Elie sat in the room her and Wily had to rest in last night. She was feeling hungry, thirsty and quite uncomfortable now. A hot shower would be refreshing at this moment. She looked from where she sat at one of the walls to the middle of the room where Wily was sitting on the chair again, staring the door down.
He and her had talked during that night.
He talked about Anna, about the base, about Chad.
She talked about Mobius, her life after Anna left...and what she recalled about Anna herself.
It seemed she hadn't changed much over the four years they were apart. She was kind to those around her, willing to help them out if need be and often was supportive in whatever was going on in the base. Something Wily was appreciative about her sister. As he explained, he still had that reputation around him whenever people came to join the base. The master of robot rebellions and the terrorist to the networks.
When Anna first met him, she smiled and put out her hand for him to shake. He honestly didn't know what to make of it at the time as he always got the concerned looks and pretend-smiles that Dr Light had to nudge him to remind him that he should shake her hand to avoid being rude.
Elie said about how it tore her apart when her sister left her and her father. She cursed her name and Chads for weeks, tore the picture of her, Chad and Anna to avoid looking at, what she honestly felt back then, was the sole reason she left Mobius.
But her dad got her to realize, got her to understand that Anna wanted to be out there, that there was a calling that she couldn't avoid. He said it was her fate to be out there in the stars, whilst Elie was to handle things at home. He couldn't explain why he felt it was, he just, knew.
And to now understand that with the Primus bloodline…
The discussion of Chad was...awkward, at first.
Elie admitted to Wily she was planning to avoid him like the plague in the base. She would be there solely for protection and once the danger had passed, leave as quick as possible and have no further contact.
Wily explanation of what has happened to Chad put him in a sympathetic light that she couldn't help but soften her hatred a little.
The 2 year time loss, Darkmega, Unicron, Richard, the loss of Anna and his reaction to it. Wily explained to her that those 3 months Chad was just...broken. Losing Anna and having his friend Roll brain dead struck him hard. He had her killer in the same place he lived and knowing he can't kill him tore him up every week. He hardly spoke to people. He hardly did anything beyond the basic needs, watching Roll's body and training to kill Richard.
"He wants vengeance for Anna, but it's out of his reach. It's there taunting him. Each time he came out of that holding cell it was obvious he wanted to break something, anything, just to know he has some strength and not all is hopeless for him." Wily said to her.
It made her remember the way he was when he spoke outside the cafe. It was clear something really got to him when he had to explain himself, she couldn't fully place it then, mostly because she was still holding nothing but disdain for him, but now it made more sense.
She now focused on Wily, as the room was nothing but silence. "Dr Wily? When we get to the base...Will I be able to see this, Richard?"
Dr Wily looked over at her. His face expressed worry. "If it was anyone else in that holding cell Elie, I would say it would be fine. But him…" He looked away back at the door. "We've been doing tests. Running them weekly and taking samples off him to poke around with before making sure they're completely destroyed. Some results I've kept to myself...What I'm going to tell you, you cannot tell the others."
He gave her a moment of silence. She had nodded but it wasn't clear if he even looked over to see if she had agreed or not. "I've seen a lot of things in my time, I've seen numerous effects of a Dark Soul. But that...thing, is concerning. I feel allowing Chad to see him is a dangerous choice, especially with how his reacted to matters around that bastard. But if I try to deny Chad...I fear the soul might try to break out to get to him. And if what we've gathered is correct...it easily could."
"What?"
"It's powerful. Dangerously powerful. It tries to act up in both appearance and aura that it's weak and it's current cell is adequate. The truth is far from that. That cell is pretty much like paper to it. Tearing it apart would take a moment before it rampages through the base. But right now it's content. It's happy being held captive. My question is why. Why is it settled enough when Chad keeps visiting? Why does it not seek to destroy him quickly?"
"How do you know this from samples?"
"I used the genes we gathered from the dark soul blood, copied the code into the computer and used a hologram room to replicate a full version of him and ran three tests based on if it wanted to get out. All three led to the destruction of the base and the death of everyone bar Chad. This was based on what the computer could calculate his strength to be from what it had. It's not a solid example as it's only a hole-recreation...but the results were enough to convince me. I deleted the records to avoid the others finding out."
"...Why does Chad survive?" That made her curious.
She noticed Wily glanced to her for a moment. "It leaves him till last, saying about how it needs to break him, to make him see. Sadistic pleasure maybe. But that's the most terrifying thing." He took a moment, as if he was looking back on that time now in his mind. "The hologram is suppose to ask for a behavioural pattern to base off from in order to complete a simulation. Normally in this setting I would base it on any records we have on Richard that might form a viable behaviour pattern, but I didn't include any and just wanted to set it's requirement to escape with violence being a hard requirement. But it never asked. It found one in the genes and code alone. That should be impossible."
That's when the door to their prison opened, as Kefka walks in smiling at them. "Well now if it isn't out little captives. How are we today?"
"This is Kei Yuki. Zerg habitat log, 27. I've managed to get into the subsidiary hive cluster. It's clear that no one is welcome despite the fact the primary hive is open to most people. The Overmind runs a tight ship as always. Still, this place is interesting. The scanners shows it goes several levels deep underground. More so then any of the other structures created by the Zerg here."
We see a cam recording of a flesh covered corridor, ceiling and floor. The stone work it appeared to be based off could barely be seen beneath the finely twisted and melded flesh that pulsates all around the recording, which appears to be only half a meter off the floor, and the sounds of wheels rolling forward were barely picked up. There was no one else present. The place was mostly quiet bar the sounds of the wheels pushing over the flesh and tendrils.
4 minutes pass.
Soon the recorded shows a slight slope...and it was leading into a far darker location. The recording device begins the descent downwards.
"Clearly if anything was to intrude I assume the first floor we had seen was to make sure nothing that explains the point of this hive was visible as they catch the intruder. I'm going to have to activate the small light on my scout to see what secrets await. Hopefully the signal that matches the Zerg psychic wavelength keeps the Zerg off my back for a time more."
Time passes. 8 minutes.
The recording flickers before it came on, showing the device was now in corridor of pure flesh, red, pulsating flesh. The camera looked left and right, each time it detected a sound that did not originate from it. It could detect minor whispers and something being moved within the walls themselves. There were openings in some spots in the wall, easily big enough for a human to get through, but the rooms made beyond were void of anything. The whispers continuing.
