"Welcome official new first years of class 1A. This is the hero course, which means rigorous training, intense testing, and, most of all, quirk analyzing." Takeda pulled out a piece of paper with pictures and words crossed out. "When I call your name, please stand and explain your quirk." The class nodded. "Alright, we'll start off with Hitoka Yachi."
The timid girl shakily stood up from her seat. Her fingers twiddled as she talked. "Hi, um, I'm Hitoka Yachi, but you can just call me Yachi. Uh...my quirk is called Bad Luck, and it's basically all that it sounds like. I give myself and other people around me bad luck. But the bad luck only works on people who are five feet around me. So um...yeah." She looked toward the teacher, eyes begging for approval. When Takeda nodded reassuringly, she sighed and sat down.
"Next is Kanji Koganegawa."
A tall boy of six foot four stood, towering over the sitting students. He raised his hand above his head, speaking in a loud, almost grating voice. "I'm Koganegawa, but most people call me Kogane!" He pointed to his dyed blond hair at three black antennae on his forehead. "My quirk is called Antennae! It helps me know what's going on around me at all times! It's pretty cool, isn't it!"
Takeda nodded, writing down this explanation. Once Koganegawa sat in his seat, Takeda said, "Kei Tsukishima?"
The tall blond boy stood next to his seat. His deadpan expression deepened into a scowl. "My name is Tsukishima, so you should address me as such." He shot a glare at the orange haired boy. "Anyway, my quirk is Wall, and I can create walls out of air." He sat down without waiting for Takeda's validation.
Takeda nodded anyway, announcing, "Now Lev Haiba."
A silver haired boy stood up next, standing taller than Koganegawa at six foot four and a half. He gave a half smile. "Hey, I'm Lev Haiba. I'm half Russian, and my name means 'lion'. Pretty cool, yeah?" He looked at the others, who just seemed uninterested. "Um, my quirk is called Stretch, and I can stretch my arms, legs, and neck to about twenty feet. It's cool, right?"
Takeda nodded, which seemed to satisfy the tall boy. Lev sat down as Takeda called out, "Runa Kuribayashi."
The next person to stand up was the second and last girl in the class. She had a soft brown hair color. "I'm Runa, you can just call me that. My quirk is called Deafen, and I make people deaf if I talk to them alone. It only works on one person at a time." She sat down.
Takeda wrote the information down while calling, "Shoyo Hinata."
The boy with bright orange hair stood up enthusiastically. His giant black wings rustled behind him. "I'm Shoyo Hinata! You can call me whatever you want, really. Except for quips about my height." He said that last part while shooting a dark look at the black haired boy sitting near him. "My quirk is called Crow's Wings! These things!" He fluttered his wings. "They're pretty strong, too. They can break a boulder. And I can fly!" His wings fluffed themselves up as he sat down, also enthusiastically.
"Sou Inuoka?"
The next boy, with dusty brown hair, stood up enthusiastically. He was only a couple inches taller than Hinata. He pointed a thumb at himself. "I'm Sou Inuoka! Though I'd prefer if you called me Inuoka, I don't really care what you call me. My quirk is called Raven's Wings, and it's pretty similar to Shoyo over there. But my quirk is a transformation type quirk, so they kinda fold into my body when I'm not using them!" He also sat down enthusiastically.
"Tadashi Yamaguchi."
The boy with dark green hair and freckles stood up. He had a very sheepish look on his face. He spoke with a sort of tremble in his voice. "Uh, I'm Tadashi Yamaguchi. I don't mind being called whatever." He was interrupted by a snort from Tsukishima. Clearing his throat, he continued. "Um, my quirk is called Float. When I touch something, I can send it floating in a certain direction. It's...pretty interesting, I guess." He sat down timidly, tears brimming in the corners of his eyes.
"Now, Tobio Kageyama."
The dark haired boy stood up. "I'm Tobio Kageyama. My quirk is Pinpoint. I can send something to a specific point, but only as long as it's at most the size of twice my fist. I'm going to use this quirk to become the best of the best." He sat down.
Takeda chuckled. "Tsutomu Goshiki."
A boy with a black bowl cut stood up. He had a small smile. "I'm Goshiki! My quirk is Future. I can see the future of someone two feet away from me. I can only see what they'll do in the next five minutes, though. So don't ask me when you're going to die. I've gotten that question a lot." He sat down, messing with his hair.
"Yutaro Kindaichi?"
A boy with spiked up black hair stood up. He looked angry, and yet, he wasn't as angry looking as Kageyama. "Hey, I'm Kindaichi. My quirk is Poison Needle. Basically, my hair turns into rock hard needles, and they're poison tipped. I can't kill anyone, though. Just paralyze." He sat.
"And last but not least, Yudai Hyakuzawa."
A tall boy, almost six foot seven, towered over the other students. He wore a deadpan expression. "I'm Hyakuzawa. I can control my shadow." He matter of factly sat down.
Takeda clapped his hands together. "Thank you, everyone! And welcome to UA. Class is dismissed."
A/N: Sorry for the more boring chapter. I promise the next one is way more interesting, even if it's the shortest one in the series!
