Fire and Ice
*While following Dr Rose and Dr Kean on the way to the next Chaos Emerald, Moises started to feel a cold breeze blow and he instantly began to shiver*
Moises
"H-H-Hey y-y-you guys..d-d-do you f-f-feel th-th-that?.."*He asks while still shivering*
Dr Kean
"Yes, the wind's temperature is starting to drop, I know where we're heading to next, Eastside Island may have warm places, but it also has a chilling area further north, are you positive this is where we'll find the next Chaos Emerald Alia?"
Dr Rose
"I'm positive, the radar hasn't lied to us, but like Reeve said, we just need to find any nearby Star Posts to see if we can find the next emerald, and if we're lucky we won't freeze when we do manage to find them"
Dr Kean
"We're not calling them that.."
Moises
"L-L-Let's just k-k-keep going..I'm n-n-not used t-to t-this kind of w-w-weather.."
*As the 3 of them continued ahead, the cold breeze begins to get stronger as they keep moving forward and they look around and find themselves in an icy and snowy hill and the cold breeze calms down*
Dr Kean
"This is a very bizarre island..."
Dr Rose
"We can't get lost here, let's stick together, stay behind me you 2, the radar will guide us through this place, hopefully we'll find the exit soon"
Moises
"I d-d-don't have a ch-ch-choice d-d-don't look at m-m-me.."*He says getting behind Dr Kean*
*Moises and Dr Kean get behind Dr Rose and they hold eachother's hands to form a chain to stay together, Dr Rose takes the lead and she continues slowly trying not to slip*
Dr Kean
"How much closer Alia?, I didn't come to this island prepared for cold weather"
Dr Rose
"Just a little more, how are you holding up Moises"
Moises
*He stays silent and he shivers from the cold*
Dr Kean
"Alia, hedgehogs aren't exactly known for staying outside the cold for long periods of time, we need to find that post quickly before things get worse"
Dr Rose
"Right"*She then stops and looks down*"Uh oh.."
Dr Kean
"What's the problem?"*He then sees that there is a long slope ahead of them*"Oh this is just perfect.."
Dr Rose
"What do we do now?"
Dr Kean
"Seeing as how there aren't any other ways, our only option is to slide go down the slope, but we need to go down slowly, we don't want to risk rolling down and injuring ourselves"
Dr Rose
"Alright"*She says before nervously starting to walk down the slope*"Easy..easy.."
*The 3 of them go down the slope very slowly, but then another cold breeze passes by and Moises shivers wildly and he starts to lose his balance and he trips forward and bumps into Dr Kean, and then he trips on Dr Rose, the 3 then slide down and form a giant snowball and they roll down the slope at high speeds until they crash into the Star Post that stops them and destroys the snowball*
Dr Rose
*She holds her head*"Ow...that hurt...is everyone alright?.."
Dr Kean
*He shakes the snow off of him*"I'm fine.."*He then turns and glares at Moises*"You rodent ruffian!, what's your problem!"
Moises
"I t-t-tripped..s-s-sorry y-you guys..I'm j-j-just n-no good in th-th-the cold.."
Dr Rose
"That makes sense, you are a hedgehog after all, and you weren't prepared for the cold much like us"
Moises
"Y-Y-Yeah..b-but look"*He points at the Star Post*"Th-The Star P-Post..w-w-we found it.."
