Valentine's Day Wedding

{Note: This One shot is for Valentine's Day. I apologize if things are misspelled or if something doesn't make sense.}

It was Valentine's Day and something special was happening but it wasn't exactly expected either. Today, Harriet Potter was marrying none other than Draco Malfoy.

Harriet was standing in a room dressed in beautiful white dress robes and thinking about everything that has happened; in a way, she was happy to be getting married which meant that she wouldn't be returning to her relatives' home so she was basically safe.

Although, she had been surprised when the Death Eaters had kidnapped her that day before she was going to the Weaseleys for the rest of the Summer holidays and brought to Malfoy Manor and before Lord Voldemort.

She had been shocked when Voldemort said that she would marry Draco Malfoy and he dared Lucius to say anything. Also, during this time that she had been here; she had learned how to act like a lady of pure blood status. As well as done an inheritance test.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door.

"Come in."

Severus entered along with Lucius.

"Are you ready, Potter?" Lucius asked.

Harriet nodded.

"Potter?" Severus questioned.

Harriet looked at Professor Snape and said, "Professor, I don't know exactly why Lord Voldemort wants me to marry Draco but I think that I'll be safer with Draco than anyone else."

Both Severus and Lucius were stunned Harriet's answer.

Just then, some of the Weaseleys appeared along with Neville and Luna.

"Arthur? Bill? Fleur? Fred? George? Charlie? Neville? Luna? What are you all doing here?" Harriet said in shock.

"Well, your distant cousin told us about Mom arranging you to marry Ron and said that he took care of it." Bill said.

"I don't understand." Harriet stated.

Severus and Lucius were confused as well.

So, the Weaseleys explained everything to Harriet and when they finished; Harriet was speechless.

"So, Dumbledore was making Lily's and James's daughter miserable this entire time!" Severus said angrily.

The Weaseleys nodded.

"Arthur?" Harriet said.

"Yes, Harriet?" Arthur said.

"I know that Sirius and Remus would probably want to walk me down the aisle but would you do it because you're like a father to me?" Harriet said.

"I would be honored, Harriet." Arthur said.

Just then, Sirius and Remus came in.

"Pup, you ready?" Sirius asked.

Harriet nodded.

"Cub, what's the matter?" Remus asked sensing something was bothering Harriet.

"Do you and Sirius mind if Arthur walks me down the aisle?" Harriet asked.

"No, we don't mind. In fact, Arthur can escort you half way then we'll escort you the rest of the way." Remus said.

"Sounds like a good idea." Arthur said.

Somewhere in another room...

Draco was nervous as hell because he was marrying his rival on the orders of the Dark Lord. He wasn't sure as to why the Dark Lord wanted them married to each other because they were both 16 now and had one more year at Hogwarts.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door.

"Come in." Draco said.

Lord Voldemort entered and said, "I trust that you'll take good care of Lady Potter."

Draco turned to see the Dark Lord and said, "I promise, my Lord."

"Good. I have already informed her godfathers of the situation." Voldemort said, "They'll be here."

Draco nodded but was confused and he was sure that Potter was probably confused as well.

An hour later...

The Ballroom was already set up for the unexpected wedding between a Malfoy and a Potter.

When Draco entered he was nervous as hell.

"Draco, you'll be alright." Severus said.

"Dumbledore will probably kill me." Draco said.

"He won't because he was making an attempt at Bloodline Theft with Molly Weaseley." Severus said.

Both Remus and Sirius growled at that causing Draco to jump.

"Sorry kid, when we were informed about Harriet's arranged marriage contract and that our signatures had been forged on it; we were upset." Sirius said then he went to the half way point.

"Who informed you?" Draco asked curiously.

"Harriet's distant cousin informed us." Remus said looking at the Dark Lord then went to the half way point to join Sirius.

Draco looked and the Dark Lord seemed to be smiling. His eyes went wide with shock as he realized that the Dark Lord was somehow related to Harriet.

Severus leaned over and whispered into Draco's ear, "Harriet has always been in love with you, Draco. Sirius and Remus told me that."

Draco blinked.

