Reckless Endangerment

Chapter Nine

Amanda was tightly holding onto to the neighbor's hand with Dottie finally arriving at the entrance of the emergency and with Doctor Angela Silvers with two techs with a wheel chair to bring her up to the fourth floor maternity ward.

Meanwhile Dottie and the neighbor headed for the admissions office to give all of the information in regard to her daughter having a baby. It wasn't going to take all long since the office had most or all of the imperative information along with the insurance through IFF.

Walking out of the admissions office. They needed to stop by the security area in order to get up to the fourth floor with their passes and with taking the elevator.

When they reached the berthing area since Amanda wasn't exactly ready with the delivery. Though it's going to take some time with the contractions and dilation. Doctor Angela Silvers was going to keep a close watch on her. Though her husband was overseas on assignment.

Amanda wasn't allowed any water having to be soaked already with the painful contractions. As her mother Dottie and the Neighbor held onto her hands for emotional support.

Lee Stetson was tired as he laid down on his bed in his quarters of the Roman Catholic church. He didn't bother to remove his black shoes to fall asleep quickly. Though his leg was feeling no pain from the morphine that was given to him earlier by Francine. He had fallen asleep quickly...However sometime later he fell into a REM cycle ...

He was being whipped again by those inside the small dungeon room. His entire body was on fire from the whippings opening up the old welts from earlier. He continued to moan out with the Chinese doctor and his son Beau watching on laughing at the IFF agent.

"What did you expect to happen Scarecrow?" Using his codename to get his attention.

"I don't understand what you're talking about doctor?" As Beau and another shipped him again into his lower back to bleed further as with his groin to have him crying out in pain like all tortures.

"We need the file Scarecrow or once again we will let you go." Doctor Chi said to the subject hanging upside down.

"And I am telling you several more times I don't know what you're talking about about a file. I am here to have a meeting with the German embassy president to discuss about new proposed military bases." Which was basically true in a way with just twisting it around slightly.

"Bring him down so that I will inject him further with the drugs and hormones. You're going to be in so much pain in a few moments. Then you will be able to tell me the truth?" Doctor Chi had to say with checking the fluid inside each of the syringes and with his son once again finding the proper vein to inject it into his arm.

"Go to hell the both of you!" He cried out as within the next few moments his entire body was on fire and he wasn't able to do anything about it. As he woke from the dream as he was shaking with the shivers needing to run to the bathroom with his bladder full.

Throwing some cold water onto his face looking at his reflection. He was beginning to think about his wife Amanda a great deal having to be alone with having the baby. He had told her before leaving for the mission that he was going to make the delivery. But now here he was with still being in Frankfurt, Germany.

Along with thinking about where he was able to place the file. His head was beginning to hurt like hell as a flash went through his head with seeing a woman's face or rather someone dressed as a nun. Where the hell did he see her? Did he come across her during his traveling come to the Roman Catholic Church. He didn't know as he went back out to his bed laying down with closing his eyes.

IN THE STATES...

Billy Melrose had arrived at the hospital needing to find out about Amanda as Dottie came out from the berthing area with the neighbor helping right now with Amanda still not ready to have the baby boy.

"OMG Billy! My daughter is still having very bad contractions. However Doctor Silvers still think it might be a few more hours. Have you heard anything further in regard to Amanda's husband Lee?" She was frantic for her daughter and for Lee.

"Nothing as yet Dottie. I wanted to stop by to offer any time of emotional support." Billy needed to say with touching her shoulder.

He goes to sit down as with Dottie for a few moments. Before Doctor Silvers came into relax as well telling them that it was getting close.

"Thank god! However I am saddened that Amanda's husband is not here to be here for the delivery." She cried out with tears falling down her face and Billy to give her a supported hug.

"I am so sorry Dottie for all this and I just hope to god that things will work out for the best." He responded with Doctor Silvers telling Dottie to go back.

One hour later it was finally time...

"Alright Amanda I need you to PUSH?" She said loudly with Dottie and the neighbor holding her hands with the pushing and her breathing..

"OMG! It hurts like hell..." As she is trying to grin and bear it right now. Dottie and the neighbor telling her to breath with lifting her up to push again with Doctor Angela Silvers checking the dilation to be almost there...

"Almost Amanda we need to push harder to have the head to begin to move down." She ordered with the instruments she was using down below.

"GOD DAMN IT!" She took several more breaths with feeling the baby moving out as the doctor was holding onto. With two more final pushes and Amanda was lifted for the last time...

"Almost there Amanda." As the baby popped out and Amanda screaming to drop back down onto the berthing bed and the rest of the mess coming out of her and the whirlwind of activity going on in the berthing area to clean, weigh and making sure the baby was crying to check on the lungs activity.
