Bemused, Harry followed along, smiling at the thought that he would be staying with Sirius, who was so fun to be around, for the entire holidays.

After a hearty lunch, Sirius decided that since they were already out of Hogwarts, and Harry needed new clothes, especially wizarding ones, Sirius pulled Harry to Twilfitt and Tattings.

"Sirius, I don't need new clothes, the clothes I have now are fine."

"No you do, you don't have any robes and such, and even your muggle clothes are old and tattered, although we'll have to wait till the summer holidays to buy new muggle clothes, we can get you robes today."

"But I already have my Hogwarts robes, I don't need any more!"

"If you're going to live in the wizarding world, you'll need to wear robes as part of your everyday clothes, not just muggle clothes, or everyone will look at you oddly. Especially since you've accepted the role of Heir Potter, you'll have to dress the part, which means wearing robes when you're out and about in the wizarding world."

"Oh, alright. What will we have to buy?"

"We will just buy the basics today since you'll probably grow out of them in one or two months after you finish taking all the healing potions, and we don't have much time anyways. We'll also have to get you new Hogwarts robes then."

"Oh okay."

"That means six casual robes for wearing about the house or to wear at Hogwarts during the weekends, four informal ones for going out for casual things, like going to diagon alley and such, three half formal ones for when you want to visit close acquaintances who also hold a position in society, for example the Longbottoms, for a casual visit, not one to discuss political matters, and two formal ones for going to the Wizengamot or for formal events. Anyways, there's different robes to wear when we go to different places or do different things, and there's a whole bunch of rules that I'll properly teach you over the holidays about what to wear. For now, let's just go get some clothes!"

"That's a lot! Fifteen robes! How is that a basic wardrobe?"

"Hah! Wait till you see a full wardrobe, there'll be about ten times as many robes."

At this, Harry's face paled, thinking about having to go through the trouble of buying so many sets of clothes, then remembering that Sirius would also have to get them.

"Hey. SIrius, don't you have to get new robes too? You won't have any after staying at Azkaban right?" he asked with a cheeky grin on his face.

"Uhh... right. But I still can fit into some of my old robes before I went to Azkaban, apparently the Ministry left my apartment alone so all of my things are still there, in rather good condition in fact, and they'll do for now. I'll get them another day, by myself, since there won't be enough time today," Sirius said in a rush, pulling Harry towards the shop.

"Hey, Harry! Look, we're here. Let's go get some robes for you!"

They entered the store, and were greeted by a young girl, who looked like she was barely out of school, took a look at them and let out a loud scream.

"Sirius Black! And Harry Potter!"

At this, Madam Twilfitt rushed out, wondering what the matter was.

"Did she not read the news this morning? It was announced that I have a temporary pardon!" Sirius muttered under his breath to Harry.

"Really I didn't know. I didn't have enough time to read the news this morning. That explains why people didn't run away screaming at the first sight of Sirius Black, the mass murderer," teased Harry.

"I'll have you know that I'm Sirius Black, the most handsome guy, not the mass murderer."

At that moment, Madam Twilfitt realised who they were and why the young assistant had screamed.

"Stella! Sirius Black was pardoned, did you not read the paper this morning?" Madam Twilfitt asked the young girl, getting a shocked and mumbled yes from her. before turning towards her customers.

Apologising profusely, she said "I'm sorry, Stella here doesn't read the Daily Prophet so she didn't know you were pardoned."

At that moment, she spotted the rings on their fingers, and putting two and two together, realised what those rings were.

"Lord Black, Heir Potter, I'm honoured to have you here! How may I help you today?"

After Sirius and Harry greeted her in reply, Sirius got to business, saying "I would like to order a wardrobe for my charge, Heir Potter. When is the soonest it can be completed?"

"It depends on what you would like to order, and how much is ordered."

"I would like to order a simple wardrobe today, just fifteen robes. Six casual ones, four informal ones, three half formal ones, and two formal ones. We will return over the summer holidays to get a complete wardrobe as we are in a rush today. However, I would like to be able to leave with at least three casual robes and one formal one today, if it's possible. The others can be delivered to us whenever they are completed."