Dr Kean
"We're not calling it that, now hurry and touch the post so we can get the emerald"
Dr Rose
"No Reeve, Moises can't get the emerald in the condition he's in, one of us will have to do it instead"
Dr Kean
"Of course, what was I thinking, forgive me Alia, I should've known better, so I'll take one for the team and enter the supposed different dimension the hedgehog claims is in this contraption"
*Dr Kean activates the Star Post and he jumps in when the portal above the Star Post opens and he is then transported to the Special Zone and his eyes widen by what he sees*
Dr Kean
"This..this can't be!, it must be some kind of trick!..no..i'm not dreaming this..this isn't a trick..I can't believe that hedgehog was right..well let's see if he's right about there being a Chaos Emerald here"*He says activating his jetpack and blasting off forward into the Special Zone*"Now where could the emerald be"
*Dr Kean then sees incoming bombs heading towards him and he adjusts his glasses and he evades the bombs with ease and he then grabs one of them and throws it at the rest destroying them all and he grins evily*
Dr Kean
"What a pathetic excuse for obstacles, a toddler can avoid them, now that all those "obstacles" are out of my way, time to get what I really came for, but where could it be..hmm?"*He says before seeing a bright light from afar and spotting a Chaos Emerald from a distance*
Dr Kean
"There it is...i've finally found you you jewel of a nuisance!"*He flies to the Chaos Emerald and reaches for it and he grabs it quickly*"Ahahaha!, I've got you!, I'm just a few steps closer to my goal!, now how exactly do I get out of here"
*After Dr Kean says that a bright light envelopes him and he blinded by it but is then transported back to Dr Rose and Moises*
Dr Kean
"I'm..i'm back!..so what the hedgehog was saying was actually true, there is a different dimension after you activated these posts..so I suppose your theory was correct Alia, if we find these posts, we'll find the last 2 emeralds, now let's get out of here before we freeze to death"
Moises
"Th-th-that's the s-s-smartest th-thing I've heard you s-s-say d-d-doctor.."
Dr Rose
"He's right, let's get out of here, I'm not sure how much more of this cold you can take Moises"
*Moises, Dr Kean and Dr Rose immediately leave the icy and snowy hill, and as they leave and continue onward, all of them start to feel a sudden rise in temperature, Moises begins to stop shivering as this happens*
Moises
"Ahh, I'm all toasty again!, awesome!"
Dr Kean
"That's strange, the temperature is starting to rise and it's getting warmer than usual..Alia where are we heading to now?"
Dr Rose
"Luckily the radar wasn't destroyed while we were a giant snowball, so we're still good, and from what it's showing me, it looks like that the emerald is pretty far, so that means it'll take a while until we get to the next Star Post"
Dr Kean
"We are not calling them that.."*He says in slight frustration*
*As the 3 of them continue onwards, they start to notice that the sky is changing color from blue or orange and that the temperature is rising higher*
Dr Kean
*He wipes the sweat off his head*"What in the world is going on..the temperature is rising even higher now..where in the world is that radar of yours leading us to Alia.."
Dr Rose
"Guys..I have a bad feeling about where the radar is guiding us to.."*She says in a worried tone*
Moises
"Why?"
*Dr Rose stays silent as she points nervously to a volcano in the distance*
Dr Kean
"We have to go through that volcano!?, are you out of your mind Alia!, we'll burn to a crisp before we even get to the top!"
Dr Rose
"We don't have to go through it, we just have to go around it, we'll need your jetpack"
Dr Kean
"With my body structure, I'll only be able to carry one person"
Moises
"Dr Rose, go with Dr Kean, I'll just leg it no problem!"
Dr Rose
"No Moises, you'll burn up in the high temperatures"
Moises
"Don't worry, I'm used to living in a warm place so this is just fine, besides, if things get too hot, I'll just run super fast to get away from it, go you 2, I can handle it"
Dr Kean
*He activates his jetpack and carries Dr Rose*"Very well, I wish you luck hedgehog, hold on Alia"*He says blasting off into the sky carrying Dr Rose"
Dr Rose
"Be careful Moises!!"
Moises
"It's just a volcano, it can't be that bad"*He says running forward and beginning to climb the volcano*"Oh man, it's like an oven in here, but it's a heck of a lot better than the freezing cold that's for sure"*He says continuing to climb the fiery mountain*
*Moises continues to climb up the fiery mountain until he makes it near the top and he jumps up to reach the top and he rubs his hands together and blows on them*
Moises
"Ow ow hot hot hot hot!!..ah jeez..that was painful"
"Moises!, over here!"
*Moises looks over to where he heard his name and he sees Dr Kean and Dr Rose flying over to him*
Dr Rose
"How are you holding up!?"