Suddenly, the wedding march played 'Here Comes the Bride'. To Draco's surprise, it was Mr. Arthur Weaseley escorting Potter down the aisle to him. When they reached Sirius and Remus; they let Harriet loop her arms through theirs and escorted her the rest of the way to Draco.

Draco had never seen something like this done before; but he had to admit that Harriet could surprise you when she wanted to. He couldn't believe that this beautiful young girl well young lady was once his rival.

"Who gives this witch away?" Voldemort said.

"We do. Along with Arthur Weaseley." Sirius said.

Draco took Harriet's hand in his and they stood before Voldemort.

"I assume that Bride and Groom wish say their own vows." Voldemort said with a smile as Draco and Harriet nodded.

Draco took a deep breath and said, "Harriet Jayme Potter, today I take you as my wife; when I know I was a complete prat to you in the beginnings of our years at Hogwarts. It was a shock to me to know that rival was in my family home; but as you were here, I got to know you a little better. I had no idea or ever dreamed that one day I would have the honor to have you as my wife. I admit I was learning a lot about the real you and not what the Daily Prophet was printing about you. It's funny when I think of now, but I guess some of our friends were coming to conclusions that you and I were already acting like married couple. Now, we are becoming a married couple today."

Harriet was almost brought to tears at what Draco was saying. Then she took a deep breath and said, "Draco Lucius Malfoy, today I take you as my husband. Perhaps, the muggle saying is true about when a boy teases a girl; but you were the only one apparently that saw me for me regardless of the titles that I was given. Now, we standing before friends and family on a romantic holiday. I have to admit that I never thought that I would be good enough for someone like you; so I kept my feelings for you a secret and the only ones that knew were Neville and Luna along with some of the Weaseleys as well ad my godfathers. When I was kidnapped and brought here was happy because I felt free and I also got to know you better. Like you, I was aware what our fellow classmates were saying about us acting like a married couple. It was funny with what they came up with and now today we are making it a reality."

"Since we are adding a little bit of a muggle tradition, I would like for the rings to be brought up." Voldemort said.

Narcissa and Luna stepped up with rings.

"Draco take the rings and repeat after me. I, Draco Lucius Malfoy take thee, Harriet Jayme Potter to be my wedded wife. To cherish with my heart. In sickness and in health, for richer, for poorer until death to us part." Voldemort said.

Draco looked at Harriet as he took the rings and then said as he slid the rings on her ring finger, "I, Draco Lucius Malfoy take thee, Harriet Jayme Potter to be my wedded wife. To cherish with my heart. In sickness and in health, for richer, for poorer until death to us part."

"Harriet, you will do the same." Voldemort said.

Harriet looked at Draco as she took the ring and then said, " I, Harriet Jayme Potter take thee, Draco Lucius Malfoy to be my wedded husband. To cherish with my heart. In sickness and in health, for richer, for poorer until death to us part."

"Now, I will do the magical part of the wedding by the traditions of the Wizarding World by bonding your magic together." Voldemort said.

Harriet and Draco were surrounded in a light letting everyone know that their magic was bonded to each other. Once the light died down; everyone cheered.

"You may now kiss your bride." Voldemort said.

Draco grabbed Harriet around the waist pulling her close and passionately kissed her. When they broke from the kiss that sealed their vows to each; everyone cheered.

Then they both walked down the aisle arm in arm and out of the ballroom. Once, they were out of the room; Draco immediately picked Harriet bridal-style and carried off towards the bedroom.

Harriet gasped at suddenly being picked up bridal-style that she wrapped her arms around Draco's neck. However, she was surprised that she felt comfortable in Draco's arms. She had to admit to herself that she had changed from when she had first come here to Malfoy Manor; but here she was now married to the Malfoy heir and she felt safe.

"Draco?"

"Yes, love?" Draco answered.

"Thank you." Harriet said.

Draco looked at his wife confused.

Harriet blushed and said, "I don't understand it all yet, but for some reason I feel safe with you even though we were sort of forced to marry. But what I said in my vows to you were true, Draco. I'm thanking you because you saw me for me regardless of what everyone else saw."