"It's quite unusual. In the records known of modern, ancient and even original, believed primal Zerg, there is little recordings of this type of phenomenon. Often Zerg use psychic wavelengths to communicate or variations of clicking, emitted from two pincers within the mouth on the upper part, or their claws have small outer ones attached to the base to create the same thing. Ancient ones could vocalise but whispers were unheard of. As this colony is one trying to de-evolutionise itself It could be perhaps spawning ancient Zerg. The whispers might be them but...no visible signs."
6 more minutes.
"Now on the third level. The corridor here is little different but now lifeforms are moving back and forth between the cut outs in the walls."
The camera on the recording was now suffering from minor static, but as the device moved on, there were Zerglings, a stand of ancient Zerg species now running back and forth, clearly not noticing the machine going by. Within the gaps in the walls that they were travelling to and from were large, flesh-looking pods. Whispers were clearly coming from them whilst the Zerglings seemed to be carrying bits of sinew and meat to place nearby the pods.
"At this stage it's hard to understand the sound but clearly we have Ancient Zerg. The Zergling species are small and fast and often one of the lesser known strands. Attempts to approach the pods is not advised as the Zergling may or may not alert the Overmind….at least we assume that was going to be the reason for it's arrival."
The recording shows 4 minutes pass by.
The device is now suffering from heavy static. The whispers are more audible. The corridor is dark with the small light on the machine barely getting through, the walls are all a far more darker red then the previous, not moving at all, and what gaps there were now still had pods, but these were black, purplish veins running over them. There was no sign of any Zerg here.
"This is the fourth level. The scout is struggling to continue on. Malfunctions were being detected by this stage. The whispers are of an unknown language, the translator unable to detect what is being said. About halfway through this corridor the scout finally ceases movement, the motor function ceases but is still able to record and turn the camera."
The recording shows exactly that. It seems to look to the left, then to the right, back to straight ahead which is completely pitch black, before it rotates 180 degrees to look behind it.
Looking right at the face and glowing red eyes of Zasz before it cuts out.
"The scout was...returned to me. In pieces. Zasz herself was carrying the data chip that housed the captured footage and gave it to me before returning to the hive. She didn't talk. Later on in the day I checked in by going into her territory and no Zerg showed hostility so she doesn't view me as a danger now. Thankfully. I'll give it a month before sending in another scout and this time, to collect tissue samples and to improve on the Zerg wavelength to try and delay the inevitable."
Kei sighed. She sat back on her gold-lined, red leather large chair looking at the computer she had set up on her desk within her cabin on the ship Arcadia. It was small, red carpeted, a single red and golden striped bed, a large window on one wall allowing the light of the sun to flow in, the black painted walls holding wooden picture frames that contained images of nebulas and planets.
She had originally been granted the captains cabin, but chose to leave it alone in exchange for this small location. She was used to tighter spaces, it had the essentials, and the large spa and bathing room was only down the corridor, perfect for her and Maddy...plus, being alone in that large bedroom didn't feel right at all for her.
She wanted company. And whilst Aqua was unavailable, decided to look at what was local to her.
She asked the clone. Dark Rich. She expected he would listen out of obligation. Afterall his genes command him to listen. Plus he certainly wasn't unattractive. To her surprise he rejected her advances. He couldn't explain why beyond the fact he didn't 'feel it was to be'.
Kei then decided to look to a few taverns but there was little there that she took notice of. Life beyond trying to get back to her original job had to wait it seemed.
There WAS once the exciting idea that her and her crew could go out and the explore the stars with their ship...but being that it was stolen, the SF are aware of what the ship is and her being now outside the SF...which controls all space around them, that idea was dealt a swift blow.
It seemed like there wouldn't be much for her to do, as her crew had managed to find work under Eraqus with him now controlling a good portion of land on Earth V she didn't adjust well to the more simpler styles of this world.
But her break came from the now-established Zerg colony of Zasz which had first shown itself about two months ago and since grown from and around the mountain named Qingcheng.
Zasz had left her ship soon after the battle with Richard Wily and mentioned there were Zerg on Earth X and 'She needed to sort out somewhere to be'. Weeks later reports came from Eraqus scouts that flesh-looking buildings and the land being changed along with the wildlife were being noticed from the mountain area. The initial fear was it was someone else's zerg colony on the rise but soon Zasz appeared before Eraqus and explained her intentions:
"Peace is an option but not a guarantee."
"We will trade what resources we uncover for food and other things."
"We hold no allegiance to any kingdom on this world."
"Enter our domain if you wish but raise a blade and we will destroy."
The colony to this world IS under Eraqus' land and thus his rule but he has no say in the matter as he quickly learned on dealing with Zasz. Other kingdoms meanwhile have sent emissaries to the colony to try and understand what this alien species is that's now setting up a home here. Exception being the Shu Kingdom who instead decided to send a messenger to warn Zasz that she was not welcome on this planet.
That poor guy was sent back in a small black box to them with a blooded scroll shoved in his remains with the answer 'Try me.'
The colony had flourished thanks to this. It quickly brought several waves of Zerg to this world that were left stranded after the Unicron incident, all which quickly fell under Zasz's command. Once she was sure her border was stable and there was little chance of attack, she focused fully inwards…
And began to make her species devolve.
Holding humanoid-like features was clearly what was being struck out from the Zerg by Zasz, which she knows is being observed by Kei Yuki. She knew the scientist would take interest the moment something was mentioned, the lack of work plus being unable to hide the existence of the Zerg colony from the Shinra Federation was going to lead to it.
She knows Kei has been hired by them. Who exactly she couldn't be sure of, but the Dark clone didn't hide the fact Kei was being paid by the Federation, at least a part of it's science division, to watch over Zasz and her colony.
There was an upside to her being hired. She could help with Zasz's other mission. One that she had proposed previously and Kei had promised to think over.
She sensed Kei had arrived on the colony borders. Her people knew not to touch Kei at all and only approach if and when Kei is looking for attention from them. In the depths of the large dark red Hive-like structure that dominated the top of the mountain is where Zasz stood. Around her were the thick hardened walls of blackened red flesh and dulled bone, thick dark green slime and fluids dribbling down the walls into the glowing yellow holes in the ground, pulsating and alive. The sounds of the muscles moving, the slow rhythm of the bones within the wall moving to flow with the blood that fills the veins…
This was as peaceful as Zasz could ever want. She could stand, lay or sit here for hours on end. Her connection to the brood was her way of watching outside. Soon though the peace was disturbed as footsteps were felt within the hive, the very building itself warning her of an intruder on instinct.