Moises
"I'm holdin up alright!, just need to run down the volcano and we're good!, but you guys should hurry before you melt!"
Dr Kean
"No hedgehog, I think the only one who should be hurrying...is you!!"*He says taking out a blaster from his pocket and blasting the volcano, causing the area to shake*
Moises
"Whoaaa!"
Dr Rose
"Reeve!, why on Mobius would you do that knowing how unstable volcanoes can be!!"
Dr Kean
"My dear Alia..I can't keep this charade up anymore with a chance like this coming up, I lied about assembling the Chaos Emeralds for a good cause, seeing as how you were the only one with a means to find them, I tricked you and the hedgehog into thinking I've reformed so that you could help me find them all"
Dr Rose
"You..you've been using us this entire time!?"
Moises
"You really had me convinced you were good Dr Kean!, what's your problem!!"
Dr Kean
"My problem...my problem is you!, for 2 months I couldn't get you or that humiliation I suffered from you out of my mind, but..when I learned of the 7 Chaos Emeralds and their abilities..I knew they could help me..help me regain what I've lost..and as a bonus..I could watch you in the worst pain imaginable, though..it's a shame I'm not the one inflicting the pain..but it will still satisfy me to watch you burn.."
Dr Rose
"Your a lunatic!!, let go of me!!"
Dr Kean
"Quiet!, or I'll drop you into the boiling magma instead"
*The area shakes more and the volcano begins to bubble wildly, and an eruption occurs and a giant burning boulder falls to the ground and rolls down the mountain and Moises makes a run for it*
Moises
*He runs quickly down the mountain in fear"Oh cripes!!"
Dr Kean
"Give it up hedgehog, there's no way you can outrun something as aerodynamic as a rolling boulder down a mountain slope!'
Moises
"Watch me you psycho!"
*Moises continues running down the slope in a hurry, but as he continues running the boulder begins to roll down faster*!
Moises
"Oh no!, if I don't go faster I'm gonna turn into a piping hot hedgehog pancake!!..wait a sec..that's it!!"
*Moises jumps up and he curls up into a ball and he starts rolling down the slope and as he outruns the boulder, he spots a Star Post at the bottom of the mountain and he uncurls himself and grabs on to the Star Post quickly and he enters the portal and teleports to the Special Zone, leaving Dr Kean frustrated*
Dr Kean
"Drat, oh well..if that won't stop him, then I will.."
~Meanwhile in the Special Zone~
*The portal opens and Moises ends up in the Special Zone and he rubs his head*
Moises
"Oh man..what a rush..grr that Dr Kean is a real sicko, and now he's got Dr Rose, well I won't let him get away with this!"
*Moises hurries off and he runs through the Special Zone jumping over the bombs and grabbing the golden rings in his way*
Moises
"Awesome, I'm getting used to this place!, but no time for sightseeing!, Chaos Emerald dead ahead!!"
*Moises continues running and grabbing rings quickly until he sees a bright red light coming from the distance, Moises looks at the light and it slowly fades to reveal that it's a Chaos Emerald*
Moises
"Now that takes me back, that thing's the whole reason I'm the hedgehog I am now, come here you!, your gonna help me save my friend!"
*Moises runs faster and he reaches for the emerald and he grabs it quickly*!
Moises
"Got it!, now to get out of here fast!"*He says before being enveloped by the bright flash and being teleported back to Eastside Island*"Alright, I got the emerald..now where's Dr Kean"*He looks around the area only to find the Chaos Emerald Radar on the ground next to the Star Post and he picks it up and the screen reveals Dr Kean*
Dr Kean
"Moises The Hedgehog, this a pre-recorded message that I managed to do by hacking the radar, if your seeing this, then that means that you've found the emerald, but it also means that I'm long gone and have taken Dr Alia Rose with me, if you want her back unharmed, you will bring the last 2 Chaos Emeralds to me, the radar will lead you to me once you've done so..until then hedgehog.."*He says before the message ends*
Moises
"Grrr!, you want the last 2 emeralds Dr Kean, then that's exactly what your gonna get and a whole lot more!!"*He says running off in rage*