Once in the bedroom, Draco and Harriet changed out of their wedding robes and into something that was still elegant to attend their wedding reception. Plus, they discussed how they were keeping Harriet a secret as his wife. Harriet had an idea that she wrote to the goblins at Gringotts and then both her and Draco came up a spell that only the ones that Harriet truly trusted would know that it was her; while others will know her by the name of Selene Peverell Malfoy.

Meanwhile...

Everyone getting the wedding reception ready in the formal dinning room.

"I assume that Draco and Harriet will be right back." Lucius said.

"I'm sure that their changing into something elegant for the reception instead wearing their wedding robes." Remus said.

"They're probably getting out of their wedding things and packing some of their honeymoon then maybe a quickie or doing the hanky panky real quick. Then they'll wash up get dressed and be right back." Sirius said.

Severus smacked Sirius up side the head and said, "Mutt, I don't think is what their doing."

"What?" I was being sarcastic." Sirius said rubbing the back his head.

"Sirius, is there anymore sarcastic remarks?" Remus questioned.

"Well there is one but that was like Harriet was 14." Sirius said.

"Oh and pray tell what was that, mutt?" Severus asked.

"Mind you that this was when some of Hogwarts students were saying that Harriet and Draco were like a married couple. Please don't get angry at me when I repeat what Fred and George said at the time." Sirius said.

Both Fred and George paled and said together, "DON'T REPEAT THAT SIRIUS!"

Arthur looked at the twins for a moment then turned to Sirius and asked, "What did they say, Sirius?"

"Something along the lines of 'Draco should slip on a bar of soap and fall in the shower to see Harriet in the nude. Then make out passionately.' well something like." Sirius stated.

After a few minutes, Draco and Harriet walked in. They were surprised by how beautiful the reception was. Music was playing, Harriet and Draco decided to do a first dance as husband and wife.

"Ready to dance, love?" Draco asked Harriet.

Harriet took a deep breath and said, "As ready as I'll ever be. After all, I had a great teacher."

Draco chuckled at that and said, "Yes, you did. Plus, I understand that you felt uncomfortable in 4th year at the Yule Ball. But now, it will be better."

Harriet smiled as Draco whisked her away on to the dance floor.

"Since when did she learn to dance?" Severus questioned recalling the Yule Ball.

Narcissa smiled and said, "Since she's been here she was determined to learn to dance."

"Really?" Sirius said.

"Yes and she was also determined to learn pure blood traditions as well. She also asked if we knew anything about her father's family because she wanted to know about them." Lucius stated.

"I don't blame her for wanting to know James's side of the family." Remus said.

"I mean we've told her a few things about her parents. I'm not sure how it was living with Lily's sister and her family. However, I remember that Harriet was determined to prove that I was innocent in her 3rd year." Sirius said.

"Speaking of that? Sirius, Peter Pettigrew appeared suddenly before the DLME and 'spilled his guts' as Harriet would put it." Arthur said.

"You mean?!" Sirius said.

Arthur nodded.

Harriet and Draco finished their dance and walked over to her godfathers.

"I believe congratulations on your freedom, Lord Black." Draco said looking at Sirius.

"Thanks and I'm actually glad you'll be with my goddaughter." Sirius said.

"Don't you mean our goddaughter?" Remus questioned.

"Yeah." Sirius said smiling.

Both Draco and Harriet laughed but then quietly told Sirius and the others what they came up with since Dumbledore had been keeping things from her apparently.

"Well, we don't blame you, cub." Remus said.

"You have our support, Harriet well Selene." Severus said.

"Harriet and I have written to Gringotts to inform them of what is going on." Draco said.

"Okay but I feel like you've done more?" Sirius said.

"I also did an inheritance test and sent the results to the goblins of Gringotts. I'm waiting for their answer before we go on our honeymoon." Harriet said.

"Well that's understandable." Remus said.

"Selene? Draco? You need to cut the cake." Neville said.

"Right." Harriet/Selene said.

Both Harriet well Selene and Draco walked over to their wedding cake and began to cut it. Selene and Draco took the first pieces of cake.

Everyone one watched as Selene and Draco take their first bite of cake. After that, everyone was socializing and drinking; the reception lasted until 7 o' clock at night.

Then they sent the newlyweds on their way to their honeymoon.
