So new chapter sorry it took so long and it will most probably take me about as long to post this chapter so ima start dating them to show how long i spend on each chapter. So I also left last chapter on a cliffhanger then made you wait another week then another then I posted the City of dreams chapter I really needed to post and then it took me about 3 weeks to post City of hell so I deeply apologise for this chapter being shitty. And yes I broke schedule and posted city of dreams before this chapter and yes i know it was valuable time that could have been spent on doing this

Jace knocked on the door before opening it and seeing...

3rd person

He saw her lying on the bathroom floor with blood in the corner in her mouth, his first reaction was to run over to her and try to wake her up but it didn't work. He grabbed the phone that always is by their bed and phoned for an ambulance. He told them the address, told them to hurry up before ending the call. He grabbed one of his t-shirts and her sweatpants, quickly putting them on before yelling for Izzy and Alec who came almost instantly.

"Jace what.. What happened?" Izzy asked stunned. Jace looked up from Clary,

"I.. She was like this when I came in. I... I... I had to call an ambulance." He stammered, his voice was breaking with every word. Silent tears were threatening to fall, Alec and Izzy had never seen their brother so broken.

"Ok. Alec and I will think of a cover story as to why were in here. She's going to be ok Jace." Izzy said, moving to hold Jace's hand. He smiled at the gesture and got up to get Clary's things ready for the hospital. Alec and Izzy were thinking of a cover story when the paramedics knocked on the church doors. Izzy got it first, she heard them say something about 'stupid teenagers'.

"She's over here please help." Izzy said, pointing towards where Clary was. The paramedics went to where she had pointed and saw Clary's pale complexion.

"Might we ask why your all here in this abandoned church?" One of them asked, Alec and Izzy glanced at each other.

"Our mom recently bought this church to turn it into a house for us and we were looking at what renovations our mother needs to do. So because Clary can't go out often we brought her with us, we don't know how long we have left with her and if she's going to be ok." Alec said sadly, the other paramedic had put a oxygen mask on Clary's face.

"Ok, we're going to put her on the stretcher. Only one of you can come with us." The female paramedic said before picking Clary's small frame up and placing her on the stretcher. The trio looked at each other knowing that Jace will be the one to go with Clary rather than Alec or Izzy.

"I'll go with her. Alec, Izzy will follow us down to the hospital." Jace spoke certainly.

"We will say that usually you can't follow us but in cases like this you can so don't worry. My names Jake and hers is Lilly." The male paramedic said, he rolled the stretcher outside to the ambulance and pulled the stretcher into it. The other paramedic jumped into the front and into the drivers seat, Jace sat on one of the chairs and held Clary's hand.

"Jace?" Clary mumbled starting to open her eyes. Her voice was muffled by the oxygen mask but Jace and Jake still heard her,

"You're ok Clare we're just going to the hospital to check if everything's alright." Jace said moving one of her curls away from her face. Clary nodded before closing her eyes again, Jace saw this. "Clare you need to keep your eyes open please for me." He asked, Clary tried to open her eyes but the darkness had claimed her again. Jace shook her three times before the paramedic checked her pulse.

"Lily! She needs the hospital like now!" Jake yelled, Jace felt the ambulance speed up as the paramedic administrated another round of morphine. They were there in record time before Jace was told to stay in the waiting room. His entire life had pretty much just fucking passed through his eyes, all of the children they we're going to have, their wedding and them growing old. But every thing was with Clary by his side, he didn't know if he could spend the rest of his life with her.

"Jace!" Someone yelled behind him, he turned around to see Izzy, Alec and Magnus. They all wore pain stricken expressions, tears were streaming down Izzy's and Magnus' face.

"I.. I.. Is she O.. ok?" Magnus stuttered before he wiped at his eyes furiously, Alec wrapped his arms around his boyfriend. Jace hugged Izzy before hugging Alec and Magnus,

"I don't know she woke up in the ambulance, then I told her what was happening and just like that her eyes just closed. I asked her to open her eyes but she couldn't, Jake took her pulse then told Lilly to step on the gas pretty much and then we came here. I'm so fucking scared, what if." His voice breaks as he thought about the what ifs and he finally let the tears fall.

"Jace she will be ok-" Alec tried to say but was cut off,

"You don't fucking know that you've never had to lose magnus, I've had to lose Simon and now Jace might lose Clary so don't fucking say that you've never had to lose the love of your life." Izzy said before storming of to the ladies bathroom. Alec looked like he had been slapped.

Alec's pov

How could she say that, but she's right I've never felt the way she has. Clary actually had to lose Jace once and that must be so painful, even when Magnus broke up with me I could still see him. Izzy can't see Simon and Clary's dying, I don't know what would happen if I lost him. Clary is pretty much my little sister now and I have been so fucking wrapped up with my life, I forgot about spending time with her. God damn it. I went after Izzy and knocked on the door.

"Izzy let me in I'm sorry. You were right I don't know how you feel but do you at least feel better since you blew up at me?" I say. The next thing I heard was the door opening and Izzy stepped out with red puffy eyes that were bloodshot.

"I'm sorry Alec I shouldn't have said that." She said sniffling before hugging him. They stayed like that for a few minutes till they went back to the seating area to see it had changed. Magnus was now comforting Jace.

"Jace? What happened?" Alec asked.

"I... It...It's Clary. She... She went into cardiac arrest and they don't think she'll survive." His voice was so broken and so sad compared to his normal voice.

So I did that I'm sorry but I might be ending this Fanfic in a few chapters because why not and yes there will be an alternate ending so that way people can be happy with both endings.