"Hi Zasz."
"What brings you this time?"
Kei had entered the room, making sure to avoid the slime as it narrowly missed her coming off the ceiling above. She was carrying a few data-pads, as Zasz noticed on opening her eyes. "I'm continuing to watch over the Zerg and I've noticed you've stopped expanding lately. I thought Zerg had the born need to expand and conquer?"
"If it's required. It's not at this time. The colony is large enough and I don't need to suffer a lack of supplements to continue feeding my people. I take it you've brought another scouting device?"
Kei looked offended by that. "You make it sound like whenever I visit I leave one."
"Because you do. I tolerate it as you allowed me transport to this world, but this time do not allow it to go too deep into my home like last time."
"Yeah...about that." The sister of Chad focused on one of the datapads. "I wanted to add more to the write up after that, and I felt, maybe, this time I should come to the source and ask questions rather than sneak around. You see it'll prove very interesting to those I'm hired by so it's helping me out."
Zasz chuckled, now showing disinterest as she looked at the walls around her rather then her visitor. "I won't divulge what my secondary Hive contains. That is for me to know. I set it up for my personal use...not for your machines to keep trying to get into."
"Well if you gave me an idea of why it exists, I would gladly stop trying to figure it out for a time."
"If I throw some crumbs at you, you'll stop? Hmm."
"Promise. For a time though. If they want to know more-"
"Your welcome to throw more of your machines at it. I find it amusing to break them apart." Zasz looked back at her. "Very well. I shall tell you why it exists."
Kei was quick to get the data-pad ready to input whatever Zasz was gonna say.
"It exists, to contain memories."
Kei quickly put that down, but soon noticing Zasz had already stopped, looked to the overmind. " 'to contain memories'...and?"
"That's why it exists. You now know."
"What!? But that doesn't tell me anything! It doesn't explain the flesh looking pods, the ancient Zerg species down there or even the whispers and the unusual level of static!"
"...Do you understand the whispers?"
"No! I don't even recognize the lan-"
"Good. Now let's move on. I need to ask you something." Zasz sat down on the floor, crossed legged. The small aches of standing too long were being felt. "...About my own request."
"The human factor suggestion." Kei replaced the first data-pad with another one, looking at a document on it. "I asked around some of the people I'm hired by…One is willing to look into it. So long as I can gather the blueprints Tails originally used in order for the cloning chambers to be established back then. Though the person is sure Tails never came up with the original idea. 'He's competent but not a genetic genius' as he put it."
"Tails simply put the pieces together to establish what it was. To plan out something that can host multitudes of genetic material to create things is beyond his train of thought." Zasz pointed out.
"How would you know that?"
"I do. I got a read of everyone on that station when you all thought I was 'asleep'."
"Well I have to try and find him in order to get the blueprints." Kei sighed in annoyance. "Which won't be easy since he no longer is in the Hero Base."
"He left?"
"Ejected from them. Being mixed up with Keaton didn't help."
Zasz nodded in understanding that. "Then he'll be on Mobius. He has nowhere else to go."
"I would like to go and find him there. But flying isn't an option, and trying to book for teleporting recently is a pain. So for now your plans are going to have to wait for a while."
"I'll find him."
Kei was taken aback by that. "Huh?"
"I can go and find him. So long as you will hand those blueprints to whoever is willing to help, I will get them."
"When will you go then?"
Zasz got up off the ground and stood once again, walking up and past Kei. "Shortly. If you have need to observe my colony you are welcome to. Don't bother with my secondary hive. My Zerg will not hurt you, but I will tell them to...nudge you, in another direction."
Zasz soon was gone from Kei's view, who looked annoyed now on hearing that. "You can't hide whatever it is forever..."
As the sun started to set on Earth X, Chad had finally got out of his room. Hunger drove him to finally leave and head down to the dining hall. He needed something, anything at this moment.
Stewed lamb with the veg taken out was the best thing going at this time. The dining hall robots were beginning to clean down as dinner had ended a while ago and Chad was the only person now in the hall.
The hot fluids and meat were welcoming to his taste buds. He was so focused on the sound of his spoon clinking the side of the metal bowl as he ate he failed to notice that someone had sat down near him. They hadn't said a word, waiting for him to pick up on their arrival rather then interrupt him.
The pink and black clothing got him to figure out fast who it was when his eye noted it from the corner of his peripheral vision. "...Sorry I haven't been out much today."
There was silence.
"I take it you were watching me leave my room? Only reason you'd be here quick enough." Chad didn't look up...didn't want to. Her being concerned for him wasn't what he wanted to face.
Again she didn't speak to him. He saw her move a little, her hands now placed together on the table.
"...I just needed to sort myself out." Chad gave a sigh, stirring the contents in the bowl. "I've been struggling a lot lately. Emotional hell you could say. That and an asshole who just...just…" He stopped stirring. "I just don't know what to do with him. I'll find a way to deal with him Ruth, in time. But right now he just won't let me recover. He won't let me forget him for a time. You know who I'm talking about right?"
One of the hands moved close to his. She wanted to comfort him but seemed to stop before touching him.
"I'm sorry Ruth. I'm not making sense to you am I? I know I'm not. Richard is one hell of a headache that you really don't need to listen about."
He heard the door to the dining hall open. It was Sabek as Chad quickly recognized the voice. "Ah, I thought I might find you here. I tried your door after knocking and noticed it was unlocked."
Chad turned around to look as Sabek made his way over. "Hey...You joining us then?"
Sabek paused, as he was coming over but now stopped. "Us?"
"Yeah, me and Ruth-" Chad looked back at the table to where he noted where Ruth was.
There was no one there.
He quickly glanced around. "Ruth?"
Sabek meanwhile had finished making his way over and sat down. "Ruth isn't here Chad. She's been hanging around with Hub throughout the day and he taught her how to use Navi combat abilities, according to Quickman."
Chad couldn't figure out why he could just see her...was it just his mind expecting her to be here? To listen to him when his down?...Like Roll used to? Was it all in his head?
Chad pushed that thought aside. He could feel that pain swelling up and really didn't need to dwell on it right now. "So. What's up anyway Sabek?"
The man adjusted his glasses a little. "Well it's about you actually. I've been asking a few people about you, anything unusual besides what you normally are. The picture they painted was...a little chaotic."
"I bet."
"But nothing really odd for you besides a period of mourning. After someone died?"
