Fishes of different color and sizes happily played around the corals and the weeds swayed to the peaceful mood. Luffy sang as he counted the fishes.
He laid down with dead eyes. Singing and counting doesn't amuse him anymore but if he tries to leave the room, Sanji will force him to wear the mask. If he removes the mask, Sanji will show up from thin air and drag him back to the bar.
"Sanji, I'm bored"
Luffy sat up again and watched Chopper carefully insert a long tool in Sanji's nostril. Luffy didn't like what he was seeing and attempted an escape. With his back on the wall, he made his way to the exit. When he's about to reach the doorknob, Zoro entered the room and looked at him in the corner of the eye. Luffy rolled his eyes as he rethink of the plan before flattening himself more to the wall and sliding out the exit. Zoro stomped his foot then carried him back.
Luffy struggled and begged Zoro to let him be but Zoro didn't give in and shush him in the mouth. Zoro broke the news, out of reach from Sanji's ears, that Nami experienced high fever yesterday. He convinced Luffy to take the test to determine if they are carriers.
When Sanji left the seat, Zoro sat down with Luffy's limbs clamped in his legs and head locked in his arms. Chopper emotionlessly took the sample from Luffy as if what Zoro did was planned.
"We're done! I'll be back for the results."
Then Chopper packed his things and went off to the infirmary. Zoro, on the other hand, unexpectedly stayed with them.
Sanji casually asked, "skip training?"
"Usopp received the package from Baratie. He wanted me to tell you."
"Pavo came by?" Zoro nodded.
"Took him long."
"He apologized for that and postponed the installment pay. He had to wait and stay clear from the marines."
"Understandable. Is there a letter for me?"
"No letters. Must be inside the package."
"Then I should get going. I'll leave Luffy to you."
"I'm not a kid." Luffy scowled.
Few hours later, Chopper came back in a hurry. He checked Luffy's vitals and asked, "Are you feeling ok? Nothing's itchy? Nothing hurts?"
Luffy smiled and even stretched his limbs when he said, "I'm perfectly fine."
"No, you are not. You are positive." Chopper cried.
Luffy tilted his head, brows furrowed. "I've always been positive."
"you knew?!"
"I would have been like Usopp if I'm not." Then he chuckled.
Zoro stretched his cheek and said, "Idiot. It means you are sick."
"I'm perfectly fine."
"You are the carrier of the virus!" Zoro growled.
"You could have just said so." Luffy pursed his lips and Zoro facepalmed.
"Am I positive too?" Zoro asked.
"Only Luffy and Nami. I'll transfer Nami here so I can easily check on them." Then Chopper turned to Luffy.
"Luffy, I am not sure if any symptoms will manifest soon but are we still going to save Kuma?"
Luffy nodded and said with such seriousness, "Whatever it takes."
