Wendy bit her lip, her blush darkening at that smirk. She nodded, "I love you too..." she whispered. "Thank you for coming back to me."

Natsu stared into her eyes a bit longer, "For some reason... I think I'll always come back to you," he replied, leaning in and pressing his lips to hers. She deepened the kiss by cupping his cheek, letting out a faint pleasured noise.

I know I'm strong enough to fight off anything that might tear us up," he whispered, gently running a hand through her blue hair.

She was content with his words, closing her eyes as well. It wasn't long before they both drifted off to sleep in each others arms. The night was quiet and serene... Wendy wished it could be like this forever.