Chad nodded, taking a mouthful of his now mildly warm stew. "Yeah. She wasn't but she was in the head but let's not go there right now. So why ask others when I can tell you what I've been up to since we last met?"
"Well...Angelus of course."
"That name again?"
"There are many reasons to be concerned about it...and I want to confirm something. To make sure if the one called 'Angelus' the dark soul, is really him."
Chad frowned a little. "How?"
"...I need you to trust me."
"I always have done so that's fine. What?"
"...This place has somewhere to isolate you, right?"
Soon they had gone to see someone in the labs as they knew who they had to ask.
"So...Repeat it to me once more. Please."
"Dr Light it's simple. I want Chad placed in a cell. He mentioned quarantine but I feel that might not work as I'd rather have direct eye contact on him."
"We have one cell. It's only for the most severe cases where whoever it is, is to be picked up by the Federation for detainment. In cargo storage area 1."
"Then it will do. I need to be able to see Chad in order to use the Muo-Ping."
Dr Light was rubbing his forehead, looking at the lab computer whilst Sabek was close by, with Chad sitting against the wall near the door that led outside the labs. Dr Regal was in there with them as was Blues, who spoke up now. "And what exactly is that then?" as Sabek showed them a round glass jar with a sealable lid.
"This is it. It's designed to be able to store a persons soul."
Dr Light continued to look at the computer screen before him. "And you want to take his soul out of his body to find out if this...Angelus fellow, is within?"
"I feel it is the only way to know for sure."
Dr Regal folded his arms as he talked. "And who exactly is this person you're so concerned about?"
"Angelus is an extremely dangerous individual. I cannot provide much to you at this time but I know he is dormant within Chad. At least he should be. I need to confirm if he has got out or not."
Blues raised an eyebrow. "Hold on, so if we do this and Chad's soul gets taken and no one's home in his body...he'll be dead, right?"
Dr Light looked to his created son. "His a Navi. The body will simply shut down...as far as I can assume it will go. Souls are...known but the full extent of their function is still not fully understood. But no doubt putting it back into a Navi will be easier then trying to do so with a living flesh subject." Dr Light looked to Sabek now. "Correct?"
"Wait you know what he is?" The mentioning of the fact Chad is a Navi certainly caught Sabek off guard. "Since when?"
"Answer the question. Will it be easy enough?" Blues pressed.
"Yes...it should be especially easy with what Chad is. Though I must point out a small window of time is needed before Angelus will take control of the body. So it will not be quickly out, quickly back in. Angelus may try to fake us out as he probably can hear what I'm planning, so that's why the cell is a requirement."
Dr Light then looked to Chad. "Are you fine with this?"
Chad looked to them. Being trapped away yet again...it felt like it was a reoccurring nightmare now. "Sure, why not? Maybe by the year's end I'll visit every place we imprison people across the Shinra Federation at this rate."
"...Fine." The doctor looked to his friend's adopted son. "Regal, you'll be in charge of this. I have to focus on the rescue. That holds more priority at this time."
"Understood Thomas." Dr Regal went over to Sabek and Chad. "If you care to follow me."
Hearing about a rescue though grabbed Chad's attention. "Hold on what was that about a rescue?"
Thomas glanced over at the Mobian-Navi. "We're dealing with the situation at the moment. You focus on what's needed of you and if we require your assistance, we'll ask."
"Count me in already! This whole thing can wait! Who's been taken or captured?"
Sabek quickly tried to stop it. "Chad the sooner I know where we stand with Angelus the sooner we can focus on everything else!"
"But—"
"As I said if we need you, we'll ask." Dr Light reminded him, whilst his robot child walked up to Chad, smiling.
"Hey, while we handle that mess you get to experience a literal trip outside your body. Make sure to write up about it when you get back in."
Chad was in little mood for joking, but knew they weren't going to tell him anything. He had to accept what his current role was. Whoever this Angelus was...he had to find out.
Soon night descended onto Station Square.
And dust blew in the wind, with destroyed clothing and the faint smell of decayed flesh.
The people of Station Square had wisely chosen to avoid it's active night life, with the reports that dozens of people that were once residents here were now suddenly missing or turning up dead throughout the day.
No one knowing they were either victims of desperate vampires trying to hide by feeding to avoid showing themselves...or were once vampire kind.
The police force have been attempting to intervene. But twice throughout the day, they encountered Laserman and the slaughter he caused in his wake, punching their vehicles aside to show them that he was not one to be messed with and causing them to reconsider arresting him. This was also reinforced by the fact they saw those he attacked turn to dust, which they knew could mean Vampires. One got a good look to confirm it was vampires when one landed on the roof his car with it's lifeless true form staring right at him for a time before it turned to dust.
So they figured out the heroes were hunting vampires, and getting in the way may lead to any remaining vampires seeking more people to feed and convert to rebuild numbers. It was decided to monitor but avoid trying to halt the hunting.
The news of what was going on soon reached the right ears.
"Wait they're WHAT!?"
Kefka looked completely stunned as the female vampire was on her knees before him, Angelus and Spike. She was showing her true face, her shirt and jacket damaged and a wound in the side of her stomach. "Twelve of them. All hunting us down like dogs. The Navi with the singular eye and the vampire one both know how to get us and chase us down. It was only eight of them at first. Two robots, the Navis, three humans and a mobian, but now another mobian has joined in and three more humans, one has an eyepatch, one with two tonfas and one with a club weapon and a bow with arrows."
Angelus frowned at the deity. "So what if those fools from the Hero Base are here? Why are you worried?"
"Because they SHOULDN'T be!? Don't those idiots know the script? The Primus bloodline heads out and does the fighting and everyone who doesn't have any of the special blood just spectates! Why can't anyone just do what they're supposed to!" Kefka was looking completely aggravated by this turn of events. "God we can't even push ahead with the summoning!"
"Relax, we still got plenty of people...right?" Spike looked to Angelus, before looking at the woman who reported in. "How are we doing anyway?"
She seemed to not wish to look at him nor Angelus as she replied "...We've lost at least ninety of our people. Most to the one eyed Navi."
Angelus quickly looked at Spike, his expression was clearly one of shock and Spike's was no better as it was clear he was certain this whole thing should be aborted.
"Boss that's over two thirds of our number cut down. We've really kicked the Zerg's hive this time to get them looking for us. Maybe we should hand back the old man and hope we can hide further away for awhile with the girl?"
