I was dressed in my cheongsam and wearing a black wig.
I was excited for Kenshin's reaction. I didn't really understand how to put a kimono on, so I was wearing a cheongsam.
I wondered if he would like me in it. It was a good Halloween costume. Kenshin didn't even need one!
I came out shyly.
"Where have you b—" Kenshin stopped short, grabbed me into his arms and kissed me. "You look beautiful."
I grinned. "Happy Halloween."
"You explained about the candy and costumes, but...wow."

Kenshin had never seen Kuri look so beautiful.
He helped her sit down next to him on the couch and gave her some pizza. The two of them sat down for a nice date.
Kuri grasped his hand at the scary part of the movies.
"Kuri, can I ask you something?" Kenshin asked.
She turned to him. "What is it?"
Kenshin dropped to one knee. "Will you marry me?"
