to my office to do more paperwork. I had finished after some time and I decided to join the team for dinner since I knew Andy needed support and just in case she felt overwhelmed again.
{Andys POV}
As I sat in my bunk I thought about the days activities and how one day could feel so long. All I wanted was to go home and snuggle up with Robert but instead I was spending the night at the station. I ordered the food and it got delivered about an hour later and I called the station to come eat. We all ate the food and they thanked me again and we decided to clean up everything and turn in for the night. I went back to my bed and I pulled out my phone to text Robert..
A-Make sure you take your medicine for your leg and I love you so much!GN-
R-I will my love see you in the morning-

{Robert POV}
I decided that since we got off at 8AM that I was going to do something for Andy to show my appreciation to her for helping me with my recovery and just to help cheer her up. I decided to quickly go to the store right outside the station and I picked up some wine,flowers and a teddy bear. I got back to the station and I hid everything under my desk. I remembered I had bought her a necklace that had our wedding date engraved in it with our initials because even though I gave her a ring already,due to our line of work she doesn't wear it often but with the necklace she'll be able to. I got everything situated and I decided to turn in for the night.
[7AM]
I woke up from my alarm and I was the first one up in the station. I decided to go and put everything in the car before Andy came out and beat me to it and then I went back up to the beanery to get a coffee.
A:"Good morning to you" she said approaching him from behind
R:"Damn it Andy, you can't approach me from behind rubbing my back. You scared me"
A:"Oh be quiet big baby"she rolled her eyes at him
R:"Good morning to you Andrea"
A:"Mmm don't call me that especially when you still have one week left on your leg"
R:"Who said I follow rules" he whispered down into her ears
A:"Stop it now Robert we're still in the station we leave in 30 minutes"
R:"Fine but this isn't over just yet Andrea"
*45 minutes later they get done with their 24 hour shift and they arrive back at their house*
R:"Are you ok"
A:"Yes I am. How's your leg"
R:"It's been good for the whole shift. I think I'm almost to the finish line"
A:"Glad to hear that"
[They both showered and changed into more comfortable clothes and now they were watching a movie and eating popcorn on the couch when Roberts phone began to ring..]
R:"Um hello"
W:"Hi It's me Elena"
R:"Oh um could you hold on one second"
*Robert tells Andy he is going outside for a quick minute and that he will be right back*
R:"Yes I'm back. What do you need"
E:"I know it was just yesterday morning I came by but I'm sorry I really need to apologize to her.I know it's a long recovery to find her trust again but I just want to start somewhere. Is she ready?"
R:"Um we just came off of a 24 hour shift we haven't really spoken much about the incident"
E:"Could I atleast try? Is she by you any chance? Could I come meet somewhere?"
R: *I thought to myself why does she desperately need Andy now when she didn't want anything to do with her all those years ago. I felt my nerves building up but I decided to calm down and say..*
R:"Could you give me another moment"
~He goes back inside~
A:"Whats wrong babe I could tell something is wrong"
R:"Andy it's your mother. She is on the line"he responded sitting closer to ber
A:"No Robert, How did she even"
R:"Please don't be mad but we exchanged numbers incase you felt like talking"
A:"Robert I already told you"
R:"Sweetheart please"
A:"Whatever lets go"
R:"Elena I have her here now. You can speak"
E:"Andy I am sorry,I truly am. I know it's going to take time to open up to me again and I know what I did can never change. Andy I wasn't ok and it had nothing to do with you or your dad. I didn't want to leave for so long it's just that when I left I didn't now how to return. I hated knowing the fact I could've died in a fire and left you behind. I was scared of being a mother and I was scared I wasn't prepared. Andy I know it hurts seeing me alive and I know it's not a good time because you lost 2 special people but all I'm asking is Please when you do feel ready;try"
A:"I don't know what I feel but I do know that I have a loving husband who will always be here for me and I work with the most amazing people who will always love and support me no matter
what and not just randomly disappear that I know so if that is all goodbye mami"
E:"Goodbye Andrea" hangs up
R:"Babe I'm sorry. I know I shouldn't have answered much less pushed you to talk"
A:"No it's fine. I'm just going to go and take a nap"
R:"Ok I have my last appointment in 15 minutes so I should get going,I'll be back home with safe and I love you" he kissed her cheek
A:"I love you more"
*Robert left to the PT clinic and Andy decided to clean up the house a little and then she went upstairs and decided to change into her sleep attire and she fell asleep*
[2 hours later]
{Robert POV}
I tried calling Andy to tell her I was on my way but I didn't get any answer. I was kind of worried but she did tell me she was going to take a nap so I kind of felt ok. After my appointment I decided to pick up Italian for dinner. I arrived at the house and I could see the living room lights on but the bedroom lights above were off which indicated she was still asleep. I knew my plan was going to work perfectly now. I took out the flowers and teddy bear with the necklace and the food with the wine and I approached the house quietly. When I got inside the house i set everything up on the table and the rest of the stuff(necklace and teddy bear) I took with me upstairs to go see Andy.
R:"Baby I'm back" he said rubbing her back
A:"Mmm how was it"
R:"Very well. They said I could go back to doing everything else beside work I still have to wait 2 weeks for that"
A:"Sooo we can finally" she rolled over and looked him in his eyes with excitement
R:"Yes love with caution" he said laughing
R:"But look what I got you" he showed her the presents
A:"Robert you go to an appointment and you bring me back gifts"
R:"There's more but look" he hands her the necklace box
A:"I have a ring you know that. I mean I could only wear it on days off but still" *she opened the box and saw the necklace she read it and immediately tears fell down
R:"I love you"he said kissing her
A:"I love you too sweetheart. This is so nice,I can finally wear something when I'm on call"
R:"Yes now come downstairs I brought dinner"
*FAST FORWARD:They made their way downstairs and they ate their dinner and cleaned everything up and now there back upstairs*
A:"You are truly something special Robert never fail to impress me"
R:"And so are you Andrea"
A:"Sooo about earlier" she rolled over to face him
R:"Yes we can finish but like I said with caution" he then began kissing her
*Andy began kissing him more and more passionately and she was becoming more and more ready for her husband. They had both been waiting for this moment. Robert began getting harder and Andy was soaked she was more than ready for her husband. She quickly removed his boxers and took him into her hand and began pleasing him. Robert so then began pleasing Andy and he inserted himself into her and they made love to each other until they both reached their climax and rolled over in between breaths*
A:"Are you ok?"
R:"Yes my leg is fine"
A:"Thank you"
R:"I don't think I could ever go this long again from being intimate with you"
A:"Me either you're so good" she kissed him
R:"We should probably get some sleep now we are back on tomorrow for work"
A:"Goodnight baby"
R:"Goodnight"
