Hi! So I got a prompt from "the caramel cat" asking for a Star Wars scene, but I've never seen it, so I'm not able to write it, I wouldn't have a clue what I was talking about lol, sorry! BUT LETS BEGIN

prompt- from sora: peggylaf meeting in a coffee shop

(Lafs POV)

-

As usual, I walk into the local coffee shop to order my drink, but today was different, the barista, I had never seen her before. This was odd, because I come here every morning, and afternoon, at the same time too. It took me a second to notice her beauty. She had eyes that lit up the room, her dark curly hair was pulled into a slick ponytail that slid out of her employee's hat.

"H-hi, welcome to Washington's Coffee, w-what can I get started for you?" It was her first day on the job, I could tell. "Oh, I'll have a medium black coffee, iced please." I ordered my usual. "Of course! Your total will be 4.95." I slid my credit card through the machine and as she nodded, letting me know everything was good, I winked at her. I don't know why, so don't ask me, please.

I noticed she stopped and kind of glanced at the ground, looked at me, with her cheeks an adorable shade of pink. I started to drink my coffee, and was about half-way done with it, before I looked over and realized she wasn't at the counter any more. Oh well, I thought, wondering where she had gone.

"Hey, Whatsup?" Before I knew it, she was standing in front of me! "Oh! H-hi! Nothing m-much. h-how about you?" Oh god. I'm an idiot. "I, uh..I'm good." She said as she sat down next to me. Peggy. That was her name or, it was the name on her name tag at least. "I'm Peggy, and you are..?" Ok so her name was Peggy. "I-I'm Laffayette, but e-everyone j-just calls me Laf, nice to m-meet you"

I shook her hand. They were soft, like roses in a lake were formed into a person. A beautiful person, not to mention. "Lafayette..that's French right?" No one ever takes interest in my name, believe it or not. This was nice. "Yea, I, uh lived there until about a year and a half ago." I informed her with a small chuckle. "Oh, that's really cool-" she started.

"Do you like close-up magic?" I blurted out. "Um, yeah I guess. Ya know any tricks?" She asked with a smirk. "I could feel a blush creeping up my cheeks. "I-I do a-actually. Um-uh- here. P-pick a card.." I. Am. An. Idiot. I pulled out my playing cards. She pulled a card out of the middle. I tried to shuffle the remaining cards. And...I dropped them I. Dropped. Them. I bent down to pick them up off the tile floor.

"Well..uh, I gotta get back to work." No! Ugh! I'm so stupid! I dropped the cards! I actually did! "Wait-" I try to stop her, but she's already back to work and out of sight. I sigh as I bend down to pick up the rest of the cards.

Once I had them picked up, I plopped into my chair. Then I noticed the card she had picked from the deck. I picked it up off the table and started to put it with the rest. but as I flipped it over, I noticed little scribbles. 123-456-7890 (call me) and all of a sudden, I was a blushing mess. then I noticed the small winky face on the corner of the card. that didnt help. Funny, I started out the bold one, and well, look at me. I thought as I exited the coffee shop.

As I plopped into the drivers seat of my car, I looked at the card, held it to me chest, and smiled. I put it in the glove box. Alex will never let me live this down once I tell him.
