I was celebrating Thanksgiving alone this year. Chikage was in America and Jii was sick. So I was byeing not that many people(like one or so) turkey, pie and mash potatoes for my house at the store. "Again Kaito?" asked Julie. She was American so she called me by my first name. "Yeah. My family is...well you know." I said. Julie was also a fellow magician's kid and also lost a bit of family to the Black Organization too.
This year she was working. "Think I saw a boya looking for you outside." Julie added. "Asked if there were any cute guys who looked like his Shinichi Nee-san and I asked if he was too young to be asking that." she said. I laughed. "Don't worry. He's fine." I said and packed my stuff. "He's the one you told me about isn't he?" she said. I nodded. I left the store and saw Conan standing there.
"You know if you wanted Julie to put up strange child posters just ask. She was thinking about it when you asked weird questions." I said. "I was looking for you." he said. "Yeah. I know. Why?" I asked. "It's Thanksgiveing." he said. I was quite(know it's in Japan but go with it). "Those are kind of small groceries so I would say...it's just you for guests." he said. "You're right Meitantei. My mom travels a lot and Jii is busy." I said. "Can I have Thanksgiving with you than?" he asked. "Ran is with friends so..." I smiled.
"I would love that." I answered.

We talked as we ate and became close and soon his hand landed on mine and I smiled as he leaned over and captured my lips in a kiss. "I always wanted to do that. Happy Thanksgiving Kaito." he said. "Happy thanksgiving Shinichi." I said.