"Send out a message to whoever's left to get back here as soon as they can. We need to reorganize." With Spike agreeing with what Angelus just suggested, he got the woman to stand on her feet and both left Angelus and Kefka alone...the vampire now looking at the deity. "What went wrong then? Where's Chad?"
"I don't know that's Zuo Ci's and Lu Bu's department! What do I look like a GPS on legs? I'll get right on them and try to figure out why those losers are cleaning house!"
With that Kefka placed one hand to the side of his face and closed his eyes, sensing for the two deities he wants to quickly get some info off using a link they all share from their realm. ' Calling all idiots on the loser side. Come in loser side.'
'What do you want, clown?'
'Oh hey Lu Bu. The hell are you and Zuo Ci doing to the game!?'
'I have no idea what you're talking about. Stop wasting my time.'
'Hey I need to know Lu Bu!….Lu Bu!….Did you seriously just decide to ignore me!? I'll be telling Blind Io about this later!'
'Never mind about Lu Bu. I am present.'
'Zuo Ci! Good! Tell me what the heck are you two doing? My side of the game is getting a beatdown and it's not from a Primus!'
'I am currently monitoring the one who was taken from Beyondard.'
'Which one? Pink hair? Blond hair? The guy?'
'Lucy. They have figured out her name already. So what has happened?'
'You know the summoning of Trigon game plan?'
'Yes.'
'You know it needs the boy to make Elie snap and we abuse her emotional anger to summon Trigon?'
'Yes.'
'Well if we're not careful the plan is about to get put through the ringer and so will we if that Primus boy doesn't show!'
'Chad hasn't joined the rescue attempt? I had assumed he naturally would as Albert Wily is in danger and so is the sister to Anna.'
'Well breaking news wrinkly! He ain't here!'
'...Oh.'
'That's all you have to say!? I'm dying here Zuo Ci! Fix it before Angelus decides he quits! We need him to torment the Primus boy for a while before we discard him, the Primus bloodline and close up the game!'
'I shall see to it.'
'Hurry it up and make sure to kidnap his lover or something! Say you sensed vampires enter the base and they stole her! Add some spice into this to get him really going! Heroes hate it when vampires nick their girls! The idea of someone else nibbling on their lovers necks really drives them to prevent it!'
'He hasn't got one.'
'Secret lover?'
'Not as far as I know.'
'Anyone he has an interest in!?'
'The last one is already dead.'
'Are you kidding me right now!? Why can't you get me something to work with!? Look! Just get him here then!' Kefka stopped the link, opening his eyes and lowering his hand, dusting himself off a little with it. "And I thought Sephiroth was going to have it easy with those two on that team…" He turned to tell Angelus the news...and noticed now that whilst he had been standing there in his own little world.
Angelus had left.
"...Well of all the cheek!"
The Vampire Lord had walked away because he decided to talk to someone else, someone who had been sitting in the darkest corner of the car parking area, his eyes eerily glowing as he saw Angelus approach. "You. Richard. What's going on?"
Richard chuckled looking at Angelus. "Me? Why ask me?"
Angelus moved closer, reaching out to grab Richard by his shirt to pull him up on his feet, not in the mood for games.
But a feeling of dread crept up on him as he touched the shirt...shortly deciding after to let go, staring right at those eyes.
He stepped back a little, standing tall again. "Because I have a feeling you've been monitoring things. What's with Kefka and the two other deities he named?"
"The game continues to play on. You're vampire allies are a part of it. You're a toy."
"…"
"But don't worry...to them, you're on the winning side, this time. Though might I suggest you abandon Trigon."
"Why would I want to ever do that?" Angelus looked bemused.
"Because unlike you, he is set up to fail. Blind Io just wants to clear up an old evil that's no longer needed to be stored for later use...but I could make him and a few others trapped away...useful."
"...Where is Trigon trapped?"
Richard was smirking. "The realm of the gods."
"The Deities home?"
"In a cage, in the depths of their beautiful looking realm. Remember, it's all a game."
"...So what's your plan?"
"Simply to 'burrow' them. Let me talk to Elie. And I'll have a way to see Trigon himself."
Angelus glared at Richard now, having no feelings of trust towards him. "And why wouldn't you tell Kefka this idea? Why openly admit to planning to stab him in the back? What's stopping you from doing the same to me?"
The vampire wasn't ready for the sudden movement, to find Richard right up at his face. He could feel a powerful aura of simply...cold. Like as if they were on the most freezing point on this world instead of the warm parking lot.
"...We're the same. From one dark being to another. Let me do what I want. You'll have your time."
Angelus just stared on as Richard went back to his corner leaning on the wall, his eyes never left him.
"Fine. I'll take you to her. Kefka will want answers."
"Act stupid. It isn't hard."
Angelus left him alone, walking towards the room he had kept Dr Wily and Elie in. The two vampires he had on watch nodded at him before stepping aside. He glanced around to check to see where Kefka was, who was currently mumbling to himself walking back and forth a few dozen feet away, tapping his head to clearly try and think of an idea to get this mess sorted out. He knew Drusilla probably heard from Spike by now and both are sorting out the vampires out there getting killed.
He didn't want to be beaten, especially not by Chad. And Kefka wants Chad around as the vampire numbers get smaller and smaller, and with the trump card Kefka promised could turn out to be a dud due to the deities only wanting Trigon out of the way…
"Seems like our alliance won't last long afterall, Kefka." Angelus muttered to himself as he entered the room.
Dr Wily was sitting there close to the middle of the room, his hands on his staff looking at Angelus as he closed the door behind him. Elie meanwhile was sitting at the opposite wall, her knees up to her chest as she also now looked at him.
"Ah. Angelus. First Kefka comes in, gives us food and drink and now this evening you. I assume something has happened?" Wily looked bored as he said that.
"If you're hoping those of the base are coming in anytime soon, I have to disappoint you."
Dr Wily sighed a little. "Shame. The boredom is beginning to get to me. Discussing theoretical quantum universes with Elie was amusing for a time and what I discovered from Unicron I now had time to think over, but now I'm ready to head back to the lab, and I'm sure Elie here would like to see the base at last."
Elie focused on Wily. "Well it sounds alright, but I gotta point out you really made the appearance of it extremely dull. Would you mind if I repaint my room...and every corridor and carpet the place?"
"Forget it. Sterile grey is the way to go."
"No. No it isn't."
"If you're done, I have some news for you. I have someone who wants to talk to you...Elie." Angelus decided to stop their rambling.
