Vert's POV
"You can't stay strong forever." Draex'ux said in my head, and I growled. "Can't you leave me alone for 3 seconds of my day?" I muttered under my breath, no noticing Agura and A.J., who had walked in, and heard me mutter something.
Zoom had locked himself in his room, crying more than half the day, and when Grace told us that he had told her about Battle force 5, we had to get her to come every day just to get him to eat something.
Lani was stressful as he was pacing back and forth in front of the infirmary, muttering hopes that Taylor was going to be alright. Sage had said we had gotten her back just in time, but that it was going to take weeks for her to heal, and longer for her to wake up.
Spinner and Sherman spent a lot of time fixing the Reverb and the Atomic, Taylor's motorcycle. It helped to take their mind off of Spinner's lost video game buddy, and Stanford's seizure.
Tezz didn't do too much besides researching things in the multiverse. A.J. and Agura were the only ones who were really trying to keep the team together at this point.
"It's been more than 3 seconds." Draex'ux's voice came again, and I growled. "It was to tell you to shut up." I grumbled, walking out of the room.
"Now, now, now. I'm going to be the one controlling you for the rest of your life, so don't give me that." Draex'ux's voice rang through my head, and I hissed in pain as I felt a sharp slash as if I had been cut on my wrist. "Does that hurt?" he asked, and I could practically hear him laughing. "I thought you didn't want to hurt your host body." I muttered, laughing a little, not seeing a few odd looks from Tezz and Lani, who were in front of the infirmary door.
Agura's POV
Something was up with Vert. A.J. and I had both seen him mumbling things after walking out of the rec room, and then there's his hair that none of us had noticed 'till Zoom brought it up. "I think we need to talk to the team." I said, looking at the Canadian male next to me, who nodded. "I'll go get Spinner and Sherman, and grab Tezz on the way." He said, walking off.
I headed towards Zoom's room, where I knew Grace was probably at this time of day. Knocking, there was shuffling, before the waitress opened the door. I barely caught a glimpse of Zoom curled up on his bed. "We need to have a talk about what's up with Vert, so can you and Zoom come?" I asked, and she nodded, looking back at her boyfriend.
I waited patiently for Grace to coax Zoom out of bed, and lead him out of the room. His hair was messy, and visible tears were still streaming down his cheeks. He walked closely to Grace as we each walked to the rec room.
When we got there, Sherman, Spinner and Tezz were already sitting. A.J. came in a minute later with Lani trailing behind him. We each took a seat, and it was quiet until I spoke up.
"I'm not the only one who sees something is up with Vert, right?" I asked, and there were nods, and mutters of yes. "But Sage said she couldn't identify what it was that caused Vert so much pain back in that labyrinth zone." Spinner piped up, and Sherman nodded.
"Perhaps it is not so much a physical pain, but rather a mental pain?" Tezz said, standing by the doorway to keep an eye out for the leader.
"That would make sense, but what could have caused it?" Sherman asked, and I heard Zoom sniffled, before stuttering. "W-What if we checked the S-Saber's cam-cameras. M-Maybe it caught the f-fight between Krytus and V-Vert." he said, wiping his eyes while Grace rubbed his back soothingly.
Spinner nodded, "Yeah… that just might work!" We all nodded, and Tezz told us Vert was coming towards the rec room. "Spinner and I will talk to Sage about it." Sherman said as he and his older brother stood up. They both left the room, and Zoom whispered to Grace about going back to his room. She nodded, and the two walked off. Lani left to go back to pacing in front of the infirmary, and then Tezz went to his research.
Vert came in, muttering a little, and I stood up. Walking over to him, I hesitantly set a hand on his shoulder. "Hey, Vert. Are you alright?" I asked him, and he looked at me. After a moment, he nodded, but I couldn't help but notice that his eyes had changed into a dark orange color with slit pupils.
Stanford's POV
I woke up about half-hour ago. I found myself in the infirmary room with my girlfriend who's badly injured and unconscious. I clearly can't remember what happened during the fight against Krytus and his Reds, and I'm very worried about Taylor. Sage then told me that I had another seizure attack and that blacked me out, and also said that my girlfriend will be fine but won't wake up until her injuries are fully healed. In the back of my mind, I think it's time for the truth for why I kept having these seizure attacks.
"Sage, could bring everyone here?" I asked her, "There's something I really want you guys to know the truth about." Sage nodded in understanding, and went out of the infirmary to get the others. About a few minutes later, Sage came back with the rest of the team (except Vert, who went to his bedroom to rest up), along with Grace.
"What's up, buddy? You alright?" A.J. asked me, "Well, there's something I wanted to show you guys… and please, don't freak out once you see these…" I removed my top shocksuit and showed them my robotic arms that were hidden inside my flesh. I even removed my boots to show my team my robotic legs.
"Whoa, what?!" Spinner exclaimed in shock, "Dude, why do you have those?!" The rest of the team was shocked to see them, along with Sage and Grace.
"Stanford… you're a cyborg?" Tezz asked him with a shocked tone which I nodded, and I explained about the incident from ten years ago that I nearly lost my life. I was experimented on in order to save my life, thus, led me in becoming a cyborg. And I added that my cyborg parts were responsible for my sudden seizure attacks whenever they malfunction. Everyone all felt pity for me.
"But why didn't you tell us, Stanford? From the start?" Agura questioned me, "I didn't as I'm scared that you guys might have seen me as a freak for having these robot parts inside my flesh." I explained, "Dude, we're your friends, Stan." Lani said, "It doesn't matter who, or what you are, you are just you."
"Really?" I said as I was quite surprised by his words and he nodded before he added, "We'll be there for you if you have any problems. Right, guys?" The team all agreed that they'll help me which made me break into tears, grateful. Then, Sage told me that she will be scanning my whole body to analyze my cyborg parts so that she can see what the problems are that causes the malfunction that caused me to have seizure attacks.
There's that chapter, guess Taylor is alive, huh? Well, thank you FoxyKhai0209 for writing Stanford's part! Hope you all enjoyed it!
