Resolve laid in a hospital bed barely conscious. He couldn't open his eyes, he couldn't even speak. All he could do was lift his hook just a bit. He lost conscious again.

Meanwhiel Catalyst looked at Jennifer with her new ability of creating her own more powerful silhouette. Jennifer slammed the gas and went right towards Catalyst. Catalyst' silhouette went up to the car and punched it right through the wind shiled causing Jennifer to turn the car quicky and spin many times. She slammed the brakes and got out of the car. Once she stepepd out Catalyst' silhouette nailed a punch right into Jennifer's face. She grabbed Jennifer and threw her to the ground. Before she could get up, Catalyst' silhouette repeatedly kicked her shouting "Trash trash trash trash trash!" she threw one final kick and Jennifer stayed on the ground. Catalyst looked at her and thought she was dead.

"So that's my ability. I'll call it my spirit." said Catalyst. She looked to see the car moving right towards Catalyst and saw Jennifer glow white. Jennifer's ability was to move objects wherever she liked. She launched the car right at Catalyst but Catalyst dodged. Jennifer then threw a tree at her and it nailed Catalyst in the chest. Catalyst fell to the ground and laid there.

"I gotta move somehow! But if I do I'll be open!" thought Catalyst. She then had an idea. Jennifer walked up to her and was about to pull the finishing blow when Catalyst's spirit went through Jennifer and shocked her entire body. Jennifer was completely paralyzed. Catalyst went right behind her and her spirit snapped her neck. Jennifer fell to the ground. Jennifer was dead.

"You were powerful, I'll admit it. But you can't stop what's right." said Catalyst. She walked up to her car which was completley destroyed. "Well shit. I guess I'll have to walk there." she said. She walked for a good 10 minutes and found the emerald under a rock. She grabbed the emerald and setted it in her pocket. She started to head back when a giant orb appeared. On that orb was Drift. But now, Drift had green rock creatures around him.

"Catalyst, did you kill my helper Jennifer?" asked Drift

"You're damn right I did!" replied Catalyst. "Leave me alone! You know you can't win this!"

"Oh, but I can. You see these creatures? They work under the order of me and this orb. This orb is powered by the emerald itself! There is no escape! Your fate is sealed right here!"

"Sure about that?" a voice asked. Drift turned around to see Sonic and Tails standing behind him on the ground, ready for a fight.

"You know you could've just attacked my army from there?" said Drift

"Yeah but I want to look more badass." replied Sonic

"Well I guess it does. But what about the small one? I mean he's nothing more then a fr-"

"Say it and your neck is gone."

"*sigh* fine. He's quiet! Everyone knows the quiet ones suck!"

"Tails this is the part where you talk." whispered Sonic.

"Oh right." replied Tails "Fuck you!"

"That's it? That's pathetic." said Drift. 2 of the rock men jumped down and pulled Tails into the orb quickly.

"Are you crazy?!" yelled Sonic. "He's a kid!"

"A kid who is in the way." said Drift "He gets involved, he'll be resolved."

"That's it! I'm kicking your ass now!" yelled Sonic

Meanwhile at the hospital Resolve could barely move his head. He tried to give the doctors a sign he was alright but passed out quickly.

3 rock men went after Sonic with 2 others after Catalyst. Sonic sliced all 3 with a spin dash. Catalyst punched a hole through the 2 with her spirit. Drift sent out 12 more, 6 on each. Sonic got 3 but was punched by one, kicked by the 2nd, and tackled by the 3rd. Catalyst hit 3 and punched a hole through 2. The 6th stabbed his finger into Catalyst before being smashed to pieces. The emerald fell out of her pocket.

"So that's where it is! All forces go!" yelled Drift. He launched at least 200 rock creatures at Catalyst and they simply dominated her. One took the emerald and threw it to Drift.

Resolve finally woke up and saw that no one was in the room. He realized he was in a hospital bed and had trouble moving for a bit. He decided to lay back down. Though he could feel something wrong.

"Now that's 2 down! 5 to go!" said Drift. "Now Catalyst, where's the first?" he had 3 rock creatures grab her and the 3 holding Sonic came up next to her, Sonic still being held.

"Like hell I'd tell you!" replied Catalyst.

"Fair enough. Men, slice their limbs one by one till they speak up, or die."

They were both tied to a tree and the rock creatures started to pull out green knives. Sonic looked at Catalyst

"Look Catalyst, we are probably going to die here. Before we go, I want to say you're fun to fight with." said Sonic

"Heh, same with you. Though not even my spirit can get us out of this."

"Spirit?"

"I'll explain in the afterlife."

One of the rock creatures lifted up his knife and struck down. The knife was about to cut Catalyst's arm when... SHING. The rock creature was cut right in half. The others looked at each other and they were sliced too. More and more fell to the ground and Drift stood there very confused. He then felt a powerful blast go right through the orb. He was flung out of the forest and into a lake near his base. Tails was flung out of the orb and the orb exploded. The 3 stood there, confused.

"What just happened?" asked Tails. He then heard a noise. The noise of something charging up. He recognized that noise from anywhere. He turned around and saw his friend who he thought was in gone. It was Resolve.