This made Elie get up from the ground, stretching a little with her arms above her head. "That's fine. Hopefully it's someone from the Mobius construction council, I got a few complaints about the standard conditions of their parking lots after staying a night in one."
"Oh...nothing so-" He stopped. "How did you know about being in one?"
"Kefka was quick to spill the beans." Wily was smiling. "Turns out he too enjoys conversations about quantum universes. He told me about you vampires, you being a vampire lord Angelus, and indeed a dark soul of Chad Oswald. He also mentioned that the reason Elie's been taken is because of Trogun-"
"Trigon." Elie quickly corrected him.
"—Trigon could be summoned by her and he wants Chad to be the reason because...what was it Elie?"
"I hate him due to what happened to Anna. But eh, I can get over it in time. Time is a healer afterall." She shrugged as she now looked to Angelus. "So since I'm happy enough to not hate his guts to trigger a destructive monster, you guys are shit out of luck on that idea."
It was clear they were giving him a mocking attitude to all this thanks to Kefka. 'Perhaps turning against him isn't such a bad idea afterall.' Angelus thought to himself for a moment before speaking to them again. "Well, I'm sure the person who wants to talk to you will change your tone about things.
It was like he was listening in from behind the door. As if on cue he opened it, slowly walking in with a trail of dust flowing behind at his feet. Angelus quickly picked up on the fact his two guards were now dead.
"Elie Hael...Gramps."
Dr Wily's eyes widened, and quickly slid his hand down the skull of his staff and was repeatedly pressing the emergency signalizer button beneath it.
Elie stared at him as Angelus knew to step aside and let her get a good look at the twelve claws and who they belonged to. "What...who are…?"
"I'm the one who made sure Anna would never talk to you again. Call me Richard." With that he raised his hand towards Dr Wily and fired out a dark blue wave of heated energy, blasting the old man and causing him to slam into the nearby wall slumping on the ground with his staff landing close by.
"Dr Wily!" Elie called to him, soon noticing he wasn't moving before focusing back to Richard. "What are you going to-!" He had quickly moved up to her and grabbed her hand, the one with the mark of Skath. He forced her to raise her arm so her hand was in view whilst she looked at him in the face. She tried to kick him and use her other hand to sock him right in his grinning mouth but it did nothing to faze him.
Slowly, his hand melted into a dark vile purple, melting over hers and her arm...a burning sensation quickly beginning to take hold. "S-Stop! STOP IT!"
"What are you doing!?" Angelus now moved over towards Richard to see what was exactly going on...but the claws swung out at him, batting him aside as he got close.
Elie was now down her knees pulling at her trapped arm by holding onto the upper half of it, which hadn't been covered by the sludge and screaming in pain as she felt her skin melting.
The scream was enough to bring Kefka into the room. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?"
The lack of answer and Elie's continued pained cries and panic was all he got from his question.
"I demand you stop! You serve us! Obey!"
"Kill me." Richard's response was over the sound of Elie's pain.
"With pleasure!" Kefka pointed his hands at Richard and unleashed two huge orbs of fire that launched out from him and struck Richard in the head and back, exploding and almost covering the room in flames, barely avoiding Dr Wily and Angelus and only burning Elie's arm that was caught up in the blast being connected to the Dark Soul.
As the flames died, the sludge retracted. Richard's hand returned to normal and released Elie's...now damaged hand and arm, the flesh fully exposed with blood oozing from it as Elie fell to the floor covering the wound and crying out in agony as the nerves were in overdrive. Her other hand and the rest of that arm faired little better as they were burnt from Kefka's attack.
But Richard was damaged, a gaping hole in the right side of his head, his back blasted apart with his claws all over the floor...revealing a purple glow within what was now revealed to be a husk, with no flesh, bones or organs present.
"...I've done what I needed, Kefka." Richard turned to face him, still perfectly moving as if nothing was wrong. "Another will bring Trigon for you. That I can promise now."
He shattered like glass before the deity, his fragments raining down on the floor before dissolving away into a brief purple dust cloud...then nothing.
"That was a FAKE!?" Kefka was furious, quickly going over to Angelus. "And YOU let him in here?! Why in Blind Io's name did you do that! You told me to keep him on a short leash yet here I find you grabbing said leash and letting him off it!"
Angelus got to his feet, dusting himself off. "He said he wanted to burrow Trigon and the 'others'."
"Others what others?! What does he know you night freak!" Kefka now grabbed him by his shirt. "You screwed me hard with this move so talk!"
"I have no idea. He simply wants to burrow Trigon and the others. That's all I have for you." Angelus grabbed the deity's hand that was on him and pulled it away to make him let go. "This is your mess now. Clean it up. We're leaving."
Kefka snarled and raised his other hand and arm right up to Angelus' face, fire beginning to form in it. "I should destroy a lowly mortal like you for messing around like this! I hope you don't mind a little sun burn!"
Angelus decked him. One strong quick punch right in the face knocked Kefka away and hitting the ground looking shocked as the Vampire Lord was quickly towering over him, grabbing him by the front of his clothing and now smacking him across the face over and over. The deities blood spraying across the ground around them as Angelus, clearly throwing his weight behind the strikes didn't look in any state of anger. In fact, he seemed perfectly calm with what he was doing right now, like it was therapy.
Once he finally stopped, Kefka was dazed, eye swollen, face smash pretty bad but the vampire knew Deities could walk this off as he let go of him. "I've been threatened by other deities in my time Kefka. Thanks for letting me vent on you for those on Beyondard every time they tried to prison me."
Kefka soon was able to focus, disappearing from beneath Angelus and appearing close to the one who just beat him down, getting ready to strike. "Insolent little meatsack! I don't know what history you have with my kind but this'll be your last encounter with-…" Something stopped him. He looked around for a moment, ignoring Elie's crying of pain as he sensed something. "What the? How and when did they…? Damnit!" He gave one hell of a death glare to Angelus. "Get out if you don't want to join the rest of your useless people as ash piles! The Hero Base morons are nearly here!"
Medi was in her room, fully clothed and standing near the window and her desk that showed it was now the dark of night. On the desk were two red apples, completely similar in shape, size and even pattern.
The compiling was complete on that data chip she was focused on now in her hand. Her work was wrapped up, she said to Dr Light if he needed her she'll be in her room. A part of her was worried if something goes wrong and he calls her….she shook her head to dispel those worries. This was not the time. She needed this moment.
Taking fragments of Roll's data was the best way to do this. It was useless for her. Medi would make better use of those memory patterns, those codes that allowed for...for…
Emotional freedom? Is that what it was?
