At the embarkation room, the billboard is closed.
"Inbound traveler." said the technician. "I repeat inbound traveler."
"There is no one scheduled to return until the iris is open." said Captain Ham.
"You are not supposed to activate the billboard unless there is an emergency." said Shoutmon.
"Open the iris." said Captain Ham.
"Yes sir." said the technician.
Raya shows up.
"Raya?" said Alex. "What about Yasuhiko?"
"Your wife is safe and your son is taken by Pennywise." said Raya.
At the briefing room, Captain Ham and Ferrel's men discuss the abduction of Alex's son.
"Your report says that someone is killed when Yasuhiko is kidnapped by Pennywise." said Captain Ham.
"Captain Ham's right. We should go to Shinjuku to get his son." said Raya. "If we can get through Pennywise, then we can rescue his son."
"Alex, Shoutmon, I heard that your son is kidnapped and your objective is to get your family back." said Captain Ham.
At the entrance to Shinjuku, Ferrel shows up after throwing a smoke grenade at several purgers. His men and Raya show up later. At the home, Alex's wife is cooking. The cooking stops when Alex shows up with Shoutmon. He hugs his wife. His brother shows up.
"I'm Jay." said Jay. "And this is my home."
"It was you who provides shelter for my wife." said Alex.
"She is now my wife." said Jay before being attacked by Alex.
"Knock it off, Alex!" cried Shoutmon.
The attack stopped. Jay walks away with his wife.
"Miss May, Jack, find out who is responsible for taking the kid." ordered Ferrel.
"Yes sir. Jack?" said Miss May.
Miss May and Jack are leaving the house. Raya and Ferrel discuss the objective. Alex stares at the table.
"Alex, listen to me." said Raya. "If you die, then your soul will be outside forever."
"Raya's right." said Shoutmon. "If it's tough to be a human being, then you can quit your job."
"We will plan to rescue my son." said Alex. "Shoutmon, let's go."
Jay's wife shows up.
"We will find Yasuhiko and bring him home. When it's done, we will put an end of this rescue mission." said Alex.
Alex sits on a bench with Shoutmon. Jay's wife shows up to converse with Alex. Meanwhile, Ferrel and his men are eating lunch. Jay presents his men scrolls. At night, Ferrel and his men infiltrate a purger's home. Raya leads the purgers and Ferrel engages in a fight by summoning Guilmon. He then opens the door. Yasuhiko flees the room frightened.
"Help! Help!" cried Yasuhiko.
"Come on, it's me, Shoutmon!" said Shoutmon.
The purgers show up and Yasuhiko flees the scene. At the room, Jay and his wife are starting a fire. Ferrel and his men go to the room.
"What happened?" said the wife.
"My son is with Pennywise. We rescued him and now he's frightened." said Alex.
"And he called us traitors." said Shoutmon.
"Then we will take this mission ourselves." said Alex.
The ball is activated. They see Pennywise with Alex's son, Yasuhiko. Ferrel and his men watch the footage.
"That's Pennywise. We should get him and bring my son back." said Alex.
"Alex, I know he is your son, we must wait until reinforcements show up." said Raya.
"He's fighting the brainwashing." said Alex.
They hear a knock on the door. It was the purgers. Jay's wife finds Ferrel and his men a place to hide. The purgers search everywhere through the room. They found nothing.
"Nothing there." said the purger.
The purgers left the room.
"Thanks." said Alex.
"For what?" said his wife.
"For finding a place to hide." said Alex.
In the morning, Alex is with Jay's wife. Later, Jay talks to the purgers until Ferrel surprise attacks the guard by summoning Terriermon. At the room, the purger opens the door only to discover that he is Ferrel, dressed as the guard.
"This house is searched!" cried Raya.
"Hi guys." said Ferrel.
"Where have you been?" said Pete.
"He's turning us in for the kill." said Ferrel.
"I made things new." said Jay's wife.
"Let's get the kid." said Ferrel.
At the streets, several purger guards are leading through the gardens. Ferrel and Sam summon Guilmon and Veemon to surprise attack the men. Afterwards, Alex and Shoutmon reunite with Yasuhiko.
"Get these people to the billboard, I'll get the wife." said Raya.
At the exit, they watch the activity. The billboard is surrounded by purgers.
"We can't get through the billboards without dealing with purgers." said Alex.
"What about the boy?" asked Shoutmon.
"I'll deal with them without being spotted." said Alex. "The boy is with me."
Ferrel and his men are at the exit without any guards present. Jack dials home with Raya and Yasuhiko as well as his wife.
"You have my word." said Alex.
"Go." said Raya, leaving behind.
At the embarkation room, Ferrel and his men with Jay's wife and Yasuhiko return home. At the infirmary, Yasuhiko is taken in for an exam.
"No X-shaped abdomen." said the doctor. "Unlike your father."
"Doctor." said Alex.
The doctor takes the blood sample of Yasuhiko. He is then sent to the prison cell where he is yelling at his mother.
"I hate you all!" yelled Yasuhiko.
At the briefing room, Captain Ham along with the doctor and Ferrel are talking about Alex's son Yasuhiko.
Outside the prison cell, Yasuhiko continues to yell. Alex and Shoutmon comfort Yasuhiko.
"Return to Shinjuku!" ordered Yasuhiko.
"Pennywise is a false god and an evil clown." said Shoutmon.
"Pennywise is my god." said Yasuhiko.
"Listen to me, you are my son." said Alex.
"And I'm Alex's partner." said Shoutmon.
Later at the same cell, Yasuhiko stops a tantrum. Alex is comforting him some more.
"I have to return to Shinjuku to be with Pennywise!" said Yasuhiko.
"What for?" asked Shoutmon. "Pennywise is an evil clown who is the leader of the purgers."
Yasuhiko spits at Shoutmon, but not Alex.
"There is an another way?" asked Shoutmon.
"What is a SDC?" asked Alex.
"I just don't know using an SDC on a child." said the doctor.
Later, Jay's wife, Shoutmon and Alex wakes up Yasuhiko.
"I want Pennywise." said Yasuhiko.
They walk away from him. Alex shoots his own son, stunning him. He drags him to the embarkation room. The billboard is activated.
"Well, it's gonna be a while before I get back to the crew." said Alex.
"I shall return. See you later." said Shoutmon.