"I'll be able to finish making all six casual robes in about fifteen minutes since they have standard designs and can be quickly tailored to the right size. However, I will take about forty five to sixty minutes to make the formal robe depending on how you want them to be made as each one of them has a unique design and style. I assume you will want the formal robes done with the Potter crest on them?"

"Yes, thank you. I will let Heir Potter choose the styles of the robes himself."

With that, Madam Twilfitt waved her wand and measuring tapes and needles surrounded Harry, flying here and there, while a quill scribbled away on a piece of parchment attached to a clipboard, floating in midair.

After a while, the measuring tapes and needles floated away back to their respective boxes, and the clipboard floated into Madam Twilfitt's hands, who glanced at it before asking Harry to go to the section of the store dedicated to casual robes to find some casual robes he liked.

He went over to that side of the store, with Sirius who followed behind. There were eight racks of robes, one for babies and toddlers, one for young girls, another for young boys, one for Hogwarts aged girls, another for Hogwarts aged boys, two for adult witches, and one for adult wizards, each with about fifty different robes hanging on them.

Sirius led Harry to the rack for Hogwarts aged boys, asking him to pick out six different ones, telling him that Madam Twilfitt would make his casual robes in those designs, except they would be in his size.

Harry walked up and down the rack, trying to figure out what he would buy. No one had ever bought clothes for him before, and the only clothes he had ever bought were his Hogwarts' robes, and he didn't even have to choose what design to buy since all of them had identical designs.

Finally, he decided on a plain black robe with a red lining on the inside, a deep blue one with a lighter blue lining, two plain black robes, one with a design of a dragon on the front of the top half of it in red and gold, and the other with a snitch and a broom design in a similar spot, a turquoise robe with a grey lining and silver seams, and a green one with golden seams, that Sirius insisted he had to get since it matched his eyes. However, none of the robes on the racks were open in the front like the Hogwarts robes, causing Harry to be confused.

"Sirius, why are all of the robes here like dresses? None of them are open in the front like Hogwarts robes."

"The Hogwarts robes are made to be worn with the Hogwarts uniform or muggle clothes inside to make the muggleborn students more comfortable. I doubt that they, especially the boys, would be very comfortable wearing a robe without any other clothes underneath. That's why most pureblood and half blood students wear their own robes over the weekends since they grew up wearing robes and are comfortable wearing them with nothing else underneath."

"I have to wear them without any clothes below?"

"Yes, of course. I guess you'll have to get used to them. Don't worry, you'll quickly get used to it, and it is much more comfortable."

"Oh, alright Sirius."

After this, they discussed with Madam Twilfitt the designs of the four informal robes, and three half formal robes before finally getting to the two formal robes.

Harry let Sirius help him choose and discuss the design of the formal robes since he didn't know much about how formal robes should be like. In the end, one of them was black with an red lining on the inside to represent his house, with gold threads embroidered around the robe and used to sew the seams, and the other was almost identical, except it was a deep blue instead of black, and the design of the gold embroidery was different. Both robes had the Potter crest, surrounded by a silver border, on the top right corner, over his heart, to represent that he was the Potter heir.

Harry decided that he liked the dark blue one better, so they would collect that one today, along with the casual robes, while the informal robes, half formal robes, and the other formal robe would be mailed to Harry in three days time.

"Thank you, we'll be back in one and a half hours to collect the robes," Sirius said before leaving the shop with Harry.

"Do you want to go to Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour?" Sirius asked Harry.

"Yes!"

They headed to Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour, Harry choosing a gigantic banana split sundae, with three large scoops of ice cream and whipped cream on top, with a drizzle of chocolate and a lot of sprinkles and biscuit crumbs on top. Sirius went with a milkshake and two scoops of ice cream on a chocolate waffle, and they quickly set to eating once their ice cream arrived.

"Sirius, why do I have to wear robes without any clothes underneath? Can I continue to wear my muggle clothes?"

"No, before this, you hadn't accepted your role as Heir Potter, so even it wouldn't have been so bad for you to wear muggle clothes wherever you went since we could just say you were unaware about wizarding customs and such. However, now that you have accepted your role as Heir Potter, you'll have to look and act the part, so you'll have to wear robes whenever you're in public, without muggle clothes underneath."

"Oh, alright."