Medi wasn't sure. She felt her hand shake that held the key to be...her.
She placed removed one of her gloves and placed the chip near the top of her bare hand. She couldn't stop the shaking.
Fear? Excitement? She couldn't place it.
But with this. She might finally be able to. It might give her all the answers she needed.
She placed the chip on her hand.
For Jasmine.
Medi felt the rush of energy, the data flowing into her system. In her mind there were suddenly new edits to her programming, new intrusive codes being put in place. It all felt like a blur to her. She noticed the room was beginning to spin. At least it felt like it was. She felt nauseous.
She stumbled over to her bed and sat down, looking over at the mirror on the inside of her cupboard that she had left open, staring at it to try and get some focus as her body was now experiencing frequent changes between cold chills and hot sweats, her pattern of breathing constantly changing between slow and steady to rapid and short. She had it ready just incase there was any outside signs and symptoms, skin changing colour or anything.
She was quickly beginning to regret what she had done. Maybe normal Navis aren't designed for the programming, maybe there was a bug and it was now infecting her.
"W-well, at least now I can safely say this was a waste of my time." Medi mumbled to herself, taking off her helmet and placing it on her bed, letting her hair turn natural as she rubbed her head feeling it ache.
'Not really. It's just gonna be a little bit of a bumpy ride.'
Medi stared at the mirror. That was her voice, and it came from her reflection and in her mind, both at once.
She only then registered her reflection still had the glove and helmet on. Before it stood up from it's bed, stretching its arms upwards for a moment then looking around. 'Everything's being edited around and overridden to the new system settings. It's quite the jump from what you know.'
Medi just kept her eyes on her reflection, before asking it "Who are you?"
The reflection gave her a pleasant smile, before sitting itself back down. 'Well, I'm you. I'm a new program created from your memories and feelings before the overwrite. I'm, to put it in a human way, your conscious. The program you know those other reborn navis carry. Not always this vocal but I could tell you need to talk to someone.'
Medi felt a little uncomfortable with it. "You're inside me?"
'I'm projecting myself through your vision into the mirror so you can get a little more relaxed with me. I had an inkling you might panic if you started hearing voices in your head.'
Medi started to notice something new. She had to blink a few times, keep taking several deep breaths and was humming to herself a little, stroking the bed cover before then licking her lips, looking surprised. Whilst her conscious already knew what it was going on. 'Your senses have been upgraded. Navi ones are intentionally dulled to avoid an overload in the sub-routines but with these new lines of coding, you should be able to handle it now.'
"I-I feel...alive?"
'Alive is a good word for it. You know what test to take next don't you?'
Medi looked over to the two red apples, both dangerously looking the same that before this moment, she had to bring in one at a time to avoid that fatal cascade failure in Navi programming.
She walked over to them.
'Pick one. Both are equally beneficial to you, both look almost the same.'
The blue hue of the ceiling light was reflecting on the scarlet red skins of the fruit, as she reached out and grabbed one with her bare hand, feeling slightly cold, lifting it off the table...before the object fell to the floor, rolling away under her desk.
She had lifted it up for that moment.
She had picked one.
Without a single hint of a major calculation required, as if she just...went for it with minor thought on the issue.
She grabbed the other, staring at it. She then bent down and grabbed the one that had rolled on her floor standing up with both in her hands. Then, she took a bite out of the one that had remained on the table.
It was delicious. The sensation in her mouth was nothing like she experienced before.
She took a bite out of the other, and besides the faint tint of dirt, it was just as good.
And she began to laugh, louder and louder, as she dropped them both on the desk, stepping back and falling onto her bed.
The softness of the mattress was far more evident to her now, the welcoming feeling of this location was more obvious now. She was rolling around on her bed, still laughing in absolute joy.
She was in tears when she was completely wrapped up in her duvet and rolled off the bed knocking off her helmet and glove on the ground. Medi's face was going red as she continued to laugh to herself.
It was like the world had opened up to her, like she had finally seen the colours of life for the very first time. The protective restrictive gloves of her kind were off and everything was open to her to feel, to enjoy, to live with.
And she was ecstatic. The beeping of her com-link during all this was nothing to her right now. It's eventual stop was a welcome thing for her as she continued to enjoy herself.
Till she heard his voice.
"Medi?...You okay sweetheart?"
His voice almost made her world come crashing down. Like he had swore at her and called her something extremely unpleasant.
Medi slowly rolled herself over, looking at Darkmega. Her breathing began to settle as she regain her composure whilst he stared at her from her doorway. "I'm...fine. Honest. Ridley said about a joke in the bar and only now did it click." She forced herself up from the bedding and let it drop on the floor. "Is anything wrong?"
"Dr Light was trying to call you. Dr Wily and Elie has been found. Elie is in bad shape and he needs you in the hospital room."
"U-Understood. I'll get my helmet and glove and get there as soon as possible."
Darkmega nodded, still looking a little worried about how he found her before turning away and walking out the door, closing it behind him.
'And there's the new feelings. You got plenty of 'em now.' her conscious spoke to her, once again in her mind and clearly through the mirror on the cupboard, the bed duvet she was sitting on was still on the bed as if she hadn't moved. 'You should go. Try to ignore the new things whilst being professional, okay? Don't need it overpowering you and causing a scene or everyone will know you've done something.'
Medi focused away from her conscious and got herself ready as quickly as possible before heading to the hospital.
Being greeted by the sight of semi-conscious Elie, her arm shredded and dripping with blood with Dr Light trying to stop the bleeding with Keira's help whilst Dr Wily was sitting up on his bed, looking a little battered but otherwise fine with Shademan beside him seemed to make her stop.
The smell of blood. The smell of burnt skin and flesh. It was unnerving her.
Dr Light quickly noted her arrival. "Medi I require your assistance! We need to identify her blood type and grab a bag to replace what she's lost!"
Medi just stared at the woman who has clearly gone into shock.
"Medi! Now would be a good time!"
"Yes! Yes Dr Light I'm on it!"
Chad sat on the small metal bed in the cell that was set up. Three solid steel walls and an array of iron bars surrounded him as Sabek and Dr Regal looked in on him.
He just listened to Sabek explaining to Dr Regal what was going to happen. Explaining the Muo-Ping and placing it down on a small blue metal table set up near the cell. It was clear he was making absolutely sure nothing goes wrong.
