CHAPTER 7: DEALING WITH CALVARY.

(POV: Billster.)

As Thomas, Lady and Timothy held them off, I managed to get into the temple and was now running as fast as my legs could go through the hallways. I was full of adrenaline, my heart was pounding, and my teeth were gritting. I had the thought of retrieving Blue-Spark within my mind, and I was determined to make it happen. However, as I then passed another torch, I began to hear the sounds of rumbling rocks.

"What's that?!" I asked myself within my mind as then a stone automaton came out of the wall and barred the way before me. "Blast!" I then muttered as I drew my sword. "YOU WON'T STOP ME!"

As I then leapt, the blade of my sword began to glow the light of a spell and grew brighter as I then slashed the automation to the ground.

(POV: Mysterious Narrator.)

As Billster continued to sprint his way forward within the temple, Thomas, Timothy, and Lady were fighting Mordred's knights. As they made sure that no foe would even try to reach Billster, blades clashes and sparks flew. It was definitely a battle of agility and endurance for the three sorcerers. As Thomas then took down two of the knights, four more suddenly appeared in their place.

"Oh come on!" He cried as he then was blasted back with a wind sigil.

"They just won't stop!" Timothy scowled, as Thomas got back on his feet.

"I know!" The 15 year old replied. "There's like there is no end to them! When we take down a few, more of them that have twice the previous number appears!"

"There has to be a sage amongst them." Lady replied, as she stood next to the two brothers. "If we can find and eliminate this sage, we should have no more issues."

(POV: Lady.)

As the brothers then nodded, we all dashed off in different directions to find the sage who was teleporting all of the reinforcements. As I took down knight after knight, I suddenly noticed one knight, whose armor was lighter than the rest, and had an amber colored crystal within his hand that was radiating with mana.

"Teleportation quartz!" I exclaimed within my thoughts. "He's the sage!"

Upon seeing the person who I had to take down, I quickly darted over to him, and took him down in the most swift and painless way possible. Once this was done, I picked up the quartz and destroyed it so they would not be able to utilize it anymore. As I was then about to go over and assist Thomas and Timothy, the knight's commander ran towards me and swung his blade with great rage as it almost got my skin. As I then readied to defend myself, he spoke very darkly to me.

"You killed one of my men!" He said with an enraged tone. "You're going to pay for that!"

"And yet your leader is a bloodthirsty tyrant who just wants power!" I said back. "A man like that is NOT fit to be a king."

"How dare you insult his majesty!" He then shouted as he swung his sword.

As I then tried to block the attack with my rapier, the commander's sword knocked me off of my feet and sent me tumbling backwards. As I then saw him coming at me again, I stood back up and readied for another strike. That is where IT happened. As I then deflected the next strike, the blade of the commander's sword managed to graze me slightly on the cheek. Though the wound was just a simple bleeding scratch, it was still enough for the sword to use it's specialty on me. As I then fell onto the ground again, I found that I could barely move.

"Paralysis!" I exclaimed within my thoughts. "This sword must've had its steel infused with a poison! I better grab Illumious, so I can get up again."

With my rapier being a legendary weapon that was bonded with me, Illumious granted me the ability to rid my body of minor poisons or wounds, just by grabbing onto it. However, right as I was about to grab hold of my sword, the commander stepped over, and kicked it away, far out of my reach. As he then got ready to end my life, I closed my eyes in fright.

"WHOOSH!" Went the sword, as the commander swung it.

"KLING!" The blade sounded as it was then deflected.

As I then opened my eyes, I gasped for I saw Thomas right there in front of me, ready to defend me. As I laid on the ground, I watched and listened to his confrontation with the commander.

"How did you get here so fast?!" The commander asked.

"Simple." Thomas replied back. "The fights got easier, and so I was able to get through all the soldiers that were in front of me. Did you happen to use a physical enhancement spell on them?"

The commander just scowled and growled as he was asked that question. From how his face looked, I guess that Thomas's prediction was very spot on.

"Well..." The commander then said to the Billinton as he then positioned his sword. "If you honestly think that I am just as weak as some of my troops, then that will be the death of you. For I have seen MANY fights and battles in my days."

"I'm not thinking of anything on that topic." Thomas said back as he positioned his blade. "Right now, the only thing on my mind is to protect Lady, and to defeat YOU."

(POV: Mysterious Narrator.)

As Lady then watched on with a face that showed some worry, both Thomas and the Commander charged at one another, with their blades glowing bright, starting yet another fight.