Harry sat there contemplatively, poking at his ice cream, wondering how he could possibly get out of it.

"Hey, Sirius, what about when I'm not at Hogwarts or outside?"

"You mean over the summer holidays, when it's just you and I?"

"Yes."

"Well, then it would be fine to wear muggle clothes, although it would probably be better to wear robes so that you'll be able to get used to it. Although if you're really uncomfortable with it, I guess we can start by letting you wear pants underneath it at least. You'll also be able to wear muggle clothes if we go into the muggle world of course."

"Okay!" Harry said happily, contented that he would at least be able to wear pants underneath them over the summer holidays when he was alone with Sirius so he would not feel so out of place and uncomfortable, and resolving to spend more time in the muggle world so he could wear muggle clothes out instead of having to wear robes.

"Sirius, why don't you have to buy robes too?"

"I still have my more casual and informal robes at my apartment, and my more formal robes are still in my closet in Black manor."

"You can still wear them?"

"Yes, of course. The house elves at Black manor have been keeping them clean and in good condition."

"You went there to check?"

"No, where did you think I've been staying? Out in the caves?"

"Uhh I don't know," Harry said, blushing.

"I've been staying at Black manor, which is where I plan for us to live at as well. The wards there are one of the strongest in Britain, along with those of the other Most Ancient and Noble Houses. The Ministry of Magic wouldn't have been able to get in there even if they tried their hardest. I was able to go in since my grandfather, the last Lord Black didn't actually disown me or remove my name from the Black wards, since he wasn't as much of a pureblood supremacist as my mother, and didn't oppose my views, and I was still acknowledged as the Black Heir by the wards. Other than when I went closer to Hogwarts to try to find you, and Pettigrew, I've been staying there so that I could get proper food and properly sleep and heal from my stay at Azkaban."

"Oh. Is there a Potter manor?"

"Of course. But you won't be able to enter it until your fourteenth birthday, when you become Lord Potter, so you'll have to wait about two more months before you can enter it."

"Oh okay," Harry said, disappointed that he wouldn't immediately be able to enter it.

Trying to make him happier, Sirius told him, "You'll have about one month before Hogwarts starts again to visit it anytime you want. There'll be a lot of things to explore there, and you'll learn a lot about your family by visiting the Potter manor. I stayed there for two summers, before my sixth and seventh year, after I'd been kicked out by my mother. Your grandmother was a Black, and he was my grandfather's sister, so he allowed me to stay there with them although my mother would've never approved of it."

"Did my mom ever stay there?"

"Yes. Your mom and dad married right out of Hogwarts, in June, and they stayed there for about three years, until they moved to Godric's Hollow, which was a small cottage that was owned by the Potter family but had not been occupied by any Potters for three hundred years, right after your first birthday, and well, you know what happened afterwards."

"Why wasn't the cottage in Godric's Hollow occupied?"

"Well, it was about ten kilometers from Potter manor, and most of the time it was occupied by one of the people working at Potter manor or on the fields, and had a family but didn't want to stay in one of the family cottages on the Potter lands but wanted to stay elsewhere."

"Oh, how big are the Potter lands? There are people working at Potter manor? Do they still work there? There are more houses other than the Potter manor on it?"

"Harry, I'll properly teach you about your family history and things like that when we're alone in a more private space. To quickly tell you, in front of the Potter manor, there is half a kilometer of land, to the back, there is four kilometers of land, and to the left and right there are about two and a half kilometers of land, and Potter manor itself is about half a kilometer long and wide. As the grounds are very big, and about a tenth of it, about 2.9 square kilometers, is used for farming, both for food, and for potions or herbology, and about three quarters of it being forests with many species of animals roaming in it, there are many staff working both in the lands surrounding Potter manor, and in Potter manor itself. There are about twenty five of those family cottages on the Potter lands for those who work there and have families, while the rest of the staff stay in the staff dormitories."

"Oh."

"Anyways, we have to go get the clothes from Madam Twilfitt now, and head back to Hogwarts. It's nearly four thirty and I told Remus that we'd be back by five."

With that, Sirius and Harry left the shop and headed back to Twilfitt and Tattings to get the robes, before they flooed back to Hogwarts using Madam Twilfitt's floo.