"—You have to make sure if anyone comes in they know it's not Chad talking to them. We don't need Angelus escaping. We may need cameras active if Angelus plays hard to get. He can also try and act like Chad."
"We're not foolish. I'll make sure everyone is informed that comes this way. The camera system will be activated soon after you complete this…?"
"Shout."
"Shout?"
Sabek looked over to Chad. "Yes. A shout." Then quickly back at Dr Regal. "A Thu'um if you know anything of the great ancient language of Leviathans. It's more of a chant. Requires the upmost attention so I don't send Chad's soul anywhere else." Focusing back on Chad once again, taking a few deep breathes. "Or worse, Death decides to claim it."
He removed the lid off the jar, placing it down beside it. "Now Chad...Are you ready? This will be the last time we talk, for a while."
Chad gave a small smile. "I know you'll do this fine Sabek. I'll see you on the other side."
With that Sabek closed his eyes. "Now give me a moment, got to try and recall the words...okay." He opened them, his arms and hands reaching out to Chad as he began his chant:
"Gaar Faal Sil."
"Bel Wah Zey."
"Gaar Faal Sil."
"Bel Wah Zey."
He seemed to repeat it, again and again. To Dr Regal it seemed like nothing was happening, but for Chad, he felt himself weaken. He felt his mind become clouded and hazy. Tiredness was taking over. He slumped forward and closed his eyes as Sabek got louder.
"Gaar Faal Sil!"
"Bel Wah Zey!"
Then for Chad, there was nothing.
Now Regal saw it. Teal strands of light, white orbs surrounded by flickers of colours coming out of Chad gathering over him forming into a larger orb little by little. "Is that…?"
Sabek got louder, his eyes locked onto the orb above Chad as he finally shouted out.
"GAAR FAAL SIL!"
"BEL WAH ZEY!"
The orb flew towards him and the Muo-Ping which he quickly placed his hands on which seemed to direct the soul orb on where to go as it simply followed and flowed into the jar, trapping itself in as Sabek sealed it as soon as the last speck of light entered.
He was panting, his throat hurt from that. "There, there we, got him. Chad's in the, Muo-Ping."
"That's Chad's soul?" Dr Regal moved over to the table, bending down looking at the swirling teal and white within. Which reflected on him and Sabek, a slightly on the walls around the cargo area they were in which held several massive metal crates of numerous colours containing supplies, tools and materials the docs feel they may need sooner or later. The cell was set here thanks to the numerous cameras littered on the walls to make sure nothing is taken.
"Yes. It is." Sabek felt tired. He looked over to Chad's body. It wasn't moving as it remained in that slumped forwards position. "Which means either nothing is in his body, and, it shouldn't move at all...or we'll soon be meeting Angelus himself." He was still getting his breath back. "Take, take the soul to the lab. Keep it safe. And could you bring a few chairs? We might need to be here for some time."
Dr Regal nodded picking up the Muo-Ping and soon was gone. The decent sized metal doors that led into the corridor connected were heard opening automatically, then shutting.
Leaving Sabek to sit on the floor for the moment. He felt relieved it worked. "Thu'ums, aren't easy to do right you know Angelus. They're costly on our bodies. I hope you feel talkative after that."
Chad's left hand twitched. It clenched. Then he was shaking, his whole body was shaking before it toppled over on the bed, his eyes open.
"Angelus?"
There was no response. There no breathing from the body as it continued to spasm.
In a few minutes as Sabek watched extensively, the body came to stop and Chad's lifeless eyes just remained still.
"...Angelus?"
Nothing.
Dr Regal had now returned, carrying two folded chairs, putting one out for Sabek as he put down the other for himself. "Blues has secured the jar for you. Any sign of this Angelus?"
Sabek got up off the floor and walked towards the cell, making sure to stop at arms length to avoid a surprise attack. "I...don't honestly kno-"
The eyes looked at him now. The mouth opened, and there was breathing. Gaping breaths for air like a fish out of water.
The body shifted, alerting Regal as he now stood up and watched. Chad seemed to sit upright, his breathing still erratic as if struggling to make use of the oxygen he was getting.
"So he is still in there. Angelus is here…"
Chad stood on his feet despite clear signs it proved difficult to do so, shuffling towards the bars staring at Sabek, grabbing them as he got close and gripping them tightly. A voice came out...one Sabek didn't expect as it was raspy, echoey, and static like a bad radio signal. "You…"
Sabek just watched as it continued.
"Give him...LEAVE ME!"
Chad just headbutted the bars after that sudden shout, again and again.
"Return him! NOW!"
The noise of the bars being hit echoed in the cargo area as Dr Regal quickly moved over to Sabek. "Is this actually Angelus?!"
Sabek just stared at Chad as he continued to harm himself, only stopping as he finally drew blood from his forehead, sliding down to his knees, and placed his hand on his wound before looking at the blood.
He was sobbing now and placed his hands over his face in anguish.
"No. This, this is something else…Hello?" Sabek moved closer, bending down to Chad as he continued to cry.
"I'm sorry! I never wanted to leave! I wanted to come back but I can't!"
Sabek listened to his words as he tried to talk to Chad again. "...Are you...a part of Chad?"
"I understand but this is mine! Please let me handle this!"
Chad suddenly jolted and got himself off the ground, looking around frantically as he was pushing on the bars and the walls moving around the cell. "I need him here! He needs to be here! I'll destroy this place to find him! He pulled me from the dark!"
Chad continued to speak to himself after suddenly stopping and grabbing his head falling to his knees. "We've been made like this for a reason! They'll bring him back! Your damaged!"
"NO!" Chad seemed to pushed himself from the ground smacking into the bars again with Sabek moving back, completely stunned and confused. "I'LL KILL IF I HAVE TO! YOU'LL KILL IF YOU HAVE TO!"
Chad tightly gripped onto the bars, trying to stop himself from striking them again. "I'm going to get some help! Stop this! You don't belong anywhere!"
One of his hands twisted into a fist as it let go of the bar, smashing into it...severely bending outwards almost a point where it should snap apart. It's voice deeper and menacing "YOU NEVER SAW THE DARK!"
...And with that, Chad fell down to his side, his arms, legs and head twitching, but no longer speaking out with his eyes now shut and mouth agape.
Sabek slowly turned to Regal. "I, don't know what we're dealing with."
1. eyyyy if you guys are still going strong. Good. Keep safe, stay at home, save lives.
2. Gaar Faal Sil = Unleash The Soul
Bel Wah Zey = Summon To Me
